TurnKey Vacation Rentals - North Tahoe

Negative experience: I'd like to preface by saying that the rental itself has been great. However when we initially looked into booking I spoke with a rental agent who guaranteed that during our 1.5 month stay we would be able to get a house cleaner to come in "as many times as we wanted" for free. Three weeks in I called TurnKey and it turns out that the original agent lied and that any interim cleanings would cost 300+. I guess I will be recording any conversations I have with your company from here on out. Please at least get your representatives on the right page, and if they don't know the answer, don't confidently guarantee a wrong one.

Fantastic experience: Turnkey vacation rentals was top notch! We had a great experience from check in to checkout. We will definitely use their services again in the future. Any time we had a question they responded immediately and met all of our needs.

Negative experience: Worst landlord management I have ever experienced in a vacation rental. I'm astonished at all the positive reviews, because YELP is just the opposite, and the reviews on YELP reflect what happened with us. Stayed at a 4 bedroom high end property in Truckee at the tail end of an epic snow event. Stayed for 4 nights. Issues such as promised plowing didn't occur, trash from previous tenants hadn't been removed, confusing access information that caused us to book a local hotel for a night, but then told at 5PM we really could access the house, incomplete and non existant manuals on how to run various kitchen appliances. But the absolute worst, was the COMPLETE lack of communication while all this was going on. Essentially we were left to fend for ourselves from driveway shoveling, to repairing the master bedroom door that was laying on it's side when we moved in. And when did I finally hear from them, 3 days after our departure. And then offering a $100 refund on an obscene nightly rental. Read YELP. Our experience with TurnKey is much more in keeping with their 1 star rating.

Positive experience: Me and a group of friends had a really good experience renting a house in Truckee for a week from TurnKey Vacation Rentals. We found them to be extremely responsive to our needs. The check-in process was super-smooth and the information provided was very detailed. The house we rented was very clean and comfortable. It also had an extremely well appointed kitchen. At one point, there were five of us working in different parts of the house. Sometimes, we were on zoom calls at the same time. I would definitely rent again from them. I'm taking off one star only because an exceptional experience, at least for me, would require that we did not have to contact them for anything during our stay. Plus points for being dog-friendly!

Positive experience: Very automated response and interaction, not personalized at all. Not willing to accommodate anything outside of the preset reservation. We've had much better and more personalized interaction with other property management in the area.

Negative experience: Location: cabin in Truckee Pros: beautiful views, a lot of space for activities. Enough rooms and bed for a big party. Donner lake was near also would be a great location during snow time. Cons: Cleaning of the cabin was less than average, once entering the garage smells of rotten meat.. it made it unbearable to even be in there..plus there was a load in the washer that was left and smelling and the fridge was semi cold the first night and ended up not working the second. All our food ended up spoiling. Reached out to maintenance and no one came.

Fantastic experience: The Turnkey condo at Northstar was amazing! Exactly as pictured and promised. It was super clean when we arrived and well stocked with what they stated would be there. It even had some family games, dvd's and books! Great perk and surprise! The property itself was very easy to find, well maintained and amazing. Small shops, eateries and even a Starbucks right in the same vicinity was very nice! Turnkey was very responsive with all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend booking with them!!

Fantastic experience: North Lake Tahoe was amazing the place was far away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to everything you would want to do in Lake Tahoe. We’ve always stayed in South Lake Tahoe but this place was a great little family getaway. Truly home away from home!

Fantastic experience: This was a great rental due to the communication and availability of Turnkey whenever I needed them. The house was clean, as described and access was well documented. They were super proactive in all their emails and texts, and anticipated the exact information I needed BEFORE I requested it, in order to feel comfortable and make for a stress free stay. Negative experience: This place is the worst. They gave us false information about the house we reserved, it is impossible to talk to a manager and they will not give you a phone number to talk to a manager if you have a serious problem. If you call for help, they’ll tell you they will call you back and they won’t call back… and when you attempt to call again you will always get someone different. We were guaranteed a house with a/c, we get there and no a/c. All they can do is reimburse for the rental but no consideration of travel costs, or excursion costs, etc. No help with finding different accommodations either. We had proof of two messages… before booking… where a representative from turnkey confirmed that there was a/c, there wasn’t. We rented our place through vrbo but apparently this is a third party group that works with vrbo. Beware of this company. They ruined our family vacation. (Edit)Looks like I can’t reply to the response I got that doesn’t address anything. How about first replying to the fact that the way you deal with customers over the phone is completely insane. Why don’t we get calls back in a timely fashion, why can’t you give us a number for a manager to call? Apparently that is against your policy. How about this phone correspondence… “if a turnkey representative told me over the phone that there was a/c, but I don’t have written proof of it… are we just screwed?” Turnkey representative “yes” Luckily my sister found the messages so we could at least get refunded. Multiple people in this party took time off work just to have to turn around and drive hours to go home. We had a rental in Northstar and our reservation was under Lindsay S. If you want to make it right reimburse us for gas money for the trip to Truckee and back for two families and money already paid for excursions… and maybe reprimand whoever it was that told us there was a/c (we showed you two messages of the turnkey person saying there was a/c)

Fantastic experience: Details were provided prior to our arrival and the property was exactly what is posted online. Beautiful, peaceful and we reached out to their Customer Service for a few questions. No hold times, questions were answered and their representative was very cordial on the phone.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is the original property I rented sold, and I needed a place to propose to my (now) fiancé. The team at Turnkey VR, not only had to deal with an irate (me) but also found another property within the same location, but also provided with the most amazing backdrop, a pier, on a crystal blue lake, with snow capped mountains in the background. True professionalism and first class customer service. I was mad and let down at the thought of a secondary or back up property, but I was throughly impressed and the expectation was surpassed. Thank you again and we look forward to renting with you in/on future vacations.

Fantastic experience: This was our second visit. Beautiful, quiet, cul-de-sac cabin steps away from Sugar Pine Point State Park (which has miles of hiking and mountain biking trails). Bring your bikes (or rent) and ride the Truckee River Bike Trail (great for kids; no cross traffic) or Tahoe Rim trail. Rent paddle boards and kayaks nearby. SO many spots to swim on lake (but have to drive or bike.) Don't miss Eagle Rock hike (short but very steep; the BEST view of the west shore I have ever seen.) The cabin was built with gorgeous window views of sugar pines. So quiet you can hear the birds! Fully stocked kitchen but remember dishwashing machine detergent and laundry detergent. There are nightlights everywhere to be able to move around in the dark (brilliant as I always travel with some.). FYI: Not a lot of board games (please consider adding more), heater makes noise at night so if traveling with sound sensitive people, bring a sound machine. Top bunk of bunkbed room squeaked; same thing. Sound machine if needed. Our internet was not working and we had conflicting directions (email said one thing but info book at entry had a totally different wi-fi name and password.) Steep inside stairs, if you have little kids and/or people with mobility issues.) Our first visit we had 4 adults and two young teens. We fit just fine. The beds are super comfortable. The couch, too. We have already booked our third visit for early fall. Can't wait to come back to Sugar Pine Haus.

Positive experience: The resort was amazing. I wanted a ski in/out place and they do offer that and I think I rentals. Shortest lift lines you can ask for. It is for Squaw ski resort. The rental property itself was hard to get information from to the point that I thought I might be getting scammed. Seriously I cannot stress enough how bad the communication was. The hotel did not get prior heads up that we had rented the room for the night. We were a very late arrival (2am or so) so that did not help (obviously). Although because there was not prior notification it delayed my check in process so it took about 30-45 mins to check in. I can not stress how great the resort is though. On site bar. On site restaurants. (Super delicious pulled pork sandwich and the desserts!!!! Yes!) On site shops. On site coffee/breakfast. On-site spa-(heated?) pool. I went to snowboard and people were in the regular pool. On-site LIFTS!!! (Definitely the shortest line! But get your lift ticket prior to the day for no hassle by the liftees) The lobby had a great fireplace to relax in front of too if you want that sort thing.

Fantastic experience: This property was perfect for our family, particularly it being right off the highway with little worry of bad roads. TurnKey went above and beyond staying in touch with us and sending info to us via email and text. There was even a tablet in the property to be used to contact TurnKey and find out relevant information. Very impressive!

Positive experience: The house is in a great location. It’s nice and clean. The only problem we had was with the Wi-Fi. And unfortunately the house didn’t come with cable TV. It was all through Wi-Fi,like Netflix and Hulu Apple TV which made it hard to watch TV because it was buffering all the time.

Fantastic experience: We really enjoyed our trip and turnkey vacation rentals made it really easy. Our location that we stayed at was well cared for and offered privacy and all the amenities we could need. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Positive experience: Turnkey was professional our entire trip. They were available 24/7. Everything was mapped out so I did not have to worry about any surprises at check out or after. They were available fairly quickly with a dilemma we had with the tv/ internet and tried to contact the owner for our heat issue. None of the issues we had were caused by turnkey but they tried everything they could to fix them for us. We will use them again for our rental needs. One con I will say is that the cleaners don't do that great of a job. It looked good upon arriving but items were noticed later in the trip. Some of the pillows on the bed smelled terrible. We found an unwrapped condom on the floor in one of the kids rooms. As we were heading out, we witnessed the cleaner remake up the trundle with the same sheets and blanket that we used without washing them. It made me wonder if they did the same before we checked in... the cleaners need adequate time to clean thoroughly! Even more so now in Covid season.

Negative experience: This company is absolute scammers. Just like all the other 1 star reviews we are out our money. We didn’t even try to cancel our reservation, we just wanted to reschedule do to the winter storm warning. Truckee was under warning to receive 7’-12’ of snow and roads were closed. They wouldn’t even help us reschedule. They are still charging us the $200 cleaning fee even though no one stepped foot into the residence. I would be ashamed to use this company as my property management. Please, please, please do your research and book with another management company.

Negative experience: They cancelled my vacation rental last minute due to travel restrictions in the Tahoe area, but instead of refunding my money so I can rent somewhere else during the same time period where I have already made several other arrangements, they are only offering me a future stay credit at the same residence. They will not offer a refund so they can keep their fees and pay the property owner, but leave the customer high and dry. This is not how other rental companies like AirBnb and VRBO are handling such situations and despite what it might say in their contacts, they should offer refunds to their customers when they cancel their reservations last minute.

Fantastic experience: I was informed on all the details of renting this property through emails, on the tablet at the condominium, and written ; leaving no questions as to how to operate any items in the house or where to park , and opening the front door. They informed us concerning early check in or check out - (really wished check out was alittle later than 10am) because we throughly enjoyed this beautiful property .

Fantastic experience: Loved the North Tahoe Truckee home. 3 big bedrooms, 2.5 bath, laundry, 2 decks (upstairs and downstairs) and amazing amenities and close to a lot to do. Turnkey kept me in the loop prior to our visit and even the day before we left letting us know check out time. House was very clean and bed we slept in was the most comfortable of any rental we've ever had. This is a good location and we look forward to renting again. Our experience with TurnKey Vacation Rentals was seamless; highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Stayed at there location in Truckee,Ca and had the best time ever. There 3 bedroom cabin house was equipped with everything you can posible think of! My kids and in-laws enjoyed there stay at Lake Tahoe. I recommend staying at their locations. They had pots and pans, kitchen essentials, board games, lake tubing and kayak stuff. I will be staying there again!

Fantastic experience: I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived at our rental home- it was sparkling clean, furnished nicely, and had the extras we needed for the time we spent there (e.g., dish soap, laundry soap, paper supplies, etc.). We would 100% book their TurnKey again, and likely the same rental property we stayed at.

Fantastic experience: Very nice vacation home. We booked it for a long weekend. It was great they sent a text the day of arrival saying we could get into the home earlier and same at checkout. The house was super clean. Great layout that worked perfectly for us. The beds were very comfortable. We cooked two dinners and a big breakfast and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice to have the 2 car garage also so the cars weren’t as cold heading to Squaw for a day skiing. All in all a very nice home that we will rent again. Only slight complaint was there were only 3 or 4 hangers in each closet but plenty of drawer space. We did see a bobcat walking behind the home one morning. Also highly recommend the Drunken Monkey in Truckee. Great food!

Fantastic experience: This house took our breath away! It's located up the hill about a few miles from I-80 in a quiet neighborhood. The Donner museum, Safeway, and downtown Truckee are just a short drive away. This place is very well decorated. The pictures on VRBO are accuate. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, and the heated floors throughout were awesome! We enjoyed turning on the fireplace and watching movies on the BluRay with surround sound. We enjoyed the pool table downstairs, and took advantage of the wine fridge in the kitchen. Communication with Turnkey was exceptional! Very friendly and responded quickly. We felt taken care of, and we really enjoyed our stay!!!

Positive experience: Great property at an amazing resort. Bed was comfortable with beautiful Mountain View’s. My only wish was that they could have let us have a late checkout. 10:00am is way too early. We departed on a Sunday and I’m pretty sure that no one was arriving after us. Other than that, we stayed at the resort for a much more affordable price!

Positive experience: The code to the front door did not work, so I was given the code for the key lock instead...well those keys did not work for the front door neither. We had to go around to the back door every time! And we were there for 5days! turnkey never sent anyone to fix that. -The house wasn't clean -No garbage bags, we had to go and buy some. -Unsafe stairs and railing for kids (not sure that's up to code) -Dirty shower curtain in master bedroom

While at the property they contacted us to see how it was going and if we needed anything. They fixed a few of the small issues we had with the property very quickly. Fantastic experience: This is the second time we have rented a ski vacation house through Turnkey and on both occasions not only have we been really please with the house, we also have been very satisfied with the rental experience through Turnkey. I really appreciate the ease of reservation, their proactive communication and the level of attention and access they provide. Ease of reservation: Nice website with rental details and transparent communication of all fees and costs - no surprises. Proactive Communication: Very glad to see how well they have adopted technology to communicate the rental details, early check-in and late check-out options (without even asking for them), text messaging or door code, address etc. In addition a phone number for urgent support or to text for non-urgent issues. Level of Attention and Access: When we arrived at our rental in a snow storm, the access to the house door was not available. We called their support line and got someone without a wait. They demonstrated concern and the appropriate level of urgency and found us an alternative way to get in. The individual stayed on the phone with me to ensure that our family was able to get in to the house safely. Later in the trip when there was a chance that we maybe stuck in Tahoe beyond our planned stay, they offered to provide us with help in finding a place for our family. Thankfully we did not need it but this level of attention and customer service was much appreciated by us. We are now Turnkey fans and no doubt, we will be exclusively renting though them.

Positive experience: The pictures did the cabin no justice ! It was beautiful . I loved the decor and how clean everything was . Pros : House was easy to find Easy access to inside House was spotless Decor was beautiful Spacious Beds were comfortable Cable Games Pots / pans some seasoning Spacious back yard Towels and toiletries provided Turnkey was very helpful when needed Washer/dryer Close to stores/ bars Cons : I had a party of 10 and were laughing and playing board games not even an hour into our stay we received Texts stating there were noise complaints. I reassured them that we weren’t doing anything but we’ll keep it down . Another hour passed and I received two more texts stating noise complaints, by now I was feeling harassed and I decided to call Turnkey because I was confused where the complaints came from ? My party was very respectful and we all were just trying to enjoy ourselves . After the phone call the texts stopped abruptly. Which was kind of odd but at least I continued to enjoy the night . Overall that was the only issue I had, but I would recommend and rent this cabin again in the future .

Negative experience: Sadly our vacation experience deserves 1 star with Turn-Key. We came for Christmas as a present to our children and after a 6hr red-eye flight and 4hr drive from San Fran...we arrived to a filthy home. The iPad that Turn-Key touts as making its guests stay efficient and connected wasn’t even programmed up let alone cleaned off (looked like a toddler had been eating on it). The living room was covered in hair (dog & human), crumbs (the last epeople must have liked pretzels) and dirt. When I called Turn-Key they let me know they had been so busy (it was their busiest day) and wouldn’t be able to get someone to us for a “re-clean” til the next day...who could sit down and relax in a filthy home so we cleaned it ourselves!! My family (children 9 &11) had to physically remove the carpets and vacuum the dirt and grim out from off the floor. The kitchen was also missed: from spilled coffee grounds to old spaghetti sauce & noodles on the cooktop- gross!!! And if that all wasn’t enough- there were someone else’s clothes still hanging in the master closet along with a good dose of cobwebs on the lamps, dirty ceiling fans and the list goes on. The ceiling fans and cobwebs show that not only did Turn-Key do a terribly poor clean job before our arrival, they missed a lot of every cleaning because that dirt had clearly been there since summertime. Just completely unacceptable for what we paid (over $500/night). When I called for compensation they offered half the cleaning fee back....HALF!!! Ha! Eventually after many phone calls they offered the entire cleaning fee ($200) but I’m sorry that just simply won’t due for the messy horrible impression you made and ruined the first days of our well deserved hard earned vacation! The hoops I had to jump through and countless phone calls, plus the complete lack of empathy and customer care give this company 1 star. For a service company, you should be ashamed anyone walks away with the experience myself and my family endured with you at a huge pricetag!

Positive experience: We visited the condo in the late fall, when there was no snow. My family enjoyed the pool several times over the days we were there. We like the location near Tahoe City. We went to several restaurants within an easy drive, all of which we would gladly go back to on a future visit. We also went to Commons Beach, which was very close, and rented kayaks for a lovely afternoon workout on the water. The facility was consistent with the pictures. Everything we needed worked. Our daughter and grandkids all said they would come back without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Great stay great company

Positive experience: We had a ten day stay at this rental. While the cabin had some design oddities, after ten days we pretty much adapted. The cabin was mostly clean and comfortable. There was dog hair on the carpet, but the place does allow pets and I guess the vacuum wasn't powerful enough to handle it. We want to let the cabin manager know there are a couple of kitchen drawers that need some ball bearings replaced, very difficult to open. Overall we had a lovely time, and I must say we really like TurnKey! They are very good with communication, detailed instructions, and the key code entry was very convenient. Only disappointed there was no recycling. We'd love to rent from them again.

Minor issues with it taking over 5 minutes for hot water (central unit and not many residents). Shower head sucks. Lots of gadgets with little instruction. 7 Remotes including the one we found under the bed that ran the bedroom TV. Would look for same unit if we return

Fantastic experience: Great Cabin for a group staying in Tahoe. The layout of the upstairs was perfect for a community environment that brought everyone together. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. The beach access and dock was one of our favorite parts of the trip and this cabin!

Fantastic experience: TurnKey vacations rental is outstanding! The customer service and follow up is impeccable during our stay at this rental property. I highly recommend both TurnKey and the condo that we stayed at, what a cool place. The amenities in the condo were top-notch and the place was spotless. Hi/Lo report: 1) Excellent TV's in every bedroom and family room, 2) gas grill on the patio, 3) Kitchen had everything you need , 4) Bathrooms were well stocked and modern, 5) Garage access with cool Jim Hendrix and guitar player posters, 6) Bedrooms had outstanding adjustable beds and comfortable linens, 7) Family room: Movies, Playstation, nice sofas, and music. The closet has every board game you could imagine, we just loved it. Lo's: None. We were on a four guys golf trip so we just slept and ate and didn't spend much time in the condo; however, this would be great place for kids since it has numerous entertainment options.

Fantastic experience: TurnKey has great customer service. They are quick to respond and make checking-in extremely easy. I’ll continue to look for their properties when I book my vacations.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience with our vacation rental at Tahoe! The Turnkey staff were very communicative throughout the rental process. They made sure we had all the information we needed to check in, have a pleasant stay, and check out smoothly. They sent regular texts and e-mails with information and made themselves available for any questions or needs during our stay. The place was very clean and just as presented on the website. We would definitely stay there again and recommend this great Tahoe cabin!

Fantastic experience: Cabin was roomy enough for our party of 8 and a dog. Back deck was a wonderful place to relax. Everything was very convenient: locks, garage, guest passes, ipad mini dedicated to help us with area interests, food, weather, etc..

Positive experience: Very roomy, nice backyard, and extremely convenient to Truckee and Truckee golf courses. Maybe too convent because some of the rooms facing highway 80 heard traffic noise throughout the night. It was hot in Tahoe when we visited so we kept the windows open at night. During the second night we used ear plugs and everything was fine.

Fantastic experience: I loved staying at this property. The house was spotless and very well laid out. The BIG kitchen had all the cooking supplies you could ask for. All new appliances. Only downsides - internet did not connect and it took until the next day to get a call back from area rep., but it was not a huge inconvenience. The master bedroom does not have a closet, so I would suggest adding an armoire (for hanging clothes) and portable luggage racks. Oh, and the cords on some of the accordion blinds need to be replaced. But, I would definitely stay at this home again :)

Fantastic experience: Turnkey vacation rentals is well organized and did impress with the ease of access to all the homes and surrounding accommodations. North lake Tahoe, the villas. The house we stayed in was very nice and pretty much really clean, awesome views of the lake from patio. The surrounding neighborhood was nice and quiet with friendly people around. Really close to a bike trail that goes around whole lake. Thanks for the great stay Turnkey!

Fantastic experience: My family of eight had a fabulous time at this beautiful cabin. All the four bedrooms are so spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was a dream to cook in. We really enjoyed the family room that has a large couch and TV. We had so much room to spread out in. I recommend the home for a happy and memorable experience!

Fantastic experience: One of our Happy Places to go is KingsBeach! This Condo was very nice and cozy. Had everything you would need. Any issues they are quick to respond and help. Would definitely stay there again.

Positive experience: It was an amazing experience once we enter this vacation rental home. It was very clean and same as in pictures. The deck is nice surrounded by large trees. This is a very well maintained property and good for 10 people. The only complaint I have is they didn’t clear the trash from the garage when we moved in.

Positive experience: The condo/townhouse is very attractive, nicely decorated and has been renovated with quality furnishings. The location was excellent for us, walking distance for toddlers to the beach. Beach items were supplied by the owners, and they were very nice and useful. Downsides: all pots and pans were worn-out and need to be replaced asap, had to call numerous times to Turnkey to get basics like dish towels and sheets for the sofa bed sleepers. Biggest issue was with Internet - which didn't work with Apple/Mac devices, and only worked with one Samsung phone. Turnkey was powerless to get this fixed, and strung us along for a week - never got fixed. ATT Cell service did not work in the house - had to stand in the road to talk on the phone, so just beware. We had some telecommuters, so this was a big problem. Turnkey reps are very pleasant, but not very effective except at billing. I would use the condo again, but I would check on a few items first. Bring your own can opener and tea kettle.

Positive experience: The neighborhood of Tahoe City was lovely with lots of friendly people. The home has pros and cons. Pros - great music, bed comfortable, & well stocked kitchen, good location. Cons - terribly hot during the day (need a couple of ceiling fans), furnishings very old, worn, and plain, patio was dirty, house smelled very mildewy. Recent bear break-ins to homes in the area added a little stress.

Fantastic experience: TurnKey Vacation Rentals do a fantastic job of communicating with you at all times, before, during and after your trip. There was never a time I could not make contact with a TurnKey professional. Their employees are very helpful and explain in detail what the expectations of the property are and then also what you can expect out of the property. I would most definitely use a TurnKey Vacation Rental property again. You are the BEST!!

Positive experience: House was spacious, clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and beds were comfortable. The grill ran out of gas just as we were starting to grill. The thermostat might need adjusting as some of us were too hot at night on main floor. We had 7 people and it was good sized home in a quite neighborhood.

Positive experience: The house at 249 Granite Chief Road is a spectacular private location ideally suited for our group of eight. We were impressed with the well-equipped kitchen. The management company was very courteous and responsive, which was important because of several glaring deficiencies that we discovered upon our arrival. While the access road is steep and windy, the local snow removal crews kept it open and promptly cleared the 83 inches of snow we received during our one week visit. The first discovery was that the internet did not work, which resulted in the first call to the management company for resolution. Next, we discovered that the owner had left clutter everywhere. The dresser drawers and the closets in the bedrooms were filled with the owner’s junk forcing us to unpack our bags and stack clothes on the floor and work around the clutter, which was an inconvenience. Non-functioning electronics were everywhere with an accompanying mess of tangled wires. Only one TV was functional. The front door could not be locked from the inside. The mud room was filled with the owner’s ski equipment, which we were forced to work around. Even though the kitchen was well equipped, the high-end stove only had two of six burners working, the other four having melted and collapsed. The stove’s ignitor maddingly clicked continually and the other two burners were nearly impossible to control and were scary to operate. The spa had a built-in sound system, which, of course, was not working. This house should have been a world-class property considering the rate we paid. While we all understand that rental properties at ski resorts receive significant use pressure, it is obvious that the owner has not been very attentive to its upkeep. Our group has rented in the West for twenty years and this property was far below rental standard. Before renting this house, it would be prudent to check to see that the shortcomings we’ve identified have been corrected.

Positive experience: We love this cabin. It was out second time staying there. Positive experience overall. The cabin is wonderful, and TurnKey was there when we needed them. A couple of issues - The heater did stop working for a day, but Turnkey sent someone out right away to fix/ bring over space heaters. The heater wasn't working again the next morning, but TurnKey did what they can. Also, the TV is a little testy. We did arrive 45 mins. early and weren't allowed to enter which was a little annoying since we have three little kids. We will definitely rent this cabin again. It was WAY more than enough space for our family of 5. You could easily fit two families in the cabin.

Fantastic experience: Really lovely home for a Tahoe family vacation! The only issue we had was the trundle twin bed/ blowup mattress. Even a kid is gonna hate that. Suggest turning the couch in the loft into foldout futon for extra sleep option. Nice jacuzzi tub!

Fantastic experience: Great location and a nicely updated unit! The unit, in Aspen Grove, was a short walk to the rec center and right upstairs from the bus stop. The unit had been recently updated. The only downside was the really old frying pan, lack of lid for said pan, and getting cable to work. (we were able to use the Apple TV, though the owners login session expired, and it was a lot of work to get the Apple TV back to a usable state - but the cable did not work, so we had no "back up" to netflix). (It's possible it worked, but that the instructions were incorrect?)

Fantastic experience: The experience was pretty seamless. We stayed in one of their cabins in north lake tahoe. The place was clean and full stocked with dishes, condiments, blankets, cleaning supplies and pretty much anything one might need for a weekend stay. They also allowed us to have early check-in and late-checkout and told us before hand without even asking which was great. The only issue we had was that one of the beds had a mattress board that was broken so it slouched.

Fantastic experience: Was a seamless experience. Left a wallet and computer behind and they swiftly located and shipped the items back to us. Solid operation!
