Thank you for this shout out for Jamie's work! While our physical locations are closing next July, we aren’t going far. We will still be able to support all your travel planning and other services; we will just be doing it differently. All our travel advisors will be available just like if they were in a store, but now we can connect with you through video chat, phone calls, or even a meet-and-greet at a local coffee shop.
Fantastic experience: I came here to get an international driver's permit and even though I was not a member, I was deeply impressed at their cheerful attitude and helpful demeanor. I got what I needed and was on my way rapidly for a very fair price.

Negative experience: We've had AAA Washington for over 5 years. We've had to use it 2 times. Today being the second. We were told someone would be there WITHIN the hour. It's already been OVER 4 HOURS. Every time I call we're told we will get a call back because they "aren't sure" what's going on. NOT ONE PERSON has called us back. I've had to call over 6 times and each time they have no clue about our call or what's happening. I talked to an actual supervisor who said she would call back within 30 mins. I call back at 45 mins and no one can tell me why she hasn't called. This is absolutely insane and I can't believe we waste the $ on this membership when dispatch is so UNORGANIZED and IMCOMPETENT. Truly remarkable how terrible they are.

Fantastic experience: Worked with Steve J. who has been amazing. He has gone through each of my policies to see what I need. I walked out of there with better coverage for a fraction of what i had been paying elsewhere. He asks questions to make sure you're getting what you need at the best price possible. My only regret is that I didn't switch to AAA sooner.

Fantastic experience: Went to doc appt and when I came out, car would not start. I have had AAA for many and many years. Always there to save my bacon. Got a jump start but technician diagnosed alternator not working. Was advised not to drive it even to home which was 2 miles. Towed to mechanic. I am 69 and no mechanic - AAA is worth every penny to me. Every single woman, elderly person needs this coverage.

Negative experience: Called for help. All I needed was someone to jump my battery. They told me there was no one to help me and that I should try again tomorrow. What am I paying AAA for? There’s no one available to do the most basic, the simplest form of auto repair? I have used their service 3 times in the entire 3 years that I have been a customer. They got real petty with me on the phone, talking about this is the last time that I can call them for help. They told me that if I needed someone to jump my battery tonight, that I needed to find the person myself and then jump through all kinds of hoops, online and over the phone, to submit the invoice to AAA for them to reimburse me. What a scam. They should change their name from AAA to C-. I don’t even understand how there is no one available to jump a battery. How is it possible to get a tow somewhere, but not a simple jump? The math isn’t adding up

Fantastic experience: What can you say about how great AAA is? Cheap insurance. Do you know how much a tow is now during Bidenflation? I very much recommend AAA.
Negative experience: I’ve been member for over 30 years, since I moved to Olympia I’ve been at the Olympia’s aaa office two times and their customer service staff was rude. They made me feel discriminated, I just don’t feel welcome in there anymore.

Negative experience: AAAtowed my vehicle, but refused to release my towing records as evidence requested in support of an insurance matter. Seems like AAA is in cahoots to take advantage of the consumer. Told me that I had to hire a lawyer to get a subpoena of MY PAID tow records. TAKE VIDEO AND PICTURES AND ARRIVE ON SITE TO TAKE ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE. Anyways, I ended getting my AAA records and pictures through a backdoor source.
Negative experience: So I have been having problems using the website to get service to jump my car and they are saying I used up all my tows when I have only used one because they told me that my box truck can't be towed by them when I payed for RV AAA and I payed $820 out of pocket to get my box truck to my mother in laws house

Fantastic experience: I first contacted AAA Washington requesting a quote for insurance on my vehicles, boat, and home. Although it took me three months to gather my information and make a decision, Jason at AAA Washington kept me informed and continued keeping me in the loop and I successfully transferred all my policies and am saving over $200 a year with this change.

Negative experience: I paid for the premier level for the 200 miles towing because my car was broke down and was told that there was a 5 day delay in my premier service and that they would only tow us 5 miles out of my 200 mile package even after I informed them that I am disabled and on oxygen. And my oxygen is running low. They said they couldn't make an exception even with me being disabled and on oxygen. They left me stranded with my dog and friend. And was told they don't make any exceptions even for disabled people. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR THEIR SAFETY. I'M SITTING AND SLEEPING IN OUR CAR AND AM MORE THAN LIKELY GOING TO LOSE MY CAR DUE TO THEIR NO EXCEPTION POLICY. LEAVING ME STRANDED WITH MY OXYGEN RUNNING LOW AND ABOUT 150 MILES FROM HOME. WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR AAA IT WAS NEVER STATED THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT FOR 5 DAYS TO USE THE BENIFITS OF THE PACKAGE I PURCHASED. I'M NOT IN A POSITION THAT I'M ABLE TO WAIT 5 DAYS TO BE ABLE TO USE MY TOWING BENIFITS. ALL THEY DID WAS ARGUE WITH ME AND LEFT ME STRANDED EVEN KNOWING THAT I WAS DISABLED AND ON OXYGEN. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS JOKE OF A ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE!!!!
Since AAA cannot meet your needs, we have cancelled your membership and refunded your dues.
Negative experience: I have been with Triple A for years and I pay for RV plus because that's what they said I needed to tow plumbing van if it ever needed it and it did a couple times over the years. I had one die on me this evening and called Triple A and they say "we are phasing out towing any vehicle with a company logo" I'm like well you haven't let your customers know that I'm stranded on the side of the road at 6pm on Labor Day weekend I've been with you paying for RV plus for years they didn't care and would not help me obviously I'll be canceling my membership and letting everyone know not to pay for Triple A they will leave you stranded when you need them even though you have PREPAID for the RV plus HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Negative experience: We’ve bought a trip from AAA in January 2018 and we had a horrible experience. Mary Lightfoot was extremely rude to us from the first minute we've started working with her. We bought our trip pretty fast, but for this short amount of time we were greatly affronted. I’ve never seen such a poor service before in my life. She was acting like she is totally tired of her job and she’s really hates her clients. I was feeling very awkwardly sitting there in front of her because she’s even didn’t try to hide her distaste to me and my friend. When we were ready to buy the tickets she gave us a night flight which is very uncomfortable and we asked her very very nicely “Could you please take a look for another tickets maybe for a day flight, if it’s possible” She’s got really mad about such a simple question. She raised her voice and said “WE DO NOT HAVE ANOTHER TIME”. She is just not able to talk to her customers properly! And another moment, it was very important for us is to buy the trip package with travel insurance, because the country we're going to travel is not safe and we asked her twice “Does this price include the insurance?” And she answered twice “Yes, insurance is included” I can prove that because I’ve had a notepad and a pen and I was writing down all the information and prices she gave us. When we received our paperwork on the second page it said "Travel insurance is declined". I was unpleasantly surprised and I asked Mary “You said that we're going to have an insurance in our package, I told you is very important for us. Why the insurance is declined?” and she said with very rude voice “Because you didn’t purchase one” I was shocked, how she could lie to us like that? We had no problems with money and we were ready to pay for everything just please give us a decent level of service. Of course we’ll never going to get back to AAA agency again and in my opinion agents like Mary Lightfoot shouldn’t work with people at all.

Negative experience: Waited (still waiting) over 3 hrs in the dark for help with a flat. Called to tell them I was still waiting and they had to find another service provider because the first never showed. Unacceptable, scary and unsafe. Will cancel membership when I get home.

Negative experience: We joined and found out when we used them that they would not pay for our tow. They did pay for the first 5 mi of the tow though. There is apparently a 5 day period from the time of purchase where you are only covered up to 5 miles and the rest you have to pay for. We had to pay almost $300 for our tow. THANKS A LOT. We will probably never need to use them as our cars are in relatively good condition. We purchased this for peace of mind and got left with a huge bill. I feel like we gave them$100 of our money to take advantage of us. Talk about unethical/predatory behavior.
Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the Auto Club for over 30 years, both in Washington and California. During this period, I have had dealings with several different offices. I want to acknowledge that the office in Olympia has been exceptional, both in terms of service and the overall quality of their staff. Many of my dealings have been with Jamie Nichols at the front desk and Chris Blaser in the travel section. These two individuals have been consistently amazing with regard to their base of knowledge, their service to me as a customer, their follow-through, and their interpersonal skill sets. I am deeply appreciative to this office and especially to these two individuals for making my travel experiences so much easier.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time to the Olympia AAA location. I was switching my membership from California to Washington since I have just moved up here. The staff was extremely helpful and offered many additional services, although I did not need any of them currently. They have a very cool setup, as they have a lot of travel gear within the store itself. It kind of gets you excited for the travel experience ahead. I have not yet used AAA for traveling, but I will in the future. I look forward to working with them.
