Negative experience: WARNING WARNING!!!! DO NOT BOOK ONLINE!! This business has had ownership/management changes. I had an online booking and paid in full. They apparently no longer have access to their online services so they did not have a charter planned. Nor are they opening at the morning hour to let people know. Nor did they have a sign out. They did call me back after I called at 5 AM (the assigned arrival time). They did not attempt to correct my charter or honor the service but said that I would need to dispute the charges. I am sure that the boat captains that are subcontracting with them are great and if you book in person there are no issues, but I will never return to their service not just because they had an issue that caused problems but for the way they do not post information about it, show up to help people with this issue, or have solutions on stand by to correct a known issue. There are solutions, but it would cost them money so they choose instead to just say “sorry”.

Fantastic experience: My girlfriend and I booked an 18 hour trip. The communication, details and service were excellent. For us it worked out great because they were able to put us on a great boat with great people. We were told we would catch tuna and we ended up with 11 on the boat! We highly recommend harbor walk charters. Taylor knows how to handle customers and get them with the right people and on the right boats fishing for what we wanted to catch. Of course we wanted some other types of fish but they informed us they were out of season. So again, very thankful for the correct information so our expectations were met and we weren't just told what we wanted to hear!

Fantastic experience: Spent the day on the Special K with Capt Kyle and Mate Danny. There was no drama or stress with these 2. They worked so well together navigating our trip finding the best catch. Danny is a Destin native and never stopped for a minute keeping us all baited up and fishing. Taylor worked hard to get me as a solo person on a charter. Will book again! Took the catch to a local restaurant and it melted in our mouths!

Fantastic experience: We had a BLAST on Reel Grace with captain Cliff and mate Kyle! My husband and I had a private charter so we definitely got an individualized experience and felt very well taken care of! The cabin was spacious with AC and we caught loads of fish (including snapper, triggerfish, and mackerel)! We will definitely be booking again in the future!

Fantastic experience: Great trip and memoires. Captain Phillip put us on the snapper and deck mate Tanner did a great job handling the 11 people in our group. He worked his tail off making sure we had a great experience! Top Notch!

Fantastic experience: I was lucky enough to find Taylor at HWC after the boat I was supposed to be on was canceled for engine issues. My brothers and I were from out of town and had a group of 6. Taylor made personal phone calls to find us a charter that would accommodate us with a cap and deck hand. unbelievable service on the spot. Went out that day for 6 hr. and caught our limit of snapper and then some. Wont fish again with anyone else in the Destin FL area without HarborWalk Charters input. Absolutely awesome and would recommend to anyone !

Positive experience: Overall the Phoenix charter was a delight. We were guided by the captain to a great spot to limit out on red snapper. This was what we wanted to catch the most. The boat was clean and the cabin was nice and cold. The on board bathroom was great! The first mates were very helpful with and rod, line, or rig problems. My boyfriend and I felt like there were too many passengers aboard to really get the personalized attention we were really hoping for, but some of them didn’t want their share of snapper so that left more for us.Taylor is the nicest and sweetest admin and works hard to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. We recommend harbor walk charters to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Great way to go deep sea fishing! Harborwalk books for boats of all sizes so you're sure to find a boat and crew to accommodate your needs. Also, if you do not have enough fisherfolk to charter a whole boat, they will put you together with others to make up a charter. It's the easiest and least expensive way to go deep sea fishing. the office staff work hard to get you what you want. I've been on every boat they charter and these captains are among the best I've ever fished with. Harborwalk offers charters from 4 to 12 hours and can arrange longer trips. If this is your first time and you're just wanting to "try it out" don't skimp and just book the 4-hour trip. It takes an hour or more to get out where you can fish for a variety of species. If you book the short trip, about the only thing the captain has time to do is troll for mackerel. Book at least 6 hours -- You'll spend a lot more time with a rod in your hand and a fish on the line.

Fantastic experience: This was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Taylor the owner picked us up to accommodate us, because you’re not able to get ubers. She was very nice and personable and went out of her way to make sure this trip is everything we wanted. To top it off, we are amateurs at fishing, we boarded The Daybreak charter, captain Tyler was great and answered all our of questions and made sure we were able to fish. The star of this whole show is the deckhand Isiah, that man was amazing and willing to help every single time. His passion for fishing shows through his work, i would recommend that you go with this company. We will be back!

I liked HarborWalk charters because they combined groups so my son-in-law and I went with another great group. This fulfilled a bucket list dream and well worth it. Positive experience: Boat help was excellent, The captain was good until the end he got angry about what we paid the boat help and we asked him to clean five fish out of twelve.We didn't know the cost of the boat help just need to know All the intels before the trip. Other than that it was .when I told him they didn't tell us in the beginning of trip how much the tip was he got a little irate.I want use him again.

Fantastic experience: Although we were not able to finish our full trip(weather related issues) it was a great experience. Captain Tim let us all know up front that the weather would most likely cut us short. We, as a group chose to go anyway, he was right, about 2 1/2 hours into our trip we had to head back to port. He did a great job and I would recommend his trip to anyone. He did offer to take us on the trip a couple days later that would have been a better option for us as a group. Unfortunately, several of our group were leaving the area the next day. I had a great time and will book it the next time I’m in the area.

Fantastic experience: Bow’d Up is an excellent choice for charter fishing. Captain Brady and 1st mate Dalen are organized and professional. Boat is clean, cool, and comfortable. Captain Brady found us great spots and Dalen gave us the perfect advice to reel them in. Caught our limit on red snappers, a black fin tuna, some groupers, Alamo jack and vermillion snappers. Also caught 2 big Amberjack we had to release unfortunately. Couldn’t ask for a better charter.

Fantastic experience: Captain Tyler's Brennan has been a fixture on the Destin docks since he was a kid. Very personable and enthusiastic about catching fish. When the bite got slow, he changed tactics quickly and got our poles bending again. His first mate Tommy works hard to keep you baited and will be a big hit if you have teenage daughters .

Negative experience: First off this was my wife and I's first deep sea fishing charter trip. We were pleased with the trip itself and it was a good experience. We booked a 6 hour trip thinking we would have plenty of time to fish, the guy booking the trip mentioned that would leave us 4 hours of fishing after travel time. As far as the actual fishing trip goes, we were very dissatisfied. Our captain showed up an hour late, still had to get fuel and go through briefing (another 30 minutes) by the time we actually started heading out to sea we are now two hours into our booked trip. Caught some bait fish, which we didn't use, then trolled out to our spot. We fished a few spots and not for very long at each spot even when we're catching fish we kept bouncing around spots. The whole time felt like we were being rushed. We maybe fished two hours at most before we had to head back because he had another trip booked. Cutting our trip short. Not satisfied with the entire experience which we paid for. I've seen plenty of boats come back with large amounts of fish, even though he said our target species was pretty much fished out, yet other charter boats were coming back with 20+ fish. I know fishing is fishing and not catching that’s why it’s called fishing but come on. Biggest complaint is the actual fishing time we did not get. Captain seemed cool and friendly. On another note the deckhand was fantastic. He was on point and was very helpful.

Fantastic experience: Best charter experience of all the ones we have done. Captain and crew on BOW’D UP were exceptional. Father/son memories were made that will last a lifetime and my 12 year old caught the biggest Snapper I’ve ever seen. We will fish with them every time we are in Destin!

Fantastic experience: We chartered with the Finest Kind. The captain was professional, the mates were great and the boat is kept very clean. The entire experience was a blast. We all caught fish. A limit of Red Snapper, a couple Spanish Mackerel, a couple Mahi-mahi and many Bonita for bait. Will use them again.

Fantastic experience: My son and I chartered Through HarborWalk Charters and our original day was changed. We was transferred to Capt Stan Phillips on the boat Destination. Things happen for a reason I guess. Good for us. Started off with the safety spill, USCG mandatory. Pulled away from the dock and stopped to catch some bait, got to watch the sun come up and some dolphins swim beside the boat. The First Mate, sorry I didn’t catch his name, was on his game and did a excellent job for everyone on board. He kept the hooks baited and the lines wet. All day long, Capt Stan and crew did a fantastic job keeping everyone on the fish and we all caught our limit. Highly recommend this boat for your scheduled charter. Ask for Destination and Captain Stan.

Negative experience: Just one very expensive boat ride for no fish

Negative experience: Probably one of the worst fishing trips. We spent the first 2 hours traveling to our destination (6 hour fishing trip). Supposedly, boat holds up to 13 passengers. We took 11 (mostly adults/older teens fishing)..HOWEVER, only 5 got to fish at a time. A lot of standing around and waiting to fish. Deckhand was far from good. We did a LOT of baiting/fixing our on poles. Overall, just an expensive boat ride. Very disappointed. Reel Legend Fishing, Captain Jason

Fantastic experience: Took a trip on the Reel Grace with my family this afternoon and had a great experience. The Captain and first mate (also his son) did an excellent job putting us on the fish, catching more than we needed to have a great dinner. Will book again.

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful trip! Fun was had by all and Captain brought us to all the secret spots so we could all catch our limits and also got a bonus fish(Wahoo). From standing on Harbor Boardwalk Captain Jason went around and introduced himself to each one of us! That made such a huge impression! He then escorted us on board and gave us the details of what to expect. He by far is my favorite Captain. Many of us had bad experiences in the past and felt as if we were in trouble. The shipmates(one of which we went on another trip before) worked together very cohesively. All in all such an exciting, fun, fulfilling day! Cannot wait to go On Board Finest Kind again next time!! Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: What a great experience! Booking was easy and the staff is friendly! My husband and son (age 15) went on an 8 hour charter, they said it was definitely worth every penny! They said their captain did an excellent job of trying to taking them to where they would definitely get some catches! The boat they were on was called Reel Grace, they couldn’t remember the captains name, but said he was great! =)

Fantastic experience: The Captain and First mate worked their butts off to get us on the big fish even in 8' swales. The seas were angry that day and of the 7 of us only 4 hung in there to save the day. Will definitely go out with the REEL LEGEND again.. .

Fantastic experience: Capt. Kyle and Mate Danny were an excellent team. They have decades of experience between them and it shows. They made sure we caught fish, and big fish at that. Our group of six limited out on red snapper and we had the biggest ones at the harbor. We also caught several grouper, including one that took a good 20+ minutes to land. I highly recommend booking with them.

Fantastic experience: Being a lone fisherman trying to get on a quality charter can be difficult to say the least. HarborWalk Charters booked me on a six person charter. We went out with the Special K crew and absolutely slayed Grouper and Red Snapper. This was the best Charter I have ever experienced. I suggest you give them a try.

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic time fishing with the special k under captain Kyle. He is a top notch, very experienced captain and knows how to catch the big ones. His mate Danny, was constantly moving getting equipment ready baiting lines and helping everyone constantly. Super experienced and also a top mate. We were so impressed we are booked for a return trip with this super captain and mate next year

For being a person who has no idea on fishing they did excellent job at explaining the equipment and the difference from fishing in a pond to fishing in Ocean. TJ and Reed were quick at baiting the hook and the Captain was excellent at placing us out of the Sun so we could fish comfortably. We also got to see dolphins

Fantastic experience: We went fishing for 2 days on 8 hour trips. The first trip was ok. The second day was great. On the second day I had requested to be on the Anastasia with Captain Tony. He knew exactly where to take us to give us the best 8 hour fishing experience. I have been on his boat several times and he is the best!

Fantastic experience: The charter captain and mates were great the water was a bit to choppy this trip and I chumed the water a bit and had to sit out a couple drops but the water is just a act of nature

Positive experience: The boat they put us on, Special K, was great. They really put us on some fish. We got moved on our day, once because of weather and the other because they didn't fill the boat. When we finally did go, they raised the price the day before we left. I'm sure that is all in the rules but in 10 years of going, never had the price raised like that. The fishing itself was great, the other experience made it not feel totally comfortable.

Fantastic experience: Captain Tim Baxter and Deckhand Andy of the Hard Charger had an efficient operation for the trip. It would have been nice to use more lines with live bait but that wasn't possible with eight people fishing, you get what you pay for. Had we paid more for a private charter of just a small group that would have been possible. Overall a great trip, throwing together a group of strangers with varying experience and still bringing in a good amount of fish!

Negative experience: I was supposed to go on a morning trip last Saturday but had to be moved to next weekend which isn’t their fault due to weather. They called to let me know that I would be moved to next Saturday, June 26. I get there @5 AM and they said the boat was already booked full. They said they tried to call but had the wrong number even though they called the week before. The lady said she could try to put me on the afternoon trip and only charge me the $210 per person morning fee since they messed up. Now I got a bank statement saying that I was changed $530 ($255 per person afternoon fee) for a trip that I couldn’t make because of their mistake.
