Negative experience: The manager of this location is a wonderful person and a huge help. However, the agent we worked with was unhelpful, uninformed and we, as first time travelers, got ourselves into a terrible situation regarding a payment plan and travel protection plan. If you are planning a vacation, be advised DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY SORT OF PAYMENT PLAN. Our agent did not inform us this wasn’t part of the down payment process AND the payment plan is irreversible. He was not even aware this option was available on the payment link emailed to us. As first time customers and having never gone through the process, we had no idea that this would effect the travel protection plan and doing an It has been an absolute nightmare. I would not reccomend Fox Valley Travel to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Fox Travel has the expertise to get you where you want to go within your budget! They are friendly and prompt. Their website also allows you to do it yourself if preferred. There is a small nominal fee for their services. They take the time to really listen to what you are looking for and can get places that often are sold out or unavailable when looking at Expedia or other places. Give them a call today!

Negative experience: I do not recommend or at least I wouldn't recommend the Appleton location. Last yr. My mom used them for trip to Punta cana and it's like they don't actually do much work. The resort we went to for Punta cana was nice but my husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon so it would of been nice to have had some special things planned for us and there was nothing. Actually my son's room and my parents room got more attended to then ours did. There was important information not given to my mom that I was finding out thru FB groups so I had to reach out to them myself to find out what was going on and sounds like the agent we had got fired which didn't surprise me. They didn't provide important information we would of needed so it was good i reached out also they lied about excursions I was interested in doing and said were not an option which I knew wasnt true with all the groups i was on thru FB. My parents just went on a trip with my son and his friend who are both 18 to Jamaica and they used Fox world travel again. Again doesn't sound like they got the greatest agent again. For 1 my mom assumed the agent had them all setup to sit next to each other on the plane but they did not so on way there they were scattered all over. When they got to resort they had to work on that right away to make sure they were sitting next to each other on way back. I think that's just common sense an agent would know to have everyone in a group sitting next to eachother. My mom also told them they wanted a resort that was good for 18 yr Olds as well as adults fun night life and stuff to do similar to the one we were at in Punta Cana. The agent set them up at like a couples/ adults resort. There wasn't a lot of stuff to do for a younger crowd. My son and his friend still had fun but the agent definitely did not listen. My parent are not on FB and they don't look into stuff and when your using an agent you shouldn't have to but I still would. After they got there I decided to look up the resort they were at and I knew right away it was a resort for adults. If your going to use Fox world travel, you should know they don't do much and expect to have to do your own research (you know the work there supposed to do) in order to make sure your going to a place you want to be going to. I would say to just try a different travel place.

Fantastic experience: Megan put together a complicated trip for my friend and I. We wanted to tour Stockholm and Iceland. She was able to find tours for us to choose from that were just what we were looking for. She did great at keeping us informed throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: We had a trip to Ireland fully booked, but the accommodations fell through suddenly. We attempted to salvage that part on our own but quickly realized our flights didn't fit into any package we could find online or they were fully booked. I suggested contacting Fox because I've listened to the show and it's clear they know their stuff. I sent my SOS on a Tuesday night, Julie responded the next day and she was able to put together a spectacular alternative by Thursday. We are over the moon! All that worry was instantly gone and our dream vacation is a reality again.

Fantastic experience: We got great service for a Saturday morning. We don't travel a lot, so we did need help the staff was very friendly and helpful on everything we needed. Thank you again Kiley for all your help.

Fantastic experience: We had a trip get canceled last minute and we were so sad but still wanted to go somewhere. We called Fox World Travel on a Tuesday morning and Julie had many different vacation options to us in less than an hour. We were all booked that afternoon and we flew out 2 days later. She took care of all the details, even with our last minute request, and also called when we got back to ask how everything went! It was an amazing experience and we will for sure call Julie if we need another trip planned in the future!

Negative experience: My husband and I had the dream of going to South Africa for our honeymoon and was so excited to meet with Katie Buss since she has been there. When meeting with her, all she did was rave about the trip she took and wanted to copy that exact trip for our honeymoon. She did not listen to our wishes and was going way over the budget we had set. We left the appointment waiting for Katie to send over more travel options for us, but never heard back.

Negative experience: I recently won a trip voucher from work of $500. Since I can't travel internationally with such a small amount. I asked for some options in Wisconsin. The rep I worked with told me that I could maybe find something on Expedia. After asking about like 5 different hotels, she finally sent me some options. We agreed on a motel in the Dell's, I asked for a 3 day weekend memorial weekend and then booked. Little did I know, she booked me for August. Days later, I was emailed she wasn't with the company anymore. I never once asked for a weekend in August in our emails back and forth. My mistake for not double checking. So we got up to the dells, there was no booking. We ended up paying out of pocket, and had to find another place to stay there was nothing they could do for me. Extremely disappointed!

Negative experience: By far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Sonjia was not only rude, but she clearly does not like her job. There are really no words for how we were treated.

Negative experience: Had initial contact with a rep and then they never got back to me again, even after two follow ups. Very annoyed because I need assistance with international travel plans. I’ll update this review if something changes. It’s possible the rep I was working with left the company, so I don’t want to pass judgment on the whole company.

Negative experience: I've utilized Fox World Travel in the past and all went well for our cruise vacation. So of course naturally I thought this time around I'd contact Fox World Travel again. The experience this time around though was different. I made an appointment and went to the local office after telling the rep on the phone prior what I was looking for. The rep had little options to offer and everything presented was expensive. Why not ask me key questions in what I'm looking for in a cruise? In fact I left the office having to do "homework". I had to spend my time researching cruises and then contacting back the rep one that I had settled on. I told them the price I found etc. They contacted the cruise line and then emailed me back a quote much higher than what I had said I wanted to spend. When I emailed the rep back on why the quote was so high......well that was the last time I ever heard back from the rep. I found the experience truly disappointing. I had to do all the work, there was barely any information provided on what to expect nowadays cruising (Covid protocols etc. since I had not cruised in a few years), and then to be left hanging. The first time around when I used Fox World Travel I left the office feeling excited for a vacation. This time around I was left disappointed and frustrated. I don't think I'll be using Fox World Travel again for future vacations.

Negative experience: I contacted two different travel agents at this company as my boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Europe and both women were rude and impolite on our phone calls. I have worked with a self-employed travel agent in the past to plan a trip to Mexico, and she was incredibly helpful, excited to share in planning a vacation with my family, and so knowledgeable. I did not get that impression what so ever with either of the agents I spoke with at Fox World Travel. Incredibly disappointed considering this is the first vacation we are planning as a couple and our first time venturing to Europe.

She was able to answer all of questions that I had for the trip that I was booking and gave me a few things to consider for future trips. I enjoyed talking with her. When calling her back, I was always able to reach her quickly which was a bonus.

With all of the uncertainty around traveling she has been providing updates for our safety and keeping us informed about updated protocols. Definitely recommend Sue Mischler at Fox World Travel!

Negative experience: Very disappointed with Fox World Travel. We tried reaching out via their customer portal to plan a trip to Oktoberfest in September. We were assigned Barb to help us in our trip planning. She was responsive after our first initial contact (through their portal, Dec 7th) but after that it just fell apart. It was a couple of days before we heard back from her (Dec 10th) from our first response back to her so we tried their portal again and got a different agent who said Barb was already working on our trip and would reach out to her. We finally heard back (Dec 15th) and she informed us that she was working on a rotation furlough (which no big deal to us but we wish she would've explained that in first contact so we would've known this would go slow, which again is fine!). We emailed her back saying that was no problem to us and we were excited to plan this trip (Dec 18th). She emailed back saying (Dec 18th) that she received our email but was just logging off and would return Jan 4th (which again was fine with us and we assumed would happen with Christmas and the New Year). We responded wishing her a Merry Christmas and that we were excited to pick this back up in the New Year when she returned. Well now we are weeks past Jan 4th and have heard nothing. It is so sad and frustrating and we have decided to work with a different travel agent company completely. We had no problem working at a slower pace but I don't feel like we should constantly feel like we are bothering our agent just to get a response. So with all that said we would not recommend Fox Travel, save your money and look elsewhere.

Negative experience: Took place during covid... had to cancel...travel consultant was in office only a few day’s a month.. very unresponsive very unhelpful in trying to attain refunds. Still waiting for flight refunds and not able to get refund for another prepaid purchase. If you try to cancel be prepared to do it on your own. Never ever again.. 500$ loss on a cancelled trip.

Negative experience: Went in to set up a long trip cruise & land package to Alaska. Went over everything that we had on our wishlist for excursions and other stuff. Lady said she would get a price out to us and let us know asap. We gave her two numbers and two emails... Never heard back... lol what a joke. Ended up booking everything ourselves, which ended up being pretty easy. Thanks for nothing!

Negative experience: These people are totally disorganized and were of no help. We had to go to their office several times to sign the same papers. Every time we called, our agent was out and we had to wait until she returned because they didn't have our file. Really? We then had a problem with our flight being delayed, which caused us to miss 3 days of our cruise. Again, they told us to make our own flight and hotel arraignments as necessary. If you think you are going thru a travel agent to help in case of a problem, you will be in for a big surprise with these people. They are happy to take your money but that's where it ends. If I could rate lower than a one I would. Never again will they get my business.
