Fantastic experience: Amazingly comfortable and convenient ski house. This was our fifth trip to steamboat and our first stay in the Brown Bear but it will not be our last! We felt spoiled by moving mountains and would recommend them to anyone looking for fun & adventure mixed with quiet comfort.

If you’re looking for a great ski vacation without any hassles, there is no better than Moving Mountains at One Steamboat Place. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Moving Mountains made my trip to Steamboat Springs incredible. I stayed at the Orion Lodge which has so many spaces to socialize or relax with stunning mountain views. It was perfect for our girls trip. Moving Mountains also has a shuttle service that was so seamless to use and the drivers were very friendly and always had the best local recommendations. I hope to travel through Moving Mountains again soon!

The house was exactly as pictured, and everyone was blown away by the amenities and comforts. The shuttle service was also very reliable, cozy, and fast. Also when I mistakenly left a valuable item behind after check out — the team was able to quickly retrieve and send via mail as quickly as they could. I will definitely be booking with them again. Fantastic experience: Moving Mountains was top notch from the start of the booking process and throughout our entire stay. The home, shuttle service and responsiveness of MM exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their partners like Ski Haus, Ski Butler and Gregg Smith at Fireside Catering made the trip truly a vacation. Our group had two adults and seven kids ages 16-8 and I felt supported the entire time by MM. We can’t wait to book our next trip.

From the time of booking to the day we left, their staff blew us away. They offered us a top notch service during our entire stay. Every member of the team we came in contact with was happy, kind, personable and helpful. They really care and you can feel it. Terri met us at the house apron arrival with gifts. She was personable and kind and walked us around the house for a tutorial of the home. She gave us the warmest welcome and really started our trip in the right direction. The house has Moving Mountains personal touches all over. They have stocked the house with everything you need, it's clean and ready to go. Then there is the bus. What an incredible service and unexpected surprise that we used multiple times everyday. The bus app is really easy to use and the wait times were never longer than 5 mins. Each bus driver was helpful and happy. We have stayed in competing mountain towns with competitor management companies and they don't come close to Moving Mountains service. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay top notch. We cant wait to come back!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in unit 504. This condo is comfortable and spacious. We had plenty of room for two families (ten of us) to spread out. The beds are amazing, I actually ordered the same mattress for my home. One Steamboat Place is a great location literally steps from the gondola. A definite do again.

Fantastic experience: We stayed in unit 504. What an amazing vacation. There we 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 children under 12 years old. My wife was afraid we’d be totally crammed in, but this condo was perfect, large and super nice. We had easy access to the pool, spa, area restaurants and skiing was right outside the door. Highly recommend Steamboat it’s a great place for the whole family to enjoy.

Fantastic experience: We had 27 family members in both North and South. Everyone had a king bed en suite and could get away from the crowd if needed which was high on our list. Jill and the rest of the staff did a fantastic job getting us settled in and gave us great recs on activities, photographers, restaurants, fly fishing and golf Too bad there wasn’t an indoor connection between the houses! The base of the Mountain was the little ones’ favorite hangout. Without a doubt, would rent again for that large a crew!

Fantastic experience: Where to begin? The Kingdom House boasts spectacular views of Steamboat Mountain, providing an unparalleled backdrop for your stay. Nestled close to prime fishing spots, it is the perfect retreat for summer adventures. Kingdom House is truly the ideal destination for your next luxurious vacation.

Fantastic experience: We got the privilege of being the first guests in the brand new Dale Horse Chalet. The photos are perfect and give you a great visual ahead of time. The Moving Mountains property managers were extremely communicative both ahead of our visit and during the visit. They helped us prepare by knowing what amenities were actually on property and helping us during by giving personalized recommendations for coffee bars and entertainment options. The home was beautiful! Kitchen was stocked and ready to use (no spices) but every other cooking need was met. The bedrooms are all en-suites allowing for privacy among the group. The home has a great selection of board games and fuzzy blankets for evening entertainment and a fun fire pit! Only thing to be aware of are the stairs, this is a split level home and the home is centered around the main staircase, so you will do some stairs. But they are beautiful too and wide enough it’s easy to navigate with lots of people in the home. We will consider coming back to this home!

Fantastic experience: We stayed at the Nakota Lodge - 6 adults and 6 children. The house worked out perfectly! We loved having 2 easy options to get to the base of the mountain - the shuttle, which can be booked in advance, or a short walk to the Wildhorse gondola. The house had very comfortable beds, blackout shades in the bedrooms, a lovely hot tub, spa robes and slippers, a fully stocked kitchen, a grill with a gas line, nice large TVs…highly recommend this property!

Fantastic experience: Apex North was beautifully finished, clean, spacious and incredibly well-appointed. The house had everything we needed and more. It easily accommodated 3 full families (13 people) and the kids had their own space downstairs. The ski-in, ski-out option worked well for us, and the shuttle was very easy to use to get around. Outstanding!!!

Fantastic experience: Stayed at Apex Lodge North and it was totally awesome. In every respect. We had a party of 14 and everyone had tons of room. Great couch for family or multi-family gatherings, super TVs, excellent kitchen and I’m running out of adjectives. There is a cool stairway out back up to Lower Valley View, it is like a two minute walk from the back door not on the street. Very easy. And the way the house is set into the terrain you don’t have skiers going back gawking into your living room like other ski-in/ski-out places. Let’s see what else. Oh, the heated driveway (!) is a marvel of modern engineering and is enough by itself to make me want to come back. And the grill on the back porch has an unbelievable section that shoots out flame that would make Burger King weep.

Fantastic experience: We spent a week at Apex Lodge North in March and it worked beautifully for our group of 6 adults and 8 kids! The ski in/out access was fantastic for the bulk of our group, and the MM shuttle service was easy and responsive for those getting picked up at the base. The house had ample seating for us all to eat together on the main floor, but the second living room also provided separate hang-out areas for kids and adults. We jacuzzi'd, we cooked, we played games and we adults slept great on the king-sized beds. There was plenty of room to hang skis in the garage and the boot dryer was awesome!

Fantastic experience: Great Property, great service. Having their concierge service is a big help, especially for first time visitors to Steamboat. Lots of little extras add to the vacation, quality bedding, towels, soaps, robes, coffee, espresso, etc. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dear Robin Craigen CEO Moving Mountains, We had a wonderful time at the Senner Chalet the week of 2/24 – 3/2, managed by Moving Mountains. Jill and Hannah from Moving Mountains were very good and very much on the ball. For example, the house steam room was new this year and we had some problems getting it started. Actually, it didn’t work at all for us, which bummed me out. By Tuesday we had the original installer at the house to work out the kinks. It was wonderful having a working steam room in the house!! At the same time the hot tub controller went on the fritz. Two days later the pool people came and replaced it. My buddy and I were bachelors this ski trip and relegated to the downstairs bunk room. While in the bunk room we noticed all the other adults in the house walking about in these nice terry cloth bath robes with the Moving Mountains purple logo. We didn’t have any! Down trodden, I shot Jill and Hannah a quick text stating so. Early the next morning we had a personal delivery of three robes. The Chalet itself really fitted our needs. We had a 50th high school reunion of sorts and we just loved the house. We had a total of 12 adults and all took turns cooking dinner for each other. It was noticed that the house had very sharp knives. I mean really? When was the last time you were in a rental and all the knives were sharp?? It was nice. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend Moving Mountains. Oh yes, I forgot about your shuttle service: top shelf!! We are all “diasporic” New Yorkers these days, perhaps a bit jaded and not the easiest to please. But we all walked away from our trip very please and highly complimentary of Moving Mountains at Steamboat. Good job Craig! All the best, Rob Turner

I have stayed in Keystone & Steamboat and each time was impressed with the attention to detail, beautiful homes, accessibility to the mountains, and more. The personal touch and outreach team is fantastic and I always have everything I need and more.

Fantastic experience: We rented a 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath (Chalet Memoire) in Steamboat Springs for a week of skiing with the family. The home was clean, very well stocked, and very well maintained. The Moving Mountains staff checked in with us daily and responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. We were a short distance to Gondola transit, and the Moving Mountains shuttle service was exceptional. The shuttle app was easy to use and the drivers were very friendly, helpful, and professional. We rarely waited more than 6-7 minutes for a shuttle, except during the rush hours from 8:30-9:30 am and 3-4 pm. During rush hours they still did their best to transport us as soon as possible. We had a hot tub at the house and it was clean and well maintained. Overall, we had an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend Moving Mountains for your Steamboat vacations.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely beautiful home with large common spaces, kitchen and bedrooms. We had 4 couples and small children; perfect floor plan for our group and 4 of the 5 bedrooms had king beds. and shuttle service was very responsive. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was the best equiped of any place that we have stayed. The number of dishes, glassware, cookware, etc was superb. We had a private chef 2 nights and she also made a similar comment. The Moving Mountains staff were extremely responsive, answering questions immediately and coming to our home very promptly if needed. The shuttle service was also very prompt and seldom had more than a few minute wait. Would love to stay her again.

Very well appointed kitchen, good size bedrooms and lots of gathering space. We loved it so much we rebooked the same home for next year!

Fantastic experience: Where do I start?! I cannot say enough praise about the entire Moving Mountains staff. From the moment we booked the Black Bear Chalet, we were in direct communication with an actual human at MM. (No automated messages or bots!) We were a group of 10 visiting Steamboat Springs for a winter wonderland getaway coming from Los Angeles, Scottsdale, San Diego, Sacramento, Austin and Denver. I’m a bit of a control freak (lol) so I took the reins when it came to planning the 5 days we were there. In reality, I didn’t need to plan anything as MM had it all covered. They provide you with a simple login to their portal which included EVERY little bit of information we needed for an enjoyable stay. The first person I was in contact with was Mallory — a true gem! She was more than helpful providing information about all the things Steamboat. She arranged for all of our lift passes to be at the house upon arrival and also had all of our gear (skis, snowboards, helmets, poles, etc…) delivered to the house. That created such a relaxed arrival for all of us after a long day of traveling! All we had to do was show up — the best! Another AMAZING service MM offered us was the complimentary shuttle for all of Steamboat. It truly was as easy as can be. Open the app and then request or schedule a ride. All of the drivers were very kind and enjoyable to ride with. They don’t require gratuities, but they each offered a QR code to pay via Venmo if you chose to - which we did because they deserved tips. Being a group of 10, it was so easy to not have to worry about who was driving the rental cars or where we were going to park. It was also so nice to be dropped off right at the lifts — again no hassle. The Black Bear Chalet itself was VERY clean and VERY well maintained. It was fully stocked with all things kitchen related, plenty of sheets and extra bedding, Mrs. Meyers dish and laundry soap, board games, etc. Probably the best part of the home was the elevator — for those of us staying on the 3rd floor, it made the luggage transport a breeze! There was also a heated boot rack which was dreamy. (It sucks putting your feet into cold, wet boots. Lol) As mentioned, we were all coming in from different cities and all had different arrival/departure times. MM was able to accommodate for an early arrival and a late check out. So nice!! I will 10000% be staying at another Moving Mountains property in the future. We truly had such an amazing stay. The ONLY thing I would change would be to book directly through the MM website. I found the house on VRBO and booked through there (not realizing it was managed by MM) and was charged extra booking fees — not by Moving Mountains but by VRBO. All in all, 10 out of 10 stars! THANK YOU again to all of the Steamboat Springs Moving Mountains staff…. especially Mallory, Hannah, Stephanie, Jill, Kameron, Diana, Doug, Eric, Brenton and anyone else I may have missed. Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Moving Mountains. As a STR owner and manager I can say this is one of the best experiences we have had in our travels. My wife planned a steamboat winter vacation for 30 people, they helped us find adjoining property that worked perfect, then found us another property when we had to make an adjustment to our dates! They worked very hard to answer all our questions and help us find whatever we needed to logistically pull this off. Their shuttle service dedicated to their guest is amazing, the properties are top notch and clean! No one was disappointed! Fantastic experience: I HIGHLY recommend this house for your upcoming vacation. The house was beautiful, with incredible attention to detail everywhere you look. The beds were comfortable, the internet reliable, and getting to the mountain to ski was a breeze (couldn't have been easier). All around, the service was first class by the Host, and there just isn't words for the breathtaking views from the living room, wrap around deck, hot tub, and master bedroom. We'll be back - it just can't come fast enough!

Fantastic experience: When we booked the house, we were very impressed by the online photos, but seeing it in person blew our minds! Everything was top notch, from the cookware to the bedding, furniture to plush blankets. All of us hit the hot tub at the end of the day to relax and really enjoyed it! Beautiful house...hard to leave! In addition, the shuttle helped out a ton and the nearby gondola was great, too. Would use Moving Mountains again for sure!

Fantastic experience: Moving mountains was absolutely amazing to work with when renting a home in Steamboat. From the initial property search, helping us plan all our activities and the customer service during our vacation, they exceeded all expectations.

Fantastic experience: We stayed with Moving Mountains for a ski trip in January and it was amazing. The house was in perfect condition and very well laid out for our 3 families, including a huge bunk room for many of the kids. Everyone had plenty of room and there were more than enough bathrooms. There was a lot of thought put into hosting skiers, as the garage and mud room off of the garage have lots of coat hooks, a boot dryer, ski/snowboard hooks, cubbies and seating to gear up. The house is newly remodeled and has gorgeous finishes and TONS of space for eating and relaxing, including the largest kitchen island I've ever seen. Two dishwashers was a nice bonus. There is also an office if you are in the unfortunate position to have to get some work done while in Steamboat. Outside, there is a large gas grill and spacious deck with a hot tub with plenty of privacy, right on the side of Steamboat's ski hill. The driveway and ski in/out walkway are heated and made it super easy to hit the slopes. Moving Mountains has a shuttle bus that is prompt and can take you all over town - restaurants, base area, shopping, etc. It was a fantastic trip, in a beautiful home and town, and I hope we get the chance to go back some time!

Fantastic experience: What an ideal house for multiple families to come together! The GIANT island was amazing as it naturally brought everyone together during meals. People weren’t on their phones, they were talking, eating and enjoying the company. Having King beds in almost every room made it easy to divide up. The layout is also ideal and the interior is beautiful. Love how there is not stuff everywhere. I never knew I needed a boot and glove dryer, but slipping on warm (and dry!) boots and gloves every day is a luxury I now love. The place just has everything you need/want from open layout, two living rooms, some of the best views, gourmet kitchen, covered outdoor kitchen with incredible grill, multiple fridges and en-suite’s for each room. Love the place!

Fantastic experience: Just got home from another trip to Steamboat. Moving Mountains was the best experience yet! We have used other similar companies in the past, but Moving Mountains exceeded expectations. All 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home we rented, greatly appreciated the cleanliness and responsiveness provided by the MM staff, and their shuttle service, including the app to request it, was off the charts! Fantastic experience: We were so delighted with the superb service and care from the Moving Mountains Steamboat Springs team! They made every effort (over and above) to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The shuttle service was perfect, and the on site support from Kam and Rob fantastic. Jill and Courtney welcomed us, answered every question pre and during our stay, and even sent a lovely welcome package our way! Somehow we also got another bottle of wine from them to drink while watching the NFL playoffs. I highly recommend Moving Mountains to anyone who wants to spend a carefree mountain vacation. Superb!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love working with Moving Mountains. The houses are always clean and the products they use in the house are top notch and make you feel like you are at home. We encountered an issue with the propane during our last stay and the team immediately jumped into action and offered several options to resolve the issue. Stephanie the GM in Steamboat was so proactive and could not be nicer! We were Inspirsto members previously and never experienced the service we get with Moving Mountains, despite paying a lot more! This was our 5th stay with MM and won’t be the last!

Fantastic experience: This company is wonderful! We rented the Creekside Chalet for our group of 8 adults and 4 kids. We had more than enough supplies for the long weekend, the house was extremely equipped in the kitchen and the moving mountains staff was readily available for anything that we needed. Jill at the front desk was very helpful when we were stranded with road closures and helped us come up with a plan to get us to our next destination. We will definitely be coming to them for any future rentals in Steamboat!

Fantastic experience: We have rented several times through MM and it is always fantastic! From the planning to any add-ons everything is alway seamless! This was our first winter and the ability to use the shuttle was so helpful along with MM being able to take care of all of ours ski school reservations. We absolutely loved Chalet Brenton and the proximity to the gondola, the hot tub, gym right across the way, and the layout of the home was perfect for our family. We can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience: My Wife and I stayed at Apex Lodge North for a week in September 2023. The weather was beautiful and we had a wonderful time exploring Steamboat Springs. The highlight of every day was coming home to this magnificent mountain home and just relaxing. Every surface, cabinet, fixture, appliance and piece of furniture is brand new and of the highest quality. The artwork throughout the home is so beautiful and unique. We had zero complaints as everything worked perfectly and the management company was engaged and responsive. Could not have been better. We'll be back for sure!

Fantastic experience: Apex Lodge is outstanding! The attention to detail, amenities and beautiful decor is surpassed only by the view. Plenty of room yet very cozy too. It also has the perfect location. We loved staying here and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give Moving mountains more than 5 stars. They were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond to take care of our group, they shuttled us around, brought us a toothbrush when someone forgot, and even laminated some paper we just asked for them to print. Should we go back to steamboat we will absolutely use them.

It was lovely… from the layout with 2 master suites, bunk room for children , lovely linens, fully functional kitchen with all the elements present to cook on site, wonderful hot tub, grill and very comfortable furniture. Fantastic experience: Another amazing experience using Moving Mountains. If I could give them ten stars, I would. This was our third time to stay in one of their wonderful properties. Our large family of children and grandchildren made many new memories in this home. Matt, our main shuttle driver was so helpful and took the best care of my family. Rob (maintenance) and Jill (front desk) were standing by to help in any way possible to make our trip the best! Mallory made all of the arrangements for ski lessons, lift tickets and other recommendations ahead of time Our lift passes were at the home whenever we arrived... no standing in line. I hope our family was as easy to work with as they were! It is a luxury experience and if you are considering using Moving Mountains, they will make your trip experience outstanding. Fantastic experience: District House was beautiful. Everything looked brand new. Lots of tech to make things easy. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotless. Had all we needed for a few nights. We didn't get a chance to use the rooftop hot tub or patio, but it was amazing. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was booked into the District House for a work retreat, and what a pleasant surprise. This is an incredibly well-appointed townhome with a beautiful kitchen and living area. Tons of space and perhaps the most comfortable bed I've encountered while traveling. The cherry on top of this unit is the roof top deck, which includes ample seating, a hot-tub, and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains. I would definitely return here for work or pleasure.

Fantastic experience: Had a great stay at Rustlers Lodge, beautiful place and better than advertised! Unfortunately I left irreplaceable fly rods behind but Jill and her team at Moving Mountains went above and beyond to find them and ship them back home. Unbelievable house…..the service and attention to detail are second to none!!!

Fantastic experience: The house was perfect for a large group and very well managed by Jill and her team. The photos don’t do justice on how big and open this house is. We brought too much stuff because we have not been in such a well stocked place with plenty of items to bake and cook and have a great time. Moving mountains was very helpful with how to get all our cars parked and share ideas for food and events around town. You would be silly to not rent this house!

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous home! Beautiful views to the mountain. The kitchen is fully functional. Dining table for 10 was perfect for gatherings and game nights. Comfy bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms for everyone. Two laundry’s! Ski storage that includes drying racks for wet boots. The Great Room is beautiful; a lovely place to read, chat, or watch TV. Moving Mountains staff are great … very responsive to every inquiry. Also, the town of Steamboat Springs is very nice as well. Lots of great shops, restaurants, movies, and other things to do. Be sure to visit the Botanic Park. Very beautiful.
