The Vacation Warehouse

Negative experience: I recently purchased 161,000 Wyndham Points from these guys. The agent was Clem Swan. I was told before the transfer that the monthly maintenance fees were only $68 per month. I agreed to purchase. Fast forward a few weeks after the transfer process was completed, I received my first statement from Wyndham Vacation Club for $297 per month! I called Wyndham and Wyndham told me that the selling agent misrepresented the maintenance fees as they have always been $297 per month. I called The Vacation Warehouse back and they told me it's not their fault, it's Wyndham's fault. Well, being that i made the purchase through them and not through Wyndham, I expect The Vacation warehouse to fix it, but all they do is blame Wyndham saying they can't do anything. Now i am out my original purchase price as well as stuck with a worthless Wyndham contract with $297 per month maintenance fees. I don't know why they refuse to take ownership of the situation, but I will be more than happy to update this review once they resolve this issue. BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!!

Fantastic experience: Although I was somewhat skeptical at first the folks at Vacation Warehouse were professional and responsive throughout the process. Kysha Johnson and Clem Swan kept us updated and were prompt in answering any questions we had throughout the process and had the transactions completed in less time than projected.

Fantastic experience: The overall process in transferring ownership of my timeshare back to the club was an ongoing horror show (one star review) but the only thing keeping me sane was the excellent (five star) work of Kysha Swanson. Always accessible via phone or email, she was smart and responsive, initiated calls, and she's just a pleasure to work with and very personable. Thank you, Kysha!

Positive experience: We have happily been using our timeshare membership / ownership for around a decade. We went to places we never would have before and we spent quality time we never would have for as many days. As we began traveling frequently, I actually didn't mind the maintenance fees. What changed for us was family and personal circumstances. None of our adult children were in a situation for us to pass it on to them. This is what led to us taking the calls from Vacation Warehouse. I only give then a 4 out of 5, because the initial call, meeting, and approach by the team was confusing. I felt at the time of the meeting I couldn't trust they'd be able to help us out of the contract as smoothly and quickly as they claimed. But they stuck with us in that meeting and we decided to hear them out. They built our trust and we agreed to work with them to get out of our timeshare contract. Everything from that point on after the meeting went EXACTLY as they said. Communication was thorough, staff was available, and timelines were exceeded. Our meeting with the team was in very late August 2024. We received our final documents and confirmation of total completion of the transfer before Dec 31, 2024. Their travel program is still a little confusing to me, but I know I can get help as needed. So when we are ready to travel, I know this is an option. I took a leap of faith and they delivered beyond their committments. If you know what you want and are realistic in your expectations, I think you will have good result if you work with this team.

Fantastic experience: I had Three Timeshares from Disney, Vistana to Marriott and Vacation Warehouse was instrumental in every aspect of to transfer ownership out of my name and the deeds were properly recorded to Florida Court— Samantha Post, Kysha Swanson and Clement Swan made this all happen; highly recommend this company !

Negative experience: This company is Fraudulent. It appears like an airline company. I paid the airfares and the seats never confirmed and they charge 657.97 and I am still waiting for the refund.

Negative experience: Do not use these people sell you a resale timeshare.....transfer took very long, even had to sign transfer papers twice....they never told me transfer went thru and only found out when I got a default letter because maintenance fees had not been paid.....would have paid them if I had known....kicker is the previous owner had used all of the 2022 and 2023 points which would have been nice to know, now I am paying 1900 in maintenance fees for something I can't even use....they have been zero help

Negative experience: Great presentation, super nice people. They promise you great savings on resorts and hotels. I travel a lot so I spent over $10,000 for the package. Wow was I screwed on this deal!!! Not only have I been paying the $124 annual fee for years, my discounts are mere dollars compared to if I book the hotels on my own. Many times I end up not using them as I often find cheaper deals on my own. At this rate I'd have to books hotels several times a month for 20+ yrs. to get enough savings to justify the $10K I spent up front. I was promised great deals and discounts with great immenities. 3 yrs. and I've yet to get any descent discount worth getting excited about. When I mention the $199 for the 1-week stay at a nice resort, the operators have no idea what I'm talking about. Even worse, if I stop paying the annual membership fee, I lose the $10,000. I am stuck. Don't be fooled. DONT DO IT!! Save the money and book your own vacations.

Negative experience: Scam scam scam. Stay far away from this company

Fantastic experience: Didn't get my free trip for going a year later i called them and they are going to email me another one. I should have signed up with them they are really nice and understanding.

Negative experience: I will utilize the word Scam for this product. My wife and I bought into this as we vacation every year and was sold by the presentation that we would be saving money. Fact is utilizing their system cost more than booking a vacation on your own. I want my funds returned! I will even take 50% of what I have already paid. If there is a comment from VW after this post about returning calls or "we are sorry for...." dismiss that BS. No Value in this product. Consumers RUN!

Negative experience: This is a real scam, deceptive marketing and promotion. They're desperate to get your $10k upfront, with no guarantees of any pricing only promises of huge discounts. Friendly upfront, but completely rude if you don't commit. There's nothing free about the reward package, as its loaded with fees, surcharges, deposits, and restrictions. Complete waste of 3hrs of your time, stay clear!

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful place, They have Amazing vacation deals and packages. I am excited to be with them and can not wait to take my first vacation and save money at the same time! I wish i knew about them sooner. Very Friendly staff as well. the Presentation was fun and exciting, If you are looking to save on a vacation I highly recomend them.

Positive experience: I went for the presentation and did not end up buying anything from them. The presentation was okay, but they did not present any real world comparisons of what you pay with their services vs any of the other ways to search for travel. It was just slides with words saying you are saving money but nothing to back up what they were claiming. I went online to look at other reviews, and even the people that did buy into it do not say it has saved them any money, they only review as soon as they leave the presentation and say ‘can’t wait for my first vacation!’ It’s sketchy to say the least. I was also concerned by all the names the company goes under, they never explained why they operate under more than one name. I was offered $100 restaurant gift card for going on the day they called, but it was really a savings card, for like a free appetizer at a restaurant or BOGO sodas at a gas station. We’ll see about the ‘free’ cruise, I’m not very hopeful based on other reviews.

Fantastic experience: I love the experience I had with Vacation Warehouse. They show you how you can save money and enjoy a lifetime in vacations with family, friends, and loved ones. You are not tied down to timeshares and can go as much as you like. These people are there to help you every step of the way. They were super sweet and thoughtful. Awesome communication... A plus in my book...

Fantastic experience: Ryan, Valorie, and Troy deal with my shenanigans month after month and I thank them for their patients. When you give them a area or zip code you’d like to be in, they find a way to work with you, jump through your goofy hoops and make you happy. They meet all accommodations requested and I definitely thank them for their dedication to our family. This was the best investment we’ve could have made.

Negative experience: Don't wast your time, Free gifts are fake. There are so many hidden fees that you can get the trips cheaper by simply using Google. Will lie to you in presentation about what the contract clearly states you cannot do. They ask for $14k upfront be fore you can use the "Club" The only people going on a Dream Vacation here is them with your check book. Buyers Beware!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience since this was my first time using Vacation Warehouse. Quick response to emails and smooth reservation process.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. I was silly enough to purchase a membership and waited 30 days for my membership to be activated (conveniently past the 7 day window you are given to cancel without penalty). When it finally was and I had access to my account, I discovered that all of the assurances and promises verbally made that convinced me that I would benefit from a membership were 100 percent false. I am so furious. I’ve called and emailed to request to meet with the salesman who flat out lied to my family and I but have yet to have any of my messages returned. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BY GOING TO THE PRESENTATIONS.

Negative experience: All these positive reviews are fake. It is a typical timeshare scam. If you hadn't already been screwed over by something like this before, then you dont know what to look for or what questions to ask. They contradicted themselves several times when talking to me. We were enticed to go with free gifts, the even lied about that. None of the gifts were free, they all had processing fees that were higher than what the gift was even worth. Stay away from these con artist. If you just really beileve that they have a great product, instead of paying them $12k, just search ebay for timeshares for sale. You can buy one from some one begging to get out of theirs for free. They tell you they are well reviewed and have all these awards from different agencies. But when you contact those agencies, they are not even listed with them. So you have been warned.

Fantastic experience: Finding a good place to stay on vacation at a good price can be difficult and time consuming. Having someone do the work for us was a relief; and save us thousands, yes thousands! Looking forward to our vacation and planning the next.

Negative experience: SCAM EDIT in light of the owner's response: I did meet with this company and promptly had my time wasted. Everything about this experience felt like I was being swindled, so much so that I asked or my information page back after the presentation as I did not want this group to have my name or contact information. The woman at the front desk promptly returned what was clearly a copy of the information page and, when questioned, admitted that she kept the original for their files. I asked yet again for the information page, and she gave (AGAIN) what was clearly a copy. This particular interaction is what prompted my negative review.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding customer service. My travel request was challenging, but not for the warehouse travel concierge. They got me a great deal that saved me hundreds and I couldn’t be happier.

Positive experience: Very sketchy feeling, you just know they're out to swindle you. They want you to buy in without any real proof of savings. There are no "for example" you can take this vacation and it will save you "xyz"! I will be writing another review once I'm able to use the program. So far its like Obama care, you have to buy off on it before you see whats in it! You have 6 days to get a full refund, but you are not active in the system for 3- to 45 days. Don't think for a minute that the vouchers you were promised for attending are free. It will cost you around $1000 to take the trips promised. Plus it looks like you can only fly to location on "your" side of the Country divided by some obscure East West line.

Fantastic experience: Great experience! The presenter, Dan, was professional and SO funny! Our personal professional, Andy, was personable, knowledgeable, and very honest. My husband and I left there excited and are now new customers! They offered a deal we couldn't refuse that was specific for our circumstances. Bravo! We will be referring others. (The free cruise was a BONUS!)

Fantastic experience: Great new information on a new way to travel, for less money out of pocket. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the travel industry. The gifts they gave us for attending the event are great and I can't wait to use them. If you plan on taking a vacation in the next year, you need to attend this event!

Positive experience: I enjoyed the opportunity but it was too expensive for me to manage as a single mother. The offers are incredible. The free travel, restaurant voucher, etc are not free because you have to pay the taxes and fees.
