Fantastic experience: Very relaxing and quiet. Mere steps to the river or beach. Clean rooms with modern amenities.

Fantastic experience: Stunning beach, great rooms and the kindest staff.

Negative experience: A couple stars because of the great views and dog-friendly accommodations. Low rating overall because of total lack of communication and availability of property manager. If you're a light sleeper, do not choose unit 1. It shares a wall with the housekeeping room and the large water heater is bolted to the wall that shares the head of the bed, so in the middle of the night when the electric water heater kicks on, it loudly vibrates the whole wall. This kept us up from 10:30p-11:15p. Then it again woke us up and kept us awake from 3a-4:45a. We could have called the after-hours maintenance number to talk with someone, sure, but there's a bold instruction in the room binder that says if we do call, we'll pay a $100 service charge... Also, there was no staff on site during the day, so no one to talk to about the people smoking on their patios upwind from us (which is mentioned as a no-no in the rules), so we had to go inside instead of enjoy our own patio while selfish people broke the rules. Not sure if we'll be back, but if you are a light sleeper and prefer not to inhale second-hand smoke since no one enforces the property rules, it's probably best to stay in building C....just our $0.02.

Fantastic experience: A beautiful dreamy stay! The location is amazing and the staff are genuine and kind. The rooms are like-new, clean, cozy, and updated with charming little nautical touches. The kitchen is thoroughly stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the grounds are family friendly, with bonfire area, sandboxes and toys, and games. The view is absolutely amazing, and the ocean is steps away. Perfect getaway if you need to recharge and unwind.

Negative experience: Went there few times ta get room no cars in parking lot n they told me they were sold out

Fantastic experience: A wonderfully quiet getaway! So much beach for my pups to run, well kept paths to different locations. Not a piece of litter anywhere! Appears everyone picks up after their animals. Unit was comfy and warm. The only suggestion would be perhaps a couple pots pans to cook with. And maybe a baking sheet.

Fantastic experience: No service was needed. The welcome was friendly, and help was offered when needed. - not needed. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Ours had a wheelchair ramp on the porch with the sliding door. The main entry isn't easy if you need help or use a walker. Once in, it's got space to make it wheelchair functional - you'll have to move some furniture. It was very comfortable. No screens, but I didn't notice insects. 'Right on the beach', okay, a short walk up and over a dune rise of 5-8 feet. Couldn't see the water from our 1st floor unit. Upstairs would have a grand view. Once on the beach, plenty of distance to walk with Moclips River swinging around the resort and it's mouth forming the north edge of the property. Went out for sunset every night, each as unique. Tide change is noticeable only between low and high tides with plenty of evidence that its a substantial difference, but leave a wide beach in either case.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this resort and will come back any time. You can hear the beach from any part of the resort and everything you need is a short distance away. The condos are clean and peaceful with a cozy friendly atmosphere. These condos offer the perfect place to cuddle up with a good book or someone you love. Huge plus to being pet friendly! The kitchens are well equipped and there's something so refreshing about being able to settle in and fully relax. We absolutely loved our time here and there are quite a few electric car charging options nearby in Seabrook and on Plugshare for the EV inclined. We'll be back again soon!

Positive experience: Quiet area. Short walk to the beach. You can look at the beach from the room. Clean. Bed firm but comfortable. Bring food. Not much for restaurants except for Seabrook$$$.

Fantastic experience: Love coming to Hi-Tide! Units 36 and 37 have great views and are super cozy. Condos are always very clean. Beach is only a 2-minute walk away! Last time we were there we saw pelicans, which was surprising. Easy access to driving on the beach just a couple minutes down the road. Seabrook is a short drive away as well.

Negative experience: Made reservations online with their new company, there was some sort of glitch that made my reservation for the wrong dates. They even told me their system was having issues and so was their email and still refused to fix my reservation or refund me. I USED to love going to HiTide, never again

Fantastic experience: Condo as described; clean, well furnished, warm and cozy.

Negative experience: I left my jewelry box on accident and called as soon as we got home and I noticed a few hours later. The lady was very rude and dismissive. It was two pairs of gold diamond earring in a box on the bathroom counter next to all of the supplies they refill for the guests there is no way it wasn’t found by the house keeper. She said I don’t need to ask to house keeper because it wasn’t turned in even though I was in tears begging her to look or ask. It’s unexceptionable they just let the house keepers keep whatever they want. It was a very expensive anniversary gift from my husband and they didn’t even pretend to care. I pray no else has a human error and forgets anything at this hotel. Check in was super strange as well, I was told I was 5 min early to check in and my husband was asked what he was doing there while he was parked in the car outside waiting for me to check in. Skip this place if all possible. Owners don’t care about their guests and let house keepers steal.

Negative experience: Not the same since Covid hit. I've been coming to the Hi-Tide Resort for years and sadly will not be returning. Apparently the Hi-Tide changed management and the rates went sky high especially for Friday and weekend stays. Now they charge a cleaning fee and a credit card booking fee which they never did before. The website has become needlessly complex to navigate. Please note: the website indicates a 7-day cancellation but the reservation lady who I spoke to on the phone (Penny) told me the room requires cancellation a month in advance! Furthermore, there was a discrepancy with the optional payment plan...the Hi Tide requires "pay 50% now, pay 50% later," much more than indicated on the website. I strongly recommend to anyone booking a room to verify these facts by calling. Covid has ended a lot of things...experiences that were simple, accessible, friendly and affordable. Unfortunately, the Hi-Tide appears to be another casualty of Covid and corporate greed.

I really enjoyed the River rock trail that leads to a beautiful area of river rock that you can paint and leave them out front of the resort, and all the beautiful sculpture of driftwood that leads to the ocean. I found so many sand dollars on the beach.

Fantastic experience: This place is actually a gem. Ideal for a relaxing vacation, or a family vacation (weather permitting) that is actually family oriented. Also a romantic vacation as it is super out of the way and peaceful and beautiful, regardless of the weather. Clamming as well when in season, has a cleaning station and everything.

Fantastic experience: Well appointed dog friendly condos with fireplace & full kitchen. Every condo has an ocean view. We come here every year and just love it. Eagle, river otter, beach combing, sunsets, beach fires, warm lovely home to return to. Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. Love this place!!

Positive experience: The scenery and setting was beautiful. The unit we stayed in, 14, was a little dated. The bed was comfortable to me, but a little soft for my husband. The sleeper sofa was a comfortable Lazy Boy. The kitchen had all the necessary accoutrements. The sanitizing and safety measures were very good. The view was spectacular.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Hi-Tide, off and on, for 20+ years. Always enjoy our time there. Every room has a view of the ocean and some of the river. The river is a great place to clean off the salt from the ocean and to find that special rock. The rocks you get to paint to record your stay.

Positive experience: we booked almost a year ahead of time and were promised a AAA discount and it said it on the website, only to be told flat out they would not honor it. We also referred my in laws which was supposed to give a discount and they also denied that. With all the money they make, they we so rude about less than $100. It was pretty lame. The place is beautiful and well kept. Unfortunately they have lost life long patrons over a lousy couple hundred dollar's. Darn.

Fantastic experience: We stayed in 24. (I'm pretty sure it was 24? ) I could not imagine a more perfect place to be. So peaceful. So artistically inspiring. The mood of the decor was amazing. It was so me. Whoever designed the interior of 24 is awesome!!! I visited here when I was a little girl and though my parents stayed lots of times, I haven't been back till now, 20 years later. The place remembered me and loves me . I love it. Sad to leave. But so happy to have stayed! SO happy

Fantastic experience: Right on the beach, dogs allowed and yet the rooms were spotless. This was a fantastic stay. The only con I could give is that the neighbors woke us up with their TV blasting. Other than that, we will definitely be staying again. Jerry and the other staff are extremely helpful. The clam station with auxiliary dog wash station and towels was yet another nice touch. The amenities are well thought out and you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at Hi Tide

Positive experience: Our room is outdated. The tub/shower is stained. There is not any screen on our bedroom window. Carpet is dirty. When i arrived, the kitchen counter was sticky. That being said, the location is amazing! Grounds well taken care of.

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for over 15 years. Love the quiet privacy. Always welcomed our dogs who are our children. Each unit is furnished differently and always nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Grounds are well maintained. Love to walk beach first thing in the mornings. Have even seen our decorated rocks left behind each trip. Our favorite "get away". Home away from home.

Positive experience: One of the best beaches in Washington and decent place to stay for family get away. New front desk person used the line " I'm new here" way too many times and was the only guy there. Not really helpful for those needing assistance but otherwise a great experience.

Positive experience: Great getaway with friends, spouse or whole family. Love that the beach is right there and it is tucked away. I love that it is more rustic yet still very comfortable and relaxing. Price is totally affordable any season. Also love that the "fun" is simply getting out to the beach and the river. All the amenities aren't necessary, just step out your door and onto the beach!

Fantastic experience: I love this place this one is my favorite plaxe to stop when we go to the beach. We havent stayed here yet but for are 1st anniversary were staying here. Theres a private beach and its so quiet and peaceful. The walk through the trees to get to it is just amazing. I never want to leave this place. The staff are friendly and the place is very well kept up. They take pride in this lovely place.

Negative experience: My family has been staying at the Hi-Tide resort for over 35 years. Nearly every August. Over the last 5 years we have started to notice slowly deteriorating conditions. We usually stay in unit 6, but our family typically rents 3-4 units every year. This year our condo was not cleaned adequately, 1 out of three light bulbs worked in the bathroom fixture, the bathtub is stained from years of sand, the slider door had so much sand in it the kids cant open it on their own, the decks are warped and uneven, the patio light fixture was dangling from the wires and not attached (Unit 4) and the recliner chairs are falling apart. We have been willing to overlook this due to the fantastic location and fond memories as well as the reasonable cost. This year for my family of 4 we paid roughly $1500 for 8 nights, they used to give you 1 free night if you booked a week. When I went to book again next summer for the same room and dates, the prices have gone up significantly. It is now $3100 for 8 nights. I understand prices change but we can no longer overlook the shortcomings for a %100 increase in cost. Hopefully they are using the funds to improve the condos so that the price is justified, but for now we are looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved this place. I rented a one bedroom condo #6 that was very clean, beautifully decorated and had partial view of ocean and river which was cozy with a log burning in the fireplace. Rates are very resonable, less than other full suites or condos that are below standards! My 14 year old son is very picky and has high standards and said this is the best place we've been so far and he's been on countless trips! He even left a tip he was so pleased. Office staff very friendly and accommodating. Grounds also clean and landscaped. I will most definitely be returning. I just wish I had known about this place previously!

Fantastic experience: Traveling with 3 kids ages 5, 3, and 10mo we all enjoyed our stay. The view was beatiful. Kitchen was fully stocked so we could stay in and cook a couple meals to save some money. A pack and play was provided. After playing in the sand hoses are conveniently located to hose off your feet and shoes. There aren't any elevators which isn't a big deal, unless in my case we had a lot to unload from the car and a 1st story room would have made that a little easier.

Fantastic experience: It was such a great stay at the resort. Absolutely beautiful location right on the beach which made for great walks to the ocean. The room was a great size and came with a wood log to start a fire in the fireplace. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Negative experience: I wish I could give a real review but the resort refused to honor my reservation and refused to answer my questions why. Horrible customer service and management.

Fantastic experience: We visited Hi-Tide as recommended by the North Beach Museum curator, never expecting the wonderous scenery that we would find. This is a truly majestic view of rivers and forests, oceans and dunes. Wow!
