Negative experience: They promise you a free cruise and $100 in dining certificates for listening to their travel membership presentation. I didn't buy anything. About 40 hours later, I was emailed my prizes - links to 3rd party sites wanting me to spend money to get the prizes. The prizes are not "free". For example, the $100 in dining certificates are spread out over months and you have to spend $50 at a restaurant to get a $25 credit! Don't waste your time with this "discount prices only valid today" sales pitch! Check the other Google Reviews - a BBB rating is useless (companies pay to be rated).

Negative experience: Horrible Horrible service I was charged 445 dollars for a car rental service unauthorized by the way and they say they can't do anything for me. So I didn't receive the rental or my money back which is robbery!

Fantastic experience: I recently became a member with Arriva, and was looking forward to our next vacation. Before we had a chance to book a vacation my kids and grandkids were coming to Cincinnati to visit us from South Carolina the week of Memorial Day. Just our luck it called for rain the entire week. So my wife suggested we book a local hotel with an indoor pool. We looked it up on the internet and the best deal for a Candlewood suites w/ indoor pool was $157 nt. ,she then suggested to use our membership portal and the exact same hotel and dates were only $78 inc, tax. We saved over $500 and wasn't even expecting it. I Cant wait to plan a real vacation and see my saving. I look forward to many more trips for years to come.

Fantastic experience: When we first were looking thru our new vacation club, it was scary. There is some much stuff on the site. However, once we spent some time on the site, it was incredible. The chooses and pricing are great. The customer service was amazing with chat or call in. In fact one time I called and I was 5 in the Q and just hit a number to text chat immediately. no wait. Good prices and great service.

Fantastic experience: I’ve booked several trips through the arrivia portal And the experiences have been incredible. Not to mention, I’ve saved quite a bit of money. Little advice if you’re looking for something at a great discount, do it either way in advance or if it’s a holiday the week of and you’ll really find some good discounts.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I booked a Norwegian Alaskan cruise in Aug 24, not only was it the best trip of our lives it was orchestrated perfectly from flights from Cincinnati to one night hotel stay to transfers and three excursions, we were able to use our rewards for airfare so that saves $1400, our concierge Janice was amazing!!! Negative experience: There are "ZERO STARS" for the service that is provided from this company, I cannot even believe that a company like USAA even works with these people, the website needs a complete overhaul and very glitchy (I was charged twice for a reservation because of it... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED) I remember being transferred to their travel department (which at some point was routed to India) and when someone answered all I heard was people talking, no one greeted me on the phone, NO ONE !!!, I just hung up, I Pray that USAA finds a better company to work with, this is totally unacceptable

Negative experience: My sale rep Cory, lied to me about the price I would pay for my cruise. Once he charged my card a $900 non refundable deposit, he refused to give me a refund. Then when I asked for the trip to be cancelled, they did not cancel it. They were a nightmare to deal with. They are fraudulent. Stay away.

Negative experience: The worst experience. I had to reach out to my vacation company myself once my agent went radio silent. I tried to get ahold of someone for MONTHS. I did this for my honeymoon, and wanted to not have to plan a trip for myself for once. Please do not use this company.

Negative experience: I have been trying to reach the office via phone - Auto directed to a message about their standard hours and no one ever responds even if you know extensions. I have sent several emails to the office and to my travel agent who booked our group vacation. no response. Might need to call the police to see if this is some form of fraud

Negative experience: Scam artists- lies attempts to overcharge and associated with fraudulent practices in concert with USAA. DO NOT USE THEM. IF YOU BOOK A CRUISE DEAL DIRECTLY, AS THEY WILL CONSTANTLY ATTEMPT TO DOUBLE CHARGE YOU FOR TRANSFERS, HOTEL ROOMS AND WAIT TO THE LAST MINUTE AND CALL DEMANDING YOUR CREDIT CARD. CALL AND DEAL WITH THE CRUISE LINE DIRECTLY. THEY REPEATEDLY LIE ABOUT "PICK A PERK" AND TRANSFER FEES TO AND FROM AIRPORT. Had desperate calls and no way to return the call or email. Poorest of manipulation from customer service reps that say sorry a thousand times but don't be fooled these are calculating criminal misrepresentations.
Negative experience: This company pretended they were a part of Usaa travel company and I booked a cruise with them for the next year. The agent was very attentive for the sale but two months later due to a family health issue we are unable to travel. The agent is not responding to emails and their phone line is never answered by their reps. RCL will not cancel a cruise if an agent books, so this is the perfect storm for fraudulent businesses. They can make a sale and disappear with their commission!
Negative experience: This travel agency agents don’t answer calls. Left a couple voicemails weeks ago but no one ever respond.
Negative experience: It was just a complete waste of time. There is no value to the customer. It's just a way to bilk thousands of dollars out of time share owners with a travel savings shell game.
Negative experience: Called Joe Iglesias to reactivate a platform I'd spent thousands of dollars on a few years ago only to be told that I'd have to spend another $5000 to get what I'd already purchased. When I said that doesn't make sense he said "take it or leave it... I know our competitors cost way more" mentioning a few by name. When I said that he "was mistaken and shouldn't mislead" because I had just gotten off the phone with one of the companies he'd mentioned and they were less he started screaming and hung up on me. So in addition to being "unethical" they're also "rude".
Fantastic experience: I am working with Ryan Neufeld to book my Viking Cruise and I cannot say enough good things about Ryan. He is a true professional, very helpful in his recommendations, not pushy and very much available when you need to speak to him! Highly recommend booking your next trip with Ryan!!
Positive experience: Quite helpful
Negative experience: Awful customer service. Caused a huge amount of distress for a vacation. do not book with them. They worked under another name Government Vacation rewards. Super fishy company. They Booked the wrong cruise dates with the cruise line. my paperwork reflect the correct dates so we purchased flights. however the cruise line had me booked on another cruise date completely and when I informed them they didn’t nothing to right there wrong after a week of back and forth. I Ended up having dispute charges with credit card company and they had an opportunity to fix it as I called the cruise line myself but because I wasn’t the travel agent they couldn’t change it to the correct date. When the cruise line spoke with them directly the travel agent refused to change the date which I have co firmed via email I wanted the date I originally booked and put the cruise they incorrectly booked me for in penalty and they wouldn’t change. I asked for a full refund. They called after 10 days and apologized said I would receive a refund for the full amount paid due to their mistake however the check they sent me. Is from this company Arrivia. Yes I said the check?if it’s even real. These scammer’s They have there agents use scripts to agrivate and blame customers for poor customer service practices and procedures. I received a check that is for $700+ less then what I paid for. Not to mention having to pay $150 out of pocket that is not getting reimbursed to receive credit for the flights we purchased that we no longer needed since we were unable to get on the cruise we booked. Worst experience ever. Avoid at all costs. Or it will cost you.
Negative experience: I would give them a zero but it's not an option. I too spent 2 hrs of my day (8/25/2023) on a bogus zoom call to receive a cruise voucher supposively free but if you don't join one of their high priced pkgs DON'T expect any further contact with them. All numbers allow you to leave msg to no Avail. BOGUS LIARS (Jackie & Reya).
Negative experience: What a WASTE of my time, money and energy which I spent with so called.. Arrivia. Not to mention "ROSELL LAZARO" who used to call me within flash of second after receiving my email when I was in the process of booking a cruise with them. And when I had to cancel (severe medical conditions) of one of the traveler, even 1000s of email and Voice mails did not affect her and she never called me back till now. I had to call Holland America for help to cancel but I think I wont be able to get the refund now since today is the day of sailing ( Vancouver to Alaska) - Aug 2 to Aug 9 Cruise. Pathetic customer service by ROSELL LAZARO and pathetic organization to have got my booking done. NEVER EVER USE ARRIVIA FOR BOOKING ANYTHING. For them, Client's money (5k for me) and feelings and time is of no IMPORTANCE. AVOID ARRIVIA - AVOID ARRIVIA - AVOID ARRIVIA
Negative experience: They called me and asked if I wanted to attend a zoom meeting about the program. I did and followed through with everything. I was supposed to receive an email with a 3 night hotel stay but never got it. Would not recommend at all and if they call you, hang up because they are LIARS!! I've been trying to call them but none of their numbers work
Positive experience: I feel like I’m speaking Klingon to the reps of this company. I give them my parameters and it’s like they didn’t hear them. They push the cruises that are the most profitable to them. Understood. Wish Marriott didn’t have the middle man and we could deal directly with the liners.
Negative experience: Prices quoted are higher than those on the Princess cruise website. Very slow customer service. I will never use them again.
Negative experience: Cancelled this cruise over a month ago and was told on 12/7/22 that my refund would be processed within 7-10 days. According to the cruise line, the refund has been processed, but to the incorrect credit card! I don’t even own an Amex! The cruise line will not speak to me and they are needing the travel agent Gill Sandiego on the phone. The insurance company also needs his supervisor to call in order for me to get my insurance refunded. Gill gave me the incorrect number to call. He’s no longer answering the phone and I can't reach anyone on the number listed on the website. This is so frustrating! I just want my full refund as promised! I don’t have time for the run around!

Negative experience: I challenge anyone to try and place a phone call to this travel agency. I have never been able to speak to a real person. When you get tired of waiting on the phone, send them an email…. And wait and wait and wait. They love taking your money or Marriott points but fall very short on anything else.
Negative experience: Purchase of the Arrivia's membership: Caveat emptor!!!! We participated in one of the Arrivia's sales presentations, advertised as a 90 min. presentation, actually lasted 120 min. My wife and I travel a lot (internationally) and we could tell at the get go this was not on the up and up, but we did hang in there for the full 120 mins. At the end we simply told the "one on one Closer sales person" we don't see the value in this, it is not competitive: meals are not included, it is a basic point A to point B trip, you have to do all the work to figure out what to see in the area and how to get there (and of course this REALLY increases the cost of the trip which the Closer doesn't even mention). When you really do an apples to apples comparison to other companies that do offer a comprehensive travel package Arrivia is not competitive, especially when you factor in the $6,998 membership fee. If all you want is to hang around the hotel for your vacation and eat hotel meals (hotel meals, which tend to be higher in price than local restaurants) even then Arrivia is not great deal. We felt sorry for those individuals in our group who opted to pay $6,998 to become a member of the Arrivia Travel Agency, because that is all Arrivia is, simply a travel agency! OBTW: near the end of the presentation the main presenter stated multiple time "if you do not purchase the package your rewards are handled by another company, a marketing company, Arriva has nothing to do with that company" This was the red flag, we knew what was coming next! We mailed in the forms to obtain our gift from LUX Vacations / Customer Choice Rewards (the marketing company the Arrivia presenter mentioned). Just one more scam, none of what was stated to us was actually provided!
Fantastic experience: Great place to work and Great deals for travel
Negative experience: Too many problems and issues to go into details. Given prices by agents that were not honored, changes discussed that were not made, money charged that were not credited back to our credit card, all with no communication from the company themselves until you call and keep pushing the various issues up the ladder. Excuses made, few resolutions or absolutely no resolutions on others. No, I do NOT recommend them.
Negative experience: Buyer Beware! I bought into this as a part of another vacation package. The Lifestyle collection. I have used it twice and both times were aweful. 1st experience I booked a week over Thanksgiving for 7 days to Fort Lauderdale FL. When we arrived we were put into a nasty room with the curtains torn and stains everywhere. I went to the Front desk and they said you booked through the Arrivia account, that is what that is. I had to spend an additional $500 to change rooms to something nicer. 2nd trip was to Myrtle Beach, booked several months in advance for my daughters birthday. We arrive at 8pm, the hotel said we dont have a reservation, then they said they sold our room to someone else and they booked us somewhere else. No one called, emailed, acknowledged this to me prior to my trip. It was a Sunday so they were closed and I had to drive around the city with the Manager of the hotel with my entire family to find another hotel room and pay $600 for the night at a different hotel, because no one told anyone where we had a room. The next day I spent several hours on the phone trying to figure out what was happening, and where we were supposed to have a hotel. They wanted to put us on the opposite side of the city. Our friends and family were at the original hotel location. I had to rent a car, that I didn't anticipate. Now it has been 9 months of me talking to a new person every month with no resolution except for the offer of an additional $100 refunded of my $4000+ trip. I have spoke to at least 10 different people, no one can give me answers or send me to someone that can make decisions and they essentially told me the only way to get resolution is through a law suit. Unbelievable.

They do give the better leads to certain people and allows certain agents to work your appointment set if you haven't sold them within the 5 days some managers will work really hard for you others won't really do the work but all in all it's a great company to work for lots of opportunity for money to be made

Negative experience: Purchased a timeshare from private reserve travel collection and have been regretting it ever since! Its another one of these US companies that spend a lot of money on hiring sales team to convince you to buy the product but spend nothing on their website tech. Their website They say booking hotels and excursions with them is cheaper but their website is always 'upgrading' and therefore not working and then they charge 20USD extra per booking to book by phone. Their website is a scam. Be careful getting on the phone with them as they'll always send you to a sales person who will try to upgrade your membership and it is impossible and annoying to get off the phone with them.

Positive experience: Clean room with nice mini fridge and excellent TV. Rooms redone recently. Nice food place next door 10% discount with key.
Negative experience: After reading many of the comments it's obvious the "Love of Money" by this company is causing many of its problems with customers and employees. We paid $2000 to them a few years ago to "upgrade" Many promises were made as to how we would benefit by upgrading. We upgraded and the extra benefits lasted a couple years but as time went on all those "upgrades" disappeared completely. Now guess what! they are promoting a "new upgrade" program again. The salesperson explained the benefits and they were exactly what we were promised when we upgraded before and the price is around $2000 this time also. We dug out our original notes and receipt to compare and sure enough they took away what we paid for and are trying to sell it to us again. Obviously were not going to fall for that spheel again when trust has been broken. I see they have left general reply comments for dissatisfied customers about how they would like to resolve the matter. We have tried with them through phone conversation but to no avail. We have kindly asked for our upgrade benefits to be restored and that has not happened. What's next? Legal action? Have not ruled it out. 8-11-2020 Follow up to ICE reply: Went ahead and did email them at the email they provided. No response so far. Wasn't expecting any though. Just wanted to confirm their reply was just for show.

Negative experience: Have a concern about something I was told by the travel agent was included in the rate switched over from Carnival that turned out not to be true. Have documentation on it, plus (according to the company) the calls are recorded. I have called the travel agent I worked with and left messages and the customer service line where I was told a Supervisor would look into it and call me back. I have not received any calls back.

Negative experience: We were promised 4 days in Cabo if booked cruise through them. After booking with ICE, Cabo was not an option. The problem is still not resolved. We have not been given the same bonus offers the actual cruise ship is offering. We have spent hours of our time dealing with these issues. This is a bad reflection on USAA!

Negative experience: Alaskan Cruise 6/2/18 - 6/9/18 Worst agency I have ever dealt with! They are complete scammers! I booked a cruise with them and was told I would receive two coupon booklets valued at $500 each. I was told the coupons would offer savings on excursions, drinks, casino, etc. These booklets were supposed to be in our room upon boarding the ship. They were not. While on our cruise, I contacted this agency three times and sent an email. The third call, I was told we would definitely receive the booklets in the evening. But guess what - never did. Got home and called. Their solution to this $1000 value I never received is $50!!!! It is insulting and clearly they do not care about customer service. I have placed a call with the BBB because I was deceived and not given what I paid for. I have also asked their management staff to call me and no one has. Stay away from this agency!!!!!!

Negative experience: I booked a cruise and airfare through American Express Travel Online. The booking was ultimately handled by I.C.E. It turned out that the class of cruise cabin I selected was not available, but the website still allowed me to select it and place the order. I received a call two days later, once the airfare could not be cancelled, from a travel agent with I.C.E. Enterprise, who stated that the room was not available and I would either have to cancel the booking or upgrade to a class of cabin that was $800 more. As the agent put it, that was "good news because it is only $400 more per person." I don't know what kind of clients she routinely has, but $800 is not a trivial amount to most people. The cruise was already at the very top of our budget, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Regardless, I was forced to upgrade because my airfare could not be cancelled. This is the very definition of bait and switch. She then admitted that this is a known problem with the website, but that it was my fault because the site says that the booking will not be finalized for 72 hours. It does not, however, state that there is a chance the booking will not go through because they are offering cabins for purchase that may not actually be available. The agent then proceeded to give me a lecture on the importance of booking big trips in person or over the telephone. If that is the case, why even offer the opportunity to book online? The company should either keep the website updated or, if this problem is as well known as the agent stated, require guests to call to make the booking. In any event, I do not think I deserved her condescension when I am the one who is ultimately bearing the cost of this misadventure. I did not receive any concessions or even a direct apology.

Negative experience: Representatives tell you one thing and when your almost finished paying for the services they come up with some more BS so you can spend more and so they can lie to you again. Talked to one of the reps ( Tim) and the guy argued with me. To hell with them and their services.

Negative experience: I agree with the review that this company is unethical. I used my Marriott vacation club points to book a cruise. The company's web site showed a cabin cruise credit of $75 which the cruise line did not honor even when I showed them the printout of the promotion from ICE web site. My wife called ICE about the cabin credit of $75 when we got back from the cruise. To make a long and agonizing story short, we got scammed out of the cabin credit. Their excuse was they can change the term of the offer at their discretion. Bad company. Don't waste your Marriott vacation club points with this company.

In review of your reservation with our agency, it is true that there was a promotion available through the cruise line for an onboard credit. The terms of the promotion did not change, but stated at the time of booking that specific fares are not combinable with the OBC offer. The promotion stated the following on the website: “2016-12 HAL OBC Offer – Must be booked between 11/29/16 thru 12/14/16 on 7+ day sailings departing 01/01/17 and 04/28/17. Excludes Grand Voyages. OBC is per stateroom. 7-14 Days receive Inside $35 OBC; OV $50 OBC; Balcony $75 OBC; Suite $100 OBC. 15+ Days receive Inside $50 OBC; OV $75 OBC; Balcony $100 OBC; Suite $150. Onboard credit will appear on customer shipboard credit account. Not combinable with any Non-refundable promos including FL fares or single savings programs.” When your reservation was finalized, Holland American was offering the “FL rate” promotion, which is non-refundable, but also a deeply discounted fare. This fare far exceeds the $75 onboard credit per stateroom that you might have otherwise received, but you would have been required to pay a substantial higher out of pocket cost. The FL rate, also called a FLASH Promotional rate, saved you a minimum of $700 out of pocket. When assisting our members, our goal is to find the best rate available in conjunction with the use of your points. The savings you received by your booking agent were significant and the best option for your cruise vacation at the time of booking. I hope this explains more clearly as to why the $75 OBC promotion was not available for your reservation. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to address your concerns.
