Negative experience: Lindle office AAA Insurance has become incredibly frustrating to deal with. They rarely answer the phone, and if they do, they just put you on hold until an automated system picks up, only to disconnect the call. Then the cycle starts all over again. I called more than many times just to get hung up on every time. All I wanted to ask was why my policy had doubled! This place has become a complete joke. Gone are the days when you could speak to an agent who knew you by name and was happy to help. No wonder those agents have left. AAA should honestly just put up signs saying, “NO PHONE CALLS – WALK-IN ONLY!” After over 15 years with them, I’m done. It’s time to find a company that values its customers.

I waited for a moment. Then TRIED to ask the first person I saw and was rudely blown off. The only reason this is not a 1 star review because of the gentleman who took my pucture. He was friendly and helpful.
Fantastic experience: I was there for aaa international driving permit. And the staff there is so amazing!!! She’s very friendly and willing to be of help. BTW, she took a very nice photo for me! Very impressive, I would recommend AAA set up a service of taking passport photo.

Negative experience: I am writing to urgently warn you about the highly unscrupulous practices and dishonest behavior I encountered at the AAA Insurance branch located at Lindell. It is of utmost importance that potential customers are made aware of the unethical conduct that occurs at this specific location. My experiences at this AAA Insurance branch have been nothing short of a nightmare. I was initially quoted a specific price for my insurance coverage, only to find that increased amounts were unlawfully withdrawn from my bank account. It became evident that this was not an isolated incident, as other customers have reported similar occurrences. It appears that the representatives deliberately provide lower quotes to entice individuals into purchasing policies, only to manipulate the information and charge higher amounts without consent. In addition to the fraudulent financial practices, I discovered that my insurance information was intentionally sent to the wrong mailing address. This deliberate act ensured that I remained unaware of the discrepancies until I reviewed my bank statement. It is clear that this location engages in deceitful tactics aimed at taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. Moreover, the supervisor at this branch, Michael, is directly involved in these fraudulent activities. Despite my repeated requests to cancel my auto policy and obtain a refund for the unauthorized withdrawals, he not only refused to assist but also threatened me with the possibility of negative implications on my credit report. This intimidation and lack of accountability demonstrated by Michael are deeply concerning and indicative of a severe lack of integrity within your organization. I implore AAA Insurance to take immediate and decisive action to address the corruption and misconduct occurring at this location. It is essential that you thoroughly investigate the practices of the representatives and hold them accountable for their actions. Furthermore, the supervisor, Michael, should be removed from his position as his involvement in these illicit practices is detrimental to the reputation and credibility of AAA Insurance. As a customer, I strongly advise against seeking any insurance services from the AAA Insurance branch at Lindell. The deceptive practices, unauthorized withdrawals, and unprofessional behavior exhibited by the representatives and supervisor make it abundantly clear that this location cannot be trusted. AAA Insurance must prioritize integrity and customer satisfaction to ensure the continued success of its business. I trust that AAA Insurance will take my warning seriously and promptly address the severe issues at this location. It is my hope that your organization will demonstrate its commitment to ethical practices and make the necessary changes to regain the trust of its customers.

Negative experience: After months of waiting, my auto claim hasn’t been finalized. I have received no payment and am now reporting them to Missouri Department of Insurance for unfair claims settlement practice and violating Missouri law.

Negative experience: I'm highly disappointed in the office. I have AAA for my car, home and roadside assistance. I was recently stranded at a wedding about 38 minutes from home. They could not and did not find a service tech that would come help me. They basically left me stranded to find another company (keep in mind my policy is paidin full!) I found another company to rescue me and now they won't pay me the reimbursement for what i had to pay because they could not and did not assist when i needed them. They are only good at collecting your money for your policy but they do not come through when you need them. I have been given nothing but the runaround from this Lindell Office. Take your money somewhere else!
Negative experience: We used AAA Travel on Lindell. We've planned our past trips ourselves and thought we would use a travel agent this time instead. We've decided to go back to making our own arrangements for our next trip. The ONLY thing the travel agent did was book the flight and hotel. No suggestions, no advise, nothing. Maybe the role of a travel agent has changed. Also, we prob could have gotten a better price on the flights and hotel if we wld have done it ourselves. If ur expecting more than a booking agent then ur out of luck with this travel agency.
Negative experience: It wasn’t good. To start out the guy we signed the policy with wasn’t cooperative at all and was very lazy. He made us do a lot of stuff and wouldn’t help us understand what information we need from our previous insurer. Then threatened to pull our policy or give us a penalty charge if we didn’t get it to him. I ended up calling the local office to us and they fixed the problem for us in one all and even saved us money. We were also told by BOTH people, the original guy and the sedalia mo office that our policy would be transferrable or that they were nation wide so all we had to do was change our address. Well that wasn’t true either so we had a I get a whole new policy elsewhere or drive 4.5 hours to do a whole new policy through aaa. Worst experience because it felt like we were lied too. I don’t recommend AAA to anyone.

Negative experience: The place is small and cramped. Horrible customer service. Took me an hour to get a ID renewed when it only takes the process only takes a few minutes. Probably because one of the clerks took a smoke break after every customer. Oh and its not ok for you to stand when there is no seats but it's ok for you to sit on your lovers lap cause COVID understands. SHUT IT DOWN!
Negative experience: Very very unprofessional, The claims agent Claims that it would be 2 weeks before she can get a police report. That same report I went and got within 2 days within 2 days Anne sent to her and her supervisor and did not hear back from either one of them. The car repair shop has been trying to contact them since the sit's the 6th of January January and has not gotten any response. I don't know who's running the business over there but they need help.

Negative experience: There are some states where AAA is worth your time, but unfortunately Missouri is not one of them. Every service called I've placed has taken a minimum of 4 hours waiting time, and about half the time, I've ended up cancelling my service call because a stranger stopped, helped out, and got me back on the road before AAA even dispatched someone. The communication between the AAA help line and the people being sent out to help you is non-existent; they can't give you any updates on when to expect service and they can't put you in direct contact with the people you're waiting on either. It's an hours-long guessing game.

Negative experience: Yes I tried to sign up for AAA April 10th in St Louis but the guy at the Lindell location was doing multitask work and he messed up my AAA signup I was trying to sign up for AAA in St Louis but I have to go over to Illinois and sign up and they gave me a refund back but AAA didn't do me no good in St Louis so now I have to go over to Illinois to sign up due to the fact you all have a older guy there that's trying to multitask and he didn't know what he was doing and they gave me a refund instead of letting me sign up for AAA roadside assistance because I was trying to get my insurance and everything but they felt so bad about what the young man or

Positive experience: AAA has so often been a life saver and I’m very fortunate to remain a member, but I was really frustrated with the most recent time I needed service. This was the same week as the massive snowstorm in February 2021, so I completely understand they needed to prioritize service to people who weren’t in safe locations or had emergencies; however, the lack of communication about my service requests was made infuriating in conjunction with the fact that the service tracker/update feature didn’t even open on the AAA iOS app nor website. My battery was dead and I ended up having to far overstay my welcome at my friend’s house because I had no idea when AAA would get to me. After having called the service number and being told I’d be updated via text when someone was dispatched, I didn’t hear anything back and the automated chat box thing in the app was inoperable for my situation. I attempted calling again and was on hold on the service line for over an hour. I know they were terribly busy because of the weather, but I hadn’t spoken with a human and I imagine many people who had more immediate emergencies were made to wait just as long or longer before getting through. The website referred me to call, but upon placing a phone call, I was connected only with a recorded message imploring me to use the website; the irony is funny but not when I was trying very hard to get help. Like I said, I’m grateful for AAA and in the past I’ve had very few complaints, but this situation made clear the cracks in its system.

Fantastic experience: Had a flat tire yesterday in Maryland Heights, which required a tow 25 miles to South St. Louis. The operator, Carl Guyton, was amazing! He was very professional and took care of my baby, on and off the tow truck. He said he is leaving for another job soon and I wish him nothing but the best. AAA has lost a good one.

Positive experience: The waits, for DMV, insurance, or travel services are all indeed long. There are large numbers of obviously unhappy people sitting around waiting like boiling sardines --like most government social service experiences, and this is a private company. This seems largely down to understaffing given the demand, as my experience with multiple of the staff was personable and friendly once I reached them (if still slow). It is not a full service travel office like many AAA offices. Also, I got photos and both an International Driving Permit and an Inter-American Driving License, and they not only charged for both documents (understandable, since they're distinct, if related) but charged twice for the same photos for both documents (assuming this is AAA policy and not staffing who is not trained to fulfill this unusual service, then that is not down to the location but is still something that AAA should change). This facility seems to mostly service insurance and DMV, with travel services tertiary.
