Fantastic experience: We just returned from a 12-day tour of Ireland wiht YMT. Truly an amazing, comprehensive tour of the Emerald Isle. YMT's travel planning and tour schedule was absolutely turnkey. This was my first trip with YMT. Our guide was exceptional - a real ambassador for his native Ireland. I came having learned so much, laughed more and making plans for my next adventure.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful tour of the Canadian Rockies. Great price! Way better than trying to see everything yourself. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing the Canadian Rockies.

Positive experience: Our tour from Chicago ending at the Santa Monica pier was more than we expected it to be. Our tour guide Daniel was awesome and our bus driver Matt was an incredibly safe driver and always friendly and upbeat. Going to the top of the St Louis Arch, Lincoln’s grave was an amazing surprise … but the true highlight was the Albuquerque Balloon festival!!! It was breathtaking and so well organized for us!!! Only downside was a few hotels that could have been better but everything else was great!!

Fantastic experience: I just completed a YMT Vacations tour, Greece & Her Islands September 28 - October 7, 2022. The trip was wonderful. We had an awesome tour director, Irene. She was very organized, kept us informed of our schedules, very personable and took good care of us. She is one of the best tour guides I have had. The weather was great at this time of year.

Fantastic experience: This is our 2nd time we had the Bus Tour with YMT Vacations and we're very satisfied with both of them! As the seniors, we feel safe to travel with the YMT, getting out of our house to see the new places, enjoying knowing other people with the same interest without worrying about booking thru Airlines, Hotels and transportations! We're planning to take a vacation every year, if possible, with them before getting too .. old to do so. "lol" Happy Seniors!

Fantastic experience: YMT Ireland bus trip was outstanding from beginning to end. The YMT Experience was outstanding. During our 3 year covid wait they were very accommodating as well as keeping us informed. But let's talk about the experience the bus trip was outstanding. Local knowledgeable driver with lots of experience. He was kind and made the entire experience outstanding. The hotels as well as excursions were very satisfying. I would suggest the extra excursions that YMT offers for the down time, they were not disappointing. When the trip ended the entire bus had made some valuable friendships due to the overall experience. This will definitely not be my last trip with YMT.

Fantastic experience: We did the Canadiam Rockies Tour with YMT and had a GREAT time. Every aspect of the tour was coordinated perfectly. Our Guide, Pejman, was extremely knowledgable and organized. He kept us informed and on schedule without any hassles or unhappy passengers. It was BEAUTIFUL sightseeing of magnificient mountains and with people who were very compatible. This was my first Bus Tour and I believe I will do it again as there was no stress at all!!! Totally enjoyed it!

Fantastic experience: Three of us did The Best of Peru in September 2022. The sights were outstanding. The tour guides were great. The hotels were +/- 3 stars. They were clean and the breakfasts and lunch were good. The only downside was we found the trip too busy. The first day, we had 3 excursions and had a very early flight to Cusco. Negative experience: Was very disappointed in what was shown in the Travel brochure and what was provided in person.

Fantastic experience: Was a great experience to sample Hawaii. Four islands for one great price and an experienced tour director .

Negative experience: Highly disappointed with YMT and their representatives. It began for us with bungled air reservations that were remade at the last minute with ridiculous routes and connections. It took us 38 hours to get home. Our revised air reservations were not communicated to YMT representatives in Hawaii so there was no shuttle for us at the airport. I could go on but this set the tone for the level of customer service thruout the trip. I will not engahecYMT again.

Positive experience: Tour director Natasha was great. The itinerary took us to some beautiful places but based on the median age of my fellow travelers, a good portion involved seeing sites from the bus rather than experiencing it first hand. YMT did the best they could based on the volume of places and things to see but I prefer to have more of an active experience rather than being a passive spectator. Hotels were not very nice based on American standards. The dinners included with the purchase of the tour were not terrible but certainly not exceptional. I had a lot fun but the majority of that was based on being with family. If you aren't an active adult then this is perfect for you.

Fantastic experience: Recently, we thoroughly enjoyed a bus tour of Bavaria & Austria. Our guide Juergin was knowledgeable, friendly & professional. The sites, especially Passion Play @ Oberammergau, a once-in-a-lifetime magnificent experience & our whole reason for this trip. Jerguin made it better!!. Our driver, Cenek, & his coach were wonderful!! I always felt safe! The second half of the trip experiencing, the Castles of Ludwig & the sites & stories from "The Sound of Music" film were an incredible bonus! But Cenek & Juergin made this fantastic journey, oh-so-much-more. Thank you both!! AND thank you YMT for making this trip available & having the grace to hire these two men.

Fantastic experience: Our trip to Ireland with YMT was the best vacation we have ever had. Everything was organized and efficient. It was truly no stress. All we did was pay for the cost of the trip and YMT took care of everything else. Our bus driver/tour guide, JJ, was amazing! He was so good and was the main reason the trip was so interesting and so much fun. JJ gave us wonderful suggestions on where to go and what to do during any free time too. Best vacation ever!

Positive experience: This is a great trip mainly due to the tour director. There were issues created at every junction of the trip but he handled them magnificently. It was obvious there was no follow through from the home office to make sure all arrangements had been verified and kept him up to date. For our farewell dinner we arrive at the restaurant expecting veal. They had not even been advised that we were coming much less what the menu was to be be!! The restaurant pulled off a stupendous meal with no advance warning at all. Not the meal we had expected but grand nevertheless.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the trip. Karen and Sharon worked hard to make sure the trip was interesting, fun and informative.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Alaska vacation in spite of inclement weather. All the accommodations were above average and the tour director was excellent. We will definitely consider YMT if we decide to take another vacation.

Positive experience: Just finished the Canadian Rockies tour with the Calgary Stampede. The trip was wonderful with beautiful scenery. Our tour director, Eric was very attentive, knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He really cared that everyone on the tour had a good time. Sammy, our bus driver was excellent maneuvering the big bus and taking care for the safety of his passengers.The down side we’re some of the accommodations. YMT knew in advance that I needed a handicapped accessible bathroom yet we stayed in hotels that did not have any handicapped accessible rooms so I could not shower some days. Also some of the hotels were not close to restaurants to get dinner so we had to get pizza delivery to get a meal. They need to pick better accommodations that are closer to restaurants.

Fantastic experience: It was so nice. The trip was so inclusive, with so many amazing stops. A great variety of sight seeing. Our tour director, Cassandra, did an amazing job, keeping us on track and adding stops that weren't on the itenary. Very happy.

Negative experience: I am giving YMT 1 star because they chose Holland America as the cruise company. Otherwise I would have given them NO stars. The cruise itself was very nice. The "hike" that I was so excited about doing was scheduled from 8PM to 1PM after getting up at 5 that morning and spending the majority of the day in the coach. There were no other hikes offered. When I asked about the timing I was told "it is still daylight". I specifically requested the tour with hiking available when I booked. The tour guide was rude and disorganized. She told 3 different parts of our tour group 3 different instructions as to where we were supposed to meet. When I confronted her about the fact that we stood out in the sun for 10 minutes waiting on them she swore she never told us those instructions. When we arrived at Vancouver the YMT guide did not know when we were supposed to disembark although we had received WRITTEN instructions. We had to STAND at the terminal for an hour for the guide to figure out where the two people that were missing might be. Come to find out they had tested positive for COVID and had flown home. This tour guide spent most of her time telling us all about her and her life. This is just the highlights!

Positive experience: We were super excited to be taking our tour after many disappointments due to Covid. We know that the pandemic posed problems that were unprecedented. Having said that the management from the YMT office was confusing and unclear at every level with reoccurring unanswered phone calls and emails and in general a lack of communication. Once on tour, there was a miraculous change. Our guides, Carole and Jill were nothing but amazing right down to personally loading our luggage when there were no porters to do so. Between the two of them, their knowledge of the Alaskan landscape and history of the area was more than one could learn in a college level course. Their presentation was dotted with bits of humor and genuine compassion for the Alaskan people, their culture and their contribution to the US. I think I speak for most of the tour recipients when I say that the duo was of the highest quality. The Holland America was a terrific paring for the land tour. The staff was amazing, the food, gourmet and the entertainment outstanding. I still am astounded at how the ship captain was able to maneuver the Noordam thru the passage way with such finesse. Due to a delay in Vancouver the final day of the tour felt a little rushed. We also had wanted to add a couple of our party to the Space Needle and dinner side trip. Our guide, Carmen, was unable to do that.. I think a little creative thinking could have made that happen. Carmen was knowledgeable of the area and worked with the driver to get around the busy city. Unfortunately after having a sparkling coach previously, this one was dirty and lacked any clarity in view as the windows were very dirty. The hotel although lovely and nicely located to the airport, lacked staff of the same. There was some discussion about free coffee for the few guests remaining from our tour. Carmen had to forcefully negotiate that despite their insistence that it was not included with the tour. Actually a continental breakfast at all stops would have been appreciated. Most of the hotel breakfasts were very expensive and there were few other restaurants close by to be able to offer a choice. In closing, I highly suggest you communicate to the Canadian government that the ArrivCan needs to be revised. It caused a lot of anxiety for many of our older tour mates.. As you know it is only accepted through an on-line application and could only be done while internet was available within 72 hours prior to our arrival in Canada. Multiple issues surrounded this process but most boiled down to the inability of the passengers to navigate computers, the inability to download the ap on certain devices and the need for a YMT associate to be available for assistance with the whole process. Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful trip to the Canadian Rockies after not traveling for two years. Our guide, Tejsman was by far the most knowledgeable and entertaining of any of our trips. He shared his excitement about Canada, it's geology, the First Nation people, the wildlife, and nature. We learned so much about all the above subjects and most of all had fun doing it. Your company has a wonderful resource with Tejsman. Our driver,Sammy was great also. We felt very safe with him behind the wheel of our very comfortable bus.

Fantastic experience: I loved the Crimson Canyons and Mesas National Park YMT tour! Our tour guide, Daniel, was the best tour guide we have ever had. He was enthusiastic professional, and knowledgeable. The Utah National Parks were spectacular, and of course the Grand Canyon was awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!!!

Fantastic experience: Really enjoyed the Smokey mountains tour. Scott Terry our tour guide was fantastic as well as Joan our driver. The stops and tours were fantastic and the scenery was awesome. Highly recommend YMT and would love to do another tour with Scott.

Fantastic experience: The tour was beautiful and breathtaking. Add on tours were good, though I did not think Bubba Gumps was worth it. At almost $50 per person we were given the choice of only 3 or 4 $20 meals. Quite the profit for the restaurant. Food was so so. No other negative criticism.

Negative experience: Our tour was a disaster from start to finish. Huge hassle just trying to get on the boat and at the end we were detained because of a cold that I got while on the cruise. They tested me for Covid and had us stay in our stateroom. Test was performed at 5:30 AM we were to disembark at 6. We should of been released by 6, which was our wave time. We’re finally called at 8:45 ! Much, much more to say about promises made but not kept on this trip, lost luggage as well. Will not be traveling with Holland America or YMT ever again !

Positive experience: We were DISAPPOINTED in our "Canadian Rockies" tour with YMT Vacations. Two(2) of the six(6) "Tour Highlights" advertised in the brochure were duds: Lake Louis was frozen over, so NO "stunning waters" to see. We did NOT drive the "breathtaking Going To The Sun Road"...not open until around July 1. We were not told of this cancellation until on our way to Glacier park. Multiple days the bus driver/guide were searching for restroom and lunch stops...it appeared the tour route had not been checked out recently by YMT staff. We signed up and paid for the three(3) extra excursions in advance. One was cancelled... two(2) weeks after our return home, we had to contact YMT for a refund, since none was applied automatically. The hotel in Edmonton was substandard (no individual room heat/cold control). The bus had NO WIFI...not paid for by YMT(?). Our suggestion would be to take this tour in July or later and be flexible. Overall, "Average" is our rating.

Fantastic experience: Great trip! We had a very knowledgeable tour guide in Scott Terry. Orlando, our bus driver, was great! I was able to see all the sights I wanted to see on this trip. This Crimson Canyon and Mesa Tour had been on my bucket list. The hotels were very nice and clean. The food choices and dinners provided was excellent. There were several places where we had lunch or dinner on our own and great choices were given to choose from. The extra sightseeing tours were fun and had a few history lessons with them. I would take this trip with YMT again! I am looking forward to my next trip with YMT when I figure out which trip that will be.

Fantastic experience: Our London-Paris went smoothly with the help of our tour manager Ivan. He is excellent , very caring to those who need helps ( walking and transporting from the bus down ) , very informative and he’s like our old best friend ! I will give him 10 and we’ll recommend being a tour guide . I wish he could be our next tour guide in our future tours . God bless him.

Fantastic experience: The tour of the Grand Canyon and other National Parks (Bryce, Zion, Arches, Canyonlands) was magnificent!. It was well organized and both the bus driver and tour guide were knowledgeable of the places we were visiting. I was especially impressed that when the bus broke down outside Vail, CO., the tour guide quickly arranged to have a local bus come to pick us up! We didn't miss anything because of the delay and in fact our tour was enhanced by allowing us a little extra time in Vail! Hotel rooms were very nice as well.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic trip leaving from Chicago, IL and winding up at Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, CA 2 weeks later. Our great, knowledgable guide, Monica, along with our versatile bus driver, Beverly, made the trip very informative and safe. Couldn’t ask for two better people. Sights along the way included many one of a kind sights; Chicago’s Bean, Elmer’s Bottle Ranch, The Cadillac Ranch. The history of The Mother Road could be seen and felt as we traveled through 8 states. So many beautiful, natural sights as we passed through many cities, towns, and rural areas. It was an experience we will never forget.

Fantastic experience: Recently did a group tour to Greece(Mikonos,Athens and Santorini) arranged by Guava Tours Travel Agency. What a great experience! Thanks to YMT and the superb guide Mary they assigned to our group, we all had more than a memorable trip.Every logistic was flawlessly planned (had many ferry and bus rides), and Mary was so attentive to all our needs.She was like an angel. Highly recommend YMT, and Mary as the guide of course.

Fantastic experience: Our tour guide on the London and Paris tour was Ivan. He went put of his way to make it a great experience.

Positive experience: This tour was beautiful and exciting! The air was crisp and overcast a lot of the time but, overall, memorable. The Tour Director, Ed, was very knowledgeable, professional and always looking for ways for his guests to have an awe-inspiring, memorable trip. All hotels were satisfactory with some standing out over others. The biggest fault I find with some of your choices is they are far removed from nearby attractions or local lore. On this particular tour I was disappointed that YMT decided to have us stopping at supermarkets on four consecutive days to purchase our lunch! Lunch on our own should not consist of supermarkets but choices of buying lunch in the local restaurants to support the economies that open their communities to tours or an occasional supermarket if you have a place for a picnic. Some of the overnight areas could have been chosen more wisely. It seemed as though the areas that were beautiful and had more to offer were the one-night stays while the less interesting place has two-night stays. I believe Tour Directors are in the unique position to offer their input on places like hotels & sights that should be kept on the tour as well as those who should be replaced as they hear the feedback from their guests. Another issue I have is when the bus driver is constantly looking to the TD for directions because they won't listen to their GPS. I find this is unfair to the guests as well as the TD. As I understand it, the TD is there to impart the history and folklore of the particular areas you are traveling in and answer questions, if needed. The bus driver is supposed to get you there with minimal interruptions and get the guests there safely. Maybe YMT needs to be more proactive in choosing the bus line to ensure the drivers are knowledgeable. I believe breakfast is an important part of a busy day! Some of the breakfasts YMT offers are unacceptable and tasteless. I would like to see you work on this aspect of the tours. * On this particular tour we had an elderly lady that was very rude to the TD and called him out in front of the whole bus, which was unacceptable and embarrassing to the entire bus! During this outburst Ed listened, as did the guests, and very politely told the lady that he did not see it on his agenda but would look at it with her. She was not having anything of it and continued to berate him and went so far as to threaten his job. Through this whole ordeal Ed was very professional and tried to calm her. She was like this throughout the trip. The other guests told Ed how badly they felt for him and what a remarkable job he was doing. (I do find that not everyone has the same itinerary. Some are using the description from your website while others are using the last email they received from you. Which one does the TD have?) I would be willing to pay a little more to ensure a decent breakfast and different accommodations in the more interesting places we stay. Overall I would say if you take suggestions from your Tour Directors you could be on the road to a better satisfied guest and increase your business. Thank you for listening.

Positive experience: Was actually a good time Just disappointed in some of the hotels and locations. Baggage handling was not good especially for the older people with Walkers, and alot of on and off bus.

Fantastic experience: No better way to see and experience America than traveling Historic Route 66 than with an outstanding YMT tour director (Monica) and highly trained driver (Beverly). Big cities, small towns, natural formations, whimsical sights -- you not only enjoy the trip of a lifetime; you truly learn what the Mother Road has meant to the development of our country, and how the interstate highway system has impacted the towns and people all along the way. Great fun, great memories, great experiences, great value.

Fantastic experience: The 10 day tour started in Denver and ended in Las Vegas… our Tour guide Scott was out standing… Very knowledgeable about the history and present of our surroundings. He made the trip better.. I would definitely tour with him again… The hotel rooms were good, bus was comfortable… Our bus driver Orlando, he couldn’t be more helpful with whatever he could assist with… this is my 2nd vacation with YMT and definitely not my last…

Positive experience: The trip was good and interesting. We just wish YMT would have been more helpful when the flight home was cancelled since we paid YMT to arrange our flights in the first place.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I took the YMT Vacations "Crimson Canyons & Mesas National Parks" tour. We were very pleased with how friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and capable both our tour Director (Scott Terry), and our coach driver (Orlando, sorry not provided with a surname, from Arrow Stage Bus Lines) were (if they didn't know the answer to any questions, they would research and get back to us ASAP). I would highly recommend this specific tour (you would not be disappointed with the breathtaking sights and the splendor of nature's creations), the tour director and the coach driver. I would like to offer some suggestions derived from myself, my husband and a number of other people on the tour that would have made this tour even more enjoyable: *More ample seats and leg room *A parting get together. Fantastic experience: Scott the tour guide and Orlando the bus driver were over the top awesome.

Negative experience: Eli &his driver seemed to be knowledgeable our accommodation in the little log cabins were terrible also not enough time at Mount roushmore was insufficient. They did not care about diet issues with seniors? I MAY NVER BOOK AGAIN!

Fantastic experience: The Best of Hawaii four island tour was fantastic! I enjoyed all of the tours on the islands and our guide,Pita, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about all the islands and all the activities that we went on as well as being very kind and personable. He took excellent care of all of us! I loved all of our room accommodations as well except I felt that my room in Oahu was not on par with the other islands. Overall a truly great experience!

Fantastic experience: YMT vacation is a great travel co. I highly recommend them and their tour directors. We have been on a China and France tour and they took care of us as soon as we landed and until we departed. We will continue to make our travel experiences with YMT.

Fantastic experience: I thoroughly enjoyed the YMT Northern Lights Tour. Paul was a fantastic tour director, with a wealth of knowledge on all things Alaska. As this was my first time seeing snow and traveling that far north since I'm from the lowest of the lower 48, Miami, Florida, this was truly an wonderful experience for me. I would definitely recommend YMT and Paul to my friends for a great travel experience.

Negative experience: Our group of ladies had a trip planned and paid for by February 2020 to go to Italy May 2020. The trip got canceled because of Covid-19 which was out of everyone's control. BUT the only option we were given by YMT was to leave our money in their account as a credit...absolutely no refund. Then they gave us 2 years to use our credit or lose our money. By February 2022, the battle against Covid- 19 was still in full swing and borders of Europe were not closed but travel was strongly discouraged. Because some in the group were not able to take a more expensive trip, The only option we had was to take a cruise to Mexico which 3 of the group had already ben on and was it my third cruise to the same ports. We are all at least 65 and vaccinated but actually had no business risking our health to be on a cruise but losing over $2500 each wasn't an option either. We all agree we will NEVER give YMT another dime of our money. Get another travel agency! I will say we have never felt safer anywhere than on the Norwegian ship! If you are choosing a cruise line I highly recommend the Norwegian fleet! Stay away from YMT!

Fantastic experience: This was a fantastic trip! The tour is well organised and Kalilli our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The included tours and the optional tours were very good and enabled us to see other parts of the islands. It is a full packed tour, which meant we were busy most of the time. Would definitely recommend the snorkelling tour (optional) and the Lu’au (optional). Thank you YMT, we will definitely be doing another tour with you

Fantastic experience: The trip from Chicago to Mackinac Island, then to Detroit was outstanding. The places that we saw were unusual, the food was delicious and plentiful, the company was convivial and the accommodations were very good to great! I have traveled with YMT five times and have been pleased each time. I have one more trip booked for 2022 and plan on making more plans soon. Fantastic experience: Route 66 Tour was fantastic. The bus was always clean and everyone wore masks properly to protect each other. The tour Guide Daniel H. was the best. He knew so much about the tour and each location we visited and those of interest we passed on the way. Giving name origins of locations in either indigenous or Hispanic names was one example of the kinds of information he shared. Traveling through 9 states on and off Route 66 was a joyful 14 days. There was a lot of activity but other than one hotel in New Mexico the rest were clean and comfortable. This trip was well worth the money.

Positive experience: This was a wonderful trip! If you ever want to see the "kitchy" side of Route 66 with a side of some of the history along the way, this is the trip for you. Our tour director, Daniel Hernandez, was a walking encyclopedia of Route 66 information, he was full of personality and a lot of fun. We encountered all kinds of weather, rain (Chicago), Fog (St Louis and Branson), 45mph winds (Grand Canyon) and snow (Flagstaff), something for everyone. We were disappointed that we could not see the awesome view of St. Louis from the top of the arch and we missed the Balloon Fest due to high winds. Our biggest disappointment though was YMT's choice of hotels, in particular the Hampton Inn in Chicago and Howard Johnson in Albuquerque. These hotels barely fit the adequate category, they were dated and the rooms, especially the Howard Johnson, where the baths were in bad shape (no hot water and lights that did not work). Our bus driver was fantastic, how he managed to get that huge bus in some of the tightest spaces is beyond any skill I have. We did have some motor coach issues with A/C going out and a leaky radiator. Our driver was embarrassed and apologetic even though it was not fault of his. Just a side note, 14 days getting on and off a bus is very tiring, we had no problems sleeping every night. Overall I would rate YMT high on my list of travel options and will most likely book again with them.

Positive experience: Overall, the trip was good, although too many states in too little time. We were constantly on the go and the trip did not feel relaxing. A few of the hotels, especially the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis was not fit for anyone to occupy, and a few others were questionable. For the amount of money we spent, we should have had better accommodations. Recommendation would be to end each day by 5pm and choose hotels that had local restaurants within walking distance. Favorite parts were the Autumn colors, Niagara Falls, Flume Gorge hike, Nubble Lighthouse in Maine, Boston and the NYC Harbor Cruise. Martha's Vineyard was so-so, the best part being the ferry ride. Julie, our tour director was fun and made the trip unforgettable. Our coach driver, John, was also awesome and I applaud him for driving through Boston and NYC! This is the second time we have used YMT and would travel with them again.

Negative experience: I originally booked the tour with a friend back in 2019/early 2020 which ended up cancelled/postponed until 2021 due to the Covid19 pandemic. While on the tour, we noticed people were participating in activities that we had not been informed of. When we asked about it, we were told that we should have signed up and paid for them prior to our trip. However, we had not been notified that it was even an option. For example: the Statue of Liberty side excursion was not advertised originally and was then not offered to us, so we missed out on that. We were also excluded from the last night goodbye dinner as it was added on after we signed up for the trip a year and a half prior, again with no notice. When we tried to add after the fact we were denied. Although we knew that dinners were not included, we were misinformed that the restaurants were within 7 to 10 minutes from the hotel. They actually ended up becoming 30 to 40 minute walks and then lines to order. YMT vacations did not take into consideration the many elderly individuals’ needs (canes and walkers etc.). We ended up walking back after dark in unknown areas (keep in mind one of the places visited was New York), getting back late to have to be up early to go, go, go again the next morning. And to top it off, the hotels were of very poor quality. Overall, not only was there nowhere near enough individual time for sightseeing/shopping, the hours of sitting on the bus caused many of the travelers pain from sitting too long. Please know that the bus driver, Merv, was exceptional, and the tour guide did her best to accommodate as well. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for a positive review.

Positive experience: Tour guide, Linda was excellent as well as Merv our driver I enjoyed all the places we visited and the accommodation were very nice for the most part. There were a few places we stayed that did not have a restaurant and there were not any eateries nearby. This was difficult because there were several elderly people on the tour and unable to walk the distance. It was difficult for everyone when it was dark outside. So I do feel they should have stayed closer to more places to eat when we stopped for the evening. This I feel YMT should improve, otherwise I I enjoyed the tour and the people on the tour very much.

Fantastic experience: The Rocky Mountain Tour was amazing. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, personable, funny. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. The best part, was he really liked all the areas, you could tell how he talked about them. Our Driver was awesome, he was an amazing driver when we hit ice and know in the mountains. The tour was perfect, I couldn't ask for anything different. The bus was clean, the hotels were great, even the mountain rustic hotels were great. I seen more than I had expected. I had a blast, everyone on the bus was fun.

Fantastic experience: The Tour Director, Ed, was amazing. I loved and enjoyed all the hiking spots that he introduced to us. Ed was knowledgeable, tailored to our needs, and passionate on what he does. I had an wonderful time. This Rocky Mountain Tour exceeded my expectation.

Positive experience: Itinerary was good. Seating very crowed, seats uncomfortable for long drives. Daily departures could be be moved 8-8:30AM. Half of breakfasts were cold boxed breakfasts. Layover motels usually 1-2 miles from town, and had no dinning facilities. Guests were dropped off down town, between 4-5pm, no chance to freshen or relax prior to dinner. Thence bus picked you up at designated corner or hotel and transported you to the motel. Half of lunches, purchased at Walmart's, Safeway, thence, road side picnic. Tour guide, very good. Driver dozed off at the wheel, fortunately front passenger, shouted wake up., or bus and Pax's would have ended off the road in the forest Good itinerary, Average Pax's comfort. Capt. Taylor.

Positive experience: First trip with YMT - a great experience with David Herzog as our tour director. He was extremely knowledgeable with on our 10 day tour to the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. We started in Phoenix and fully enjoyed the Embassy Suites Hotel. Definitely the best accommodations of the trip. Some of the other hotels were lacking in amenities such as a broken coffee machine and no - functioning toasters. As breakfast was the only meal provided, this caused some consternation. However, the itinerary made up for this as we traveled through southern Arizona and into New Mexico before arriving in Albuquerque in time for the Balloon Festival. A recommendation for YMT is to include some evening meals. It was difficult finding restaurants at the end of a long day close by to our hotel. Chain restaurants was our only option most of the time with long waits.

Positive experience: Great tour guides, Joe and Chris. Attentive and careful bus driver, Marv. Bus was very nice and comfortable. Overall was a wonderful trip. Recommendations are…. Ramada Inn in Albuquerque was run down, torn furniture, toilet not working, would recommend finding a better place. Bad impression for the start of the trip. You should take Tombstone off the places to visit. Building were old and musty smelling , gunfight so fake it was boring. Not worth stopping at. Missed the welcome get together where everyone introduced themselves and got acquainted before we hopped on the bus. Cowboy BBQ was good food, however, we were in a separate room away from the music and dancing and could not hear or even see the entertainment. Quite expensive for the event.

Fantastic experience: We took the 10-day bus trip to crimson canyon's and mesa's and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the trip We loved our guide and our bus driver and were able to see so many things that if we had done it on our own we would not have been able to see. I would recommend YMT vacations to anyone looking to take a trip and needing some guidance and direction because they made it very easy for us to get to see everything we wanted to see and none of the hassle of the planning It wasn't excellent trip Thank you.

Positive experience: YMT takes care of the transportation, hotel selection, and tourist sites so you just relax and enjoy.

Fantastic experience: This was an excellent tour we enjoyed all that was scheduled. The tour guide and driver were very knowledgeable and friendly besides professional. The only drawback was meals and the arrivals at the different lodgings. Must nights not before six-thirty and then having to walk to find restaurants. I’m sure Covid had a lot to do with many restaurants not being open. That aside I would highly recommend this tour.

Positive experience: Second trip with YMT….. without our tour guide Liz’s ability to react and adjust quickly to changing covid rules and closures this trip would have been a disaster. Our Bus driver Beverly was skilled and always assisted all in Need. Our tour was ultimate canyon and Rocky Mountain tour. This was an active tour, we were all tired, there were twelve hour days and early mornings. There were quite a few people on this tour that should have chosen an easier adventure. Meals were a problem, often there was no walkable restaurant at day end or it was closed. Liz would arrange stores to make sandwiches for us to buy so we could picnic lunch. She was constantly arranging food and bathroom stops as what was opened last week was closed this week. I would prefer a smaller tour group, especially in covid times. No more than forty, 25 would be better. With buffets closed and restaurants understaffed you can’t just walk in with fifty people. We saw more sights than expected, it was beautiful, I lost weight, I’m continuing my walking… what a jumpstart to my exercise program! The trip was amazing but if your not walking a minimum of 5000 steps each day it’s not for you.

Fantastic experience: The Rocky Mountains & Black Hills National Parks tour by YMT Vacations was very professional and a fantastic value. Our guide, Daniel, did a wonderful job making sure that we saw EVERYTHING and provided more facts about the areas, many interesting facts. The overall price was very reasonable and well worth it! Our bus driver did an excellent job making sure we arrived on time, etc.. Yes, I will take another trip with YMT Vacations! I’m very impressed with value and the profession guides.

Fantastic experience: The YMT tour of the Western National Parks was wonderful. All traveling arrangements were planned well ahead and there were no glitches at all. Our tour guide went above and beyond what was expected of her. She was very knowledgeable of all the sights we traveled to, had handouts that were very helpful. The bus drivers were also so professional but yet very hospitable and were easy to talk with or joke! We have traveled with YMT for all of our big excursions. Hawaii, Alaska, Transcontinental trip, and now the Western National parks. We highly recommend YMT

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful vacation in Alaska with YMT!!! We were the first group back to Alaska since Covid. There was a few hiccups, but I'm sure they will get ironed out. Our tour guide, Tall Paul, was great, very knowledgable and entertaining. We also had a great bus driver, Levi. These two men make a great team. I also had a good experience with Bea Phethilay in Guest Services. With the money we paid for the trip I think that more meals should have been included in the price. It would have been nice to have a meet and greet when everyone got there and an end of trip dinner for everyone to get a chance to say goodbye. But, it was a very enjoyable trip and would consider YMT again.

Positive experience: Great tour guide: Ozzie. Too many of the activities were not included. Added many hundreds of dollars to the cost of the tour. Our YMT bus tour from Denver included nearly every activity.

Positive experience: The Westin Hotel LAX was situated in a third world type environment. Absolutely pathetic what has happen to LA. It's terrible! The dog problem both inside the hotel and outside is not acceptable. We would never stay here again. Very disappointing.....

Negative experience: They put an ad for what sounds like a great deal. Then you find out what's NOT covered, the stuff you gotta add onto the great deal. EVERYTHING ELSE: food, air, taxes out the whazzoo. Careful. They don't tell you that. Read the fine print. Ask ?s. Better off planning your own trip.

Fantastic experience: Southeast Asia was an amazing trip. I recommend it to anyone. Vietnam and Singapore were my favorite stops. Love to see other people live. Would go again if time and money were available. YMT made all transfers easy. We love our YMT travel expect, Cheryl. Keep traveling!

Fantastic experience: Everything about this trip was well planned and enjoyable. Our tour guide was great and the hotel was nice. Also the hotel provided one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever eaten. Iceland is just as beautiful and interesting as it’s reputation.

Positive experience: The national parks were spectacular. Scenery was jaw dropping! We had a great tour guide.Cassandra was up beat and friendly. This is not a tour for foodies. We often stopped at Walmart to pick up suppies for lunch that we ate outside on a park bench. We had a few nice dinners, but most of the time we only had fast food or pizzas available.Some rooms were not as clean as I would have liked, and when we stayed at casinos, they allow smoking, so meals there were in a smoky environment. Make sure you take lots to do on the bus as several days involved HOURS of driving through boring scrub land. Glad we did see the national parks,but I would have second thoughts about going on the tour if I had known this info up front.

Positive experience: This was a very good trip. Iceland is very pretty and interesting with a unique history. Our guide was excellent. Would have liked to go all the way north. Many interesting sites visited. Only disappoints we’re not being able to view the Northern Lights, and more Icelandic menus not being available to the tourists.

Fantastic experience: Wife and I took the national parks tour of the golden west. The tour was very well managed. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about every place we visited! Our coach driver was extremely experienced and was very much the professional. The guide and driver worked very well together and kept the whole bus entertained for the whole tour. As it turns out, our tour was the last one that lasted 14 days. Even though it was a long time on the bus, we saw so much at every destination, it was worth it! We would recommend this trip for anyone that wants to get the most bang for their buck!

Positive experience: This was our 2nd trip with YMT, and again a well organized tour. We especially appreciated our tour guide, Mary Clark and excellent bus driver, Beverly Vargas. Both were outstanding! We're now considering a 3rd trip with YMT in the near future. This would have been a 5-star rated tour, except for one hotel that was not up to YMT standards. Surprised you put us there. Thanks for our dream vacation.

Positive experience: Had a great tour director and bus driver. Favorite site was Niagra falls Hotels were good. We stayed a long ways from the city centers so only opportunity to see things was with the tour.
