Fantastic experience: I contacted the owner, Amira, with emergency travels and it felt like she dropped all her work to process my request. Very professional, tenacious, and responds anytime anywhere she may be. Even after my travels, she kept up with all my needs to insure complete satisfaction. Zero hesitation in using Amira's services. She's truly a veteran in this industry and passes her wealth of experience to her customers.

Negative experience: My father purchased four airline tickets for my mother and Aunts. My father asked if there were any agent fees. Per Amira, the owner, she stated there was no agent fee. My father then paid the price. Only later Elie (Louie) provided the receipts for the total amount of the four tickets, however he did not mention that they did in fact charge an agent fee. After my father received the statement, he saw there was an agent fee of $70. My father questioned Amira and Elie about the agent fee. Then, both Amira and Elie made it very difficult to return the money that they said wouldn't be charged to my mother and aunts. It was a major hassle, and Amira and Elie's tones were VERY NASTY. My father's advice to whoever deals with Rena Travel is to make sure to ask if there are any agent fees and at the same time ask for the details of the tickets. Before paying the total cost, make sure there are no additional charges added without your knowledge. In the end, Amira insulted my family and tried to steal from them. She acted like she was doing the biggest favor making them go through hoops to give back the money that she was supposed to never charge. No wonder others say to stay away. *This is in response to Rena Travel comment: The dispute was the embedded agent fee charges. Amira told my father there would be no charge of the agent fee. After, the four airline tickets were purchased for my mother and aunts there was no detail of the charges. My father's billing statement showed there was a $70 AGENT FEE. When he disputed the charge respectfully with Amira, in return, she was unprofessional and disrespectful. Again, the dispute was only for $70 agent fee.

Negative experience: If I could give negative starts I would. I called a couple of weeks ago to inquire about reservations. I was told it would be better to book in person. I told the lady I was traveling from Chicago and that I would be in Michigan on Saturday 03/30. She said they would be open. I asked her more than once if it would better to schedule an appointment, she said no you can just walk in. I understand it’s the Saturday before Easter and the hours are different but I should’ve received a call to correct the wrong information I was given. I made a mistake taking her word for granted. Never again.

I went to a different place and they helped me in no time and got me a deal. What a shame

Fantastic experience: I love Rena travel, i’ve booked here so many times for my family and my close friends and every time it’s been the most fun and amazing vacations. They’re so organized and if anything goes wrong they know what to do. The first time i booked with them my plane got delayed and i let them know they made sure to get me first class seats because of the inconvenience. It was amazing and i’m so lucky for that. They always try their hardest to look for dates and times that work for me and especially the budget. Their prices are amazing and you will not see any like it online. Fantastic experience: This was the first group trip me and my mother took with Rena Travel to Guadalupe, Mexico. The hotel was very nice, modern, and the employees were astonishing. We absolutely enjoyed every part of the trip and Amira is such a kind, sweet, fun, energetic person with such a beautiful soul. We went for five days but we honestly felt like we had seen every part of Mexico and was definitely worth every penny. Amira is on top of everything and very organized. She made the trip go very smoothly. We saw such beautiful basilicas and cities in Mexico City. We were truly very lucky to be on this trip and to have such an amazing travel agent and the group we went with was full with so much energy and love it was truly such an amazing experience to see Guadalupe, Mexico it is truly a trip I will never forget. Fantastic experience: It was my mom’s dream to go to the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City! My aunt had done the trip previously with Amira & we knew she does a wonderful job making sure travelers have a good time! Amira takes you to the most beautifully ornate churches in & around Mexico City. We also attend the Mass of the Roses at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe with thousands of Catholics from around the world. It’s an inspiring day filled with hope & prayer! We also had time for fun including taking a colorful boat ride in the canals where you get to dance with mariachi‘s! This is an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this tour!

Price was great and the your guides were excellent and we got the most out of our experience to Jerusalem. We saw more places than we can imagine. Meaning they actually look for your best interest, not for what they make the most commission on, so they don't try to "car salesmen" you into buying the higher package, they find you the best possible solution within your budget! And because of their years of experience, they can be honest in their recommendations, they will straight tell you know don't go there or here it's too expensive for what you actually get, or it's not the type of trip you are looking for. Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars I would! I called in regards to booking a trip for our family (about 20 people). We sent over all the info upon request and were told that they needed a week to price it out. After TWO weeks I called and was told she never received the text. Then she checked and said that she actually did receive them. Mind you…the whole time she had an attitude. So I asked her very simply if it would be better for me to book through her or just on our own. She said book it your self in the most disgusting rude tone ever and HUNG UP on me. So we found a new travel agent on 14 and dequindre and they are best!!

Fantastic experience: I called Amira 3 weeks before spring break (after doing some of my own research) and she was able to book better airline tickets, and better rooms and save me over 3000 from what Travelocity was going to charge me!!! That’s where I usually book my flights/trips - but never again! Rena travel went above and beyond, and was so quick, nice, professional and friendly. Will be back and highly recommended. Fantastic experience: The only travel agency I can trust! My family and I have been using their service for over 20 years and never doubted it once. Our trips to Armenia, Iraq and Lebanon are always booked with the best airlines and fees. As far as family fun packages, I love and truly appreciate Amira’s and Ellie’s honest judgment about the destination We choose. I once chose a very expensive Hotel in Hawaii and I was told I’m paying money just for the name and I may not enjoy it… I come to find out that what ever Amira said what so true about the place. This agency works from the heart and they’re always there for me and my family. Amira and Elie thank you for your great service.

He was attentive to every detail for us, got us the best price. We arrived in Mexico and we were having trouble with the hotel. He made sure we got our room before their check in time. Answered every text and phone call while we were there. We had issues with transportation and he got us exactly what we needed even the night before we left.
