Fantastic experience: This was our first trip arranged by WAC and it won't be our last. Hilary and her team created a fantastic vacation to Paris and Barcelona for my family. She took the time to understand our preferences and translated that into a super itinerary with the right balance of scheduled activities and free time. Guides were top notch, hotels were excellent and in great locations, and everything went smoothly.

Fantastic experience: As I was planning my wedding, my DJ recommended Hilary from WAC travel to plan our my honeymoon in Italy as he just returned from his the year before. Let me tell you, it was the best part of my wedding experience. The honeymoon itinerary Hilary put together for us was beyond imaginable. When we first spoke I told her all the things I was looking to see, do, my interests, etc. and she went to work. Not only was the planning flawless but all the hotels, tour guides, and private transfers were top notch. During our trip we had to have a couple things moved around due to weather and Hilary and her team were on top of it. There was even a train strike and they got us new tickets and notified our drivers of any changes even before we knew that it was happening! The entire itinerary, contacts, tickets, and even weather were all uploaded in real time on a private app you use during the trip so you can easily pull up documentation, helpful tips, and contacts with extreme ease. Even all the contacts WAC travel worked with across seas in Italy were so attentive and helpful, it was a perfectly orchestrated line of communicatio we were blown away. We truly loved and will always cherish this trip and memories made, so much so we are already talking about our next trip and we would have no one else other than Hilary and her team make it happen!

Fantastic experience: WAC Travel planned a fantastic vacation for us! We had never been to Europe before and wanted to go to Italy. They suggested we start with all the tourist locations, which we did. We started in Venice and went to Bologna, Florence, and Rome. They scheduled us for tours and activities in each location based on our requests and time of day. This included transfers from the plane and/or train to our luxury hotels. Everything was perfect! We quickly got spoiled by the personalized services we received. We never had to worry about a thing as WAC Travel expertly handled all of this for us. We simply had to enjoy all that these Italian cities had to offer. It was an experience we will never forget and quite possibly our best vacation ever. Fantastic experience: We just came back from an AMAZING dream trip to Italy. Hilary and her team from WAC Travel did such an incredible job. I know that my family would never have gotten the amazing experience that we did if we planned the trip on our own. We went from Rome, to Florence, Tuscany, Bologna and then Milan. The private tours, the food tastings, the dinners and the sites of the cities were incredible. Every hotel was amazing, every driver was on time, they left no detail unchecked. Fantastic experience: Unfortunate that only 5 stars is the limit here! We just returned from our 2nd WAC Travel trip to Italy - the first since COVID - and it was EVERYTHING we could have asked for and more. Hilary and her team leave no stone unturned to not only help you understand the pros and cons (if any) of any destination, but they meticulously map out your vacation in great detail and offer unforgettable options for each destination. The Vamoos app also was a welcome addition on this 2-week trip to Rome, Tuscany, Sorrento, Positano and Taormina. We also can't say enough about all of our transfer drivers arranged by WAC. They always early or on-time, are courteous and very helpful. The golf cart food tour in Rome is an absolute must, as is the lunch and wine tasting at the Tenuta Casanova Farm in Tuscany. This was not a DIY vacation for us, and we would have trusted no one else but WAC Travel help us see it through. Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: WAC Travel planned the perfect Italy trip for my family. My wife and I traveled with our two kids (a 3 year old and a 7 month old) and it couldn’t have been more seamless! Fantastic experience: My friend and I went to Greece in May 2024 using WAC Travel. It was a fantastic trip! We talked with Hilary and told her the vibe of how we travel and what we are interested in and her team planned the perfect vacation. We had the ideal balance of activities and sightseeing with relaxation and free time. The hotels were awesome, the restaurant recommendations were great, and the booked activities were so fun and unique! Hilary has helped us book two trips in the last few years, a honeymoon through Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Positano and Monopoli and just recently a trip to Sicily. All of our stops were coordinated with drivers who knew the areas extremely well and helped us to understand the history of each place we had visited. Our amazing guides led us on private tours/semi private tours which were personalized to the places we wished to travel. Fantastic experience: Just returned from an 18-day trip through Tuscany coordinated with WAC Travel. They were great to work with as we had several small towns and tours we wished to include. Hilary and her entire team were wonderful and responsive to questions we had before and even during the trip. All the hotels (6 different locations) were top-notch, and where staff was wonderful, professional, and helpful with local directions, sites, etc. WAC Travel arranged all the hotels, tours, and drivers (always on time) for our trip. Fantastic experience: We had an outstanding time in Paris and the various Italian destinations. The program you laid out and the spreadsheet was brilliant, and I was constantly referencing it. I found myself really absorbing the detail of the booklet the night before each day in question as well. I’ll split our feedback into a number of categories. Travel (planes, trains and drivers) were all without fault. The airlines were all the economical ones, but they worked out just fine. The train stations were very busy and a little intimidating but once we got the hang of it, all was straightforward. The drivers were all top of their game. Hotels were great and the locations very satisfactory. The rooms were clean and tidy, but a little small, though we understand the trade off with good location and size. Lake Como hotel was best of all. The various locations visited offered very different things. Paris, Florence and Rome were all about the history while Sestri Levante (Cinque Terre) and Lake Como were about the views. Lake Como was our favorite. The various tours organized were the highlights for us. The food tours in Paris and Rome were superb, as was the cycle tour in Tuscany. Having these pre-planned just made our limited time in each location work out perfectly. We seemed to fit so much in. In general, we found the restaurants just ok, despite enjoying the food tours. I know you offered some recommendations, but maybe it’s the Irish in us, but we found it very hard to get really excited about the food in general. However, the plus was it being far more economical than here in the US. We would be happy to recommend your services. You made a complex set of schedules fall seamlessly into place and there was never a hitch. Though we are tired (after 2 weeks in Ireland as well) it was the most exciting vacation of our lives, so thank you for that.

Fantastic experience: We just came back from our second trip that Hilary and staff arranged for us. First trip was Greece( group of 10) which was ridiculously over the top. Not one hitch and guides, hotels, transfer and recommendations were spot on. We just got back from our second trip Portugal/ Sevilla and Madrid. Once again everything was spot on. Hotels were 5 stars, their private guides and tours were beyond great. We arrived as strangers and left as family. We were a group of 10 on this trip as well

Fantastic experience: Hilary and her team recently planned a 10 day trip for our family of 4 to Italy (Florence, Tuscany, Rome) during April. The entire process - from the initial phone call, to planning, to the trip itself - went incredibly seamlessly. We had an amazing trip, with a good balance of sightseeing and down time to rest and explore. WAC put us in wonderful hotels and arranged some private tour guides (highly recommended) as well as recommended some memorable restaurants in every place that we visited. It was wonderful to have transfers between airports and hotels arranged as well! WAC has fantastic customer service - they are highly knowledgable, extremely organized, very responsive, and really listened to our questions and requests. Fantastic experience: We recently completed a 17-day trip to Portugal and Spain organized by WAC Travel and it was an amazing experience. The trip included visits to Lisbon, Algarve, Seville, Cordoba, Madrid, Toledo, Barcelona, Montserrate and the Costa Brava. The private tours each day and transportation all with English speaking guides made the trip even more enjoyable. The hotels were exceptional and were located in the old town area and were walking distance to restaurants, sights and shopping. Daily activities included walking tours, historical sites, museums, hiking, Tapas tastings and wineries. The entire tour was expertly put together and executed flawlessly. Representatives of WAC travel stayed in touch along the way ensuring all was going well. We had so much fun on this trip! The staff at WAC Travel were amazing and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the entire trip. They were always available to answer any questions we had and made sure that we were comfortable at all times. We loved exploring all of the different cities and learning about their history and culture. The private tours were definitely a highlight of the trip as we got to see some amazing sights that we wouldn't have been able to see otherwise. Fantastic experience: WAC planned the most amazing trip to Greece for our group of four (covering three generations). We couldn't have planned an off-season vacation like this on our own. Fantastic experience: I can not recommend Hilary and her team enough. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary in Paris and Italy. Of course, three additional couples decided to join us. You can imagine the endless questions and conference calls. Fortunately, the WAC team did not disappoint. Fantastic experience: All I can say is wow! The WAC Travel Team is awesome at what they do. Everything was planned down to the second. Everything they set up was truly perfect. We didnt wait for anything (drivers, transfers, etc), the hotels were perfect and our kids loved the trip. They interviewed us, sent a detailed PDF proposal and everyone in my family signed off and most importantly, it was perfect! We asked during the trip about finding a place with a pool, and bam, it was taken care of! My daughter is severely allergic to peanuts and they made sure all the drivers and trip leaders knew. When we arrived everyone was prepared, we didnt have to remind them, they reminded us! If you want someone to suggest, plan and execute, this is the best company for Travel.

Fantastic experience: Hilary and her team did a wonderful job planning our trip to Italy. We rented a car and stayed in 6 different areas over the course of 15 days. The hotels and villas where we stayed were wonderful and we enjoyed the variety of accomodations, from a Swiss style hotel in the Dolomites to a villa in the Tuscany countryside. Having someone manage the details such as water taxis and rides to and from the airport was something that we greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed the tours and day trips that Hiliary arranged for us. She obviously has first hand knowledge of the best places to visit in Italy. We look forward to having WAC Travel plan another European vacation for us.

Negative experience: Extremely upset with this agency. I don’t think I would be so upset if I was well informed. We starting planning a UK trip for our honeymoon early so we can be well prepared and get to do the things we wanted. We were supposed to get our itinerary within a month, never heard and had to reach out. We were told the itinerary would be sent in a week. A MONTH later I REACHED OUT and was told they cannot accommodate and plan this trip, stating it was not in their wheelhouse- and yet you’re advertising for it in your website ? Only thing that isn’t giving me a 0 star rating is the fact they at least gave us another agency to follow up with. However. Extremely upset that so much time was wasted and we were kept hanging on for so long.

Fantastic experience: HILLARY and her team are FABULOUS!! Their knowledge, expertise, and attention to detail are amazing!! We have now gone on 2 trips thru WAC Travel and could not be more pleased. Everything was exceptional. Our trips throughout Greece and Italy were a dream come true. The girls are professional and take care of everything, from hotels, excursions, transfers, and reservations. We had an absolutely magical anniversary trip! The first time was about 7 years ago when I took 2 grandsons to Italy and France. She listened to our desires and then was able to accommodate my family from ages 10-21. Fantastic experience: WAC Travel planned my husband and I’s dream vacation to Italy. This was our first time to Europe. It was such a relief to know everything was taken care of for us from trains, drivers, activities and more. Hilary was extremely helpful and answered all of our many questions. We let her know what we were interested in doing in Italy from tours and experiences, and she did not disappoint with everything that was booked. We explored Venice, Florence, Chianti, Amalfi Coast, Positano and Rome . The experiences that were booked could not have been more perfect from a cooking class, Vespa night tour, 10-course food & wine dinner, Amalfi Coast boat day and food tour. All of our hotels were in central locations and each provided a unique experience. WAC provided so many resources to use during our trip- the day by day itinerary was fantastic and there is even an app (that doesn’t use cell phone data) that keeps you on track each day. On days where we didn’t have something scheduled, the itinerary provided recommendations of things to do nearby our hotel. We had the most amazing guides on all of our tours- all English speaking, extremely knowledgeable and personable. We can’t wait to book another Europe trip and wouldn’t think twice about using anyone but WAC Travel.

We gave her some details of the type of experience we were looking for, and she planned the most perfect trip we could have imagined. We didn't have any logistical problems with any reservations or tickets (car rental, train tickets, drivers, etc.). Fantastic experience: This was the third trip that I took to Italy and the third time Hilary prepared our itinerary. Hilary is so professional and thorough. I traveled with my parents this time, and needed some special accommodations for my mother who uses a cane and a wheelchair. The drivers, tour guides, and hotel arrangements that Hilary set up for us were perfect for our situation. Every driver was exceeding helpful with loading my mother’s wheelchair and our luggage into the vehicles and with helping her get into and out of the cars. They were well informed about our itinerary and often acted as tour guides during our transfers from city to city. The actual tour guides that Hilary found for us were all so smart and personable. They tailored the tours to fit the needs of my mother and the interests of our group. Their knowledge of their particular area and the creative stories that they use to tell about the history of Italy helps make trips through museums and cities so much more memorable. All of the hotel accommodations that Hilary arranged for us were wonderfully located and provided impeccable service. I can’t wait to work with WAC again for my next trip to Italy!!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just returned from the Puglia region of Italy and southern Croatia and we had the most wonderful time. Hilary and her staff had arranged our accommodations, travel and local guides and even porters. Everyone was on time or early. The local guides spoke good to perfect English, were engaging and welcoming. They brought us to sites not visited by the masses and knew how to avoid the crowds when visiting popular sites. Although we had an idea of places we wanted to see, Hilary put together an itinerary that perfectly fit our interests. We are well traveled, but this was one of our favorite trips yet!

Fantastic experience: Hilary planned us an absolutely amazing honeymoon that went flawlessly! Everything was seamlessly organized so we barely needed to do anything on our trip other than follow the itinerary & show up :) Our trip took us to Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini, and Amalfi and all of the transfers and hotels were booked with absolutely no hiccups. The suggested excursions were so much fun (the Catamaran tour in Santorini can't be topped!) and the restaurant reservations were also fantastic! I'd use WAC Travel for another vacation for sure.

Fantastic experience: We approached Hilary of WAC travel upon recommendation from my cousin. She had just returned from her honeymoon to Greece and Italy. They had an incredible experience. We asked the team to help us plan a lengthy honeymoon in Italy, encompassing stays and excursions from Tuscany all the way to Sicily. We saw both mainstream/tourist attraction spots and off-the-beaten-path jewels. Although we predominantly worked with Hilary, we had contact with a few others from WAC – Sharon, Grace, and Kristin. Every single member of the WAC team was kind, helpful, and so knowledgeable. While the process of planning an extensive vacation can be daunting, it was an absolute breeze with these ladies. WAC was somehow able to work within a reasonable budget for a 3 week stay and managed to include every excursion/tour that we wanted. Hilary made fantastic suggestions that transformed our vacation into the most authentic and memorable experience. In Italy, everything was organized and FLAWLESS from private transfers to train trips to flights to tours. Fantastic experience: I have booked 2 trips through WAC travel, one to Italy and the other to London and Paris, both were spectacular. Every single detail is paid attention to. The Italy trip I took with my family so our budget was a bit higher and the other trip I took with my best friend which we paid for ourselves so our budget was a bit lower but Hilary hit it out of the park both trips.

Fantastic experience: We booked our 30th anniversary trip to Italy through Ashley. It was absolutely perfect! She tailored the trip to our requests but also gave us suggestions for visiting places she knew we would like. We ended up doing most of them! She recommended a villa in the Chianti region that was charming and full of history. We easily accessed medieval villages as well as wineries and olive groves by car. Driving was as easy as she told us it would be. We even had a private 5 course cooking lesson right at the villa! Serena was fabulous. The hotel in Florence had a rooftop bar with the most magnificent sunsets and the tours we took were informative and interesting. One guide, Emilia, has renewed our love of art and architecture. In Rome we started with a food tour that took us off the beaten path and out of the crowds...amazing food. We toured the Colliseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with a guide who had a degree in architecture and did the rest on our own. There was so much more but it would make a book. She was able to work with all four of us to refine that initial itinerary, even when we changed our minds along the way. And her itinerary was spectacular! She did a great job of balancing between scheduled and unscheduled time, private tours and exploring on our own, and big city versus laid back country experiences. She found accommodations that were outstanding in every way, including proprietors that were so very helpful once we got on site. The booklet she provided contained all the information we needed to meet scheduled transportation and tour guides, and also to find our way to various sites on our own. She provided some recommendations for places to visit along our way and also gave some restaurant ideas. We spent almost 4 weeks in France and Italy, moving smoothly from place to place. Our most recent trip was to Sicily and Southern Italy. It include planes, trains and automobiles, 8 hotels, countless transfers, and 7 tours. It was a beautiful trip that allowed us to experience Sicily thoroughly. Given our extensive itinerary we had a couple of “local” hiccups which Niya was on top of immediately. I could not imagine dealing with these unanticipated issues with her help. She is a professional who we will be using again on our next trip.

Fantastic experience: WAC planned a beautiful vacation for us in Italy and Greece! We started off in Venice at Hotel Flora. It was a beautiful little boutique hotel with a courtyard garden! We enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and fresh baked goods each morning. Be sure to check out S. Mark’s Square and the clock tower at sunset for amazing views of Venice. We traveled to Rome and stayed at the Hotel Narvoba, which had a rooftop bar with amazing views! Be sure to do the food and wine tour in Travestevere! The food and wine was delicious! We then traveled to Positano and enjoyed a boat trip to Capri and swam in beautiful caves with the most beautiful aqua water! Our next stop was In Santorini Greece! We stayed at Anteliz Suites. This was the most beautiful location I have ever been! The hotel views of the caldera was breathtaking! The staff could not have been more helpful and nicer and the breakfast each morning was delicious! We took an amazing catamaran trip with a fantastic bbq lunch - the highlight of the trip. We went to Athens and Meteora - both equally fantastic as well! Thank you Hilary for planning the perfect vacation!

Fantastic experience: My family and I just returned from a one week trip to Greece (Athens, Santorini and Crete). We booked through Hilary from WAC Travel. We had previously booked a trip to Italy a couple of years ago through them and therefore had high expectations for this trip as well. Well we were once again not disappointed! The hotels that Hilary booked for us were absolutely amazing, from the staff who would always received us with a friendly smile and acted very professional, to the beautiful hotels them self. The transfers to and from the hotels ran smoothly and were always on time. Santorini!! what a beautiful place! we stayed there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. We stayed in the town of Firostefani, which was a perfect location, walkable to all the restaurants and shops, and not too crowded. Our hotel room and the views from our balcony were picture perfect. Albert who worked in the Santorini hotel treated us like family, all we had to do was ask and it was done, they totally went out of their way to make us comfortable. Hilary planning was detailed with the itinerary laid out with all the information needed and easy to follow. I would without hesitation recommend Hilary and WAC Travel to anyone who is looking for that perfect vacation.
