Negative experience: I used my friend as a travel agent that goes through this company. I found out through Royal Caribbean that my cruise was cancelled by the company. At this point I'm out $500. I have never received any correspondences to date from this company on my booking and what is going on. My friend has so far been ghosted by the company. I've sent an email to see if they will resolve the issue as well. If they do I'll update my review accordingly. The owner did call us and was rude. Blamed our friend and took no responsibility for it. This company doesn't train their people well clearly. We ended up losing our money because we would rather not deal with such nasty people anymore. I'd never use a travel agent again for a cruise.

Negative experience: My fiancé and I was excited about cruising to Mexico for the first time with a group of people. He said he will never fly but somehow we convinced him that everything will be fine. The cruise and flight was booked and paid for. The night before leaving out to catch our flight we get a phone call from the girl we booked through (agent from Archer Travel Agency) stating that whoever she worked with within the company cancelled our cruise I was so hurt and clueless as to what to do. This was the moment we were waiting on and a much needed vacation. I felt like my heart had been ripped out my chest. She informed us an agent told us to still fly out to Miami (from Atlanta, Ga) to board the cruise in hopes that they may have some rooms vacant or if someone canceled. We arrived in Miami. We got a hotel room for that night. The next day we arrived at the port. We got in line to try and board. They took our luggage to be taken to our cabin. Our names were on the list but someone else had our cabin Our cabin was sold to someone else because Archer Travel Agent had cancelled our reservation without notice) Carnival Cruise Line had us waiting outside for almost 8hrs just to tell us I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do because the cruise was sold out and they had no cabins available and they had to find our luggage which was on board the ship. My fiancé and I wasn’t the only one in the group with cancelled rooms, we found out it was several others. With sadness in our heart we had to catch a cab to the airport to find the first flight back home. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. We caught a fight just to spend one night in a hotel in Miami and the next day just to sit at a port for almost 8hrs. This happened 03/28/2024. Still, until this day 02/15/2025, we still haven’t gotten any answers, no refunds or nothing.. No type of accommodation at all. I’m talking with an agent from Archer Travel Agent (Peggy Harp) and all she keeps saying is I’M ONLINE WITH CARNIVAL TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. PLEASE GIVE ME TIME TO GIVE YOU A BETTER DEAL it’s almost a year still NOTHING!!!!!! I’m getting a lawyer to handle this..I feel ripped off

Negative experience: Total MLM Scam. Run away if you see an email or get a call from anyone from this company. Got an email from an Amy I asked is there a set up cost monthly costs she said go in the Zoom interview. Zoom interview you can only chat with the woman hosting it and can’t see what others are writing. Right there is red flag #1. Woman claims to be an agent says I’m not a Math Girly when trying to figure out commission on a demo she is doing. Red flag #2. Can’t ask questions red flag #3 then after 45 or so minutes of BS the cost comes. But wait they go into a whole you need to buy steel toe boots and put gas in your car if you work 9-5. I left call text woman not interested it’s a scam she texts me back using same line about boots and gas and how she makes 6 figures in her sleep. Don’t even bother

Negative experience: I was a travel agent for this company and had such high hopes for it. I had both family and friends book their trips for me and I never did get any commissions from those trips. I contacted Archer for help and they just brushed me off and said "You can figure it out yourself" and I never did get paid for the time and work I put in. The monthly fee I was paying was $90 which is a lot if you're bringing in the income monthly. I was a part of this company for 6 months and I'm glad that I won't have to worry about paying them $90 monthly. The "training" wasn't really training either so I was really confused most of the time. I wanted to be a successful travel agent but I feel like I got sucked into a mlm.

Negative experience: I called to cancel/pause my subscription, and unfortunately, my experience with Nancy was disappointing. She was unprofessional and used a sarcastic tone throughout the call, making the process more frustrating than it needed to be. I expected respectful assistance, but her attitude made the experience far from pleasant. I don’t think this is the service I should receive when I am giving them business.

I just listened to a 45min webinar where I was originally offered a position doing social media management which turned into them asking for $100 to join there program to sell 'discounted travel services' turns these discounts are not even real when you check the hotel website the price is the same after fees. If you are booking travel, stay the heck away from this group. Emily appears to be one of the top con artists and is extremely deceptive.

Negative experience: Absolutely a pyramid scheme. Anytime you see "upline" or "downline" it is a SCAM. They also lied to me. I attended a zoom meeting in which I was guaranteed that I could request a refund of initial fees within ten days. I asked for a refund after three days and they refused. I filed a dispute with my credit card company.

Negative experience: I was with Archer for 6 months, they took my monthly payment automatically through my card. When they raised the monthly price to 89.00 per month, I was informed that my card did not go thru.. I would have to pay the new rate. Be aware the commissions are very slow and low. Training is informative but redundant.

Negative experience: 100% pyramid scheme. i knew i had to check the reviews before making any decisions. you are not allowed to see other panelists’ chat as they wouldn’t want you to realize it’s a MLM and discuss w each other. i really heard them out during the presentation, but once they asked for payment to sign up, i knew something wasn’t right. they say it’s to pay for your licensing, bonding, etc but i’ve worked independent contractor sales jobs where they do not as you for a monthly membership and initial payment up front, they should cover that on their end. why would YOU pay for employment? MLM at its finest. i hope others check here for clarity first if they aren’t confident w moving forward.

Negative experience: Definitely a scam, if you get called on zoom meeting with someone explaining various travels ask for a company name, do a quick google search and you'll come across all these reviews as this is a pyramid scam. Leave the meeting asap and don't waste your time.

Negative experience: No real training- watching unhelpful videos is how you learn to navigate the websites. It feels more like a pyramid scheme than an opportunity to start your own business. My "group leader/mentor" never reached out once I signed up. You can join zoom meetings at their convenience if you want to learn a sales pitch or two. The monthly membership fee costs more than what you can make in commissions as a start up. When I reached out for help, the office staff was not having a good day and it showed.

The staff and our leadership team are second to none and are always available to counsel and coach us with whatever we need when we are having problems or if we have any questions. In the 21 months that I have been with the company as an independent travel advisor, my sales have gone up and my client base has nearly tripled because of the referrals which I have been given thanks to the support which I have continually received from Archer. Yes, I do have to pay a fee to work under their license, but if you think about it so do doctors, lawyers, cosmetologists, and many other working professionals to ensure that they are legally able to work in their various professions. This fee also allows me to be licensed, bonded, and insured under the Archer Travel licenses, and that gives both me and my clients peace of mind when I am doing business daily. Working under this host agency is well worth the fee which I pay every month because the payoff which I receive is much greater due to the satisfaction that my clients get before, during, and after their trips because of the professional manor which I take care of them. This is NOT an MLM or a pyramid scheme. The mentorship side of the program is completely OPTIONAL to participate in. Fantastic experience: I became a travel advisor for 14 months and Archer travel as my host agency has been amazing. They goes out of their on having training through out the week, bring top suppliers to train us. The team is always looking out for us agent and gave us top commission. You can always call the office to get your questions answered.

Negative experience: No real training. To get the main discounts on cruises and access to main websites, you have to wait 3 months. Expedia TAAP offers less discounts than the discounts I get as a Member. You have to do all on your own. So if you have that kind of passion and time, Go for it. Not too bad but its limited to certain airlines so you cant do bookings on low costs for people since you only get commission for United, Delta, American. That should change because I was unable to create packages for people that dont fly those airlines.

Fantastic experience: I joined the Archer family back in January 2023 as an at home agent, and I have loved every minute of it! When I have had issues arise with clients, they were resolved quickly by calling the office and getting help with the issue. They offer so many training opportunities, from live videos to past recordings, that I've been able to gain a ton of knowledge in how to be successful as an agent. I have even gotten my own sister to become an agent because she also loves booking travel and traveling herself.

Negative experience: The travel agent we used was a liar, not helpful , and not timely/ responsive. When attempting to help resolve issues with the agent and calling the agency, it felt like the blind leading the blind with no good resolution and just more frustration. Worst place and wouldn’t ever use it and wouldn’t ever recommend this place even it was the last travel agency in the world.

Negative experience: This company is the worst,our travel agent Kaitlyn Bloom booked our family vacation. Before payment was made I requested in detail everything I was paying. She stated she would go over it never did. I found out she booked a flight for my one year old grandson. I requested car seats and ended up having to purchase some because the travel agent didn't request any. I also requested we have one hotel room all together as we are mainly traveling with children. The travel agent stated the hotel didn't have one room to accommodate us. I called the hotel and there is on fact a room that would fit us all. I can't change the room because the cancelation has to be done by the travel agent. She refuses to respond back to me. Don't ever use a travel agent. You are better off booking on your own.

Negative experience: WARNING!!! Scammers! I did enrol to become a travel agent after a Zoom meeting. I was based in the UK (they didn’t mention that there aren’t any vendors/ suppliers in the UK. After two weeks, they told me that I can participate in mentoring programme only which means paying $69 and not earning money. Totally SCAM! Avoid at all cost!!!

Negative experience: The lady we interacted with was extremely rude and condescending when we decided to go with another online package that was a much better deal.

Negative experience: I was a Travel Agent for this company and decided to cancel my account one day before the apparent "10 day money back guarantee" and I still have not received my money that they were supposed to refund me and they have been ignoring my emails. This company is not professional at all and steals your money from you.

Negative experience: I signed up to be a travel agent that cost $70 with a 10 day money back guarantee. I cancelled my membership that same day and almost a month later haven’t gotten my money back. They are scamming people.

Negative experience: Run from this company. I don't understand how they have such great reviews. My experience so far has been nothing but a nightmare. I worked hard to earn a trip and needless to say my company chose to give me a vocher to this company so I could choose to go wherever or even multiple places instead of the exclusive all in trip to Hawaii I earned. Sounded decent. Wrong! First time I tried to book, the lady was too busy trying to finalize a trip for one to Hawaii. Contacted the owner and he got it booked just in the nick of time. Reached out to book my next trip and someone is stuck in Hawaii and she cannot get on the phone to book mine. Instead I wasted an entire evening going back and forth through email eventually getting past on to another lady who also wouldn't jump on a call. Wound up booking flights to something I didn't approve. Seriously thinking about forfeiting any credit I have with this company!!!!! Friendly tip, they use Expedia to book your travel. Do yourself a favor book expedia for yourself and save yourself so much time and money! I literally picked out my airfare, hotel and they couldn't get the same thing and charge $25 to book your airfare. If you choose to go with this company hopefully you have better luck is all I can say.

Negative experience: I was supposed to be on a Carnival cruise in February, got pushed to May with the only communication being a 3rd party phone (non-agent) call to say dates were changing...The VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL agent didn't communicate this changes to me via phone call, email or otherwise. I asked for an explanation of my bill and she (agent) refused to provide that also. I had to ask another traveler for information. Horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this agent to anyone.

Negative experience: I booked a rental car through one of their affiliate travel agents. Was never provided any terms and conditions of the reservation. When due to circumstances we were unable to take possession of the rental and asked to have a refund we were then told that refunds were only available within the first 24 hours of booking the reservation for the rental car. Not once was I provided any terms and conditions nor did the travel agent provide me any terms and conditions concerning my rental.
