Fantastic experience: Exceptional Service at AAA Car Care on Airport Highway – A 5-Star Experience! I cannot say enough good things about my recent experience at AAA Car Care on Airport Highway in Toledo, Ohio. From start to finish, the level of professionalism, courtesy, and expertise displayed by the team was truly outstanding. As someone who travels frequently for both work and ministry, I have visited countless auto shops across the country, and I can confidently say that this was the best service I have ever received. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Tim at the front desk, who immediately set the tone for a stress-free and professional experience. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that everything was handled smoothly. His customer service skills are truly top-notch, and he went above and beyond to make me feel valued as a customer. Then came Don, the mechanic, who was equally phenomenal. He took the time to thoroughly explain the issues with my vehicle in a way that was easy to understand—no confusing jargon or rushed explanations. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and transparent about the necessary repairs, ensuring I was well-informed and comfortable with every step of the process. Negative experience: You are scammer's with Shitty ass service and they don't even tell you that you have to wait 10 days for the 100 miles plan goes into effect and no I won't take my review or post down because the place I was talking about does have roadside assistance service's I double check research and facts so don't bullshit me

Negative experience: Took my Ford Ranger there for a oil change and tire rotation. Two weeks later one on the tires fell off while driving down the road. They fail to torque down all of the lugs on a rear tire. Shoddy work avoid at all costs. I have attached photos of the damage after my got truck home. I managed to get the tire back on the vehicle before AAA road service arrived. They are pretty slow too!

Negative experience: One of their tow truck drivers drove directly into my parked vehicle in the back of a parking lot. Pushed a car with the emergency brake engaged 20 feet before he realized what he was doing. Employee said my vehicle “came out of nowhere”. Sir, it was parked, you were clearly texting and driving. Not to mention driving dangerously fast in a parking lot. Now their insurance is trying to lowball me on my vehicles value. Absolute joke of a company.

Negative experience: Customer service was awful. The guy that called me about my car repair talked down to me and acted like he was way above me. I immediately put an end to it and let him know my husband would be calling and he could talk to my husband about the car. I got an immediate attitude as soon as I said that. I also reviewed the vehicle condition report I was emailed and found so much inaccurate information. They put that my horn was In good condition, but it hasn't worked in 2 years. They said my windshield was fine, but it is definitely cracked. It really just shows me that my car was not even looked at properly. They also tried to get me to pay for repairs that have recently been done to my vehicle at another shop. Overall, I will NEVER go back to this location. I 100% plan on taking my car for a second opinion on the things that were recently fixed, and to make sure the work I asked to be done was actually done after reading other reviews on here.

Negative experience: AAA ROADSIDE Edit: A case manager from AAA reached out and offered $100 towards my renewal. Still, beware. The actual AAA drivers and dispatch, not the companies they hire are incredibly incompetent. In a post Covid world, 2024, do people just not care about anything anymore or are we breeding an age of incompetency? Had a doctor appointment this morning at Toledo Hospital. Came out at 10:30am to valet saying that the Jeep wouldn't start. Went down and sure enough, nothing. At 11:00 am Made a AAA request on the app for roadside. After 45 mins it said they were here. They weren't. I called and gave them my phone number for the driver. It's a Michigan number so area code is 734. They even read it back, ensuring they had the correct number. They said "actually, the driver has an est arrival of 12:04." Okay no problem, Please have them call me. No call ever received. Called back at 12:11. AAA said the number they had given the driver started with 473 NOT 734. So they sent a driver to the wrong location AND gave him the wrong number. So what did AAA do? They cancelled the tow/service call. All they had to do was make a few clicks on the computer to make sure they had the number right. But why would they do that? It just makes too much sense. So, they dispatch another vehicle to the CORRECT location and take my number down. After giving them the height clearance of the garage, my exact location and everything I get a call from the AAA tow driver Tony saying that he's not gonna be able to get down there because his truck, a flat bed, is too big!!! Instead, he wants to try jumping it with a jump pack. I tell him it's more than likely the starter but he insists. He gets here and of course, it's the starter. He calls AAA, twice, the calls get dropped. Finally he gets through and gets a wrecker "ALLEGEDLY" dispatched. Well, over an hour later and I'm still here. Almost 4 hours now. I texted Tony the AAA driver that came out and asked if he had any updates on that wrecker. He said "im off work now it's out of my hands, sorry for the inconvenience." WHAT Thanks for nothing, Tony. At 2pm I call AAA again. They put me through to an "advocate" who puts me on hold for 20 mins. Comes back on the line and says "they're looking for a truck to get you." I said "what do you mean looking, as in, they haven't sent someone out yet?" He said "No, most places don't have wheel lifts and the ones that do, the drivers are off work." I asked "how long do I have to wait now?" His response "I don't know, we're looking for a driver...." thanks AAA. What the hell is the point of paying an annual or monthly fee for roadside service if you don't get any roadside service? AAA has got to be the biggest scam in the "service" providing world I have ever seen. I finally get towed out at 3:00 PM. FOUR HOURS after the original request for service went out. Big thank you to DAN AT PJS TOWING. He made me laugh the whole way to the shop. Great guy and will be using them for my tows from now on.

Negative experience: Today on Jan. 4th 2024 @10:15am-10:45am I came into the shop thinking I had an appointment set up at this location but it was another. The guy said he still could help me but wasn't being very talkative and I got racist vibes from him. I'd ask him questions and he wouldn't respond just stare and I told him I needed an oil change he threw a piece of paper on the table and told me to sign and I felt disrespected And left... The facility doesn't have no type of diversity and it's truly a shame that in 2024 we still deal with racism never coming back to that one I rescheduled an appointment for a better location and they actually helped me and encouraged me to bring it back whenever I needed fixing

Fantastic experience: They did a great job repairing my Ram. I had severely let some maintenance go due to life and family issues being crazy for the last year and it finally caught up to me. They were fair and went out of their way to help me and get my truck running smoothly again. They are honest and being a AAA member has a lot of perks from free diagnosis to a % off on labor.

Fantastic experience: I hope this is Greg’s store. I wish I could give 10 ⭐️‘S my car was “stuck” park for a week. Both of my preferred shops were booked up up and finding a mobile mechanic who can service a Mercedes is impossible (take my word for it) Greg came out and and showed me a magic button that gets the car out of park which allowed him to tow it and take it to get Serviced. He’s Professinal, Patient, Very understanding! He was also quick! I am Pleased! I was so overwhelmed and stressed his attitude changed that. Greg (Young, olive skin tone, glasses, tall) is the epitome of Good Customer Service!

Negative experience: Went to get my brakes fixed but I felt like they were not done correctly as they felt and sounded the same as when I brought them in. Went to have them relook at it and was told I was missing a wheel lock so I needed to bring that or they couldn’t check my brakes. They were wrong and a wheel lock wasn’t needed initially when I first dropped off my car and it wasn’t needed to recheck. They came around to the same conclusion and confirmed it wasn’t needed but found nothing wrong. Not satisfied with the customer service here. He had a bunch of excuses that I had to push back on to get anywhere. He was fine with saying they couldn’t recheck and sending me on my way.

Negative experience: I took my car there because the transmission was failing. I knew it was. They kept it a few hours, then called and told me they couldn't find anything wrong. 2 days later my car gets stuck in second gear with my kid and my dog in the car. 2 starts because we didn't get charged, but still, could have killed someone.

Negative experience: This is now the second time AAA Toledo has left me stranded for hours and hours!! Last time I broke down at 10pm and they said they'd be there by midnight. Called at 12:30am they didn't even have record of the call. Said they'd be right there, well 1:45am rolled around and I gave up. Had to leave my car in the center of the freeway and pay a real tow company $100 later once the sun came up. This time broke down at 5:45pm, they said they'd be there by 8:30pm... 2 HOURS later which is already ridiculous! It's now 10:45pm and still nothing!! They are terrible!! AAA is useless and I will be telling everyone I know about what a horrible company AAA has become!!!

Positive experience: People are nice and try to help - just overall disappointed with AAA these days. Membership keeps going up despite services going down. If it wasn't for roadside assistance, I would have kicked them to the curb a long time ago.

Jamie was able to fit my vehicle in for diagnostic procedures and Dave gave me a full report within an hour. They did not oversell me on something that I didn’t need. High integrity is always appreciated but seldom seen. We’ll done AAA!

Negative experience: AAA Tire & Auto Toledo OH. My daughter had her car towed in due to a no start. It was a faulty starter and living 2500 miles away had her get a oill change and tire rotation. A week later I'm in town visiting and look car over. I've professionally worked on cars since the mid 80s ASE Master technician. So upon opening hood the positive cable on battery has green death that was never cleaned. The coolant reservoir was at add mark as was the power steering fluid. I called and was getting the run around of free diagnosis which is incorrect we're AAA premium members and it comes with that at a AAA store. They said to come down and they'd take care of it and I declined saying I'll do it since they told me on a 600.00 dollar service topping off fluids isn't part of service. I did say that I'm going to hammer them every time I have a chance. The assistant manager and manager wanted to argue with a customer. So personally after working on cars for a living and always having the customer concerns first and foremost I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AND ADVISE TO GO ELSEWHERE.

Fantastic experience: I called for a tow this morning and the driver that came was Shervon. He literally arrived to my destination within 30-40 minutes of me placing my request had my car up on the flatbed truck secure and ready to deliver to the mechanic in about 5 minutes. I was very impressed and satisfied with the quality and speed of the service due to me having to be at work within 40-45 minutes after his arrival. This is actually the second encounter I had with him showing up to assist me with my car issues. A year ago one of my tires was flat on my SUV and he was able to get it changed within 15 minutes even though he had to struggle with getting my spare tire unhooked from a rusted metal belt holding my spare in place under the SUV. He literally laid on a cold ground and fought with the rusted bolts just so I could get my child to daycare and I get to work ASAP. He has been one of the fastest most experienced and extremely kind tow truck drivers I had from AAA. His Service and Performance displays true compassion for his job and shows that AAA hires people that provide quality services to it's clients that would make them want to continue to purchase yearly memberships. I want to say thank you I greatly appreciate the service that has been provided.

Negative experience: Charged a family member 300$ to repair her tire sensors. Family member left with TPMS light still on and was given a line about “drive it and see if it goes off”. This a cop-out because they couldn’t properly repair her car. I’m a 20yr ASE MASTER TECH and the family member took the car to this location because it’s closer to her house than I am. Talked to the counter person who said that their “master tech” said she needs to go to the dealer because they are not equipped to repair her tire light. This is another cop-out. They charged her and never fixed the problem. Needless to say, I am now handling it on my own because this location can’t properly fix a customers car and took her money and the car is still having the same problem. A master tech should have the tools to properly do their job or they need to find a different profession. I will use my own tools to repair her vehicle. Avoid this location as they are not properly equipped to fix a vehicle according to the counter person.

Fantastic experience: I went to the travel agent so I'm not rating the auto shop. The travel agents are fantastic whether you're planning to fly, drive or cruise.

Negative experience: So I was going to have my car towed to a shop but was told with my membership I can get a free diagnostic from triple a. Well they ended up telling me a lot of stuff which totaled $6,xxxx. Of course I did not have that so I wanted to have my car towed to the shop it was supposed to go to. I was told it would be free, then they said it would be convenience fee of $75- $100. I went back and forth with they guy. So I ended up just going to get the car myself and on the way home things were falling off under my car. I’m not a mechanic so I don’t know what the parts are but I did not have this problem before and I feel like they purposely left stuff loose because I didn’t want to get my vehicle fixed there or pay their “convenience fee”. I will NEVER EVER go back there !!

Fantastic experience: I needed to get a document notarized and every bank that I contacted told me it would be a 1 week wait to get in. Even the banks that I have been using for years. I got right in at the AAA office and got my business taken care of by friendly people who are more than willing to help. Gail was great to work with!
