Fantastic experience: Nick came out to help me in the brockport/Holley area when my truck battery died on the 20th and he was super prompt, very professional and friendly. I was impressed with his speed, when i needed to call for the jump start i was worried about being late to work but i was barely late at all! He was at my house within 15 minutes of when i originally put in the service request. Thanks again for your help and good service!!

Negative experience: This is really only about the online defensive driving course they offer via "Fusion, a Certus company." Avoid it like the plague! The frequency of technical glitches is unbelievable. I'm unaware of alternatives for such training but there's GOT to be something out there where you don't want to pull your hair out for ~8 hrs.

Fantastic experience: AAA Greece, NY is my #1 call for roadside assistance during emergencies. They consistently arrive within a reasonable timeframe—often earlier than expected. The roadside assistance team is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and always goes above and beyond, both locally and when I'm out of town. I also greatly appreciate their travel resources, including TripTiks, maps, and AAA Digital TourBooks. Their service is truly unmatched!

Negative experience: There's not a chance in hell that I'm renewing your, so called service... "28" years as a member & the only two times I've reached out for help, I was denied. Once because I was towing a trailer & just recently because you considered the van I was driving an RV... You're basically an insurance policy, that when my family is stranded, AAA comes to the rescue. Insted, you act like lawyers hiding behind small print & technicalities. I've paid over $8,000 over the years with the false sense of security that when I need you, you'll be there... Because I did need you & all you did was delay making things worse as you asked your many questions in an effort to disqualify the request for assistance... I'm not interested in a conversation, or mapping out what additional coverage would have covered that situation, because I can't trust you.. What happens when I get a flat tire on a rental car??? What happens when I'm in a State or National Park... You're either going to be there, or you're not.... And twice... You took my money & you didn't show up!!!

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and very courteous. April in Greece was the best! When our flight from Puerto Rico suddenly disappeared and was rebooked without our knowledge, she was able to assist us with seats on return flight which was not optimal but not her fault. Negative experience: I stopped by to pay the balance on a trip we booked through AAA yesterday. I have been a member of AAA for a long time. There was a receptionist, 3 agents on their computers (with no customers in front of them) and a woman training a new employee. I waited for 7 minutes while one agent put chap stick on, another got up and went to the bathroom, none of them even acknowledged I was there. Finally the receptionist went and spoke to the woman training the new employee and returned and said she would get to me in 15 minutes. Very poor customer relations and service. It would have taken 3 minutes to process my payment. But because the agent I booked with wasn’t there no on else wanted to assist me. Do better Greece team. You can do so much better in acknowledging the presence of a person sitting in front of you.

Negative experience: I know people have to be taught and learn how to drive. And I'm not sure why you guys always practice down in Charlotte on our vehicles. I'm sorry, but vehicles are expensive, And if damage is created, you don't know if someone will tell you or not, and even if they tell you really don't want to go through that. Is trying to avoid damage to a Fifty thousand dollar silverado because they want to practice. Trying to avoid damage at all cost. Is there somewhere else in the city of rochester that you can teach people how to drive? Is tired of our cars being guinea pigs. There is a beach parking lot you're more than welcome To use that is open to the public.

Negative experience: FYI, Currently neither location in Rochester (Penfield nor Greece) can print passport photos. (I needed an IDP -- which requires passport photos, and AAA is the only location capable of doing IDPs so made the most sense to have everything done at an AAA location). After visiting the Penfield location and being told they couldnt print passport photos, I called to confirm the Greece location could print them and was told to come in -- they can do it. Upon arrival just a few hours later, the werent able to do it. The entire office appeared to know "its finicky" and they all seemed to think it was some kind of joke that is just regularly doesn't work. (They claimed it worked earlier in the day ... yeah, okay). They were blaming Spectrum. They were blaming the printer. They were blaming the wifi. I'm just saying, in 2023 it should be dead simple to print a couple pictures. If its really that difficult to have a set procedure to make it work, and/or reliable equipment, then maybe AAA corporate needs to re-design the passport photo process or stop offering the passport photo service. The worst part is that everyone seems to know its a problem, but no one is doing anything about it. Yay corporate America! Getting my pictures elsewhere cost more than double the AAA member price for passport photos ... good thing I have that membership tho [eye roll].

Negative experience: Caused more issues than help. Called for roadside tow Friday during snowstorm with girlfriend and child. Towtruck couldn't come for an hour. Was told to leave car there and they would get it, because of conditions and that their tow couldn't meet expectations. They never did for 5 hours, causing police to look for me and for the car to be impounded 6 hours after my call. This includes receiving false texts that they did indeed pick it up. Fast forward to today, I spent 5 hours and a missing vehicle report trying to find my car, only to find out they lied to me and now I am on the hook for the impound fees they refuse to pay, even though they admit they sent those false texts, and admit they didn't do their duties on time that we pay a subscription for. I am now on the hook for $100s of dollars in fees just to get my car back, because this company will take your money and lie to you, and tell you that even though they told you to leave the car, that we 'ambandoned' it. Their solution to the problem was for me to go back to the past and, as a disabled person and my 7 year old to stay in a disabled car facing oncoming traffic for 5 or 6 hours and wait for a 2nd tow truck that never ended up coming. Want to die in a snowstorm or lose your car because of a major corporations fraud and inability to take accountability? Sign up for this service and they can definitely do that for you. Otherwise, stay far away. They can't deliver their promises. Even the shops that support them said they suck hard. Edit: they now tried to send me a reply to get the matter fixed after the fact of me paying everything and they deny it and lied about the pick up, then deleted it. I even gave them a chance to tow it from the impound to the shop it was supposed to go to and they said no. So the local businesses went above and beyond to help, while AAA flounders and makes excuses. Not only will they leave you out in the cold to suffer, they will lie to you about it too!

Fantastic experience: I registered for driving lessons and am super happy student, many thanks to my instructor, coach Moody who made it so easy for me to learn and understand how to drive. Negative experience: I called about 3 weeks ago to schedule an appointment at the Greece, NY location to make travel arrangements. Don't know who I talked to, but they were obviously put out and said she would have someone contact me. No one ever did. I had used the Pittsford location previously and they were always helpful. Unfortunately, they closed. Going to try another location.

Negative experience: Had a car accident and needed a rental car. Stopped into AAA and asked if they could please help me find a rental car. As a 51 year member, I just wanted to locate a rental with the best possible rate. A staff member took my membership card and came back and stated sorry you have to call the main AAA number." Maybe they can help. Not exactly what I would call service by any means. And not like they were very busy at the time. Pretty sad service.

Negative experience: I blew a rear drivers side tire yesterday on 490E right around noon. Right in front of Gates-Chili HS. Very busy stretch of highway. called 911 as it was not a safe situation due to location. Roadside Assistance was not easy to reach. took several calls to get a person, not a link to request service. Advised them of call to 911 and unsafe situation. MCS stayed for about 30 minutes as Tow was to come in 30 minutes. Actually took 2 hours! I had to call AAA twice for status. Tow then took me to the incorrect service garage. I had to drive down the street to the correct location to put the donut tire on as it was not safe to change the tire on the highway. All in took over 3 hours. It was a cluster.

Negative experience: This is by far the worst AAA place that offers service. The person sent to help me was late by several hours. I received text after text about there being a delay. 6PM all the way until 11:15PM is unreasonable. My family and I will very likely cancel our membership. Why pay monthly/yearly for a service that does not do their job?

Negative experience: Really unimpressed with what membership offered on a visit to the Greece location. Unable to get a trip tik for an upcoming trip - takes a week per the desk. I don't have a week. Unable to talk to anyone other than the front reception - make an appointment and comeback some other time. Asked for any information on my trip and was given a map of the US and told to use the app. I can buy a map at Walgreens and Google can get me where I need to go if this is what AAA is offering today for members. It really feels like AAA is out of touch with providing the added value that made their services worthwhile in the past. Your paper tour guides, a couple of maps, and a trip tik in hand is what set you apart. Going all digital does nothing to set you apart from everyone else on the internet that can provide me the same services for free. Pretty disappointed that I walked out of your Greece location with a United States map in hand and directions to fire up the app. And to wrap it up, when I plugged my destination into your app and hit "go", it took me to the Google maps on my phone for the route/directions.

Negative experience: In 2020 I came to this location with the intention of applying for an international driver's permit for a job I was hired for in Japan. When I went there and told them what I was there for, they told me "You aren't going anywhere" and ordered me to leave. Needless to say, they were wrong, and I've been in Japan ever since. I don't know if it's the same staff now as it was then, but their actions really put my job in serious jeopardy for a while and it's solely thanks to their needlessly overzealous actions. The building is clean and has nice natural lighting though.

Negative experience: AAA in Greece was good but the AAA in St Petersburg, FL was horrible. Yesterday I had to make 4 phone calls and waited over 2 hours to get a battery jump. It's almost what one would expect from a third world country. The Florida AAA is inept. The first three calls I made were a waste of time and effort because the representatives never contacted service provider (although they basically lied and said that a service provider was on the way). The fourth rep I spoke with admitted that the other reps did not summon help and she took care of it. AAA in Florida gets a FFFF rating from me in that they ignored our several (many) requests for service. Makes one wonder what in the hell we get from paying for ôî7 this service.

Positive experience: It would be helpful that since you are now requiring customers to wear masks that you would alert people on your website and also offer your customers masks at the door - especially since masks are no longer required by the cdc. Being vaccinated was one of the benefits in being vaccinated! Being forced to wear masks is not okay and just a beginning of people speaking up and no longer utilizing establishments like yours that are now mandating this as a requirement

Fantastic experience: I want to praise the the great job Coach Moody did with my daughter today for her road test. He was completely professional and comprehensive in his teaching methods. My daughter said he put her at ease and gave her great tips that helped her pass. He definitely gave her confidence in her driving abilities she did not have at previous tests she failed. 100% will recommend . Another A+ service from AAA.

Fantastic experience: WOW! I walked in and it is open space, and it is so beautiful. The ppl that work there looked so relaxed, like they were in a coffee shop, they looked very professional as well. The coffee smell is so strong, from next door, I was expecting everyone to have Starbucks coffee cups on their desk, lol. I was looking for the AAA complimentary coffee, it makes me feel nice and welcomed, but I didn't see it. I guess because Starbucks is next door. I am happy the AAA moved there. I pray it makes the ppl that work there feel good, because walking in there made me feel very good (except coffee)! Thanks AAA, for such great services and discounts, I think AAA, is the best place to be insured with!

Fantastic experience: Response was fast. Griffs was slow in getting diagnose of problems with car. They charged way to much. 120.00 just to tell me what was wrong with my car.

Negative experience: My husband and I started to book our trip to Punta Cana for February 2020 in September 2019 and were not officially booked until January 31, 2020....that was after we worked with two different AAA agents, Donna and then Christopher. Emails and phone calls were not responded to by either agent for days or weeks on end. They were always too busy for us-in other meetings or had “no access to email.” The lack of customer service was extremely disappointing and added a lot of frustration to my life. I am thankful that we ended up having a fantastic trip, but the hoops to jump through to get there were unbelievable!

Negative experience: I drove especially to this location to secure a Trip Tik, maps and tour books. According to the website, it is a full service location. When I checked in and said I would like to order these items, I was told that they do not provide that service and that I could go to the Penfield office for that. To say the least, I was ( and still am) VERY disappointed this happened and seriously considered discontinuing my family membership ( member since 1985)! Please update your website so others do not experience the same disappointment and dissatisfaction!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: This new location for the Greece, NY AAA is far worse than the old location. Much more difficult to enter and exit, and much fewer parking spaces. The office space is far smaller than old location. Now there is no travel gear such as the great selection they used to have of suitcases, and other assorted great travel gear you could buy there. And no free coffee/hot cocoa anymore, need I go on? However, staff is still great, at least they've still got that going for them. To me this NY AAA move was a blunder.
We realize that the new Greece location will cause a change in the way you obtain AAA services, but we are confident we can still deliver the quality products you enjoy at the current Greece location. Debbie
