Fantastic experience: Very fun spot for a date night, my host was Brendon. Cool dude lightened the mood and made us comfortable broke the ice well and told us his story and thought he cool dude. All the staff here are patient and pretty accommodating. favorite part was the shooting but I'll definitely go back because i wanna make another shirt and hat. Please go in gear you can get messy the protection only does so much, bring extra because they have more you can paint and take home and tip your host.

Negative experience: Never went but they’ve ignored me every time I’ve reached out. Rude! All I wanted to know is if you could go solo, guessing the answer is no (single person discrimination!) and even the answer was yes I don’t know if I would knowing the way their customer service is

Fantastic experience: The staff was super friendly and chill! They played vibey music (think r&b alternative vibes). We did not feel rushed and we had a wonderful instructor (I think her name was Kyra? Sorry if I said it wrong!!) we got to know her and she was so patient and created a safe and welcoming space for us! My partner and I made 2 completely unique art pieces true to ourselves. It’s a pricey experience but worth every penny. We are not artists at all. This was our first experience. Biggest advice: let go of the control (or try) and just try the process! Lol

Fantastic experience: So much fun. Instructor had the same bday as me and we were born on the same day. We came late cause we had trouble finding the location but they still accommodated us and let us have a great experience. 10/10. Only thing I wish we did was get our shots of art delivered but will forever remember the experience. Check them out!

Fantastic experience: SO FUN!! I came with my partner and it’s been a crazy fun experience to make art together! We chose a large canvas, but here's a little tip: go bold with the color! You might have trouble capturing the shade you want if your aim isn't spot on—haha!

Positive experience: It’s an Ok experience, but not worth the money. The actual experience lasts for not more than 20 minutes, depending on how many balloons you have to shoot, but it’s super short anyway.

Fantastic experience: So much fun! We did the Romantic Date package which included painting hats, fluid art, spin art, and shooting paint filled balloons with a bb gun. Had a blast and made some really cool pieces. Emanuel was our guide and he was the best!!

Negative experience: Sadly everyone should know that these full body suits are completely ineffective. We had to sign a waiver stating we MIGHT get some paint on us, but unfortunately we were both completely covered under the suit. Pants, shirts, socks completely ruined - most expensive date ever unfortunately given the paint does not come out no matter what. Please be careful

Positive experience: Bookmarked this place for a while now and finally got to check it out the other day with my team for an event. We did some spin art, shooting balloons filled with paint and colored our canvas and wall. Such a fun activity to do after work with the team :) The neon paint room was really cool. Each room fits a party of 10 and we had 2 groups rotating between the regular and neon room, both were fun!

Fantastic experience: So much fun! Loved the space + making the piece (I booked a Group Fluid Art class on a Friday afternoon but ended up being the only one — so a nice private lesson!) I will so be back + I have friends already interested after I showered them my piece! :)

Fantastic experience: Shot of Art is a different kind of art studio where you can explore your imagination while having enormous fun. Take the elevator to the 10th floor of 28 West 36th and you will find yourself in colorful studio full of canvas paint. Check in with the front desk and you will be supplied with protection gear as if you were walking through a storm! Choose five colors to use on your canvas then head on over to the studio with their friendly staffs who will help you with each and every step. Mix some paint and pour it in the syringe where a balloon is fed with the attached tip. Tie a knot of each balloon and hang them up. Their staff will load a BB gun for you to shoot over the spinning canvas creating amazing looking art. Not satisfied with the results, let your mind do the creativity. Canvas art will take five days to dry so come back within a week and you will have a beautiful work of art ready to hang on your wall.

Fantastic experience: We went for date night on 5/23/2024 which was a Thursday at 5:00pm. NOBODY was there which was perfect. It felt like we booked the whole place for ourselves lol. $243 with tax included was definitely pricey for what we did. We put on our protective gear (We had cute clothes on underneath) the protective gear sheilded us for sure. We filled up 5 balloons each (10) with whatever paint colors we chose. The music was great & our instructor Daniel was AWESOME! If you get Daniel, leave him a tip. Cool guy & worked with us. We hung up the balloons & took turns shooting the balloons down with a BB gun so that it would bust over the canvas that was laid down on the table. Afterwards, Daniel spun it to create some fire art. That was it. 45 minutes or less. I'll be back in 2 weeks to pick it up. We enjoyed ourselves but for $243, sheeeesh but go for the experience.

Negative experience: Very upset they Booked Almost 300 us Dollar for the second time now !!! My Visite was in december 2023 !!!!!and i paid i was there !! Now we have Mai and the they just Charge Again without and permission Dont give the Credit Card to them … they are Not trustable !!!!!

Negative experience: I went originally and loved the place. So of course I wanted to help the business and reinvest so I bought the experience again for myself and my fiancé. Unfortunately when that date came we were unable to make the time. I emailed the reservation hoping they might value the 500$+ dollars I spend to shoot a bb at a balloon for under an hour and allow me to reschedule. I knew I screwed up and clearly told them hoping they would make an exception since I was a returning customer and just be an understanding human. They just reiterated the legal policy and offered me to show up in the next 3 hours but not any other date or any reasonable agreement. I work and cannot leave my job so I could not make it. So if you do spend your money here make sure your okay with the possibility of this.

Negative experience: Bad attitude by receptionist. Constant prodding on upselling. They provide token clothing protection (which is really insufficient), and offer to sell you better protection. Majority of the one hour class consists of instructions on how to mix (i.e., water down) paint. Generally not enjoyable, and certainly not with the price.

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews but this one was hard to pass. The class was a great experience and I really hope they have a major improvement in their online customer service. I initially had a few question before booking and my messages were ignored MULTIPLE times via Instagram dm (I saw they read my messages but didn't respond- one minute later they posted a reel on Instagram so clearly they ignored my message on purpose). I finally got in touch with them but was STILL ignored even after expressed my feelings and they didn't get back to me as they promised. I emailed them on the day of for another question and I never heard back from them to this day. Whoever is in charge of social media and customer service should do a better job and try to at least pretend that they care for their customers need. I gave one more star for the instructor for the class because he was the best thing this place offered.
