Fantastic experience: My most recent experience with Crown Cruise Vacations was to book a trip through Roger P at the Iberostar Grand Paraiso in Mexico-Riviera Maya. We had a beachfront suite. WOW!!! This place is amazing and even more beautiful than the photos on their website. The staff, cleanliness, food and property was beyond our expectations! We will definitely be a returning customer. Roger P booked this trip for us and has also booked a few cruises for us as well. He is amazing! Crown Cruise Vacations are very professional vacation planning company. Positive experience: I wrote a review and gave Crown Cruises a 1 star as I feel that is what they did for us. I also sent an email to the owner Ross, he got back with me in a timely manner so I am changing my star to a higher status but still not as high as they could of got. I should have not had to go to the owner for help. I truly hope others doesn't have to experience what we did, this whole process should of went ALOT smoother. Fingers crossed, things have been resolved & we have a beautiful 40th wedding anniversary cruise! Good luck to all that use Crown Cruises, we truly hope your experience goes smoother.

Negative experience: This is the worst travel agency I've dealt with and we cruise/ travel alot, DO NOT USE THEM. They tell you one thing and do another. We are going on a family vacation for our 40th wedding anniversary July 29th and I'm concerned that nothing we wanted or they promised will be right. They haven't done a whole lot right so far. Jay Weingard is terrible at people skills and his attitude really stinks. Sam doesn't call you back, they ignore whatevers wrong.

Negative experience: No response to the emails and calls are not returned. Tried reaching multiple times and no response

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Crown Cruise Vacations booking with Ross! This was a family vacation where we were celebrating birthdays and college graduation. This was my first time booking a cruise myself and being the primary on the reservation. Ross was very knowledgeable and offered great advice when it came to planning the vacation. The team was easy to communicate with for payments and any questions I had. I will book with Ross again for any future cruises!

Negative experience: I do not recommend Crown Cruise Vacations to anyone. We have had a lot of problems with them. Their credit card intake is not secure and they just write down the information and then give it to the cruise company without any regard to privacy or security. It seems to me that since they do a lot of business they feel that they do not need to go out of their way for their customers. There is usually always a long wait when trying to reach them or just trying to get something done that could be very simple like change dining times or ordering an excursion. They give excuse after excuse without taking responsibility or owning the problem.

Fantastic experience: Have used them for years, recently had trouble with a refund resulting in a disagreement. Turns out I was wrong, humble apologies and thank you for clarifying.

Negative experience: I agree with the previous reviewer regarding Jay W. Don't walk, run from him... Horrible communication skills, emails are not returned in a timely fashion, the stories change on the fly, every time you ask him for help, excuses start flying... If you start pressing, he gets angry and rude. He is apparently too busy to reply since he has "so many clients" that there is no time to respond. Please do yourself a favor, save your time, and don't ever deal with Jay W. or his assistant Sam

Negative experience: Crown Cruise Vacations and Sharon Parchment promised us $500 in Onboard Credit for our Celebrity Cruise on the Summit from Iceland. Not only did we not receive the proper Onboard Credit but Crown Cruise Vacations failed to respond to our numerous attempts to contact them. Crown Cruise Vacations and Sharon Parchment did not deliver as promised and should not be trusted with any of your vacation needs.

Positive experience: I use them often to book cruises. Usually great deals. I think they may have less employees now, as it's difficult to get in touch with an agent for booking in the last few months...but usually still has best pricing...

Negative experience: If you draw the short stick of having Jay W. as your travel agent, immediately cancel your reservation. Jay told us the wrong thing, booked the wrong rooms, does not have communication skills and lacks any attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and go with a different travel agency or just book with Costco.

Negative experience: We have been loyal with Crown Cruises for over a decade. When we needed them to fix their own mistake they fell short, costing us our dream cruise. I would recommend booking cruises elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I used CCV to book my first cruise. Roger Poulard has been my agent and provided the best pricing, compared to 3 other travel agencies, and amazing customer service that is 2nd to none. He has been super responsive throughout the process, even after I had booked my cruise. He always answers my e-mails and calls very quickly. He even helped resolve an issue with MSC's loyalty program discount to reduce the cost of my cruise even further, providing daily updates as he worked with MSC, whose customer service leaves a lot to be desired, to get me the discount. I highly recommend Roger @ CCV and could not be happier!

Fantastic experience: Just came back on a cruise booked thru them. Had a problem with the cruise line about the onboard credit. Crown immediately took ownership of the problem and made sure we got the right credit. Nice to know they will stand by you if a problem arises. Definitely a five star travel agency and glad we had them on our side fighting for us.

They give great rates with on board credit that is always better than the cruise line offers. I have now gone on 2 cruises that I booked with them and I have 1 more booked as well.
