Fantastic experience: Today, I had my license plates changed for new ones. Rebecca and Lydia made the process so easy for me. They were so helpful thought my whole experience. Great staff and a clean place. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Adam assisted with my vehicle transfer today and was very delightful to work with. It's hard to come by quality customer service nowadays, but Adam was very kind and positive which was very appreciated. Thank you!
Negative experience: I bought car insurance and they charged me 327 dollars when I canceled.. they hadn't told me that when I bought..
Negative experience: AAA has the WORST customer service!! If I could give them a zero rating, I would. They never answer the phone, and if you go in there in person, they give you the runaround. Nobody could help me with my issue after 5 visits to a branch office and 5 phone calls to the toll free number! Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor on the phone, I was told they were "busy," and I would receive a call back in 48-72 hours... After being on hold for 45 minutes! Needless to say, I never received a call back. My issue still isn't resolved and after more than 25 years with them, it's time to move on.
Fantastic experience: Julie was fantastic and helped us get my title fixed and registrations renewed. She saved us so much time and headache from the DMV.

Negative experience: Very bad service the receptionist was giving attitude and being racist to me because I don't know how to speak English very well and confusing me and my son who was translating for me when I tried giving proof that I had returned the car back to the dealership, the receptionist and the manager where constantly denying it without guiding us, I would give a zero if I could. This all happened on September 28,2024
Fantastic experience: While waiting, the front desk lady offered everybody a bottle of water because we’re going through a heat wave! So sweet!!
Positive experience: Skip the DMV and do your plate service here. I was told this place can be very busy and with long waits. But we were lucky when we came with only one person ahead of us. The check in lady was super knowledgeable and efficient. She understood what we needed, got us the right forms. Send us to Adam to finalize our paperwork, Adam is the nicest person and fast too. We got our paperwork don’t in less than 10 minutes. Thank you Adam. Top that DMV!!
Negative experience: I called to pay my bill and the guy that answered transferred me to an automated service after I told him it’s not taking my policy number and after I said I need help paying it cause it should’ve been automatic payment.. sucks . Bad customer service .
Fantastic experience: I came in today to the Rancho San Diego AAA office and Regina was so wonderful in the time, care, and help she gave to me to plan an upcoming roadtrip!!! All the stress I had over planning vanished! Thanks, Regina...A TON!!!
Negative experience: I went to this branch to have a disabled placard re-issued. The lady who helped me said they would call me back as soon as their boss came out of a meeting to help me do that, because she wasn’t sure if she could help me with my placard reissue. I left with her promising to call me later that day, and never heard from her again. I’ve been a AAA member for over 20 years; this is not how you should treat customers.
Negative experience: One of the worst insurance companies I’ve seen! The guy who sits at the begging to the left I’m not sure if his name is Dan but he is super rude . He messed up my auto policy ! He purposely made it more expensive. My best advise to you is to Google Costco auto insurance and call them to get a quote you’ll save a lot of money. In the mean time you would want to keep their towing membership just in case .
Fantastic experience: Went on a Saturday at noon and waited 30 minutes. They were very pleasant efficient. They said get there before 10am for little or no wait.
Fantastic experience: Great experience with DMV services. Diane G. Helped me with the process of user car title transfer and registration. Provided me with info about the process I was unaware of and got everything taken care of seamlessly. Highly recommend!

Positive experience: I was able to complete all of my DMV business, with out going to the DMV. I renewed my registration & my disabled license plates. AAA only except checks,cash or major Visa/Mastercard. No debit cards even if they have Visa/Mastercard emblem. Overall I was pleased with the services I recieved. Also last but not least the clerk that handled my transaction did a great job. So she deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. However, overall in anything we do there's always room for improvement in some area(s).

Positive experience: They had a set up of someone sitting out front who was suppose to be helping. He had redress blond hair. He had helped two people before me. He looked at me, got up from his chair walk in the building talked to several employees came back sat down, got up again walked in the building again. I asked the girl behind me do you think he sees us. He then directed us to go to the front desk for service. It was as though he took pleasure in not providing service to me. He must have been having a bad day. I could have been offended but I have been with AAA for 29 years and this was not the kind of service I usually get.

Negative experience: They insured me my RV during took payment then cancled me and a month thought i was insured i was not. Bad business practice not happy
Negative experience: Every time I go to this AAA I get different answers to the same questions. When I prove that answers keep changing I get an apology but no resolution. No consequences for the employees providing incorrect information, no disciplinary action, no reason to change.

Where it gets tricky is when you start bundling thier other offers like home insurance (they offer through a partnership). Still helpful at a good price, just have had small coordination issues.

Negative experience: I was a walk in and I asked that I can be with anyone to help me todo adjustment to my policy. The front desk guy how set right in the door to help with check in during covid-19 told me to set after 10 minutes a couple has checked in too. After 3min he told to go to one of the stations to be helped. I was wondering if they had appointment before or they were here earlier. Anyway I asked him what's up? He said " they were served first because they want to be with that person and you said you can be with anyone to be help." I don't want to talk about discrimination because it was obvious. However I think this branch of AAA needs to train their employees professionally.

The staff is well trained and return the calls expeditiously whenever you need their service. Their products are also competitively priced, so you don't need to worry like with other agencies of creeping costs annually. Highly recommend them.

Negative experience: By far worst branch I have ever been in. Not a very busy day, no one was around at all. Receptionist is very incompetent and didn't know anything.. Yet I waited over 20 mins after checking in.. I will advice members to stay away from this branch.
