Fantastic experience: After a lifetime of wanting to try scuba, I signed up for the intro class last fall. As soon as I was geared up and breathing underwater in the pool I knew I wanted more! I signed up for the Open Water certification and completed that in March. Dive Georgia made the experience of putting my kit together and completing the training enjoyable and informative. The instructors were excellent and I had an incredible time learning how to dive! If you want to try scuba, this is the shop for you!

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I was set up with the perfect gear. They answered every question with deep knowledge and genuine care, making the entire process—from equipment selection to navigating the certification steps—smooth and enjoyable. The instructors were fantastic, guiding us through both closed water and open water dives with clarity and a focus on safety while still making the experience fun. Having been through other scuba certifications before, I can confidently say that Dive Georgia provided the best and most personalized experience I've ever had. Fantastic experience: I want to extend a very heartfelt "Thank you" to Brian, Emily, and Conrad. They were instrumental in my earning my instructor credentials. They were extremely supportive and offered great feedback and advice. I could not have asked for a better team to get me through my instructor training and truly feel that I have gained 3 new SCUBA family members through this experience. They will not "give" you your instructor credentials, but will help you to "earn" them. Again a huge thank you to each of you, I don't think I could have done it without your patience, professionalism, and wholehearted support.

Negative experience: EDIT: At 1:28pm on 12/1, I called Dive Georgia to confirm that the suit was received, inspected, and that the rental was closed out. Then I left my 1 star review below. By 2:30pm the owner, Brian, has seen my review, replied to it, and texted me to assess a new "cleaning" fee because the drysuit was "dirty." When I refused, he decided to call me a miserable and unhappy person. Add "extremely unethical" to my review below, but at least interactions with the owner Brian will leave the customer with the kind of life-changing personal growth that can apparently only be achieved through derisive text messages from someone who couldn’t care less about ethics. ORIGINAL REVIEW: While the rental rate for a drysuit was fair, the professionalism and competency of the staff left much to be desired. Despite confirming beforehand that the stock Hollis XL drysuit (chart size 10M) would fit a size 12 foot, it did not. The drysuit was also poorly folded and stored with the dump valve fully closed, suggesting a lack of basic drysuit handling knowledge. The worst part was returning the drysuit. I confirmed in person that the store would be open until 6 PM on the Wednesday before a holiday and planned my schedule accordingly, driving an hour out of my way. Despite arriving over 15 minutes before closing, the shop had closed early without notice. With a flight to catch, I was forced to leave the drysuit at a restaurant next door, exposing myself to potential liability. Attempts to contact the shop were unsuccessful until I reached the owner, Brian, who was completely unapologetic. Despite his assurance that staff would confirm receipt of the drysuit, I had to follow up myself, as they failed to communicate within three days of receiving the equipment. Save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere. Dive Georgia's lack of professionalism and disregard for customer time and effort are simply not worth it.

Fantastic experience: Greatest dive shop I have ever walked into!! Great staff, gear, classes and dive trips. An overall friendly environment to learn or just meet fellow divers!!!

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually do group trip but I’m so glad I did with Dive Georgia for Dominica trip in Nov. they have been nothing but tip notch. Superb communications with trip leader, Emily and pre trip meeting to the end of trip. Emily and Brian made sure we were well informed on day to day dive plan and other fun optional tours on island. When my inflator started to free flow, Conrad and other trip group member helped so I didn’t have to call off the dives. I was thankful for all the helps I got. I have to say this was probably one of the best dive trips I’ve ever taken and this will not be my first and last trip with dive Georgia.

Fantastic experience: Reactivation/recertification class was smooth and efficient, covering the skills most needed to remember. Eric was great, patient and professional, reminding us that we were certified divers and just a bit rusty. Practiced what we needed and he supported us like a pro.

Fantastic experience: Attended the Confined Water portion of my Open Water Certification this past weekend. I was excited, but nervous at the beginning, but gradually was able to feel more confident in my abilities to handle situations that might arise. There was a lot to learn and our instructor, Anna, was amazing in giving us directions, demonstrating, and being right there as we completed required skills. She was so patient with us and worked with us when we needed a little extra attention. This course has been great and the whole staff at Dive Georgia have been helpful with obtaining equipment to planning a trip. They are truly excited to share the experience of SCUBA!

Emily was humble, compassionate, and deeply passionate about diving and safety for the sport she loves.

Fantastic experience: Every one was excellent from the staff to my classmates as well as the other customers in the store. The Open Water class was very fun while still being able to learn a lot. Conrad was my pool dive instructor and made the initial classes very easy to understand and enjoyable. When it came time for my Open water portion of the class Eric was my dive master. Most of the diving was a great and a very relaxing learning experience with a couple friendly fish along the way. When the dives got difficult Eric was always calm and was able to explain what to do to clearly, resulting in a great couple days of diving at Kraken Springs!

Fantastic experience: I did the PADI Discover Scuba Diving class with Eric last Saturday. Eric was a great instructor, going in depth about all the techniques he taught me. I did my confined water with Stefan and learned a lot. Finally I did my open water with Chelsea and she was amazing. She was patient and gled me thru an ear issue I was having. I had a fantastic time and def recommend Dive Georgia!

Fantastic experience: The premiere diver training and diver supply/service location. Recently took the Open Water Certification course here. The instructors for the course (Emily & Anna) provided top notch instruction and support. Their attention to detail, passion for the sport and desire to see their students succeed is worthy of a five star review. Fantastic experience: I just completed a PADI EFR and Diver Rescue courses through Dive Georgia/Kraken Springs facility. Amy - the lead instructor and Anna - the co-instructor (deserves and earned) the highest praise from this student. I assert that you will not find better instruction and be prepared for a thorough workout, both mentally and physically. It is my observation having taken the forementioned courses that Dive Georgia takes professional scuba training extremely serious and to the highest level possible. Further, I completed the PADI Enriched Air (EANx) course with Eric who is another fabulous instructor through Dive Georgia. This team of dive instructors truly enjoy sharing their scuba diving passion with other students.

Fantastic experience: HUGE thanks to the absolutely lovely Anna S for being so patient with me yesterday as I bought my first wetsuit and boots! I have some tactile sensory issues and the first few suits I tried on almost made have a melt down and she was so kind about it - and never even blinked when I finally found a men’s wetsuit that I liked! She was so accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dive Georgia. I went into the shop as a total novice and 3 weeks later I had completed my Open Water training and was ready to go. The staff at the shop is friendly and helpful. I got all my gear as well as explanations and advice that left me ready for my classes. The training courses were run with a high degree of professionalism, but also good humor. I had Rob for my first two days of training and his enthusiasm for diving, solid coaching and affable demeanour were infectious. My whole group developed a strong chemistry and quickly got comfortable with the new skills. I had Eric for Open Water and, again, his passion, sense of humor and knowledge let my group feel at ease in a new environment. The experience was a great one and I had yet to encounter someone at the shop who didn't make life easier for me as I figured things out. Fantastic experience: I took the confined water class (Saturday and Sunday) with Rob and it was amazing! I have diagnosed anxiety and I was super shocked how at ease I was during the course! Rob was very communicative by sending emails and responding to any question or concern anyone had. Class was fun, engaging, and way more enjoyable than I anticipated. The friendly environment as well as the support provided by the course, Rob, and my classmates was extraordinary. The process of buying my gear was efficient and easy. I was walked through step by step by the staff (Nolan, Chelsea, and Eric). They gave me time to think about what gear was the best fit for me and I felt comfortable with my purchase! Chelsea was coaching another individual at the pool and she said hello to me by name and asked me how I was doing which is excellent customer service! I’m looking forward to open water! Great atmosphere from the shop to pool center!

Fantastic experience: I just just take my Dive Master class with Dive Georgia. Rob, was our coach during the last 2 weekends All i have to say is i really enjoy it. It was stressful, intense, and sometime i get discouraged by not being able to perform as I would like. Rob was very patient and gave us the tools to improved. during the skills tests . I learned a lot about scuba diving skills and the way to share it with others. I will highly recommend Dive Georgia for any ascuba Diving certification.

Fantastic experience: I've gone on 4 trips with Dive Georgia and had an absolute blast on all of them. These trips provide the perfect balance of structure (Meaning excellent detail regarding travel, accommodations, dive training and dive operator options) with the flexibility for you to do independent non-diver activities and exploration too. The instructors are informative, helpful, and generally just all around gems! Will definitely travel with them in the future.

Fantastic experience: Just took my first dive with Dive Georgia to Jupiter FL and had a wonderful time. Emily was a joy to dive with and she planned every aspect in such fine detail. Everything was well thought out from supplying us with gear checklists to a full itinerary including restaurants where we would meet to tell our undersea tales. Unfortunately, Hurricane Ian cut our adventure short but not before we had some fantastic dives and the group developed a great sense of camaraderie. It doesn’t get any better!

Emily took care of all of the details with the local dive shop and resort to allow us to fully relax and enjoy.
