Negative experience: Do yourself a favor and do what I did. Switch to Good Sam Roadside. The employees here will argue with you that everything is easy to do on the app or website and then demonstrate an inability to navigate it themselves. They take no accountability as an organization (not specific to this branch but also not not specific to this branch. half corporate half their possible remediation chosen to deny) They validate your errors were not your own that prevented you from using the service, but you still have to pay for the service you couldn't utilize for months even if you cancel. Prorated despite their company's failings. Thankfully all conversations and calls were recorded because I have brain damage and people love to take advantage. They were totally willing to sale me more things tho... Or help me upgrade... Just not give me back my money.

Fantastic experience: Jose is awesome! He helped me quickly when I needed the job done asap! He is great at what he does and was very kind!

Negative experience: I love the company but hate this location , Everytime I go they are rude to me . The front desk lady is more nicer to a homeless man who's smells awful then to be nice and better assist me then try to say I have to go back anyways to do it . No lady I can cancel my service and never return there. The only one who has got my attention was Tracey she know how to deal with customer service.

Negative experience: Been to this location twice. They do everything not to help you. I Hate AAA they are horrible and have lost there original vision of being of service. I am fast finding out from friends they way overcharged for car insurance. AllState I'm coming and bringing my entire family's accounts and advising my extremely large social base to boycott the hell out of this place .. AAA are a bunch of Donkey Punchers !!!!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in to the next moment with Mallory, I was 100% taken care of. What an easy, stress free, pleasant experience for an out of state Vehicle registration. I was going to go to the DMV but the front desk instant recognized they could perform the service for me and they were 100% right and made it easy. Thank you all!

Negative experience: Unprofessional staff and office, not friendly

Negative experience: Was ripped off by Jesus and jessica was sappose to get a refund of 1812 dollars after falsely being signed up for insurance which would be canceled 2 weeks later now they refuse to answer or return calls or emails stating 72 hours I would have my full return. At 144 hours currently that makes 96 business hours without any communication in 48 hours, even from the office its self avoid them and this office at all cost.

Fantastic experience: Triple AAA is the gift that keeps on giving! Travel advice/planning, insurance and DMV services without the DMV wait?! Yes please! This particular location has been my go to for over a decade. The staff remains polite, professional and efficient. They are exceptionally prepared to expertly assist whatever your need may be. The office itself is spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable for the brief wait you might experience. Let me highlight - little to no wait for exceptional service?! Beyond the obvious roadside assistance … AAA is SO much more!

Negative experience: Insurance agent was friendly to take my first month payment. Said I would hear back from him in the next 24-78 hours. Well I never heard back from anyone. A week later I reached out and he said that the company decided to decline my application. Thanks for not letting me know... When I asked if I could get my down payment back again I never heard back. Look for insurance elsewhere

Negative experience: The female that I was talking to on the phone left me on hold for a long time, then hung up, then I called again and she answered, once she heard my voice she hung up again, never calling this office again.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would but system does not allow. My wife and I booked a trip Thru travel services with an agent named Rafael at Irvine office. The first thing that occurred was our flight was completely changed - so our seats with our younger kids were all over the place on plane. This is something that AAA agents are notified about. Agent just said - the time has changed but misinformed us - the entire flight changed as well as seats . Also , we both sat in front of him for couple hours during initial reservation and I asked him several times if there were any other fees I needed to know other than taxes . Agent said no, and failed to explain cleaning fee and other fee associated with condo we stayed at . I am a very busy person normally and I admit to sometimes not reading thru but also very upset that this agent after repeatedly asking him said there were no other fees . I attempted to contact him and basically he said , oh well your problem for not reading. This is not our 1st time booking a trip Thru AAA but not at the irvine office. I will never use this office ever again. I spoke to supervisor and she looked into it and apologized but basically did nothing .

Positive experience: This location didn’t show on the AAA website when I searched my Irvine zip code. But Google said they were close to me and open. I went in for my international driver’s license in June 2023. But they said this location doesn’t do that. She told me to go to Laguna Hills and that they require an appointment. I called Tustin and they said they do it as well and don’t require an appointment and they were closer.

Fantastic experience: I was a AAA member for a long time. I used the car insurance (one of the best) and the roadside assistance. I was out of the country for an extended period of time during covid, i came back and went to renew my membership. I left with a great deal for my car insurance (switched from Geico - horrible experience with them), apt rental insurance (better deal than Lemonade - one of the best in the country, unfortunately they don't offer yet car insurance in California). The agent spent a lot of time to help me out. Really pleased. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I was there for an international driving permit service and found out AAA also do passport photos for only $8 bucks!!! That's half the price of anywhere else. Got my IDP the same day. I have been an AAA for decades and never knew they provided special services for their members all these years, especially DMV services.

Fantastic experience: Gabby and Raphael are AWESOME!! Nothing in life is easy, and nothing ever goes according to plan. They booked a flight, rental car, and hotel for me, and I realized that flying into a small town in Wyoming wasn't the easiest thing to do. They got me my flight, hotel (five star) and rent a car. They never stopped working until everything was done!♥️♥️ Monea helped me over the phone as well! This wonderful caring group of people deserve five stars for total awesomeness!! Everyone in the office bends over backwards to help us. A++++++❤️

Thank you Today April, 2023 I have been back to this office many times and none of my issues were resolved. I was lucky to work with Nathan Kwan, not only my wrong chart in my bill was corrected, he took care things smoothly. Thank you so much Nathan. Fantastic experience: If you have an old beater, get an Auto Club membership! It will pay for itself many times over. With my membership, I was able to bypass the nightmarish DMV office experience and got my registration problems taken care of, in quick, air conditioned comfort at this Auto Club location!

Negative experience: Had an issue that front staff thought required a manager. Manager was unmasked, and refused to wear a mask when asked to. Walked me to his desk, where he still did not wear a mask. Filing formal complaint with regional manager and office.

Fantastic experience: Got crashed on 5 freeway. Chippies were kind enough to call. 9 tow trucks later I got picked up. No real issues, was late to game making call. Driver was cool, dripped car near house and gave me a ride.

Positive experience: Great that they offered notary services but needed a copy made first due to a correction. But they wouldn't make copy or let us use their copy service? Whaaaat? Had to go home make copies and return. So what should have been a 15 or 20 min service ended up an hour or more.

Negative experience: I am a recent AAA member and I went in to the Irvine branch to use DMV service in order to get my personalized plates they took 100 dollars the fee from me made me wait 3 months got a postcard saying it was ready then 3 months later I walk in to the Irvine branch and this female associate Rana Persian attends to me. She refused to give me my license plates I called for the manager a female named Madison came both people were just strong arming me it was ridiculous I asked for regional manager number they gave me a manager at there call center whom all he did was listen to my complaint. Now I am disabled it was a horrible experience they can take my money but can't issue me the requested license plates. Disgusting AAA has no protocol other than harassment, and aggressive behavior. If you are considering getting AAA don't. They are an awful service that tries to give you support by telling you to reset your computer and troubleshoot you like a useless tech support operator. I had a horrible experience my blood still boils to remember that moment. Still no plates.

Positive experience: The wait was crazy. Vehicle registration renewal took an hour. Came to this location thinking it would be faster than the location in Costa Mesa. Never again. The staff was very friendly but prefer Tustin or Costa Mesa location

Negative experience: I arrived during my lunch break to renew my registration. Normally a 15-20 minute process at AAA. I was told wait was around 20 mins and there was one person doing the DMV. I understand. I waited over an hour, and was late to return to work. When I was helped it only took 3 minutes to renew and receive the tags. I'm disappointed in the organizational skills of this office as they didn't make an attempt to help customers with "easier" transactions out the door while being held up by people who apparently had every possible thing go wrong.

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience(2nd time) with same agent Tracy Ngo. 1st time a year ago . Unfortunately, she's the only one processing DMV renewals, so I had to deal with her again today. Not only was she awfully rude again and condescending but lost my paperwork with all my information on it(complete name, previous address, current address, PO. Box information, date of birth, Driver's licence number, car information) so I'm now concerned about identity theft as well. I addressed my concern with a manager at the office who was nice and professional, but, unfortunately he couldn't find my paperwork anywhere. I was going to suggest that she gets better training, however, after thinking about it, I realized this won't help her. Training cannot change rudeness, condescending manners nor carelessness.

Negative experience: AAA has assume really incompetent locations. This one takes the cake. I checked in with the manager about plates and DMV services. I asked whether the plates could be delivered and picked upbat another AAA location. She said yes. After waiting 45 minutes.... i was told she had no idea what the mail code for the other office was so i left empty handed. Terrible training. Terrible preparation for service. Terrible care and concern for customer time. worse than DMV

Positive experience: Long queues on Saturday with just 2 insurance advisers. Was told that was one of their better dates, but need to check on weekdays too. Overall service was good

Fantastic experience: I love the AAA offices! So convenient, you can actually pay for your expired car registration here, plan a trip, get maps, and so much more. And the people are really great...very competent to handle whatever problem you've got with a smile.. If you own money to the DMV, be sure to bring a checkbook or cash. If you forget both, there's a Bank of America just a few doors down you can use their ATM. Have fun :)
