Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with AAA South Jersey! From start to finish, their customer service was outstanding. The representative I spoke with over the phone (Maryann) was incredibly kind and helpful, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I even had to cancel my service at one point, but when I was ready, the same representative I had spoken to earlier answered my call again. She immediately picked up where we left off, assisting me with the same sweet and positive attitude. The tow truck driver, Ryan, arrived promptly and provided the quickest service I’ve ever received. They were extremely professional, informative, and efficient. I truly appreciate the care and efficiency of this team, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of towing services. A big thank you to AAA for such a wonderful customer experience!

Fantastic experience: Needed a flat tire changed and Kev V was here in less than an hour and got me on my way quickly. Very professional and friendly!

Negative experience: I’m a first responder and my vehicle broke down around 1 am. I purchased a membership while sitting in my vehicle waiting for my mechanic. The car is on federal property and i’ve witnessed an exception be made in the past which is why I paid for the membership. I waited 12 hours to make the call and explained how dangerous the situation was as again, its parked at a fire station. I was on the phone with a rep and she transferred to a supervisor saying that an exception cannot be made. I did advise that i’d like the membership to be canceled, her name was Tamika, she said “okay fine have a good day,” and disconnected the call. I called back because she was not only rude, there was no time frame given regarding the refund, just a disconnected call. I spoke with a gentleman who was nice, polite and professional who explained that there is a same day service fee for a tow. It wasn’t mentioned to me on the previous calls, so i wasn’t aware of that. He was astounded as that could have been a resolve is explained correctly, however I was hung up on instead.

Negative experience: I have reached out to AAA privately twice, however, they continue to ignore me. My family and I have been members of AAA since 2009. Rarely have we ever used the services offered by AAA. However, on October 19, 2024 and December 14, 2024, my parents and I have experienced horrible service and we question why we are paying a membership fee. On both occasions, we could not get ahold of an agent. In the October 2024 occasion I had small animals in the car on an unusually hot October day and for my senior citizen parents, their incident left them stranded in an extremely cold day. Both occasions we were in a populated area and not in some remote part of the country. No idea how AAA can advertise they have "Legendary Service" when they literally leave their customers hanging and stranded. Shame they are the only game in town for this service. They should be broken up. I will be shopping around for other services. I am beyond dumbfounded by the lack of competence AAA has offered me and my family in times of need.

Negative experience: AAA refused to offer us any assistance when our kayak rack failed and two kayaks on the roof shifted into high speed seashore traffic. A member since 1982, they told us to go pound sand while we sat stranded in the narrow left shoulder with vehicles speeding inches by at 80 mph. Thanks for nothing AAA!!

Fantastic experience: I want to recognize Randy, the tow truck driver from the Voorhees location, for going above and beyond to help me today after a ball joint on my truck broke. He arrived promptly, was polite, and really did everything to help me and make sure there was no further damage to my vehicle during transport. It is rare to find someone who cares so much and takes their job seriously. He deserves a raise! Because of this positive experience, I will continue to be a AAA Plus member in the future.

Negative experience: They deserve ZERO stars but that's not an option. My 26yr old son was in a really dangerous area after keys, ID and everything were stolen. The first thing AAA always asks is "are you in a safe location". I answered no and explained the situation. 2hrs later and 5 phone calls with no call back from dispatch about an ETA!!!!! WHAT'S THE POINT OF ASKING IF YOU'RE SAFE WHEN THEY DON'T CARE AND THERE'S NO PRIORITY???!!! AAA of South Jersey if this is how you respond to an emergency, I hate to see how you handle non-emergencies! Police were called and arrived to wait with him while he waited for AAA. I'm out of state on vacation panicking because of this. This is the absolute worst towing service ever!!!!! I've never had to use the service in South Jersey but this is completely unacceptable!!!! I feared for my son's safety as well as the vehicle all because AAA chooses to take their time in an emergency! I ended up calling another towing service to come because the police were going to leave and it wasn't safe for my son to be there and even they said it!!! Folks cancel your service if you live in South Jersey and need a tow. I ended up requesting a private tow/impound to get my son to safety!!!! This should NEVER happen.

Negative experience: After cancelling automatic renewal on May 24, 2024 they have put a payment request through on my Discover Card for payment and and won't take it Off until it is payed ( original contract not up until June 30, 2024) and 4 to 5 days after they receive it THEN they will send it back. They took a page from Comcast's book don't let people cancel anything until they give up. Edit nice let's keep this quiet/secret and go offline.See their response.

Negative experience: AAA. My daughter got a flat on the turnpike on March 5, 2024. They came and changed her tire for her Saturday morning we went out to get new tires put on her car. The mechanic told me one of her studs is stripped out on her car . So I called them when I got home they will file a report. I get an email stating they have no report of my daughter, getting a flat on the turnpike, no service was reported I guess it was the tire fairy came out and changed it for her. I sent several emails. I have called no returning phone calls. Also got an emails that there’s no service report on the turnpike at that time. Yeah OK, no problem. take your money and run

Fantastic experience: I called to have a battery replace at 7pm. Chris arrived 10 minutes later and was honest about my batteries condition. Ended up wanting the replacement and finished at 7:30pm! Very impressed with Chris’s service

Fantastic experience: We have been invited to do two events so far at AAA in Vorhees and their staff is so nice! They put on these huge events as customer appreciation and it really shows how much they care for their clients! Highly recommend AAA South Jersey!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank a gentleman for helping us out this morning with our vehicle! His name is Eric and our location was in National Park NJ! Extremely kind and knowledgeable! We had a bad situation at 1:00 am in a dark wooded area and was told it would be 90 min! I met my daughter out there and were very scared! Over an hour later we received a phone call that they can’t come out and to go to an auto supply store to get a battery for the Kop, which btw was not the problem, and what auto place is opened at 2:30 am! Horrible! We had to call back in the morning so thank God for Eric! He came in a timely manner! He deserves a raise and as for the other people to leave 2 woman in the woods was not good especially when you pay for AAA plus! Thank you Eric! It was a pleasure meeting you! Sorry this is so long but when there’s an emergency your suppose to do your job AAA!

Negative experience: Was stranded for over 3 1/2 hours and was hung up on when trying to call back for ETA. Thanks aaa really appreciate your customer service wish I could leave 0 stars. My eta went from 90 minutes to 2 hours then to 4hours but I was never notified at all.

Positive experience: Great place, They need to be open a few hours on Saturday, By the time most people are out of work they are closed.

Negative experience: yesterday my i locked my keys in car , a man came out unlocked the door as he was going to open it he pulled the whole door handle off he tried to fix it took him over 2 hrs he pulled the door panel off n everything however the door handle is still broken off and this company is not accommodating me in any way the want me to pay for it and to get i tow’d supervisor didnt event want to speak with me. spoke messenger thru an employee! very unprofessional and not for the customer dont spend your money here

Fantastic experience: I have their road side & they gave me the cheapest rate for full coverage after nj state mini went up. ... I charged my car there.. was very convenient. Only 2 ports available to use tho.

He has Fantastic customer service skills, Very helpful/knowledgeable with info about my vehicle, Etc...I would definitely recommend him and am Happy to give him a 5 review! AAA needs to recognize this wonderful gentleman. I Thank him for being Awesome and making me feel calm while my nerves were shot with my vehicle having issues and treating me with respect verbally.

Negative experience: If you are a person in need of help they give you the hardest time I’ve ever dealt with. I called after getting my truck stuck in a lake when I was fishing. I told them the town and the lake and the size of the truck that was needed. She said she need the exact location of the are I was in. So I told her to have the driver call me and I would direct him which roads to take as I was of a dirt road that was easily accessible nice you got to the lakes main parking lot. She said no way and left me stranded. A few years ago they also left me stranded when I was stuck in my work truck in the snow and could have easily been towed out. What’s the purpose of having this assistance if they don’t assist. Useless

Negative experience: 1. I had a flat tire in the middle of night right on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. For starters the wait time for someone to come tow the vehicle was over 3 hours. 2. When the vehicle was towed there were additional damages and the tow driver didn’t call me to advise me the vehicle was dropped off. 3. I had to call AAA multiple times until weeks later someone got back to me, just to tell me the tow company is denying their claim. Friendly word of advice: Take pictures of your entire vehicle before it is towed to avoid this. AAA takes forever to get back to you with claims and if the other company denies your claim, you are screwed. Needless to say I’ll pay the extra few dollars with my insurance than deal with AAA ever again.

Fantastic experience: We love Regina. The best travel advisor we have ever dealt with. She is a total asset to AAA. We highly recommend.

Negative experience: Even though I have AAA Premium, because they don't stock my car's battery I am SOL. Their service is useless, and if I let them would cycle in a loop of coming out every day to "test the battery". They have no recourse for me, and as a result basically scammed me out of the add-on upgrade features.

Negative experience: I have had AAA since 1988. I put my children on it as I moved to another state. My sons truck had a flat tire and dead battery. No spare. Needed truck to get towed to autobody shop. Son was in hospital had nephew available to follow truck. Not good enough for AAA. A member needs to be with truck. What is a mother to do who is in another state and THOUGHT adding her children to her AAA roadside service would give her some peace of mind. That didn't happen. I have AAA on 2 vehicles and on some investment rental homes and I can tell you now I am in the process of changing that. What's the use of being a loyal customer for over 30+ years when you are treated with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. UNACCEPTABLE.

Negative experience: Horrible service. Woman who answered said truck would be about half hour. 1.5 hours later we called. She said they have up to 2 hours to get there. Truck did not arrive until 3.5 hours later. Triple A does not have enough in-house trucks to service peak hours ( 8 am- 6 pm), so the customer suffers ( all so they can make more $). Told a friend about the wait and he said he waited about 3 hours for a jump. They should at least honor their lame "2 hour max wait" policy.

Negative experience: Wasn't there

Positive experience: The service has been good when I had a flat tire and needed my battery checked. The last service call wait time was extremely long when my car didn't start. So I had to call family to pick me up. My only other comment was paying over the phone when my bill wasn't in front of me. I knew how much I owed. However the rep told me $1 more. I'm usually never wrong with my bills but went with it. Today I received a bill from them showing the $1 charge was optional for traffic safety. She never explained this to me and I'm pretty upset about it. I'll be paying online next time

Negative experience: Called to get help for road side assistance on the highway. Was told they would get someone fast and then I waited over an hour. Called again and was told it was going to be closer to 2.5 hours stuck on a busy highway.

Negative experience: Horrible, they do not help in emergencies. The supervisor is mean and stale. Each being owned by different ppl. Makes other AAA a much better choice. They are the worse PERIOD! post covid they really could care less

Fantastic experience: Website was user friendly and I received a few awesome deals on auto rentals and hotel accommodations! Very pleased and would certainly recommend. Follow me for places that amaze and those to avoid!

Negative experience: Only getting 1 star since they won’t allow a 0 star review. Call AAA since I had a flat tire at 10 pm est I was told that I would have a truck there to help within a 90 minute window. That 90 mins went by so I called back around 11:30pm Est to find out what was going on. The lady on the phone had verified with me that there was a trunk headed towards my location and would be there in 48 minutes making the new ETA around 1:15 Am est. called back again around 1:15 since to not surprise a truck did not show up. The lady on the phone once again confirmed a truck was headed to my location and was 48 minutes away. This seems to be the call script they have to get you off the phone since everyone gave me the same answer verbatim. Moral or the story is a truck finally showed around 4am est after countless 48 min waits. When I asked the mechanic what took so long he was very taken back and showed me that he got notification for my call at 2:45 Am and was sent to south jersey from upstate NY!!! This company is nothing but a headache and full of empty promises. Lost a life long customer today and I’m sure many more to follow.

Fantastic experience: Sean Carmody, the agent I worked with, was professional, thoughtful and helpful. I added home owners insurance to bundle with my current auto insurance policy. It was easy and pretty quick. The rates were lower then other companies I called before my 10% bundle discount. Then I received a 10% discount on top of the already lower rates. I am delighted with my experience with AAA South Jersey

Negative experience: Dont call customer service for member services, they are horrible and will give you an attitude. Especially if your at the beach. I got the best membership they have they cant even call me back. Their rep was extremely rude on the phone. I should've just paid for a tow truck out of pocket instead of being screamed at for no reason. Its the holidays. AlsoThey dont cover the shore, and charge you an arm and leg if you need them there. ON THE SPOT. Ive tried for weeks to speak to a manager athey cant be bothered to return aa call . please just refund my money . i dont pay to get screamed at and disrespected .-- I called and spoke to somone they offered us a free renewal, but I still havent hear back from any manager about the rep who literally yelled at me on the phone, It shouldnt be this hard to file a complaint and have a call rep held accountable. Right now everyone customer service sucks but when you yell at customers you lose them.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever ! I couldn’t find my registration of the vehicle I was requesting to be towed and this is the text I got from their AAA driver who after he left he cowardly sent this text to my cell phone. Be careful who they send to your property as these drivers have all of your information. Of course the south Jersey AAA office didn’t want to be accountable. Supervisor Hermaine referred me to another department by transferring me to another department Horrible treatment from south Jersey AAA service!

Negative experience: Any business that makes you call a toll-free number and wait on hold simply to cancel your membership has lost my business forever. Sorry, but this practice has to stop. Furthermore, car insurance companies and vehicle service plans are more and more offering the same types of services and coverage as AAA (often better).

Fantastic experience: Went to AAA to use their free notary for some documents. The notary was very professional and efficient and all of the documents were notarized in no time!! Definitely recommend this service from AAA!

Negative experience: This is regarding the AAA Driving School. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the several driving schools in the area that have a good reputation. My instructor was not only ridiculously mean, but he was out of touch. I don't think he's reviewed the driver's manual in years. I learned more from free YouTube videos than I did from a course I paid over $500 for. I chose AAA because the pricing packages seemed like good deals, but having a respectful and knowledgeable instructor is so important and I did not get that from AAA. If you're going to use AAA, at least avoid Ed.

Fantastic experience: My car was shaking as I entered onto Rt 30 East, unfortunately, I had a flat tire. Because of the area, dispatch was having a difficult time pin pointing my exact location. Donna from dispatch wouldn't give up on me. She literally gave me her personal phone number so I could take a picture of my surroundings and send it to her via text. The whole crew were so supportive and understood that I was in a dangerous area because of the fast moving after work traffic. When Tyler showed up to change the tire-- he was friendly, super fast and professional. I've been with AAA for years and I just wanna say thank you for the challenging, thankless job that you do. I sincerely appreciate you. All heroes don't wear capes lol

Positive experience: Oceans is nice. A beautiful property, but not used correctly. The casino flor is dark and very morbid. The pool area's are small. If I was the manager i could increase their total revenue by 35%annually fir the next 5 years. There is no draw for people to come to this beautiful under marketed property.

Fantastic experience: I have been going there for 30 years to get my hair cut. Very nice people I never have to worry my hair cut ,it's always cut the way I like it. If you have never went there try them I'm sure you will be very happy with the results I give them 10 stars you girls are the best.

Negative experience: Extremely disappointed as during call related jump start, representative refuse to give details what brand, who's manufacture,quality comparison basically zero info. AAA lacks transperacy to customer but charges top dollar for average product CUSTOMER BEWARE !!!!!
