TurnKey Vacation Rentals - Palm Springs: Reviews
Positive experience: We used Turnkey to manage our Palm Springs vacation rental for 14 months. As management companies go, they are average--not horrible, but not great. Our tenants, as far as we know, didn't complain about the cleanliness or condition of our condo. Our biggest complaint with them was the frequent turnover of local employees and consequently the difficulty of getting people to take care of our concerns because the person was someone new--and we were never informed that our main contact person was being replaced. It's a huge company, and we had to deal not only with local staff, but with business persons in Texas (there were errors on our monthly statements almost every month). Some things the sales person told me turned out not to be the case--but I was told it was a misunderstanding. We also disliked some of the company policies: 1) very poor cancellation policy and leaving customers high and dry during emergencies that required cancelations such as COVID and wild fires. Even if we chose to refund our part of the money, they would not permit us to do it. 2). They do not charge a security deposit, but rather we were required to pay for damage insurance for each day our unit was rented--somewhere around $20/night. However, when they booked a tenant who caused significant damage to our property, we were told that most damage is considered regular wear and tear. The Turnkey person agreed that this damage went beyond that and had me send information for reimbursement, saying that there wasn't a system for filing insurance claims--WHAT??? an insurance company with no claims system? He said he would see that we were reimbursed, but nothing ever happened. Sometime after that, our contract with them ended, and when I inquired about the money to cover the damages, no one ever responded to any of my inquiries. 3) They removed our front door knob and lock to install their electronic lock--assuring us that should we quit working with them, they would return it all as before, but while they did put the knob back on, it doesn't fit--it's loose and wobbles around. It appears they drilled a larger hole in the door in order to install their lock. 5) they would never tell us anything about the persons staying in our property (a privacy issue they said)--and the ones who did the damage were there for almost 3 months. We had no idea even how many people were staying. 6) Like all management companies,. they take care of small maintenance issues, and the charges for these items can be quite high. After dropping Turnkey, we went with a longer term rental program which doesn't require a city license, and thus no 24/7 management company, and which also allows us to manage our property ourselves. We hired a cleaning company and a handyman to take care of maintenance issues. We are much happier knowing who is staying in our place and we don't pay anyone a commission. If you must have a management company, I'm sure there are worse than Turnkey, but if you can, do it on your own. If we were in a position in which we had to hire a company again, we would pay more and go with a smaller, local company.
Negative experience: We rented a place with a pool that was supposed to be heated. When we got there, the pool was broken so we reached out about getting it fixed. I then had to spend the rest of my vacation talking back and forth between 3 different folks about it not working. They over communicate and under perform, and that was the case for booking the place and staying there. I would not recommend turnkey to anyone

Fantastic experience: We traveled from Pennsylvania to Palm Springs for Christmas. The home was stunning and even though it was a community it felt like our own private oasis. If we return to Palm Springs, I would hope to stay there again. It was truly perfect!
Fantastic experience: Everything went fine ,Condo had everything needed. Only problem was gate code really never worked from day 1 . So lucky I asked for a card to replace the input code.
Negative experience: Recently rented a vacation house 108 San Patricia in San Clemente - the hose was beautiful - the cleaning and the way the home was handed over was an abomination. We called turnKey MAnagement several times to notify them of the cleaning issues - the regional manager was on vacation- and the manager who was supposed to remedy our complaints and credit our cleaning fee - considering we had to scrub the house from the ground up due to the poorest cleanliness standards - and yet to receive a credit promised for the $400 cleaning fee charged is really awful !! Bring your own cleaning supplies , toilet paper and paper towels - You are own with TurnKey. Still waiting for a call back . Worst customer service EVER ! look elsewhere for oC rental - but if you It’s - they have coupon codes and you don’t have to go through VRBO - Save 20% - of which you should save to get the house cleaned ! Cause it is filthy when you get there !

Positive experience: We enjoyed our time at Turnkey's beautiful old home in the historic Movie Colony district near downtown Palm Springs. There were a few problems, but everything was resolved by the professionals at Turnkey. However, there was one minor issue that I had to report twice, as I received no response from management staff after my first complaint. Fortunately, the issue was eventually resolved; unfortunately it took two days to do so.

Fantastic experience: We decided to go with TurnKey instead of Air BbB and it was a great decision. Mostly because of the customer service. I was able to reach a Turnkey representative within 5 minutes of calling most of the time. I also had a few plan changes and switched my reservation, which they did graciously and without extra fees. That would be impossible with Air BnB! The house itself was beautiful, very well stocked it had everything that we needed. Great experience !

Positive experience: Just a couple hiccups in the beginning. We were texted the door code several times and each time the code was different which could be confusing for some. Then when we arrived after driving for 8hrs the temp was 118 upon arrival and the gate did not have a reservation for us. So while you sorted out our reservation that we clearly had cause we got several texts with the door code we sat in 118 had to leave the car running for AC for 45mins. Not ideal first impression but finally was sorted out and away we went. The rental had AC issues but not as bad as other friends in the resort and we woke up to thousands of ants in the kitchen the first morning and no food was left out! Resort over all was very nice and clean. Will we be back to Palm Springs probably not but all the best to those who do venture there.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with the property and the host management! The home was big, great features and amenities for two families with dogs. The pool with rock slide and game room kept the kids engaged and occupied, the movie theme throughout the home was fun. Host was very responsive and made favorable adjustments to our stay. The gas grill didn't work, but they were great about sending someone out the next day to fix it. Overall it was a nice stay, we'd come back!
Negative experience: Ants infestation all over cabin, especially Kitchen and Bathroom. I had a very hard time trying to communicate with Turnkey for a resolution. Unfriendley and unhelpful customer service as well as unreasonable policies and procedures. Turnkey was unwilling to refund me for the remainder of the days that I was not going to stay. My stay was for 4 nights, I requested to leave the next day after mu arrival and be refunded for the remaining days that I did not stay. Their company policy was backwards where they would refund me only for the days that I “endured” the ants infestation. So rather than allowing me to leave the property and refund me, their logic was for me to stay and endure the issue so that they can refund me for the inconvience I would have experienced. I finally ended up working hours over the with Airbnb to receive a full refund and left the premises after the first night. I will be posting pictures of the ants on Google and Yelp. I will never again rent from Turnkey.

Fantastic experience: We spent a perfect few days at this Turnkey property in Palm Springs. It was exactly as advertised and spotless upon our arrival. The instructions were thorough and clear. We had a minor issue with pool/spa, but someone arrived to take care of it within a couple of hours of reporting. We would definitely return to a Turnkey Property in the future. Great place and very good customer service (though we did have to leave a message instead of speak with a person, but it all worked out).
Fantastic experience: This was a wonderful place my friends and I stayed at for a bachlorette party weekend. It was very clean and the pool was lovely. Any question I had was quickly answered. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat if I'm ever back at Palm Springs!!
Positive experience: The renting process was very easy and the customer service was amazing!! The house is very nice and clean. There are some out of date features/ ran down items but all around a very nice place to stay and enjoy the weekend.

Negative experience: I had a booking for Palm Springs for my birthday weekend to spend with all my friends. 6 days before that trip, my brother-in-law passed away suddenly. I notified Turnkey the next day over text that I would not be able to go anymore as I had to fly back to the East Coast to support my sister immediately and a representative said that I could modify the dates. I requested a few but those dates were already booked. The rep stated to me that I could reach back out and let them know what dates work for me. 2 days later I got a text about my booking, making it clear they had not canceled it, even though I stated clearly I wouldn’t make it. Then the person I texted with at that time said they would not honor the modification and they couldn’t refund any of my money because it was 24 hours before I was set to arrive (not honoring the fact I had reached out to them prior to the 24 hours as well). I don’t think I deserve all my money back as I know they likely lost those dates, but I would have expected either a portion of it OR to modify to a different date. Unless you can guarantee everything in your life will work out perfectly, I wouldn’t book through this company.

Fantastic experience: Turnkey provided an exceptional vacation home for us during our stay. The amenities included felt better than a hotel! Check in and check out was a breeze and all of our questions were already answered in Turnkey’s documentation. They were also quick to respond with our questions, usually answering within 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: I found the TurnKey team to be very helpful and responsive. We a couple of reasons to contact them and we got a real person on the phone quickly who resolved our minor issues and followed up promptly. A good customer service experience.
Negative experience: This company cares about one thing collecting their money and not providing any customer service. TVs that don’t work, hot tub that’s doesn’t work, unresponsive to multiple calls. Everyone is just so surprised. We asked for an late check out and they won’t even check to see if it’s possible. Trash. Book anywhere but here.

Fantastic experience: TurnKey was almost immediately responsive to a minor concern about the property we stayed in. They were also considerate and asked if the issue could wait until after our visit or needed to be addressed immediately. No complaints at all.

Negative experience: Do not work this company. They sent me a rental agreement after I had already committed to a rental and I couldn’t meet the guidelines. I let them know within 24 hours and they wouldn’t give me back $1,400. Worst customer service.

Positive experience: My friends and I rented a house in Palm Springs that we found through VRBO and the property was managed by Turnkey Rentals. The whole process was seamless and without hassle. The house itself was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood isn't the nicest in the valley, but it wasn't bad in any way...and a lot of the neighborhoods have passed regulations that you can't play music so loud that your neighbor can hear it. Just FYI. The house was great, however, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cost effective lodging option in the area....
Negative experience: I have a few issues with my rental. First of all, the exterior photos of the house listing were not accurate. The grass was dead, the furniture was falling apart and it was extremely dirty. In addition, the pool was cold. For a 4pm check in time, I expect the pool to be warm and the outdoor area to be clean since most of the day is wasted by having such a late check in time. No one came to look at the pool until 24 hours later after check in. The interior of the home was clean but they didn’t have enough trash bags. Very disappointed. I’ve never had such bad luck in Palm Springs with a house rental.

Fantastic experience: House was extremely clean and Turnkey was very responsive when we contacted them.
Negative experience: HOME OWNERS MUST READ! UPDATE 11/5/20 BASED ON TURNKEY REPLY: Looks like they are playing games and trying to use their PR person to negate my review. The facts are the facts and I have all the emails to back up my claims. The issue with the incorrect nightly rate was a very big issue in its own. So let’s dig a little deeper into that one. Turnkey kept trying to deny the booking was an error. They tried and tried to keep the booking and that’s when the Big shots called me the day of check in to try one more time. They tried to scare me into honoring the booking by telling me the guest will file a law suit and law suits are expensive for everyone. This kind of bullying tactics probably work on most but what they learned at the end of our conversation was that my wife is an attorney and we are very, Very, well represented by the top law firms throughout California who are friends and family. As soon as my wife sent a courtesy email putting them on notice that we will counter sue should we be named in any lawsuit regarding this booking, they immediately replied saying no worries you will not be named, we will take care of everything. After countless of hours wasted of my time back and forth trying to help them with a mistake that was theirs and 100% not mine. Again I had to spell out for them how they breached their own contract. This is black and white and purely based on facts. The next issue with Insurance is another thing that may not exactly be legal but I couldn’t tell you because they never complied with my request for a copy of their insurance policy required by law as stated in my contract/owner agreement. They kept trying to play games and eventually tried to give me more information on the new TRU policy that owners have to pay for. I was charged a hefty nightly fee for something I don’t believe I needed. I have vacation rental insurance for my home and the Guest pays for their own insurance which covers damage up to a certain value. Also, this new TRU policy was automatically enacted and the only way to opt out was to sign a waiver, waiving questionable rights. This didn’t seem right to me so I simply asked for a copy of their insurance policy so I could review it. They never complied and then after many follow ups they sent me an email with more information regarding the TRU policy. They know I didn’t ask for the TRU policy and I was clear in my follow ups. Again, seems very shady and questionable. Due to this bogus response, I am now filing a complaint with the BBB with all the above mentioned information. Also on an unrelated matter I asked them for a copy of their insurance policy, which is spelled out in the owner agreement as available upon request, to this day they have yet to provide it. This is related to the new insurance coverage they "offer" that home owners have to pay for and if you decline you have to sign a waiver which has questionable terms. Essentially forcing you to waive rights as opposed to actually signing up for additional insurance coverage that you probably shouldn't need. The contract allows them to make changes but it's very shady and it seems they are looking to increase their profits. I asked for a copy of their insurance policy (required by law) so I could review that, my policy and the new additional insurance with my agent. I have all the emails and documents to back up all of my complaints/claims. My advice to all Owners who engaged Turnkey is to pay attention or you are likely losing out on money in many ways. I had a home manager tell me I needed to replace a tv and a garbage disposal but it turns out they weren't qualified to do their job. Luckily for me I'm in the construction industry so I walked the person through how to reset a GFI breaker and how to use an allen key to free up a perfectly operational garbage disposal. This was about a year ago and the same TV and same disposal is working perfectly.

Fantastic experience: Great place to get away! TurnKey makes it really easy to get into property and to check out. This is the second place we have stayed with TurnKey. Honestly, we look for TurnKey places first when booking our trips!
Negative experience: I would never rent a home from TurnKey vactaion rental again. STICK WITH AIRBNB if you are looking into booking with this company. The customer service I have received has been awful. The home we rented had a pool/jacuzzi which is why we chose this home specifically. The pool/jacuzzi is all run from a tablet. The 1st night we were unable to turn the lights on in the pool or warm the jacuzzi, when making TurnKey aware of these issues they let us know someone would contact us. Instead someone just showed up (being a house full of girls we had no idea who this person was or if we should even open the door) no notice, no contact. The man comes in assures us that he set the timer to a later time which is great! But the last night when we were there the pool lights went off and the jacuzzi stopped working again. So we looked at the tablet and attempted to turn them back on, but because the time on the tablet was set 2 hours ahead this is what was causing the pool lights and the jacuzzi to stop working. When advising Turnkey about this issue they advised me that I should fix the time on the tablet. Which in fact the time had been off prior to us arriving. I had a friend who even fell into the pool because it was so dark out after the timer shut off the lights, TurnKey does not think this is a issue and this is a big problem especially for someone who wouldn't know how to swim. They are brushing it off as "user error" which is 100% an error on TurnKey's end. We were offered no compensation. Also the fridge was not working so all of our drinks were warm and food went bad. When letting Turnkey know this they had no compassion and refused any compensation again. I'm currently awaiting to hear back from the Corporate office to get this resolved.

Fantastic experience: Four women were supposed to go to Palm Springs for a conference, however, the conference was cancelled but we decided to go to Palm Springs anyway. The house is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed to enjoy a trip that consisted of cooking at the house (including the grill), playing games at the dining table, watching movies, and especially the pool/spa. The seating at the pool area was our favorite place for enjoying morning coffee and an evening adult beverage. The waterfall at the pool was a nice touch. We felt very safe and relaxed. It was a lovely spot to enjoy each other's company in the pandemic world we're in right now.

Fantastic experience: Great spot! Check in was easy. Looks better than the photos. The pool warms up really quickly, so if you want a cold pool, it doesn't get that cold in the summer months. We liked it on the warmer side though. Someone comes by to collect an agreement. We weren't aware that was happening, so just something to know.
Fantastic experience: The home was beautiful that we rented out. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The only thing i wish that was communicated to us was that we would be absolutely not allowed to have any noise outside. We rented the home off of a recommendation from a friend who was there a month or so earlier and they didn't have the same noise ordinance to follow. If something that drastic changes, i think they should be alerting customers of the change. We rented that house because of the gorgeous backyard and privacy it allowed us to have but we were told we couldn't make ANY noise whatsoever. But overall a good experience and we may rent again if the noise rule changes.

Positive experience: All in all it was a good stay however the pictures make you think it is much larger. The several doors to outside were blocked with furniture and the one door to outside did not work well at all. There was little to no soap to wash our hands as I was told there would be the supplies. I ended up having to get my own and I even cleaned as well. Several things were not self explanatory and could not figure them out. However the neighborhood was very nice.

Negative experience: The place we are staying at is dirty... at 4:30pm customer care said they will have someone out by 6pm to clean AGAIN... it’s 10:32 pm and no one showed and pretty sure no one at turnkey has a clue what is going on... stay far away from their rentals.

Positive experience: House was beautiful and in an amazing spot. Some issues we had with TurnKey was the communication. You are texting with an automated response rather than a real person. I asked a question regarding the parking and if we could have a third car and they said no. Then when I talked to one of the contacts she said 3 cars are ok. Then we kept getting a text regarding "noise violation" which we were not even outside yet nor being loud. We received a couple of them and then called and got it sorted out. It was a bit odd/ creepy though to know that there is a noise sensor in the home. We enjoyed our stay and the pool was the best part. Other than the communication and the noise sensor in the house it was a great stay.

Negative experience: As a host, turnkey is awful. What is it you want from a vacation property manager? They don't do it. They CLAIM they do, but you will lose money, your property will sustain damage, they won't fix it, and you'll have angry guests. I lost a lot of money with turnkey. I managed my home for years, all five stars, happy guests, good profit. But I got a job where I can't be available during the day. Enter tunrkey. The setup was rough. They missed appointments, communicated poorly, damaged my house. When guests started coming, they couldn't get in, turnkey wouldn't answer the guests calls, people left and demanded refunds. The house was filthy and whn I complained, turnkey did nothing. During covid! I came to check out the house and found extensive damage This house was pristine. I'm heartbroken. Please stay away. Keep your house safe.

Fantastic experience: Enjoyed a weekend visit in Palm Desert at the end of June. Location was at the Palm Desert CC. Rental was clean, spacious, located centrally along with the amenities we desired. Due to the current Covid 19 situation lounges at the pool were not available and I recommend bringing your own to fully enjoy the experience. Negative experience: Turnkey has refused to give us our money back for not being able to provide us for what we paid for, which was for a vacation house rental during specific dates. We never cancelled yet they are refusing to refund what we've paid. I will never use this property management site again and now I have to spend time disputing the charges with my credit card and may ultimately need to take them to small claims court.
Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. They canceled my reservation. Instead of any other vacation rental site which is refunding your money for services not rendered this company is keeping all costs, offering you to stay at a later date with no guarantee of same pricing. Their customer service is infuriating. They clearly have no care or interest in working with the actual renter. Their loyalty is to the owners and their own pocket book. I can not begin to state how awful of a company this is. These are greedy people that have no logic. Hopefully word gets around and they are out of business shortly. My entire experience has been horrific. Stay far away!
Negative experience: We used Turnkey Property Management for three years for our property in Palm Springs. When they had property managers in Palm Springs it went okay. However, they couldn’t keep them long and ultimately we ended up working with someone from their home office in Austin, TX who cared nothing about the property or the property owners. Their goal is to take the company public so they were just worried about getting as many properties as possible. We had several issues with them including them owing us $2100 if fees. They wanted us to renew with them and said that they would only pay if we renewed. When we said that it was two different issues and we would discuss renewal after we were paid, they refused to pay. I believe this is called extortion!! I would run, not walk, away from this company if you are looking for a property management company in the Palm Springs area!!!

Fantastic experience: TurnKey is great when it comes to purchasing and entering the property. The only complaint can be in Palm Springs that they allow NO MUSIC in the house or in the backyard including a small radio.
Positive experience: The house was impressively clean and newly remodeled. It could be that we were only their second guests, not sure. The house included all basic amenities. The location makes it for a constant windy location, especially at night. Not many nearby homes. The bedrooms lack an AC system and dark blinds. Sunrises are bright and early at about 5am.

Fantastic experience: We absolutely loved our TurnKey experience. The property manager was very good about reaching out to us and ensuring we knew who she was and that she was reachable for whatever we might need.
Fantastic experience: A beautiful home exactly as pictured online. Very high end appliances and everything except the TV's and the front door cyber locks lived up to our expectation. Surely there is an easier way to access the tv than having to use 2 remotes? Master bedroom tv was never successfully accessed. Awkward cyber key access that did not always work on first try. Other than that and the housekeepers arriving 2 hours early (you granted us late check out) it was a great vacay. Pool and spa delightful and neighborhood very quiet. You must tell renters when the pool man comes(truly scared when he entered the property and we were out in the pool) and please post the trash/recycle/green schedule so we can put the right cans out on trash day. Having a resource library of things to do and favorite restaurants and attractions would also be a nice touch.

Fantastic experience: We were a group of five couples that rented this property for a long weekend. Every part of our stay,from beginning to end, was top notch and exceeded our expectations. Working with Turnkey on securing the details of our visit was seamless. We had excellent communication with them throughout the process. They were efficient with instructions on our arrival details and readily available throughout our stay to answer the questions we had. The home is decorated beautifully, clean, comfortable and was well stocked to meet all our needs. Another bonus is that it is in walking distance of the main streets in Palm Springs, which meant we could easily walk to shop and eat. The home is an excellent choice for a group of people. Fantastic experience: I stayed with a couple of girlfriends at this house for a few days before a work conference - it was perfect! Beautiful home, so nicely decorated, and so clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything that you would need to cook a nice meal. The pool and hot tub were beautiful, and there are lemon, orange and grapefruit trees in the yard. A real gem ! I would love to go back sometime.

Positive experience: Could not give TurnKey 5 stars because of their poor customer service at their call center. They ask for potential renters to email a copy of their drivers licenses. As so much personal information is on your drivers license I called to ask why this was necessary and where was this information stored? I just needed a guarantee that my information would be stored securely. The representative could not answer either of these questions and insisted it was company policy and if I wouldn’t provide this informaton they would cancel my reservation! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was assured that they would not tell me anything else and she would cancel the reservation. At no time was I able to speak to a Supervisor. So I did my own research and found out that it is City policy in Palm Desert that property management companies obtain photo ID of the person renting and that TurnKey does have a secure server. Thank goodness my husband works in IT and was able to obtain this information! If the representative for TurnKey had been able to have answered my questions or obtained assistance from a Supervisor as I asked there would have been no problem. The property when we got there was very clean and was obviously managed well. The pool was never cleaned while we were there hopefully it was cleaned the day we left as it was beginning to grow algae due to the excessive heat in Palm Desert! Overall an excellent vacation and I would definitely return!

Fantastic experience: Very spacious, pool had a few leaves in it but was promptly cleaned the next morning after arrival. We had everything we needed, beautiful community. First time in Palm Desert, would definitely stay there again.
Fantastic experience: I went to Coachella and stayed in a condo rental in Indio California, and the unit was nice, clean, and renovated and located on a lake view lot! I had a great experience and would definitely rent here again!
Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I rented this property, along with 2 other couples, for our friend's wedding, and we had a lovely stay. No problems checking in, getting oriented, and checking out. The house was very clean, and the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked. We contacted the property manager twice: once for instructions on turning on the fire pit (the fuel valve is hidden) and another because the pool needed skimming, and the property had no skimmer. The service was prompt, and my only suggestion is to get a proper skimmer to keep onsite. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My family and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at this property! It was private and well maintained and updated. We felt like we were at home during our stay. While the noise from Sunrise was a bit noisy, the privacy the backyard allowed made up for it. We loved the fire pit and lounging in the pool. We would have stayed an extra few days if we could have! We will definitely be looking into booking this home again!

Positive experience: The house was fine for our stay of 4 nights. The price was fair for the quality. Pool was cold and the house itself was a little tired in places but provided basic needs. The sofa bed needs to be replaced as it has no mattress support whatsoever and some deep cleaning of the house would be recommended. We were at the house for the BNP Paribas tournament so it would have been great to have the Tennis channel available on arrival :)

This was far superior to a past service I used to rent properties. The tablet at the rental was a very nice touch to help get acquainted to the area. Fantastic experience: The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was spotless and had everything we needed to spend a week by the pool and out of the Seattle rain. The kitchen was well equiped and the appliances new. The complex was quiet, restful, safe, and far enough from a busy street to not hear traffic. I would rent this condo again.

Positive experience: A very nice home and location. We rent in the La Quinta area frequently and this home had everything we needed. As a frequent renter I know what to expect. There were only a few things I have comments on. There was no outside light on when we arrived after dark. The outdoor furniture covers were not removed in anticipation of our visit. It is cold and flu season and there were no facial tissues in the house. Also given the horrible flu season we are experiencing I would have liked all touchpads (remotes, light switches, Samsung tablet) wiped a little cleaner. These are minor issues. The booking, payment, arrival and check out processes were a breeze.

Positive experience: This house in Palm Springs was lovely. Even though it was just the two of us, and this unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, we enjoyed all the space. I would say that we had about a 4 out of 5 star experience for only a couple reasons. First, do not expect ANY food supplies in the kitchen....bring in everything you might need. If there is coffee there, it's only because we left some. There are plenty of cooking utensils and pans, so no problem there. The only other issue we had was propane for the hot tub and pool. We got there on Sunday afternoon, but didn't turn on the hot tub until Monday. When we did, there was no heat for it. We called Turnkey and complained. Tuesday they sent someone out to fill the propane tank. It seems to me that it would be something to check before a new renter comes in, but, well, things happen. And they had left a message on our home phone (why they did not call the cell phone, we don't know) saying they would credit us $100, since we couldn't use the pool/hot tub for 2 days. That seemed fair. BUT even after filling the propane tank, we had no heat for them. Called to complain again. Heard nothing. I was not a happy camper, because using the pool and hot tub was one of the reasons I rented this particular unit. Wednesday we called to complain again. Apparently they didn't think we knew how to operate the hot tub and that that was the only problem. Finally, I noticed that I had a text message from someone at Turnkey named Ryan. When you call Turnkey directly, you end up with someone from a different state who knows nothing, except how to leave a message for the people who CAN do something. But Ryan reached out to us and he took care of the problem post-haste. He sent out a pool tech that day, and even though Ryan wasn't sure what the tech had to do, hallelujah, we had heated water! It was Thursday afternoon by now, but we could finally use the hot tub and pool. I was so grateful to Ryan for getting this done. And I'm guessing he was responsible for getting Turnkey to refund us another $100, since we went 4 days without being able to have hot water outside. So, we loved the house and finally found someone from Turnkey to help us with the heated water issue. I would recommend this house, but be sure that someone checks that there is hot water for the pool and hot tub, and bring in all your food supplies! Other than that, it's a thumbs up!
Fantastic experience: We had a very good experience with this rental home! It was clean and as pictured. The only issue we had was the 2 out of the 3 showers did not have hot water on the morning that we departed. For some reason the 3rd bathroom did have it which was a good thing. But other than that, the house was great and suited our needs.
