Negative experience: Expensive, I wanted a vacation package to Vegas and was quoted $6k, I reserved my own hotel and plane ticket for under $2k using the same airline and hotel.

Negative experience: Over 30 year member and will NOT renew. Like many have said, automation has ruined AAA. Stuck on 95 in South ga last weekend, 4 calls to AAA, they all tell you something different. They knew I was on the interstate, last call I was given oh, we thought you were at your residence so no priority. Received call back later that no providers responded so it would be next day. I looked on Internet, made one phone call with "Hook and Book" towing service, actual human answered, my truck was loaded and headed down the road in less than 30 minutes. Big salute to Josh, hook and book towing is awesome! AAA just wants your membership money for doing nothing, don't give it to them. For over 30 yearsi paid them and bought memberships for my kids, mom, all family Members, kinda makes me angry they are so sorry. Good bye losers.

Negative experience: Beware, don’t get a membership with AAA lol abandon you on the side of the road. I don’t understand how technology can wipe out a corporations ability to provide the service people have been paying for. No management will apologize say that they’ll refund you but they don’t reimburse you. They just want to extend your membership you’re paying for nothing you’re going to have to call a tow truck driver yourself anyway Do not get a AAA membership it’s wasted money

Negative experience: Transfered title to my car from California to Georgia…. Need insurance binder.. Have waited four hours for the agent to contact me… I have been a AAA customer for 15 years… They are obviously not interested in doing business so I’m going to pursue a different company… Geico, Progressive, etc.

Negative experience: Got a tow on June 30th and the system marked it as 3 tows and they refuse to fix the mistake they just try and charge me the 100 dollar fee for more tows

Negative experience: I called and requested a battery jump at 5:30 pm around Savannah, GA and didn't receive any contact from them at all until 4AM when I was dead asleep. We set up an appointment for a tech to come to my car between 8am and 10 am the next morning, and again, no call no show. after almost 24 hours without them ever calling me or finding a technician I had to set up an independent shop to tow my car to their shop to look at it. I will NOT be renewing my AAA policy and would strongly recommend to anyone that is looking to join to skip AAA and find other services that actually care about their service.

Negative experience: I need my car towed to my mechanic. It has been 3 days and the tow trucks that said they would come dropped me and took other calls even when one of them had me scheduled from last night. AAA is supposed to be the best. It doesn’t do much good to have a membership if you can’t get service when you need it. This id so rediculous. AAA meeds to revised the rules for drivers. If they say they are coming they need to honor it.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had to use AAA services for a tow. I did not have to longer then an hour and half. The tow rep Scott L. Called me about 30mints in and said apologized for taking so long that he was coming as fast he could from Rincon. Scott was polite knew the area where I was and where I was being towed very well. If I need another tow I hope he comes to assist. 10/10 best tow truck driver I’ve ever meet!! Thank you

Negative experience: AAA is the worst experience ever. Spent all day (8am until 11:30pm and multiple false promises of roadside assistance to tow my car and no results. Customer service is patronizing and unhelpful and I will be cancelling my membership ASAP.

Negative experience: Spend 10 minutes on a phone call with a robot who can do nothing for you, telling all your info only to be put on with an actual live agent to tell them all the info you have been telling the annoying robot. This happens everything time I call. Such a waste of time and energy. The real agent has been very kind and helpful every time but the the robot is so annoying and turns an already bad situation to a horrible situation, not what I signed up for.

Negative experience: AAA was awful! We waiting for over two hours without any contact from anyone. When we finally spoke with AAA again they claimed that they couldn't find anyone to help us.We NEVER head anyone arrive or help us!! We ended up driving on a tire with a hunk of metal sticking out of it!!! AAA was NO HELP AT ALL!

Negative experience: Placed a service call at 833am, it is now 3:35pm, and a technician still has not arrived. I’ve placed. I’ve placed a call 5 times and every time I’ve gotten a different answer. By the way the towing company we finally spoke too has advised they’ve been working for AAA for a few months and they haven’t gotten paid. So what exactly is our membership paying for? By the way we still haven’t gotten our car serviced and I’ve been on hold for 59 mins. We will NOT be Renewing Our contract.

Negative experience: Stuck about 300 miles from home, called AAA and waited for about an hour and a half for someone to tow me, was even willing to pay the excess mileage without knowing how much it would cost. They assured me someone would come pick up the truck, and when I called an hour and a half later, because noone had showed up, they told me they couldn't find anyone and in not so many words, politely told me I was S.O.L. I called my office and in 15 minutes, we had someone who would take me and the truck back home. I can't imagine this service to be reliable in any manner where we might need it. 4 months ago, when my girlfriend and I were stuck at a campsite about 350 miles away and needed a 30 mile tow to an auto parts shop, we waited 4 hours and the same thing happened. When, exactly does AAA step up to the plate and come through for people who are actually in need of service?

Negative experience: I called AAA when my battery failed in a grocery store parking lot. A message on their phone said it would be 40 minutes before anyone could answer my call. I called a battery store and had a battery delivered before they ever answered the phone. Horrible service.

Fantastic experience: Had an unbelievable customer experience with Jessica at the front desk. I came in during the lunch hour and she was manning the phones and the reception area. Gave me her undivided attention as she processed multiple transactions, all the while engaging me in conversation. She is an amazing asset to that office.

Negative experience: I was here at 4:30p to pay my membership. The lady at the front desk told me they couldn't take money orders but they can take cash. I went to get the my money order cashed. I returned to pay for my membership with cash. The guy at the front door told me they can't take money orders or cash because of not having a cashier. I wish this branch would make my their minds on payment options.

Negative experience: Horrible service from the unprofessional liars that claim they don't replace batteries during ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. Really? I used to work for AAA so I know that's a lie and they told someone this during an emergency? That should put them in jail. Will be contacting an attorney.

Negative experience: Terrible. Called 4/8/21 to get a quote on a homeowners insurance policy for a new rental property because I already have AAA for my primary home in another state. I was told I would get a call and email with quote in 10-15 minutes. I called back over 3 hours later and the same agent answered and said something came up but he had all my information and I would hear back in 10 minutes, which I did not. I called back 4/9/21 around 10 AM as I had not heard back and a different agent answered, he told me he would connect with the previous agent and one of them would call me before/around lunch time. It is currently 9 PM and I have not received any communication. Not only will I no longer be pursuing insurance for my rental property with AAA but I have now switched insurance companies for my primary home as well. Would never recommend

Positive experience: Very difficult or should I say impossible to get a hold of somebody by telephone, although the voicemail said that all calls would be answered it flipped me to a voicemail box so I left a message two times within a week and nobody got back to me so I decided to take a chance and drive there but once I was there the receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Kortney Truitt is the very Best when it comes to getting a policy for car insurance through AAA Insurance quickly. I had a fly by night company called Freeway Insurance but they had an underwriter called Gainsco that nobody had ever heard of. I switched insurance because the customer service was the worst. Some guy called me about a week ago telling me,That my car was in a car accident.” I knew he didn’t know What The Hell he was speaking on because my car was outside parked and hadn’t been driving for over a week. He asked me to, Go outside, send him a photo of my car, and forward them to another number that he left me to text him on. I instantly blocked him, and contacted AAA insurance where I was greeted by Kortney Truitt. She was warm, good humored, very patient, and is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to offering car insurance. I have nothing but great things to say about our times conversing over the phone and discussing which policy would be the better choice for me. I had a AAA policy years ago, and there customer service skills were similar to Kortney’s. She’s very responsive to messages, and emails. I will definitely recommend her and AAA to my friends and family.

Negative experience: They did not call me back. This is six months later, and tried again. I left three messages to be called back. Over a week and still have not received a call.

Negative experience: Very Ghetto & unprofessional. They make you sign in with the receptionist & tell you to wait in the waiting area for an agent , only to forget that you’re in the the waiting area. One time the agent closed out the cash draw and was unable to give me my change. I had to wait a days before I received my Change, due to being closed on the weekend.

Positive experience: It was just okay because when I tried to go back and get some car insurance they tried to tell me an outrageous price and I do not even have any bad driving record. In the last past 10 years I have had no accidents.

Negative experience: Is my membership free or do I pay for it? I only ask because I’ve gone in twice in the past month and each time the people at the front desk were rude and short talking to me. Why have an office if you want everyone to look online why not hire a robot instead. At least a robot wouldn’t have an attitude problem, if this continues I’m contacting someone at corporate headquarters. This behavior is uncalled and totally unwarranted.

Positive experience: Had an appointment, but had to wait an hour to see a travel agent, but it was worth it. They gave me water, checked on me and had a nice waiting area. Got a lot of info, free maps and books about European travel. Edit: They lost a star because a lady there talked with me about trip insurance and sold me on the fact that EVERYTHING that might happen on a trip would be covered. I did have a necklace break in security and it wasn't covered until I filed with Homeland Security first. I felt she misrepresented the coverage. Beware of the up-sale at this office. Since it was my first trip in Europe, I bought everything they sold me on. I'll be smarter next trip. They get 3 stars for the free maps and travel books.

Negative experience: My family planned a cruise and Debra was over the planning. She doesn't know what she's doing. We were taking my son as a gift for his graduation. My room was cancelled. I already paid close to a thousand dollars then when I called to make a payment she acted as if everything was ok, only to call back and tell me my room was cancelled and she had nothing to do with it. I am a single mother of three... I don't have a thousand just to blow. She seems like she doesn't have a clue. I am very disappointed with her service.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service. Went to buy gift cards, great selection ie; Amazon, Kohl's, Starbucks, movie theaters etc. When you purchase gift cards at AAA you earn a percentage off your purchases that can be used towards discounting your yearly dues.

Negative experience: Tried to contact AAA for a trip. First i called then emailed. i wasn't satisfied with the car quote so i emailed. they took 2 weeks to email back. I talked to Debra B. in Savannah and she was not helpful at all. I also tried to get attraction tickets but they think that is a wast of time if they are not booking airline or car. not helpful. why am i paying....
