Fantastic experience: Our recent trip to Crete was our first time using a travel agent and I would definitely do it again. Chelsea was able to provide us with even more than we had hoped for and still stayed within our budget. The hotel was a beautiful 5 star and included an amazing daily breakfast buffet. The excursion to the Palace of Knossos also included a private driver and tour guide, a tour of the archeological museum, a tour of Greek Orthodox basilica, and an authentic Cretan family style dinner. It was way more than what we had expected and we loved the entire experience.

The most important factor when traveling is knowing the customer’s needs and wants. That also means knowing the person. Some travel agents don’t feel personable and just want a sale. I like the feel of having a genuine connection leading to an excellent experience. Jennifer provides great customer service leading to amazing experiences when traveling. I’ve worked with the her since 2017 and will continue to do so.

Someone else is doing all the legwork and fingers are busy inputting your information to wherever you need to go. Taking them for granted is second nature,but without them is not smooth traveling.

Perhaps Rose needs to talk to these people that are running these branches throughout the state of Wisconsin. Rude unhelpful. I will look elsewhere for my travel needs

Negative experience: I was given a voucher from university of Chicago jenn abing was the worst of reps, unprofessional, finally the university fixed everything that she had no clue about. Never go through fox worldtravel

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about the reps we’ve worked with at Fox World Travel over the years. Super friendly, highly efficient and extremely knowledgeable!

Negative experience: Called a couple times last week and had a call with different agents. I will admit, my call was close to their closing hours, but this shouldn't excuse the lack of interest the agent should provide. The first agent I spoke with didn't seem to least but interested in wanting to help or provide advice. I had called back and received another agent. This agent was very helpful and social. They did inform me though that they wouldn't be able to fulfill my quote request that day. This I totally get and was okay with. Beware, if you've called them several years prior and solicited information from them, any further service or assistance they will provide you with will come at a cost of a professional service fee. I've dealt with many other travel agencies in many other states, and this is the first time I have ever been asked to pay a fee upfront to receive a quote for a vacation.before you know it, maybe car dealerships will start charging people for a test drive on a car or the salesman's time, when you are looking to purchase a new car.

Negative experience: DO NOT use FOX world travel. They dropped the ball in anticipating a strike in Taiwan and stranded students half way around the world. This is exactly the situation a travel agent is supposed to prevent! Booking flights for students through an airline that for over 2 weeks was in negotiations is risky business which is costing significant time and money. Not to mention the uncertainty, stress and frustration these students, who have limited funds, are experiencing in trying to get home.

She listened to our requests, made notes and offered to help us even with the smallest of details. She was thorough and offered suggestions without being pushy. Negative experience: Booked a Christmas vacation in Jamaica with Mel Crosby. Our first day and night we had no hot water, our room wasn't cleaned except to sweep and put in new towels during our whole vacation, never changed our sheets the whole time there, etc... Contacted Mel on the second day and she informed us when we asked for her help she didn't work weekends and with it being a holiday we wouldn't be able to get ahold of anyone. We complained to the concierge desk who said the manager would speak to us, never did, both times we complained. When we returned we set up an appt with branch manager Jody Piotter and went in to discuss our concerns since working with Mel seemed to get us nowhere. She said she would handle it and that it took up to 21 days to get a response from the resort. We asked for a partial refund. On day 24 after that appt, we called a different manager and left a voice mail. Obviously we were not a priority to Jody Piotter since she could not return our phone call, so we thought to try someone who might care about our issues. Later that day we received an email from Jody showing the resorts response to our issues. They of course denied everything. They offered us a $100 credit. Can you believe that? We paid over $6000 for a Christmas vacation, and that is the disrespect they showed us. There commercials state they are here for you. Don't believe it, they're here for themselves. Book it online, at least those sites have someone available to help you 24/7, unlike this business. And at a better price!!!
