Fantastic experience: We were in a jam, as we mistakenly went with another travel agency, and Lindsay Foerster saved our wedding! She was able to volunteer her services as our Wow Specialist, or wedding guru, and handled every detail from food served to music played during every special moment of the wedding and reception. We would’ve showed up to the Dominican without a clue on details for our special life event, but here was Lindsay, owner and rep of Foerster Travel, that made sure our day was fabulous without even being her customer. She has now booked multiple trips for us and made not only lifetime customers but also special friends..Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be happier with the trips Lindsay and her team have planned for us! From Mexico to Europe and our next vacation - Disney in December!! Lindsay went above and beyond, making sure that our vacations were everything that we wanted. From the food to the views and everything in between - Foerster can make it happen.

Negative experience: 1 word: RUN. I'm late writing this review because I was so upset about how our experience with Lindsay was and I didn't know if my feelings would change a few months removed but they haven't. Lindsay is the worst travel agent I have ever worked with. I actually cannot believe how little she cares about her clients. My now husband (then fiance) and I booked our destination wedding trip in November 2024 through her. She was very helpful at first, then the communication started getting worse. I understand it's hard having to book a 30 person destination wedding but come on. We had multiple friends and family members who had reached out to her to book their trip and she ignored their calls. Really? So then WE had to bug her to get her to call them back. It's insanity. I think what really upset me the MOST of all, was that she NEVER reached out to me and my husband before, during, or after the trip to ask us how the trip went. We booked our WEDDING TRIP through her. We got MARRIED. No message the day we were leaving? No "Have fun!" No "hey congratulations and thanks for booking through me!" - NOTHING. I think that should tell you everything about her as a travel agent. Please, to anyone looking for someone to book with - go with someone else or you will regret it deeply like I do.

Fantastic experience: Ashly comes through again! We just returned from a lovely trip to Australia and New Zealand. What a trip it was! 14 days, 6 cities, 2 countries, 10 total flights. What did we do? Well, here's a small sample...Ate a sunrise breakfast at Ayers Rock, visited Australia Zoo, snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef, climbed the Harbour Bridge, rang in the New Year in Sydney Harbour, walked the hills of Hobbiton and Glenorchy, went spelunking in caves and hung out with glowworms, and walked and shopped the streets of Queenstown and Auckland. And that's just a sample. And thanks to Ashly, there was zero confusion, zero frustration, zero missed tours, or boring excursions. It's no wonder we've used Ashly several times in the past few years. She's great and knows us well. One more 'minor' thing. This trip concluded our quest to visit all 7 continents. And Ashly has been with us along the way! Her expertise and client centric approach has made this quest easier. Thank you, Ashly! Fantastic experience: I'm late on my review but Don't ever pay attention to any negative reviews regarding this company! I had the most amazing experience for my destination wedding, everything that could go wrong for me did go wrong (covid pandemic), nothing to do with the this travel agency but because I had lindsay on my side she made sure every curve ball thrown at me was taken care of immediately! I'll never forget I was in Jamaica and stranded due to a holiday that was going on there, I'll spare all the details but I called my travel agent, bc I didn't know who else to call, to see if she could help me bc no one in Jamaica was willing, let me tell you she immediately made calls and got me taken care even when she didn't have to bc it had nothing to do with their agency. Lindsay will go above and beyond for you even when she doesn't have to, you clearly can tell this isn't just a job to her, she literally will pour her heart and soul into your vacation because she cares about the people and your experience. I will never use another travel agency!

Fantastic experience: E’Lisa Gonzales was amazing! She was so helpful in the planning process of a family vacation that included 42 people. The complexity of our large group was so much to coordinate. I thought she must be relieved that we have finally left to start vacation she can be done now. Not even close to reality. Some of the families flights became very complicated with delays, they did work them out but E’Lisa was immediately checking for options without us asking her to, she was just watching flights during the day to be ready to assist if needed. She also developed an amazing report with the resort staff so that during our stay she was able to communicate with the resort and the service provided to us was unparalleled. On the travel day returning home again she is watching flights delays and was so reassuring as we were delayed 2 hours to start the day. I told my family I will never travel without my travel agent again. She was a lifesaver over and over until we were home. Don’t hesitate to call E’Lisa you will have all the help you need to have the most amazing vacation experience possible!

Negative experience: Called them at 9:30 am and I got the luxury of listening to a machine, after that I got to hear an operator not even in their office, who takes down my information and tells me Jared would be contacting me shortly to get me taken care of. Guess what? Still waiting on Jared to call. I missed my flight window because of this horrible travel agency, so if you’re counting on making it somewhere using a good travel agency Foerster Travel IS NOT the one you want to go with. Swipe left, right, or just close your eyes and go onto the next available, you’ll be better off. Worst Travel Agency I’ve ever NOT dealt with.

Fantastic experience: Forester Travel and specifically Loryl Haggard and her team are the best people to work with! We used their services several times and they never disappoint. All we need to do is call and tell them we have an idea and within a few hours they have several options to discuss with us. Once they are given the go ahead everything goes so smoothly. She sent me all sorts of options and locations, and we wound up with a fabulous trip to Hotel Xcaret in Mexico. She was hard to contact and typically did not provide complete answers to our questions. We did not feel confident that everything was going to go smoothly. Everything did go smoothly.

Negative experience: We started out planning and sending deposits with the owner, Lindsay for our destination wedding almost a year in advance. We were passed on to Wendy. Our trip was completely paid for months in advance to be notified about 6 weeks before we were suppose to leave that our flights were never booked even though it was in the original itinerary. When I contacted Wendy and Lindsay because of the frustration I was told that Wendy found us another flight and it was cheaper than the original flights previously planned. Being the bride and groom I hoped there would be a higher priority to have smooth traveling. I was told that they are human and make mistakes.. I completely understand that but it is very frustrating trying to plan a destination wedding and planning for Christmas when you now have to come up with an extra $1000 for flights that you assumed were already picked and paid for. We had 21 family and friends that booked through this agency. Several of them had problems as well. One of our guest had problems when they got to the airport, the airlines couldn’t find their reservation by name or reservation number. When it came to checking into flights (24 hours before) My parents names were incorrectly put into the airline reservation. My aunt had originally provided her middle name as it reads on her passport when filling out reservations and when she tried checking in she was told her middle name wasn’t on the reservation. She reached out to Wendy and was told she’d have to pay an extra $500 to add her middle name to her flight itinerary. Also when trying to book reservation it took awhile to hear back from Wendy. Again I know that they can’t get back to customers if the resort hasn’t answered their questions but after several days it would have been nice to receive an email that the request was received but they were waiting to hear back. Several guest would go a week or two having them feel like they needed to reach out again to ensure it was received the first time. I used this agency because they were close to where I was originally living at the time. I was very disappointed and many of our guest had never used a travel agency before and this was their experience.

Fantastic experience: Jerrod went above and beyond in sending us options for an anniversary getaway given a unique set of requests on what we were looking for. In the end we spent five days at Ladera Resort in St. Lucia. It was beyond perfect.

Negative experience: Horrible communication, meaning my agent never contacted me, I always had to contact her. Nothing was explained to us about their commissions, which is where the problem’s arose from. I sent her a request to book some flights for ten people in our wedding party. Never heard from them for two weeks and I finally emailed Wendy, our agent, to see if there was a problem and she notified me that she was taking our wedding website down and good luck with the wedding. She apparently was not happy that none of the guests have contacted her and the one that did decided to use someone else. The invitations have been sent out for 3 months now with all of Foerster Travel’s information on them, so now all of my guests are having to find their own agents. This wouldn’t be such a big deal, but it is a destination wedding half way around the world and she has left us high and dry. Do not use them if you want your destination wedding handled in any kind of professional manner or if you want it to go smoothly. In response to the owner, Wendy only offered to help after she saw how mad I was after she told me good luck and she would be taking our wedding website down. For the hours and hours spent on this, that was not the case. I was told that if we were going to use our airline points then we would have to book those flights ourselves , so that is what I did. She is just trying to turn this all on me. Again so professional!

Lindsay got us started with the choosing of our wedding location & getting that situated, then Wendy stepped in and helped us with booking our rooms & getting our honeymoon booked. Negative experience: Very disappointed with this agency and their agent Wendy. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but after 4 of my family members, including myself went up to her office to discuss our options on our trip to Hawaii in 5 months, She said she would look into it and get back with us. We patiently waited for over two weeks for Wendy to get back with us on options and information on our trip. I finally called to see where she was in gathering information and details for our trip and she didn’t even remember who I was or where we had planned on going!

Negative experience: I called Foerster to inquire about a trip Montana/Wyoming area. I asked if they would put together a package that would include hotel, air and car. I was told that it's not what they normally do but had an agent that was very familiar with U.S. travel. Never got back to me so I called them and said they were sorry. Agent did email at a later date and told me they could fill my need for 4 nights and 3 days for $6,200. No details forthcoming. Maybe it was just me. I've never used a travel agency before. Perhaps I expected too much.

Negative experience: What an absolute joke of an agent , show up for my friends bachelor party but hotel had no record of our reservation , shuttle was all out of sync for getting to airport but travel agent said "everything is out of my control" ( flight shuttle hotel etc) out of your control? I thought travel agents deal with traveling for a living guess that is too much to ask for either way stay away from this travel agency you'll be better off for it .

I wasn’t much of a traveler until I met these two wonderful ladies and now with them taking care of all of the details and getting my trips planned I love to travel! Negative experience: Terrible service. Very unprofessional and rude. Our flights were cancelled on our package trip booked by this travel agency. I’ve waited for a travel credit since October 2021. Five months later I still haven’t received it! Fingers are pointed at everyone else but themselves!!Awful!!!

Fantastic experience: Back in 2019, my husband and I asked Ashly to help us plan a trip to Banff, Canada for the Summer of 2020. As we all know, travel plans were completely derailed in 2020 and none of us knew what to expect. Ashly worked with us every step of the way as we decided to rebook the trip for Summer 2021. As Summer 2021 approached, travel capability was still unknown for some countries and Cody and I needed help on what to do with our trip funds. Ashly helped us transfer everything from Canada to a wonderful week long trip to Cancun, Mexico. She helped us with our flights and hotels, and we just got back from a wonderful week of R&R from Secrets Maroma. Our flights went smoothly, our transportation was always on time and our resort was wonderful! We would not have had as good of a trip if Ashly hadn't helped us over the past two years!! Fantastic experience: We used Ashly Moncrief as our agent for our honeymoon trip! We went to Sandals South Coast in Jamaica and it was all we could ask for and more! We had an amazing time ❤️ The resort was gorgeous and the Rondovol suites were an absolute HIT!! It was private with a separate pool for us and then the lazy river pool was amazing to go and meet everyone else in the “smurf village” (as we named it because the buildings were blue ) The butlers were top notch and had us a place by the beach or whatever pool we wanted. They also made reservations for the spa and dinner every night. We were very pleased! So thank you again because you were a huge part in making our honeymoon the best it could possibly be! I would definitely recommend Ashly to anyone else for sure! She was very responsive and helped us navigate all of the new COVID changes and everything as well. Fantastic experience: We didn't think we would be able to take a summer vacation this year until I saw Briana's post about a special at an all-inclusive, adults-only resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico -- UNICO 20 87, so we jumped at the opportunity and I'm so glad we did! We had a wonderful week at the most beautiful resort! I will definitely be recommending Bri to all of our friends and family wanting to make travel plans, as well as to use her for all of our future travels! She was very patient and responsive to all of our questions, booked our airport transfers, made dinner reservations at the resort, helped with online Customs paperwork, assisted with tours, and checked in on us during and after our trip. Fantastic experience: My husband and I booked our vacation through Foerster with Tobie Mock and got an AMAZING deal for a week long vacation to Mexico. I think what made our booking experience with Foerster so great, was our agent Tobie. She was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive and helped us plan our dream vacation for a great deal! Fantastic experience: Wow! Let me start by saying TOBIE MOCK is the best travel agent I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, not to mention the sweetest soul on earth! We planned our original honeymoon through her back in March, wedding and honeymoon was to be in may. Of course with coronavirus everything was canceled and moved. Gracious Tobie sat on the phone for close to two days trying to get all of our trip moved and squared away and she succeeded and even saved us money! She is an absolute god-send and was so knowledgeable about everything. When we initially booked our honeymoon, we had no idea where to go or what resorts to go to. We gave her our general area, the things we didn’t want/didn’t like, our budget, and airlines we preferred and she found us several different locations with several different venues along with several room options.
