Negative experience: I reserved a 2 bath/sleeps 10 RV and what was delivered was a 1 bath/sleeps 6 RV. When I asked the delivery person the response was "we should change the pictures". Also, the deposit that I was charged was not released though I received an email that the release was done. When I called, Klaidas answered and was not able to answer any of the questions, only providing an email. He made no attempt to rectify the overcharge for a smaller unit. The drop off and pickup was also 2 hours later than documented. In all... very much a bait and switch company with no customer service support. In response....I did call to inquire and was hung up on by Klaidas and have receive no response from an email I sent days ago.

Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with RV fun rental in Oceanside California.. Oscar hooked us up with a Winnebago View and what a great set up for us. We were first time RV rental customers and Oscar made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions about the motorhome before and even during our trip.. Also a big shout out to Kladias for a pleasant return experience. Thanks for the great service.

Negative experience: The end price was almost 50% higher than the initial quote which was super aggravating. Delivery and pick up took longer than expected because they only had one truck for two trailers. The real problem is that the awning got damaged, and they said it was because it was overextended...here's the thing, THEY put the awning out during set up. What's more the rv tech at pickup said it was a stuck piston that caused the damage but it some how ended up being our fault anyways. Also, they kept the full$2k deposit when the repair was quoted at $1k It makes sense that they are NOT BBB accredited. But hey they were nice about lying to get an extra $1000 from us.

Fantastic experience: Oscar helped us find an RV for our road trip, we were first Timers, he walked us through everything perfectly! And a great deal! Very reasonable! Very friendly ! Great place to go to ! Klaidas was also very helpful and friendly! We got the hose stuck at the dump place and he came right down to help!! Thank you guys so much again!!!!

Fantastic experience: We just got back from a weekend trip in the 29 foot Thor. The RV was easy to drive, in great condition and worked perfect for our group of 8. It was a smooth process from start to finish and Oscar was very helpful in getting us up to speed on how everything worked. Klaidas was also very accommodating with drop off procedures. I trust these guys and I look forward to renting again in the near future!

Fantastic experience: Trevor the service technician is top notch! He fixed a damaged awning arm in an hour! When I previously had the dealership do an even easier repair to the awning, they kept my trailer for a month! Trevor is knowledge, conscientious, and does high quality work. I recommend highly for RV repairs.

Fantastic experience: We needed an RV ASAP since the RV we reserved was double booked (20 ft, sleeps 4). Klaidas had a larger RV in stock and ready to go (28 ft, sleeps 6). On the day of pick up, Klaidas greeted us and showed us the ins and outs of the new RV. During our review, the refrigerator smelled funky. Klaidas automatically said that was unacceptable and quickly found us a larger replacement (33 ft, sleeps 9). We were shown how everything worked from the generator to the slide outs and the stove top. Klaidas's customer service made our rental process incredibly easy and fun. We had issues with the grey water tank on our first night. We contacted Klaidas and he was able to resolve it within minutes. He was very responsive and extremely willing to work with us thru our rental process. We would definitely rent from Klaidas again in the future... ask to work with Klaidas, he's the man!

They provided a well maintained RV, super knowledgeable and available staff, and plenty of extras - it really was just grab and go! The RV was very spacious, clean, and the envy of all of our RV neighbors at EDC. Fantastic experience: 5 stars despite the fact that our RV that we rented broke down. It was a good thing it broke down at our campsite than being stuck in the desert. Otherwise we would’ve been stuck in a desolate area in the heat for hours before anybody can help us out. But we were well prepared for it. Continue to read & you’ll understand why I gave it 5 stars. In any event, we never been in this position before & we notified RV Fun Rentals (Oscar, Lynn, Trevor, & Juan) about it & they have sent Peter to fix the problem. Peter is so awesome & great! It was like, God sent from Heaven! I’m not mechanically inclined to this level nor had any tools to fix the problem if I was mechanically inclined. Peter did his diagnosis & he told me it was a manufacture defect part & not me who broke it nor RV Fun Rentals fault. And again, it was a manufacture defect. In short, the transmission coolant line sprung a leak. See the attached picture. This transmission situation is something that you don’t typically check compared to checking the oil level, the coolant level, & the air in the tires. In any event, Peter would’ve fixed the problem right away, but it became a mission for him. Reason being, we were on the west side of Lake Tahoe camping. Finding parts or any local mechanic around that area is almost impossible due to being the weekend. Why? Peter tried to call them & they were closed. So Peter had to drive an hour to Reno to get the parts. He found the part he needed at the Ford dealership. After installing it, we took it for a test drive & it passed!!! NO LEAKAGE!!!! Like I said before, our RV broke down & Peter fixed it!!! That’s the reason why we gave them 5 stars. So if you have any mechanical issues that goes wrong & you happened to get Peter to fix the problem, then you’re absolutely in good hands. Peter can fix anything IMO!!! I hope his bosses will read this & give him a raise! He’s legitimately like a Golden ticket for a lottery or God sent from heaven. THANK YOU RV Fun Rentals for sending Peter!!! And THANK YOU Peter for helping us out!!! You are AWESOME!!!

Negative experience: WATCH OUT - DON’T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS DISHONEST AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY!! THEY REFUSED TO GIVE BACK MY DEPOSIT, “CANCELED MY RESERVATION” AND STILL TRIED TO CHARGE MY CARD 10 DIFFERENT TIMES, WITH DIFFERENT AMOUNTS OF MONEY, FROM $8,000 to $500, BEING ABLE TO TAKE EXTRA 3K FROM MY CARD, UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Here’s the whole story: I made a booking for an RV with Oscar back in May (to be picked up at the end of this month), in the beginning everything was super nice, he was very friendly and pushy on a way to try to close the reservation and collect the downpayment as soon as possible, I get it im also working in sales and make commission so I didn’t have any issues with that, at the moment it seemed like he was out best choice and promised me everything we were looking for so we went ahead and reserved the RV. Going over all the details and emails received with the links about what’s in the contract I found out that a lot of the things that were promised at first were no longer included, and even worst that the deposit when picking up the RV was no longer $3,000 but $5,000, I couldn’t believe what I was reading and I contacted Oscar via text and he mentioned that I was wrong and he never promised it, so that’s exactly when I start doubting if I should still trust them even though I’ve read before negative reviews for other people that hired them, specially in terms of deposit money that they don’t want to return fully or any other issues with not fair charges. I decided to called to clarify everything the next day and no longer excited to work with a company that can’t keep up their promises, I spoke to the “operations manager” a Russian guy that at first was kind of rude refusing everything and then tried to be nice with me giving me what was promised at first and then denied, but at this point I lost 100% trust in them and didn’t want to take the risk of loosing my deposit as other people did. He said he can only cancel the reservation and I will loose my $2,000 deposit (first because the refund was supposed to be good only if canceled within 30 days, and then only if I canceled before 30 days the booking starts, at this point being 3 weeks before)… again different information…. And EVEN THOUGH I have also a text from Oscar saying I could cancel anytime and get my refund, I’m sharing the screenshot here. At this point all I wanted to be done and don’t deal with this kind of people anymore, next thing I found out is I received a call from my credit card company concerned of fraud because this company tried to charge different amount of money for 10 different times, unreal and 100% disappointing how low they can go to try to make money from you, this proving once again I should never trust them in the first place and thankful I’m never going to use their services.

Fantastic experience: We owned tent trailers for family camping when raising our kids in the 80’s and 90’s…and wanted a light weight camping trailer for a family camping weekend with our adult children and grandkids, who were tent camping. RV Fun Rental in Oceanside had a nearly new teardrop trailer available which was a good fit for our 4500# towing capacity. The equipment was in excellent condition, unused condition. Lynn did a thorough check out in the equipment, as I was not familiar with all the hookups and drains. Klaidas, the general manager also stopped by to make sure we were happy with the unit and familiar with its operation. The trailer worked fine, and returning the trailer was a breeze. There’s a RV dump station which charges only $10 at Oceanside Harbor, nearby. We decided next time we’d probably opt for a Sprinter camper van, and saw several nice ones on site. We will be back!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with RV Fun Rentals through RV Share. Klaidas, the Director of Operations, delivered our RV right to our home, gave a great training and walk through on the vehicle, and came right on time to pick it up when we were done with our trip! The RV was exactly what we needed, very clean, comfortable and in good condition. I felt the prices and policies were fair and we are very satisfied. Would definitely rent from them again for our next trip!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I (from Pennsylvania) had a very memorable trip to California. My initial contact was Oscar (Sales GM) who made me very comfortable renting a 37ft RV sight unseen. He guided me through some early steps prior to arriving, familiarized us with the rig prior to departing San Diego for Lake Tahoe and was our go to guy should an issue occur. The rig was exactly what we anticipated- very nice and clean. It was a very nice ride... and a perfect RV for our stay. We had one unexpected issue with truck going over our first pass in about 112 degree temperatures as the thermostat must have stuck. The RV Fun Rental team decided to dispatch their tech, Pioter, over 3 hours to assist vs us waiting up to 5 - 6 hours for roadside assistance to help. Pioter not only fixed the truck but he followed us for an hour over the pass and double checked the rig before sending us on our way. We never had an other issue. Klaidas the (Operations Mgr) was very fair and went out of his way to make things right across the board. Again, I can't say enough about the RV Fun Rental team as they went out of the way to make our California RVing trip fun. If the opportunity arises again, we will go to them first to address our needs. Kevin Tate

I advise against renting from RV Fun Rental due to questionable practices and deceitful handling of deposits.

Negative experience: Beware of RV Fun Rental - Unjust Security Deposit Claim and Questionable Practices. I rented an RV from RV Fun Rental, and it turned into a nightmare. Initially, the process seemed smooth, but things quickly went south after returning the vehicle. Here's my experience in detail: Return Process and Walkthrough: Upon returning the RV on August 15th, I had a thorough inspection with two representatives. No issues were reported, and I signed a walkthrough document, but they failed to provide me with a copy. Unjust Deposit Claim: Shockingly, they then informed me that they would be keeping my $2000 deposit for alleged bathtub damage. This was absurd as my family never used the bathtub, and no such damage was noted during the walkthrough. Dispute and Response: When I disputed the claim, they promised to provide proof within 72 hours, a week after the vehicle return. This delay raised serious concerns about their integrity. Forged Documentation: The situation worsened when my credit card company revealed that RV Fun Rental provided forged walkthrough documents with my signature, adding damages post-factum. This experience has been distressing and highly unethical. RV Fun Rental's practices are questionable, and their handling of my deposit is outright deceitful. I strongly advise against renting from them and caution others to be wary of their business tactics.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing team here! Oscar was my contact and he did everything right, from showing me the model I reserved to showing me other options. The RV I chose was an amazing Mercedes Luxury that was brand new. I took it for 8 days and we enjoyed every one of them. Oscar knew how to ask the right questions to provide me with the best option. We rode up the coast, hit the Sequoias and ended in Joshua Tree. I took my 83 year old mother and she was in complete comfort the whole way. I can’t say enough about the team at RV Fun Rental, they crushed it!

Negative experience: We rented 2 RVs from them this year and at the beginning the experience was great. Oscar was super helpful. But I'm afraid that everything changed after we returned RVs and we were waiting for the security deposits to be returned to us. They rapidly stopped communication with us: no answer to phone calls, messages and emails. It has already been almost 2 months since we returned RVs and our security deposits of $5k each are still hold by them (while it is said in the agreement that the security deposit is released in 7 days after the return of the RV). That is a huge disappointment and I'm afraid we can't recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Have to say their customer service was excellent. Working with Oscar was great, he cared about us and our trip and wanted to make it the most it could be. Even with mishaps, on our part, and some of the equipment, they were great to work with and very reasonable even when things don’t go well. Will rent again from them!

Fantastic experience: The RV rental employees here did a great job, helping the booking process and details go smoothly. The rental was clean and the instruction and walk around were very informative answering all of my questions before taking off. There was an Issue with our Rental, as one of the beds did not fold out so we were down a bed.The employee was kind enough to knock down a charge from our total price which was awesome. Great place to rent from!

Fantastic experience: Two times in a row! We had an amazing trip. Thanks to Oscar and Klaidas they made this RV renting process so smooth and gave us a reliable RV that ran like a horse. We rented an 2022 Chateu 6 sleeper and it was great from start to finish. There was no hassle and we felt we got pretty good deal on a beautiful and clean RV that had everything you wish for and is pretty comfortable for 6 people ( although we were only 4).

Fantastic experience: Very responsive customer service for a short weekend getaway to Carlsbad. Klaidas was great and followed up whenever we had a question and even went to Best Buy to pick up a missing chord so we could use the TV during our stay.

We brought our two dogs and used blankets and towels and then spent quite a bit of time making sure there was no trace of them and even got our pet fee back!.
