Positive experience: 4 STARS for Joy Holiday, and "5 STARS" for our tour guide LANKUN (well known as Mama), and the driver Quincy. LANKUN is the best tour guide I ever seen. She is very knowledgeable, well organized , and responsible guide. She helped seniors and non-English speaking tour members ordering food; she used her own long-lense professional camera to take photos, and forwarded them to everyone. She used "WE CHAT" & text to notify everyone for the updates. She is really amazing. Our driver Quincy is very friendly. He greeted everyone every time we get on bus. He took good care of our luggages. QUINCY and LANKUN are the "A TEAM". All the hotels we stayed were nice & clean. If breakfast was included, I will give Joy Holiday 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: We were on the Southwest Giant Ring tour, with tour guide Mr. Chan. Every part of the trip was arranged to give us surprises at each turn, such as the most beautiful spots with enough time to enjoy, and great food such as real wood-grilled rib eye steak. Fantastic experience: Our 7 day trip was great! Our tour guide, Lankun was terrific. She was humorous, caring, and all out great. Quincy was funny and humorous and loved to joke around. He could swat flies with precise accuracy while driving. It was very amusing. We had a great time with them. We enjoyed everything. We look forward to see them again!

Fantastic experience: We took the YA7 Yellowstone tour as a group of 7 and had an amazing experience. Lankun (aka Guo ma) is the best tour guide ever and Quincy is the best driver ever! Guo Ma demonstrated exceptional professionalism in both introducing each National Park and taking care of all the people on the bus, paying special attention to the elderly and the young. She and Quincy kept the bus REALLY clean and put safety as the priority. The driver constantly filled the bus with joy. We really appreciate their efforts in giving us such a great experience.

I have very bad experiance with other tour guide with same company, Bus was full of flies and fishy smell and tour guide gave out no information at all.Driver and tour guide were not getting along. Negative experience: Joy holiday I was one of travelers in the RY7 tour with Joy Holiday. It was the worst tour I’ve ever been in my life. I’ve done local tours and international tours before, and this is my first time to use Joy Holiday. Right from the morning of day 2 was a disaster. There was a delay of not one, not two, but 4 1/2 hours of delay. According to the tour director was a transmission problem. Alibis for the 4 1/2 hours delay were: it was Sunday, and it’s Mother’s Day. As a traveler any delay, or call it anything outside of the itinerary is an inconvenience. More inconvenience like: no porter to carry your luggage into your room, and out to your bus. No earphone radios so that if you’re slow or away from the group/tour director you miss the information about the place. Even some of the information are inaccurate. Anything you need to pay like an option has to be paid in cash. Even the driver is sometimes on the phone. This is illegal and puts all of us at risk of accident.The worst thing that happened from this tour is that the tour director interpreted a review, from a couple about the delay, as a criticism. He even mentioned in the PA inside the bus. The tour director mentioned that the 4 1/2 delay was because it was Sunday and Mother’s Day, and that getting a chartered bus was very expensive and lost so much money on this tour. This is when he said “not everybody appreciate this, some criticize this”. This tells me that this tour operator or management is only for profits. Instead of learning from reviews of travelers and improve the way they run their business, they take it as criticism. So for my review this tour company, Joy Holiday, is the worst I have travelled with. I hope many of you can read this before the owner takes this offline.

Fantastic experience: This is my first time to do the bus tour to see Yellowstone and Grand Canyon. I was amazed by our tour lady Lankun who is very professional and knowledgeable. On the moment we got on the bus, she started to introduce the history of California, the railroad and highway system in US. For each stop, like Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon, Grand Canyon, she would tell us the history behind it, and also gave a lot of information about culture, geography, religion and nature animals. I felt this trip is not only a sight-seeing trip, but also very educational and interesting! I noticed 50% of tourists on the bus are seniors who don’t speak English. Lankun took care of them with much detail and patience! She helped hotel check-in, WiFi connection, and meal ordering for those seniors. She even prepared boxes of bottle water for guests, only charged a small amount of fee(4 for $1), that saved me a lot of time and money on water. The driver Quincy is a very nice, polite and hard working guy. He helped to load/unload each passenger’s luggage every day. We felt very comfortable and safe on the bus while he was driving. This seven days tour trip is very fun and unforgettable. Highly recommend Lankun and Joy Holiday!

Fantastic experience: The Indians Cowboys trip was wonderful! Thanks to the duo Lankun & Quincy! (We thought we wrote a review already!). They always make the tour extra enjoyable. We love the hot air balloon festival, the white sand at sunrise...Definitely would join any new tours with this duo anytime. Love them! My friends love them, too! Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience! We join a 7days tour to Yellowstone. Our tour guide Lankun is amazing, love her service and her photography skills. The driver Quincy is professional, helpful and friendly too. Route is a bit different from schedule, I thought there would be a day and a half in Yellowstone, but I think I will never have enough as the sceneries are stunning.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended! We were assigned to Lankun Weidner’s team to travel around some of the amazing national parks and natural scenery on the west coast of US. Lankun is a very professional, caring, informative and knowledgeable guide with a sense of humor, beyond fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. So don’t be worried if you’re an English speaker. She has strong capabilities in communications, expectation and time management. We are extremely glad to have her to be accompanied on the trip. She gives us informative facts of the scenery, and is able to control visiting time frame skillfully so we are able to see more. Not only is her a professional tour guide, she is also a talented photographer. She is willing to share her photography works with us along the way. Thank you Lankun! Our driver, Quincy, is such a friendly and organized gentleman. Driving skill is wonderful, stable enough to put me to sleep no problem. He organizes our suitcases like no other driver I’ve ever met, so the suitcases stay in place without bumping into each other. Greets us each time we come up and down. Thank you Quincy! Generally speaking, the trip is very pleasant. We are grateful to have Lankun and Quincy to be our guides. Will signup for their group again if future travel plan comes up.

Negative experience: We’re stuck here at Wendover on the way to Salt Lake City, Yellow Stone etc because of their defective bus transmission.Waiting for a for a charter bus to take us to our destinations. What ! they don’t regularly check their bus before heading on a long trip Right now,if there’s a zero that’s what I’m gonna rate them , we’ll keep you posted what’s will happen next.

Fantastic experience: My family and I joined Joy Holiday tour in early Jan 2018, and had Great experience with Professional tour guide, Lankun (MaMa), and reliable driver, Quincy. They are highly recommended and deserved Five-star evaluation

Fantastic experience: Our guide, Guo-Mom, was excellent that she had made our 4 days Bryce NP tour a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: We did Grand Circle tour of Canyons in Utah, Colorado, Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Bryce/Zion NP, Arches NP, Mesa Verde NP during Christmas vacations 2017- very memorable trip. Our Driver was great - Quincy. Tour was made really enjoyable - mainly because of our tour guide - Lankun (dearly called as Mama). I have done one similar tour earlier, Tour guide makes a big difference, hope Joy Special train other guide under her. I am from India, however, Mama English was perfect for us. I have done similar bus trip earlier in the year in July to Yellow Stone, however, this one was much more pleasant. What makes this trip pleasant 1. Mama (Lankun) repeats itinerary at start of the day, and at end of the day; however, she is not doing to just shout out instructions, which most other guides do, but with genuine concern and care of people on the tour. As an example, she would preface her speech that I know some of you might find it annoying, however, I have seen people leave their iPhone, jackets, and other valuables in bus. She does not stop there, she would sweep the bus, and next day she would show up with some valuables left behind. 2. Mama does not just stay in the front of bus, she routinely walks through bus, and asking people if they have any other questions and concerns, and tries to accommodate that. 3. Mama is curious, and she has really learnt all these places, and picked up nuances of various cities. She knew the states we travelled to, and history of National Parks we were visiting and shared them with lot of enthusiasm. She further mentioned that she visited most of these places, in her own car to further explore and wanted to share her findings with rest of us. 4. Mama has ideal selections of DVDs, some of them are documentary, and some of them are light comedies. She knows when people are tired or kids might be cranky, her movie selection was great, educational and fun. 5. Even in our bus there were only 10 % vegetarians (including me – and I was not worried about food), she would take lot of pains, calling ahead in the cities or other tour busses ahead to find out what is open on Christmas day or Christmas eve for Vegetarians. Her efforts here are above and beyond one expect from a guide. 6. She created Whatsapp and other groups to connect with people during the trip, and would put up seating arrangements, and if time of departure changes next day. This is again truly remarkable. 7. She would stop at grocery stores so that people in bus, if they need food or were not prepared for harsh winter and wanted to buy some gloves etc., they could. She would further buy water for people in bus and sell it at cost. Again, I do not have to worry about even water here. 8. She ran the whole trip if she owns the Joy Holiday. She most likely would not see most people again, but her enthusiasm and motherly love (not expecting anything in return) was great to see. 9. In my earlier bus trip, I felt rushed from one spot to other, and it felt like we were using lot of time during the day on bus. I kind of expected that in this trip, knowing that we have to cover 6-8 National Parks and Monument; however, I did not feel that feeling of rush here. Mind you, that many days we have to wake by 4 AM, and being in bus by 5 AM or 6 AM; this was done so that we can reach the premium spots at sunrise or just before sunrise, beat other tour buses and enjoy the park ourselves. This trip felt much different, where in most spots, I did not feel that I did not have enough time to see the parks (apart from Zion NP – which I felt was little rushed because of too much traffic). 10. Finally, she knew the spots and timings when and where to take photos, and in most spots, she would patiently take family photos at premium spots; and at end of the day, she would share her on photos taken on that day, through Whatsapp. Let’s be honest, these photos really make you star among your friends. I hope other tour guides learn from her, however, unless they really love their job, it is difficult to emulate Mama. Thank you very much !!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Date 12/23/17 to 12/27/17 DV4 My mom just returned from Joy Holiday DV4 tour to Las Vegas, Death Valley and Grand Canyon West Rim. She had absolutely wonderful time with her vacation. She said the tour guides are super friendly, patient and caring for all the costumers. We want to express our special thank the tour guide to Mr. Zhao. My mom said he is very very patient and nice person, he took a lot of nice photos even helped carrying her bags when they were at the night tour in Las Vegas. I would highly recommend Joy Holidays to everyone. It’s a very well organized and managed company for all the tourists! I will be sign her up for a lot of fun tours!

Just came back from the tour to New Mexico for hot air balloon festival and White Sands National Monument. I am very impressed with the marvelous services provided by our tour guide Mama Lankun Weidner and our driver Quincy. I have never met a lady tour guide with so much talents. She set up a group thru wechat to give us very detailed info like seating chart, gathering time etc. and shared professional photos taken by herself of places we visited. Quincy is a great driver and he is so friendly. This trip was so enjoyable because of their presence. I highly recommend them to people who are looking for an enjoyable trip.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I joined the Yellowstone tour with Guo Mama as tour guide and Quincy as driver. Guo Ma was very detail minded and take care of every single part. Also, she was our photographer and took excellent pictures for us in the scenic spots. Not to mention Quincy's driving skill, as we had to spend long time on traffic, the journey was safe with a steady speed. Really impressed by their effort. Best team ever.

Mama was very organize and clear so we always knew what going on. The driver was very kind and smily. He drived safe and the bus were always clean and comfortable.

Positive experience: Mama and driver Quincy took me on a tour of Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon. I was made to feel very well looked after by this incredibly professional yet friendly guide. Quincy is also a friendly excellent driver. The highlight for me was free time spent on the south rim to hike and really experience the grandeur of this beautiful natural wonder. If you don't want to watch the optional IMAX about Grand Canyon there is a very good footpath that leads out the back of the car park where I saw birds, gecko and squirrels.

Guide Guo Ma (Lankun Weidner) and driver Quincy are the best tour guide and driver we ever had! Quincy is great. He always loads and unloads everyone's luggages by himself. Whenever you are ready, your luggage is ready. He's such an experienced driver, safe and sound. He's also fun, gave us lots of laughter. He would sacrifice his break time to buy cases of bottle water and just sell for $1 every 4 bottles. It's for everyone's convenience. Guo Ma is so knowledgeable and patient. She truly cares everyone in the group. We learned so much background stories during the long drive, which made lot of sightseeings more fun. Our group was a mix of both English speakers and Chinese speakers. Guo Ma will tell every story or explain details in both languages. It doubles her work. For those who don't read English at all, she helped them to connect WiFi, recorded videos to show how to use coffee pot in room, how to use shower, etc. Yes, she's that considerate! By the way, Guo Ma is a wonderful photographer. She helps to take photos for everyone. She knows the best photo spots, takes good photos , and even adjusts every photo before sending to you. I especially want to express my deepest appreciation to Guo Ma for taking care of my senior parents. My mom had a fall in hotel room. Her head hit the door hinge and bled a lot. That was the night before Yellowstone . Guo Ma helped to send my mom to the nearest ER and stayed for the whole time. She even arranged someone to take care of my dad as he was alone in hotel room. Luckily my mom was ok. It was just a big cut, nothing worse. We went back to hotel at around 1 am. Guo Ma didn't get much sleep that night because the departure time was 5 am. Yet, the day at Yellowstone was fantastic. Guo Ma's guide was still the same high quality: full of fun stories, picture taking for everyone, lots of tips and reminders... You wouldn't even notice she was exhausted (I know she was!) Thank you Guo Ma!

Fantastic experience: This is my first trip, excellent experience I enjoy this the trip very much. Mama and Quincy is very good team both take good care of our group. Mama is well verse she explain everything in detail. This is an unforgettable trip. I hope they will be our tour guide on our future trips. I am inviting my friends to come with me on my next tour. Fantastic experience: Well, what can I say about Mama and Quincy. They were just brilliant. Took the 7 day tour to Yellowstone and it is as good as it gets. About Mama (Lankun Weidner): She has great attention to detail and keeps you informed to the last detail. She is fluent on both Mandarin and English. She has also got good background information (historical, geographical, political, social etc) on the places we visit. So what u get is not just site-seeing but also an overall perspective. This lets u appreciate the sites u visit a lot more. She is very friendly and has a grip on everyones issues (if any). In the end u will definitely feel that u had few more days on the tour with her. About Quincy: Well, he keeps the tour funny and interesting. He drives very safely and gets u at every place bang on time. He sings sometimes too :-). He helps u out on ur luggage all the time. Very very interesting and lively character to have around. Both of them make a fantastic combination and will give u a tour that will remain ingrained in ur memory forever. Fantastic experience: We joined 2 nights Grand Canyon and Lake Powell/Antelope Canyon bus tour (36 people in the same bus) this August. It was far more satisfied than expectation - time arrangement, route, the spots of sightseeing, many guidance for having fun, and especially the guide Lankun, called as "mama". In terms of Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon, recommend to go in the weekday in order to avoid too crowd.

Negative experience: Their agent named Sam is terrible. I had good experience with Joyholiday bus tour in the past. This time, I am planning to go to Alaska. Their receptionist referred me to an agent named Sam say he is the guy handling Alaska trips. Sam is the worst agent I have ever met. I sent him an email but he did not reply. I then called him and he was very impatient and rude on the phone. I was asking if the tour I am interested in avialable in this month. He said that tour is only available after Aug 5th. Then I asked what day is Aug 5th because I want to leave on Sunday. He told me he does not know. I had to find a calendar near me and saw Aug 6th is a Sunday. Then I asked him how about Aug 6th. To my surprise, he shouted at the phone, "Did you understand what I said. I said it is available after Aug 5th, Is Aug 6th after 5th?" OMG, I can't believe my ears for such unprofessional words from a travel agent. Bye-bye, JoyHoliday, I will never come back.

Fantastic experience: Our family just took a trip with the guide Lanqun Guo and driver Quincy. It's an awesome trip! Lanqun like a mom of whole team. She provides detail information in both English and Chinese, lead a wonderful routes and arranged eating and lodge very considerable. Mama covered the places beyond itinerary and focused on the places which were more important than # of places. She was very active and making sure that her tourists were safe and are enjoying the trip. Mama you are one the best tour guides I have ever seen. The Driver Quincy, he is exceptional. He drove the bus more than 3500 miles and still not exhausted. He always made sure that we were feeling comfortable. He took care of all the luggages himself and managed them well. Fantastic experience: My parens join the YA7 tour group to Yellowstone with tour guide Ms Guo (MAMA) and driver Quincy. They are super satisfied. The whole itinerary is very well designed and organized. It balanced with scenic tour, leisure time, breaks and travel time on the bus. They enjoyed a lot of beautiful views and activities and did not feel tired. The bus they have is a nice luxury one, very comfortable. All the fees and options are clearly stated, no hidden fees. The tour guide is awesome! She takes care each guest in the tour likes a mom. She had all the info for the next day send out the day before by messages. It includes the time, breaks, the interesting points, maps and eating. Sometimes even has tips for photo shooting for a specific place. She has great knowledge of the places they are going. On the spot, she takes pics for everyone. And she is also a good at photography herself. She shares nice pics with the group later each night. She also helps guest with language difficulties with prepared translation text message and on demand. The driver is also responsible and very familiar with the route. Over all an excellent experience. I will definitely recommend joy holiday to everyone. And I am planning to join this tour myself!

Fantastic experience: I did the 7-day Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore around May 2016 with our tour guide Mama (Lankun) and driver Quincy. I've done 2 bus tours prior to this one and I can really say this duo is the best! Mama is a real mama as she took care of us pretty well. She texted us all the things we need to know (i.e. appropriate clothes to wear, other stuff to bring, stuff to be provided by them, etc.) prior to the trip. She is very passionate about her job and she really knows her stuff. I learned a lot of things from her (history, etc.) during the trip. She is also very efficient with the scheduling and logistics. Quincy is a very funny and good driver. He tells us stories and jokes to keep us entertained. He is very efficient with the handling of the bags too. I hope to see you guys again as I do my next bus tour. Thanks for the wonderful tour! You guys are the best! Actually these past few days I was hoping to get a text from Mama because it means she would be my tour guide on my next 7-day grand circle national parks tour! I'm really sad because I didn't get a text from her. Today is the first day of my tour and I am currently in the bus (with the same company) as I am writing this. I'm really missing Mama so I texted her to let her know that I miss her and I wish she and Quincy are here with me! It's sad that there's only one Mama and Quincy! Fantastic experience: MaMa and Quincy, the tour guide and driver, are really professional and excellent guys. I took 7 days trip from Cupertino through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana and Montana then back to Cupertino. It's a very very long trip but the driver, Quincy, makes it looks like easy. He drive the bus smoothly and steady, let passengers have a comfortable experience. I can easily fall into sleep on the bus that I didn't get used to it. He checks the bus every day before on the road and clean the car every day. The tour guide, MaMa, is a very patient and knowledgeable lady. She do a normal tour guide job, explaining the scenic spot features, history...etc. But what makes MaMa so unique is as her name like a mother take care of almost everything on the trip. She reminds the weather, stuff you need to take, take photos, how to order the meal...etc. when you have trouble on the trip call MaMa, she can get things done. I'm highly recommend join joy holiday to have a nice trip.

Fantastic experience: It was truly an effortless and well planned journey throughout the 7days Yellowstone National Park Tour. Our tour guide LanKun aka 郭妈 has given her best to us. She explained everything in and out, give us text in advanced just in case we missed out, record and explain everything single destination and not to forget she is a really good photographer.
