Fantastic experience: Christopher came out to help us , AKA cowboy , what a great guy and so helpful to us! He spent time telling us what we needed to do for my son’s older jeep . He was so knowledgeable and extremely friendly! Couldn’t be happier with my service this evening !
Negative experience: Used to be great, but now roadside assistance NEVER COMES. Expect to wait for hours no matter what time of day or night.
Fantastic experience: These service guys are great: so polite, professional and courteous! Harry has towed my truck twice and he is nothing short of impressive.
Fantastic experience: Had a flat tire on April 25 on my rental car. Stuck on the side of I-10. Frank and BJ arrived promptly. No spare in the trunk. They called Zach who showed up with the flatbed. Took me and the car back to Tallahassee and dropped me off at a Discount Tires store. Service provided by the AAA crew was above and beyond. Thanks again, guys!
Fantastic experience: Very friendly and helpful
Negative experience: Premier member since 1999. Have four names on the account. Car overheated on a Friday at 7 PM. Called AAA two times. They said I was in a queue. They never showed up. At 2:30 AM I canceled the request and called a family member to pick me up. Finally had a friend with a toe rope pull my vehicle home. Called on Monday to find out why a tow truck never came. They said they could not find a tow truck to take the call. For the $357 annual fee, I could’ve called a tow truck myself.
Negative experience: AAA has become difficult to use and therefore useless. Over 10 years with them but it’s ridiculous now

Negative experience: Someone from AAA had a service at a friends house; he wildly excreted outside of her home on camera. AAA was called with no response.
Fantastic experience: Thoughtful, considerate and accommodating. Through no fault of AAA I have had to get my passport pictures taken 5 times. I was not charged each time. Thank you. Also many years ago (25) AAA flat bedded my vehicle, later that afternoon my mechanic called To say he could not wait any longer. I told him my car was picked up at 9:30 that morning. He gave me a phone number to call. I called and explained my situation and he said he would call me back. He did and explained that the truck had broken down. He arranged to have my car picked up it was still on the side of the road and arranged to have it locked up for the night. He then asked me how I got his phone number and I explained that my mechanic gave it to me. He asked for his name and I told him he was a British car only mechanic. He told me the mechanic had testified in court for AAA and the was was won. I then asked who he was because I did not know who he was. He then told me ha was the President of AAA. He did not delicate the task tp someone else and called me himself, of course I have always had a soft sot for AAA. Thank you. Joy Crawford
Negative experience: Came in to find out about universal annual pass as told to do on their website for Florida residents, but they didn't know anything about it. Then when asked about pricing, they said they can only give info that to members. So basically, hide benefits and expect potential customers to make an informed decision without transparency
Negative experience: My truck blew a axle and ran off the road. I called AAA TO come and tow me home After 5 hrs I am still sitting and waiting for the wrecker. No calls from AAA after I called back was told two more hours. Don’t waste your money on this it should not take this long.
Fantastic experience: Great and timely service!!
Negative experience: I am a AAA member and have been for six years. I have never been so disappointed with the company as I am AAA right now. My car has been broke down since yesterday at 3 PM. It is now 10 o’clock the next day and still, no one has showed up to tow my car, even though I got a text at 3 AM saying they were on their way. 19 hours is ridiculous to have to wait for a tow truck to show up. I can’t imagine why I would have to pay for emergency services whenever I am receiving no service.
Fantastic experience: Crystal came out to help us. She is super sweet and attentive! She was also timely and took great Care of us. I’m honestly so impressed with her level of customer service and I’m extremely appreciative of her help and service.
Negative experience: Only one person trying to help everyone. We gave up and settled for a few maps when we wanted travel agent help.
Negative experience: Requested a jump @ 5, called me back finally@ 8:30 am once I had already gotten a stranger's help & was home. Just don't bother paying for this in N Florida. AAA doesn't respond.

Negative experience: The absolute worst, absolutely trash. I have been waiting for 5:30 hours for road side assistance on a simple car jump. They just send you fake messages of ETAs and “driver will be there in 20 minutes” bulljive. I am getting my money back. Don’t do business with these scammers
Fantastic experience: I don't know how, but my phone was almost dead and I didn't quite know where we were. But when I requested roadside service they responded right away. They found us, and thanks to them we were safe. I'm so thankful for my AAA service. And also to the driver who found me despite not being from this area. Thank you.

Negative experience: Selling this service is fraud. Twice we broke down, twice no one came to tow him. We had to call Ability Towing (good people) and get it done ourselves. The state of Florida should investigate for criminal charges.
Negative experience: This is the absolute worst roadside assistance company I have ever experienced. I purchased this membership to keep my family safe while traveling. I have to use them twice recently and the first service call took over 4 hrs and my most recent tow request took almost 3 hrs. I will definitely be looking for a new roadside service. Maybe others have been satisfied with AAA but I am very disappointed

Negative experience: I give them a zero rating. My car broke down in a parking lot and I called AAA thinking that someone would help me. No one did. I called and they said it would be 90 minutes, after an hour I called again and the excuse was that they couldn't find any tows available and waiting I called again. The bottom line is they NEVER showed up and I was stranded. I had to depend on the kindness of strangers to get me home. Don't ever call AAA. It is a joke and they will never ever help you.

Negative experience: Laughably awful. They SAY "your safety and savings start today!" and then charge you if you need your club within three days of purchase. Their customer service is both rude and slow. I have been yelled at by a representative on the phone and gaslight via their social media (they apologize for my expectations, not their lack of living up to their end of the bargain). They trade on name recognition instead of holding themselves to any kind of acceptable standards. Every time I've needed a tow, I've been told I'd start receiving updates in ten minutes, had to call back and been told it would be several hours. 0/10 would not recommend. Go with Allstate Motor Club or the motor club offered through your insurance.
Negative experience: If you have AAA do not not renew your membership. We called for a tow at 11:25 am and at 4:30 pm after many calls and being put on hold (and dropped) by AAA we finally heard from the tow truck driver at 4:50 PM! This is the 3rd thim THIS year we have had an issue with them.

Negative experience: Pathetic Service for a 40 year customer. Wife locked keys in car. Called AAA. Be there in 90 minutes. 2 HOURS go By- nothing. I call Dispatcher. "Should be pulling up right now" NOPE. 45 minutes later wife calls Dispatcher again. "Be there in 45 minutes". Never showed. This is inexcusable. I found spare set and neighbor drove me to location. Still after another hour no show, no call no anything. Demanding a refund!!!

Negative experience: I have been waiting an hour and have not heard back yet with an ETA. I’m calling a tow company direct. I am canceling my AAA. Reading all these bad reviews I wonder how they stay in business.
Negative experience: My young adult son had a flat tire on the Florida turnpike at 1am and AAA roadside assistance told him it would be 2 hours before assistance would arrive. He you-tubed how to change a tire and did it himself. Why do we even have coverage?
Fantastic experience: Chris Daily saved the day! (First experience needing/using AAA) Car got stuck in Reverse at an elementary school, luckily I was able to get to a parking spot & use emergency brake. Called AAA that morning and asked if they cld meet at the school around 9:30am when the parkinglot was clear of parents, and he arrived slightly early! Chris was able to get the car in Drive so we cld avoid the tow. All the young kids watched excitedly as he worked and loved seeing the big tow truck pull up to save us. Chris even gave some toy tow trucks to the elementary class!!! So Chris Daily saved the day for both me and my family as well as the kids watching♡
Fantastic experience: Ok. You can book all of the online stuff you want. I will NEVER book with anyone other than Kimberly here at the AAA office in Tallahassee. We had some logistic trouble during our vacay. Kimberly was there for us. She turned into a super hero and saved the day. Our issues had nothing to do with anything she was even involved with, yet she grabbed ahold and took care of everything for us. Thank you for everything Kimberly . You’re the best.
Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not use this company. They made us wait 4 1/2 hours to get our car towed after saying it would only be one. They gave no notice that the time was being pushed back.
Negative experience: Zero would be more accurate. We waited for 6 hours on 1-10 after dark. No tow arrived despite the app's countdown telling us it would arrive "soon". The countdown went to 0 and hours later and multiple phone calls later we were told a truck had not yet been dispatched. We managed to barely get the car to a safe-ish location off the road so we could go home. The next day, we tried again. End result? 21 hours of waiting, 8 phone calls to AA, and no help arrived. I ended up calling a local service. They showed up in less than an hour. AAA apologized and assured us they would refund our membership as we decided to cancel the useless service. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. THEY NEVER DISPATCHED A TOW TRUCK. THEY NEVER REFUNDED OUR MONEY. Don't waste your money and time.
Fantastic experience: I had a great time @ AAA! Kimberly and Cameron helped me so much. Cameron helped me buy some gift cards. Kimberly helped me unsnarl some problems with membership charge and offered to have someone call me about investment program! If you are not a member, perhaps you should think about joining. They take care of you. These days, it's way more than road service!
Fantastic experience: Tallahassee AAA’s staff were amicable and unbelievably helpful. They answered all my questions and got me my IDP in about 5 minutes. This really is a great business.
Negative experience: I have been a member since 2001 and added both my daughters to my membership when they started driving. We rarely have used AAA and within the last year between the 3 of us have used it one time. I was shocked to have received a letter today that AAA is not renewing my membership because of disproportionate use of services. I thought that this had to be a mistake so I called the number on the letter and spoke to a Matthew. I was told basically that this was a generic letter that covers lots of things, there is NO appeal process, he couldn't give me any details only examples of reasons which did not apply to me, that maybe in a year or so I could reapply, enjoy my remaining service which ends June 30th, and to have a nice day. Matthew was very pleasant and allowed me time to talk but he was just reading a script and was no help at all. I still have no reason as to why??? Before today I would have recommended AAA for peace of mind but I can no longer do that. Membership is under my name Terry not my husband's name.

Negative experience: I have been a AAA member since 2012. Gold card carrying "Plus" member and I have never used the service until this past weekend when I ran over some road debris and blew out my 2 passenger side tires. My first call to AAA was Friday 3/25/22 at 7:04pm about getting a tow on Saturday morning. I was told by AAA that I needed to call on the same day I wanted service. So I set my alarm and called at 12:37am on Saturday (3/26/22) because I wanted to have my Jeep towed to Tire Kingdom prior to them opening at 8am. On that call I was told I needed to call within 60-90 minutes of wanting the tow. So I called back at 5:50am (3/26/22) and scheduled my tow with AAA. They said the tow truck driver would call me prior to arriving at my home BUT the tow was scheduled. After waiting 2 hours I called AAA back and asked about my tow. I was told (this time) that the tow service they use was experiencing high volumes of calls and AAA would reach out to them again. Within 10 minutes the tow truck driver (Coastal Towing) called me and said he had just gotten the call from their dispatch. He was on his way and would call me when he was in my neighborhood. Well- needless to say he called me 10 minutes later standing in my driveway. There are not many tow companies that want to service AAA because they firstly, do not make as much for the tow and secondly, AAA dispatch is terrible with communication. This young man that towed me was very nice and he had been up most of the night towing other people (it was only 8:20am on Saturday morning). He got me to Tire Kingdom quickly and safely and I appreciate how respectful and kind he was. Remember this: be kind to the tow truck driver coming to rescue you. You are NOT the only AAA customer on the road. If AAA was a better company and paid their service providers more; they would have more tow truck companies to provide service. Everyone wants to be towed within 30 minutes of their call to AAA. Well, that is not going to happen. Cancel your AAA membership and pay out-of-pocket for a tow and you can get amazing service. Be patient if you are calling AAA- they do not have a great track record for providing great customer service. Be prepared to wait and call back numerous times. I'm just thankful that I was safe, not hurt, and I was able to get my vehicle towed.
Fantastic experience: They were able to get a locksmith out to me within an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon/evening when I was down at st. Marks. They were able to get my car unlocked. Gave me a courtesy call when they were on their way
Negative experience: Worse service ever. They literally told me times then I’d call back near the time and they would tell me it would be longer. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Over 3 hours too get someone too come pop a lock absolutely ridiculous. Whoever running triple A’s service center for this area needs too be fired asap.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service from Cameron Y. She helped me create an efficient routing from Tallahassee to Chattanooga that completely avoids the horrendous traffic of Atlanta. Your friendly service was greatly appreciated.

Negative experience: we have used AAA for over 25 years. we always have an issue with the tow service they send. we generally wait 4,5, 8 hours for a tow truck to arrive. we have even had them not show up at all. they dispatch 5 star towing which is the worst. Don't sign up for AAA in Tallahassee. We have waited 4.5 hours today and the app shows they have arrived. No tow truck here.

Negative experience: Prices for car insurance appeared reasonable and since AAA has been around for years, a member of our family obtained insurance with this company. Turned out, the insurance people lack in skill, professionalism and honesty. A member of our family was T-boned at a traffic light on a weekend day and AAA was closed. Unable to report the accident for three days, a vehicle was needed to work. After weeks went by, offender's insurance took responsibility and determined vehicle, boat and trailer were all totaled. Only vehicle was covered by AAA. AAA knew the vehicle was totaled, and still notified DMV that the member of our family was driving this totaled vehicle without insurance. Recommendation: do not obtain AAA insurance.
Fantastic experience: My daughter had a dead battery in Tallahassee and Fred showed up from AAA. She said he was the nicest person she had ever met. That is a huge compliment from a 22 year old. She really appreciated him and the gratitude that she tipped him. Thanks for taking care of my Baby!

Negative experience: On two separate occasions I had to call because keys were locked in the vehicle. Both times it took them over 3 hours to get to our locations even though we were told one hour. Both times they didn't actually send anyone to we called multiple times.
Positive experience: The service is great and worth the money. I called the customer service number that has called me since Covid hit and the lady snapped at me and said she didn't know how I got her number. She did later say she was the AAA lady and would call me back in 2 weeks. I just wanted travel i information, so not a huge deal. I just think I will use someone else for that part and AAA for automotive needs

Negative experience: I’ve been in my car for seven hours waiting for a tow because none of the four people that answered the phone for AAA offered for a contactless pickup. I shouldn’t have to keep calling back for hours mad because I’ve been up all night in my car waiting for a tow that atill has not showed up. I’m supposed to work a double today so I’ve already had to call out of my first shift because AAA did NOT come thru when I needed them to.

Negative experience: I have had AAA for about 20yrs and only had used them once before but on Valentine's day I went trail riding with my boyfriend and got stuck . I called AAA and shared a pin drop to the tow truck to where I was located. On maps it looked like I was in the middle of a lake but I told them the lake had been dried up for months and now was trails to ride. The ground was solid everywhere but the one spot we got stuck inn. The tow truck driver AAA sent said he was coming but instead called the police and then when I called him back asking if he had called the police he said no and hung up on me. I tried calling him back several times and he wouldn't answer. We had to leave the vehicle and walk through the mud and cold to get to the main road. The police sent a search helicopter with a spot light even though I told them we were okay just were stuck. The police said they wouldn't pull us out but they just wanted to make sure we were okay. By the time we made it to the main road we were met by 3 police cars and explained what had happened and they said they were just checking on us but wouldn't give us a ride. Fantastic experience: Lovely people in the office. Ms. HeatherLee, was a wonderful agent. She helped me for a couple of hours to find me the best insurance quote that can be offered. She was very informative and provided me with important information about insurance policies and what the different policies are for.

Negative experience: We have had AAA for over 35 yrs.the service has been horrible the last few yrs.Our calls have been dropped and our vehicle was towed and dropped off at wrong location.We had to go find our vehicle.They keep using Grants towing and 5 Star towing.they are same company.The suck and give AAA a bad reputation.Our last tow the driver broke my daughter's ball joint because he didn't know what he was doing.Hope our case will be settled and don't use Grants towing or 5 Star towing when calling AAA.
Negative experience: Do not purchase triple aaa roadside service. I sat on the side of the road for 2 hours and 15 minutes before the tow truck finally came. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company.
Negative experience: If you want to wait 4 hours for your car to get towed, choose AAA. They offer the worst road side assistance out of any company I’ve ever dealt with. I highly advise to stay away from this garbage company.

Negative experience: Don’t use the auto renewal feature! They will drop you And will make no attempt to notify you of a problem regardless of who’s fault it is and they could not care less when you have a problem. Doesn’t matter how many years you pay them there is no loyalty with AAA.
