Fantastic experience: We saw several dolphins and some jumping in the higher waves. Then we went in the bay and received a very refreshing boat ride. We laughed every time we got drenched. A little cool but we had a blast.

Positive experience: Cool tour... Definitely an activity to do while in town. Going @ 7p lined up with the sunset along with the dolphin sightings. It was fun & a lil romantic. The boat driver and assistant were nice and lively. They played good music and got us as close to the dolphins without harming them. This is definitely something I'd do again as well as recommended to others. The pictures in the sunset came out great. We tipped in cash❤️

Fantastic experience: This was an excellent activity. We went at 4pm on a Fri. The guys driving the boats made it so much fun! We had the opportunity to see the dolphins and get some sights in while riding. They even let the kids onboard have a little steering time. We really enjoyed this!!!!

Fantastic experience: Our family had a great time on the Hydrojet tour while on vacation and we highly recommend it. The ride was festive and they played great music. We did see some dolphins. The captain and his assistant were friendly and did a nice job leading the tour. It got bumpy at times when we pulled out the harbor and you will get wet, but that is part of the experience. The pricing was reasonable in my opinion. Heads up though it is $20 for parking.

Fantastic experience: We didn’t even get to go on the dolphin cruise, but still a great experience. The service is fantastic, after we booked, we looked back and discovered it could be potentially dangerous for pregnant people, which my wife happens to be. They cancelled the reservation for the same day with no question and even recommended other companies that did tours my wife could go on. We will be back in a few years, if the customer facing service is anything like what we just experienced it will be well worth the money.

Fantastic experience: So fun! We kept seeing the boat zoom by our condo and had to check it out for ourselves. We’re so glad we did! It was a fun ride and we saw dozens of dolphins, including some babies! The captain and crew were great, check in was easy, definitely worth the money!

Fantastic experience: We didn't get to see a lot of the dolphins when we went, but coming from a place where the most water we see is when we run a bath lol, this was still an incredible experience! Would totally recommend! The crew was very nice, and super energetic, which was a great plus!

My husband and I, my mother, my adult children and my teens we all enjoy it so much. It’s fun, gets your adrenaline pumping without be scary and you get to see so many dolphins and the occasional shark. We have rode about 10 times. It has became a family tradition we all look forward to

Fantastic experience: This was the funnest experience the whole weekend. It was a blast! There was a lady working, she was an absolute gem. I lost my step mom a year ago tomorrow and she reminded me soooo much of her. Her kindness, her personality, her voice, laugh, she even looked just like my Sally. It was like I was there with my step mom. Thank you. It was an experience I’ll never forget.

Fantastic experience: Awesome little tour! It's short (1 hr) but that's plenty of time for a mixture of fast-paced wave jumping/dolphin sightseeing in 90+ degree weather. You should be prepared to get wet, but honestly the experience of riding rugged ocean seas in a small boat was quite unique. Saw a tons of dolphins too. Would definitely do it again and would recommend it to anyone! Price was great too.

Negative experience: Horrible experience and customer service. The manager was rude, asked to purchase double tickets after a delay, and refused to allow my group to participate after wasting our time. The worst service strongly discouraged.

Fantastic experience: We went on the 10am trip. It was a great time, we saw a bunch of dolphins and cruised by crab island. The staff was great! Definitely a repeater when we come back to the area.

Positive experience: Drove an hour to get there from PCB. When I get there they have us wait in line to tell us about 20 minutes before our trip that the motor is getting hot and the Captain has canceled our trip. They say in their disclaimer that refunds for trips canceled less than 24 hrs will not be given. So what's the penalty for them canceling on us less than 30 minutes before our trip?

Fantastic experience: This place is phenomenal the staff and the captain they're all great. It ended up being one of the best experiences we've ever had here. It is really awesome if you want something to do with the Kids and plus have fun yourself.

Fantastic experience: This is a must!!! Wife and kids all loved it as well(4 and 9 year old)! Staff was awesome and allowed both kids to drive the boat. Would definitely recommend and would do it again. We left a tip so total it was close to $150 for all 4 of us. Well worth every dollar.

Fantastic experience: First, there is no "may" about the getting wet part. You WILL get wet. The crew will make sure of it, but that's the fun part. Listen, simple, mundane dolphin cruises are a dime a dozen, especially in Destin. If you're looking for something a little different, something with a little more than just "oooh look dolphins", this is the boat tour for you. Don't get me wrong, there are dolphins & because this boat has such a small capacity compared to the others you'll see them easily no matter what side of the boat they're on. Plus, because it's a smaller boat, you'll be much closer to them. BUT, when you're not looking at dolphins you get to enjoy the speed of a jet boat! Our group spanned in age from 7 to 72 & everyone had fun (& got thoroughly wet - think log ride wet, not dunked you in the ocean wet). We took a sunset cruise, that despite the overcast conditions, was still beautiful in what we could see. All in all, I'd recommend this boat tour for anyone who is looking for something different in their dolphin tour.

Fantastic experience: UPDATE: 2022.. We returned again this year and enjoyed the Hydrojet just as much as we did last year! Its our favorite activity in Destin and plan to visit them every time we are in the area. Saw dolphins, jellyfish , learned a little about the area, took in a beautiful sunset and had a very enjoyable ride down the coastline (The ride is our [especially my son's] favorite part...and especially on hot days!) 2021...MUST DO ACTIVITY! We loved the Hydrojet! The sunset cruise is so worth it and very memorable! Due to weather we cruised the bay area instead of the gulf. We were introduced to Crab Island, saw dolphins jumping and playing in the waves and cruised around before stopping for a bit to take in the day"s sunset. SO BEAUTIFUL! BRING YOUR PHONE or camera and the crew will gladly take your picture with the sunset background. The people are so nice too. Very easy to work with and communicate with. Best activity We did on our vacation!

The speed varied but it was fine. I appreciated the detailed information given during the tour. Good music was played. My family had an awesome time!

Negative experience: I booked it in advance and showed up on time. They cancelled. Said they were underbooked. Wonder why? Maybe because they cancel on people when they arrive! All the other boats ran that day.

Fantastic experience: We had a great time on this tour! The crew were amazing and were very gracious in helping my mom who has issues with her knees and uses a walker, they made sure she was seated first and had a bigger secure seat as she was unable to straddle the normal seats. The tour was beautiful the water calm the music was pumping, we saw 8 dolphins, we loved it!! My parents my husband and I had a wonderful time and we will be back very soon!

Negative experience: Please save your money and go on one of the cheaper dolphin tours. We was told when we called that he would take us between 40 and 60 mph. This is the ONLY reason we booked this tour. We have gps speed tracker on our phone and the max we got was 20 mph. It was so slow and boring, we could have stood up the whole time, just like the caption and the girls helping with the boat did! Don’t call yourself a “jet” if you are going to go the same speed as standard tour boat. We did get to see dolphins and jelly fish, that was the only thing that made it not just a slow boat ride. This was a overpriced dolphin ferry! We felt like we was lied to when we called just so they could get a sale!

Fantastic experience: My sister in law and I wanted to go on a fast boat and this definitely fit the bill! It was a fun, short 1 hour ride. We saw dolphins up close, got our speed kick and learned a few things from the captain & first mate, who are very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. We were able to have our own seats because there were some extra but the seats are made for 2 people. This could be an issue for anyone of a larger size though if the boat was at full capacity. It was also a very hot day and there is no shade on the boat, so take that into consideration too if sensitive to sun. Overall, I recommend!

Negative experience: You can get a better experience with other tours . We been on a few others while visiting. This one was quite boring. It doesn't really go fast and your lucky if you see any wildlife. Our parasailing boat ride was better to be honest. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you really want to go out in the ocean and everything else is sold out.

Negative experience: The views were nice when we weren’t being pummeled by ocean water. The driver went fast and the water was rough. My son was crying because the water was hitting us so hard.

Fantastic experience: Where do I start? I checked in with the Hydrojet for our sunset cruise and we were greeted by Cherrie. Cherrie was very kind and just the sweetest. She was excited for us to fill out our waiver and be on her boat this evening. Trigger and CJ were also awesome! So we boarded the Hydrojet and just WOW! Music, good people and The Hydrojet is such a FUN boat. We did see dolphins, the Captain set the boat up for Sunset pics. It simply was awesome! Thank you Hydrojet for the fun filled boat ride. I absolutely loved it! A Big Thank you to Cherrie, RJ, CJ, Trigger and all of the other HJ staff. You all ROCK!

Fantastic experience: it was easy to find parking in the dirt gravel lot. there werent many waves when we went out on the water but hydrojet buddied up with another boat and created a couple to get the dolphins jumping for us! the guides were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. these boats were not allowed to drive as fast as the similar rides in Miami but they were able to give us an exciting, and grooving ride that had us soaked by the time we got off! i definitely recommend this dolphin tour!

Good music, the captain will take you to Crab Island and tell you about the most favorite destination of Destin. And please bring some cash, so you can tip the crew.

Negative experience: Booked a trip for the morning they left us, wouldn’t work with us we got caught in traffic wouldn’t recommend this company. We were in parking lot continued to leave us. Just took our money didn’t try to work with us to reschedule a different time. Spend your money elsewhere because we’re out of $100.

Negative experience: Spent $175 to do this with my kids while visiting from Oklahoma and there was a pile up on the highway, which was going to make me late for check in. I called to let them know and they refused to refund my money or allow us to go on another day/time. Told me I was just out the money and they couldn't help me. Offered no other options. Would not recommend! There are plenty of other companies in the area that do similar activities and treat their customers respectfully. We found the Hannah Marie right next door to them and they were phenomenal! Check them out!
