Lake Shore Cabins On Beaver Lake

Fantastic experience: We've been staying at lake shore cabins for about 10 years now at least once every year and we always stay at the homestead house and we love everything about it, if we build our own place it would replicate homestead it gets harder to leave that place everytime we go it feels like home and lake shore cabins entire place and staff are the best in my opinion, homestead house during off peak season is the best deal around and the area doesn't get much prettier the northeast side of beaver is quite and gorgeous

Positive experience: I have a hard time rating them less than 5 stars because we enjoyed our stay so much. We stayed in one of the lakeside cabins and we literally had the entire area to ourselves. We spent every evening on the dock just watching the sunset listening to the waves and enjoying a few drinks. We never saw another person. It was so peaceful and quiet it was almost unreal. The dock was very nice but the access is via 43 steps down the side of a pretty steep incline. Not a problem but something to be aware of. Also the driveway down to the lake is fairly narrow and steep. It would be a pretty tight squeeze if you met anyone going the other way. So the only knock I have is the cabin we were in was pretty dated. It was clean and we had everything we needed but it had a strange odor. The carpet was obviously very old and I suspect it has absorbed too much to get it cleaned completely. Despite multiple febreeze treatments I just couldn’t get past that smell. I suggest they replace the carpet with a laminate floor or LVP. We will stay again but will probably try one of the upper cabins which have an amazing view of the lake.

Fantastic experience: The cabins were wonderful. Staff was very helpful and seemed to enjoy our shenanigans. As we were checking out, there was a woman complaining to the staff that we assumed was another visitor. She was not. She was a passerby who felt that someone was smoking too close to the building and violating a local law. The cashier was great at handling the entitled woman's behavior, even as the woman escalated and began to demand information irrately. The employee was calm, as accommodating as deserved, and assertive in handling it.

Fantastic experience: I grew up coming to Lake Shore and stayed here one week each summer with my family starting over 15 years ago. We started coming when it was just the lake-front cabins, and it’s grown to be the most gorgeous property of cabins on the lake. The cabins are always clean, the dock is always great, and the staff is always friendly. It’s been a few summers since we’ve been able to make it back, but gosh I just love this place! 10/10 recommend for families who need a week away from it all. The Yuskis’ miss you, Lake Shore!

Fantastic experience: By far my favorite place to stay on Beaver Lake. I always take my boat and dock it right on the on site private boat slip. Quiet and private location in a beautiful cove. Literally just 1 cove down from a marina and boat ramp. Rooms are always clean and the main office has a great little store with just about anything you may need during your stay. Can't wait to stay here again!

Fantastic experience: Our family has been staying here since 2021 and love it. The staff and cabins are amazing. The dock is super nice and plenty big for everyone to enjoy jumping off the swimming platform. Our 22’ wake boat fits perfectly in their slips. We highly recommend this resort!

Positive experience: Just as it looks on the website although a little dated. Bed was very comfortable. Why only 4 stars? …We like to cook where we stay but there wasn’t a sharp knife in the place, pots & pans were “well used” and dishwasher was poor. …But the view was GREAT !

Fantastic experience: Stayed 3 nights at the Lake House Mountain Top 1 story cabin and had a great time. Beautiful views from the deck, BBQ grill, plenty of kitchen instruments for us to took most of our meals at the cabin, and more. A few things were showing their age (broken tupperware, carpet), but we had a great time and would go back. Pros: * Views! Beautiful relaxing environment. * DVD/Blu-Ray lending library at office for kids movie nights. * Proximity to dock and ease of having rental canoes ready. Cons (all of which were expected, hence still 5 stars): * Shoddy wifi. * Older carpeting. * Spiders/bugs on the porch and such (its a cabin!) * Hike down to the dock is pretty steep and not very improved at places.

Fantastic experience: It was excellent. Our cabin was nice, the front office has a tiny grocery store, the dock was great (we took our boat). Only complaint was the wifi didn't work at all. You could connect to it, but it wouldn't actually let you do anything. Nice views! Easy to get to, convenient to town.

Positive experience: I am a repeat customer, been staying at cabin 8 for family vacation 11 years. This was our first year to be disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the cabin. It severely needs new carpet and furniture. I wouldn't sit on sofa or loveseat upstairs it was so brokedown and dirty. Before we book next year I will be asking if they have updated it.

Fantastic experience: We had a WONDERFUL stay and will definitely return! We wanted a cozy, relaxing place to stay that was not too far from Eureka Springs! We were just about 10 minutes from a great restaurant and 15-20 minutes from Downtown Eureka! The staff is wonderful, the cabin is perfect, and we 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Homestead House for our honeymoon and it was the nicest cabin we've ever stayed in. All of the cabins on the lake have a view of Beaver Lake that is unmatched. Their attention to detail in the decor is fantastic. It says this is a 3 star hotel on Google, and I can't speak for the other cabins, but the Homestead House is 5 star. Stevie in the grocery gift shop was super nice and helpful. It's got everything you need to survive and enjoy your time there. It's only a 25 minute drive from Eureka Springs which has great restaurants and markets downtown. We can't wait to go back!

Positive experience: The view was great and our house wasn't close enough to walk to the lake but it was only a two minute drive. The staff were very nice. The house had cable and internet (though they were both satalite we didnt use them enough to warrant a complaint).

Fantastic experience: I planned this mini family vacation a few months back and we stayed in the Treetop Penthouse. I was looking for a place that was comfortable for 7 people (our 5 plus my parents). We were not disappointed when we arrived. Donna and the rest of the staff made things so easy for us. I was texted with all of the info I needed since we were arriving later than their hours of operation. I was expecting the cabin to be nice, but this was BEAUTIFUL, from the rustic decor to the amazing views, we enjoyed God's beautiful creation at every turn. The grounds are well kept and the scenery will leave you in awe. Beautiful property with great hosts and service. We enjoyed every second. I loved waking up in the morning and doing my devotionals in the swing chairs outside of our bedroom. This was our first time at Lakeshores but definitely won't be our last!

Fantastic experience: From the moment you book your reservation, until the minute you check out, Donna and the Lakeshore crew provide exemplary service and attention to details. The on-site boat dock provides an additional benefit to boat owners while also providing a huge swim dock and amazing views for all Lakeshore guests. The nightly visits from the local deer and other wildlife are always an attraction! We cannot thank Donna and her crew enough for ensuring that our stay was relaxing, peaceful, and fun! Positive experience: The place was nice and the grounds of the facility were kept clean. We stayed in cabin 5 which had a great view of the lake. Jacuzzi tub was not as clean as we expected and ended up not using it. We kept place closed up but the amount of flies was annoying. The ac unit had things in the grille were air comes out and wasn't sure what it was. I was expecting more for the money spent. Overall had good time.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I recently spent a weekend at Lake Shore Cabins and we were so impressed with everything. The cabin was so clean, jazz music playing when we arrived to our cabin and the hospitality of the owners was great. The view was outstanding. The grounds are well maintained and the community firepit was very relaxing after kayaking. I forgot my makeup remover and to my surprise, they even had makeup remover wipes stocked in the bathroom! The little details were very pleasing. We have already told all of our friends and family about this wonderful resort. We will definitely be back! Fantastic experience: The cabin was very clean, well stocked, appealing to the eye and the view is breathtaking. Plenty of privacy. The cabins are great for a couple enjoying some time alone or would also be an excellent accommodation for a family trip as well. The cabins have a second story available. The Lake Shore Cabins will definitely be our “go to” anytime we take a trip to Eureka Springs alone or with our family.

Fantastic experience: Gorgeous views with a cozy vibe paired with the great virtual hospitality made this an ideal getaway spot. The hostess texted me all relevant details and the key was on the table when we arrived. The walk down to the floating patio dock was understandably steep but a nice little workout. We could have driven down. We think we will bring the kids next time and rent the downstairs as well, which adds 2/1 and a living room.

We made our meals and enjoyed eating on the lovely deck. The view was the best. The early morning mists on the lake were awesome and loved watching the deer and geese grazing by our cabin. It was quiet and private and the owners and Judy were so nice. We will be back!!

Fantastic experience: We stayed in the Homestead house ... bar none the best cabin we've ever visited. Everything you need is already there ... beautiful decor and furniture. The layout was perfect. Our friends, my wife and I agree that if we ever have a place built we will bring the builder to the Homestead House and say, "Just copy everything about this place!" The manager was extremely helpful and just a very pleasant person. We look forward to returning again next year!

Fantastic experience: We could not have been more pleased with our stay! The cabin itself is very roomy and comfortable. Our first impression was amazed at how clean it was. We rented a 2 story cabin which was perfect for our group of 5. The kids had a great area in the basement for their own personal space. The location was ideal with the most breathtaking view of the lake. We spent a lot of time on the huge deck watching the deer graze in front of us and of course viewing the gorgeous lake. The dock was a lot of fun and provided nice chairs and umbrellas. The staff was also super accommodating. They loaned us a few water toys and an air compressor for airing up our inter tubes. We have never done this but as we checked out, we booked the same cabin for next year.

Fantastic experience: Simply gorgeous; relaxing rustic wood cabins with breathtaking view of Beaver lake in the Ozark Mountains. Cabins has full size bed with pull out sleeping sofa for the kids and lower section with 2 beds for bigger parties, has 40” inch tv, fireplace with fire logs only, fully function kitchen with cooking ware, 2 person jacuzzi tub, beautiful balcony with table and chairs, front area patio with outdoor charcoal grill with seating. Owners are super friendly, they clearly value their guests, makes you feel welcome immediately and at home, they make sure you have what you need. The main office area has mini store with snacks, laundry soap, and other misc items to purchase, shirts, home decor and souvenirs. Highly recommend coming here for a few relaxing nights.
