Negative experience: Their phone support is terrible. They tell you it will take 24-49 hours to solve a problem. They promise to call you back…even go so far as to schedule a time/day to call you back…but then it never happens.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. My wife and I bought a time share from this company 7 years ago at Casa Dorada. When I try to book now prices are 3-4x what they were a few months ago. All other websites are half this price. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!!! Lesson learned here. My next trip to Cabo will be to get rid of this contract. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GLOBEQUEST or VIVENZIA. I even called customer service and they offered to price match other websites. What good is a timeshare if I can purchase on Expedia or directly on the hotel website for cheaper. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORTED!!!

Negative experience: This is a total scam ..stay out of this agency especially with there presentation…no inventory in there hotel and customer service are unprofessional with higher rates than the normal agency with no fees ..they have a high yearly maintenance fee that doesn’t justify there rates of hotels and services…the biggest regret and will file a lawsuit against this scammers

Negative experience: This is a complete scam. Buyer beware. For 7 years we have been members and not once received the room type we invested in. They are always unavailable and the prices they offer are not even competitive. They bait you in with lies and never look back. Do not make the same mistake that we did. It would not surprise me if some of the people that work for this company have been convicted of fraud at some point in their life.

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE You have to absolutely be kidding me that this organization that has scammed so many people has this many “legitimate” 5 star reviews. My husband has owned our timeshare since 2006 (pre construction at Casa Dorada) and has upgraded 3 times in the past years. This organization is a giant sham and now has started offering the rooms we can get with deep discounts for the regular population. It’s an absolute shame that GlobeQuest, Questro and just the entire organization as a whole practically own the Baja California Sur because they truly are liars and cheats. Continue to upgrade to their new “highest” membership, still… Goodluck getting your room. Room prices have more than doubled. Resorts are lacking and have changed. They just continue to push people to “new” resorts that are nothing more than subpar. Just read the other “high” reviews, they are phoned and being begged for by customer service reps via phone call.

Negative experience: Read before you buy into Globequest. We purchased a vacation to partner resort at The Grand Mayan. Vacation was fully paid for. We get to the resort on a Friday evening and from the start they cannot find our reservation. I booked through Globequest so I felt as though Globequest will be taking care of the situation and that cannot be further from the truth. Globequedt abandoned us in a foreign county where we don't speak the language..Globequest pretty much made us pay for another week at another hotel as our only solution. I had to practically beg for an update from Globequest. Manager Enzo mentioned sending emails instead of phone calls to resolve the situation... EMAILS!!! . He only followed up one time to tell me on Monday the grand Mayan is back to business and we should get an update... NO WORD FROM HIM. You tell me is this the type of service you except after paying hundreds of thousands of dollars for a membership. They take your money and are always on time to collect at yearly membership dues but when your in a bind because they messed up, globe quest sticks their middle finger at you and could careless.. Update: a credit for the original booking was received a week upon my return; however, for me to feel whole I should have been credited for the room I had to book since it holds the higher cost.

Negative experience: Just recently, there was a significant change in pricing and forced choices in amenities at Casa Dorada in Cabo San Lucas. In May the rate was $1,750 for a Junior Suite that included transportation to and from the airport. In June the price had a staggering increase to over $2,800. The price now includes golf. We don’t golf and there is not an option to choose room only. When I called to inquire I was offered other places to stay up the corridor that cost less, but still include golf. All I want is a room at a reasonable rate. A jump in price of this magnitude at our favorite location is nothing but greed. I would not recommend Globequest to anyone right now.

Negative experience: I have only been able to get a room one time since I purchased my share in 2017. But when I check Expedia they have rooms available for my dates. This place is scamming so many people. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Negative experience: We booked a week vacation to cancun through GlobeQuest Travel on their third party Worldwide Resorts page. We purchased an Ocean Front room and upon check in we were given an Ocean view instead. A minor difference in title but a huge difference in location and view. So we thought the hotel made a mistake and the receptionist informed us that GQ booked our vacation on expedia! So what they are doing is actually fraud. They claim they have their own partnerships but instead use third party sites like expedia to fill their requests. We found this out because the hotel we were staying at revealed all the information to us. We could not believe it. Next time we will just book through expedia and guarantee our room.

Negative experience: We have been members for years and always stay at Casa Dorada in Cabo with no issues and love it! 2 years ago they took us over to Zoetry for a tour and really sold us on it to stay there. We booked it and then GlobeQuest kept contacting us to buy the all-inclusive which we NEVER do but because this resort isn’t near town we bought it, BIG MISTAKE!!! We arrived and when we asked our personal concierge Abraham about our “Endless Privileges” he was clueless! When we got to our room where there was supposed to be a mini bar…nothing!! He told us he would take care of it but 2 days into the trip still nothing. Then on day 3 he told us that the all-inclusive was for other timeshare customers not us, what??? We paid $2100 for it and he is the one that actually gave us the brochure with our room key in it with all of the items included. We were supposed to get a sunset cruise, golf lessons, fresh fruit & wine daily yet nothing! Finally we went to the owners reception and Alto was there who we know from Casa Dorada and he tried to make it right with a nice dinner and would get others involved which he did. Unfortunately we were also told by member services and manager that we would receive some kind of compensation but it’s been 3 weeks and no one has contacted us or made this right. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE TIMESHARE AT ZOETRY WITH ALL-INCLU, JUST HORRIBLE! They don’t care about the owners. The actual staff at the hotel was fabulous but not timeshare staff. NEVER AGAIN!

Negative experience: SCAM!!! You can pay less for a week at a resort by booking elsewhere (directly through the resort or through a 3rd party platform). Not to mention, you are out the annual maintenance fee, which adds to the cost of vacation each year. They talk a good talk and make it sound attractive but think about it...you pay a TON of money for the timeshare and then have to pay every time you use it, in addition to an annual maintenance fee? How is this saving you money? You're only making this company rich and it doesn't benefit you not even a tiny bit! We got a great "deal"!! We "only" paid $8,000 for the time share (upfront, did not finance). Any time we want to use it, we still have to pay for the week and it's NOT at a discounted rate. Annual maintenance fee goes up $10 every year. So, tell me how is this beneficial to anybody and how this is not a scam? Just turn your head and walk away!

Positive experience: I purchased a plan in Dec 2017 and upgraded in April 2019. Overall, I've been happy with my experience, though I had great difficultly re confirming a trip to Cabo for April 2022. While GlobeQuest needs to make it possible for ALL their employees to view customer accounts, Victor Lopez of Resort Global Network did a fantastic job confirming my reservation when NO ONE else at GlobeQuest was able to find my information. After spending 2 hours on the phone and talking with 10 different folks, to finally connect with Victor was a godsend. He answered all my questions, giving me peace that my trip will happen smoothly. GlobeQuest needs more Victors!

Negative experience: DO NOT BUY THIS TIMESHARE!! Absolutely scam!!! I paid over 50,000 to have weeks at casa dorada in cabo san lucas. Globequest is charging more for the room rates than other websites, for example if you book directly from casa dorada it’s cheaper and they give you free breakfast. I sent globequest a side by side comparison 10 times….No response!!! Also, they have no availability for glob quest memberships. I had to pay a maintenance fee on a room that they dont even have available??? When i called them to talk about the maintenance fee, when they dont even have rooms available at my home resort,, they told me to go somewhere else…are you kidding me??? I bought at my home reaort for a reason.. i bring my elderly mother, and kids, thats where we feel safe,Are you kidding? I hope this helps someone do not fall victim to this company….literally if you wanna go to casa dorada search the web and book through them. Dont make the same mistake, i did!! I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. Someone needs to file a lawsuit against them. Ps…i was at casa dorada for 3 weeks in November, i had bought 3 weeks thru casa dorada hotel website, 100 per day cheaper and this breakfast buffet that would blow your mind all including. I sat at the pool and watch them still try and sell time shares day after day. But, how can they do that if theres no availability for the previous owners..i wanted to jump up and scream and say dont do it. There scammers! So please, don’t believe anything they try and sell, you will regret it…and if you asked most owners they will tell you the same thing. Dont do it ,

Negative experience: Liars and thieves! Promise everything and deliver nothing. Prices at home resort Casa Dorada has gone up 150% since joining. Inventory is almost non-existent at Casa Dorada, it all goes to the hotel or sold online verses going to the owners / members. . Customer service is the worst, nobody works weekends to resolve problems, talking to anyone in call center needs to be done 5 times before anything gets done correctly. They will not confirm anything in an email that is promised up front and then tries to deny service later. This is a corrupt organization that goes out of its way to deliver poor service. The resorts say it’s GBS problem and GBS blames the resorts. Nobody has the same information and to get someone to resolve any issues will take hours of your day to get resolved. I hope this saves 1 person all the hassles and frustrations I have had just trying to spend money with them. I just don’t understand since we don’t do business like this in the US.

Positive experience: *Update. Globequest did come back and give a nice compensation package for this last minute change and I do appreciate the professionalism of the company. **++*Soooo disappointed. Booked a room at Me Cabo 9 months ago. Trip is in 4 days. Found out today that I have been relocated not only out of my hotel but out of Cabo San Lucas to another hotel in their family of hotels in San Jose….probably to balance books of some sort. My only recourse is to cancel. No compensation. There are rooms available at the Me Cabo…. I called … I have been an owner/ customer for 15 years. Luigi is supposed to be supervisor but can’t don’t anything and won’t let me speak to someone higher up. Sad but something must have changed with this group because they don’t want to make sure they fulfill their commitment. Be careful trusting your precious vacation time with this group….flying across country from NYC to stay outside of Cabo San lucas is not OK.**********

Negative experience: I had purchased my so called ownership into Globequest Travel Club to use Casa Dorada Medino beach in Los Cabos Mexico about 9 yrs ago. I was told in less then 2 months we would be closing out sales at Casa Dorada and moving to another hotel so buying now was imperative. I was sold of the fact the pricing was to be so much lower then the general public price. I was also sold on the fact that seeing the pricing was so much lower that I could sell 3 of my 5 weeks for a transfer fee of $50. This would allow me to make back all the money I spent buying into the program and at some point turn into an actual income once paid off. I then upgraded to the penthouse a few yrs ago starting my 30yr term all over again. As time progressed they slowly started raising the prices of the rooms now putting some rooms higher then the cost of the general public. The way the prices are today I no longer can book a jr one bed or even one bed at a price lower then the price of the the general public. I no longer can sell those weeks for a profit as well as of Jan 2020 when I was last there they where still selling timeshare deals 10 yrs later. They have over sold this hotel so much you cant even find available rooms 85% of the time. I have tried for over 15 months to talk to a manager about doing something to change this or upgrade me for free to put me back into the category of lower pricing. As I have started a facebook page called (Globequest class action suit) I have found in just 24 hours I have 119 people who have joined looking to get a class action lawsuit filed agains Globequest Travel Club. I think if your considering in becoming a member you may wanna think twice as this co is a rip off, they will lie and make it sound real good then stick you in the end.

Negative experience: They invited us to a fiesta across town, called us several times to confirm. We had to take a taxi...only to find... no fiesta?? Out $60 in cabfare, we called to speak to someone to complain...nobody is calling us back! Have called several times! I would think twice about booking anything! They do not respond to you at all. Negative experience: We have been members for years and usually have a great experience, but this time was so different! We have had our trip booked for the last 11 months, and two weeks before our trip they called and offered us vouchers to a new restaurant at one of their resorts in town and also to the spa. We happily accepted, and triple checked that there was no catch and that it was indeed free. They confirmed THREE TIMES it was free and that they just wanted members to try out a new resort they had (Casa Del Mar). On the day of our travel, they called us to tell us they made a mistake and we don’t actually have these vouchers. They said we don’t get anything that was promised to us and even though it was their mistake, they would not honor anything. I asked to talk to a manager, she put me on hold for 10 minutes then came back and said the manager wouldn’t do anything either. Really disappointed.

Negative experience: Promised to take my Florida time share in trade if I bought into their program. They made an attempt to sell my FL timeshare and when they weren’t able to easily do so backed out of the deal and refused to refund any of my membership $$$. Don’t trust these people....

Negative experience: Globequest is a huge scam! I've been approached by Brent at Casa Del Mar in Cabo. He was extremely rude and disrespectful when we told him we were not interested. He was also extremely pushy and tried really hard to get our credit card information... a real con artist! The plans there are selling are clearly not interesting price-wise and they want you to decide on the spot which clearly isn't a good sign... RUN!

Fantastic experience: Don't believe the reviewer who gave 1 star. I just got off the phone with Jean and he was absolutely polite, knowledgeable, and provided excellent customer service. I had to rebook a timeshare week at Casa Dorada and he walked me through the process (many steps), and followed back up with two phone calls to finish the rebooking. Thank you, Jean!

Negative experience: Do not believe any of the positive reviews! They ply you with alcohol. lie to you and push you to sign just to get out of there! We returned the next day asking to cancel to which they said " NO, you waived that right by accepting our one time deal. " We certified mailed our intent to cancel. canceled the card we paid with and got out of it. You are basically paying for bonus weeks or last call weeks through RCI. You pay to get "discounted weeks" anyone can get. RUN don't walk from these scammers.

Negative experience: Stay away from the Globe Quest Scam (bait and switch). They will show you the model room and tell you the other rooms are unavailable to show but they are the same. Not true the Jr. Suites are unacceptable if you have more than 2 Adults. I recommend stay away as the call center that calls from Miami has no clue about the property as the manager at Casa Dorado just told us they had all the notes for our requests but the call center knows nothing about the property. They are untrained about the actual resorts. Stay Away!!!! Updated: 3/2/2020: Again, they are 100% a scam, the hotel is beautiful but have no inventory, DO NOT BUY INTO this scam. Horrible customer service.. they will stall and drag you along... Feel free to reach out to me for any additional information about this company Look at all positive reviews everyone has 5 or less reviews all fake.

Fantastic experience: the first time we attempted to use globequest in October it turned into a nightmare. Late flights, missed flights, overbooked flights. We gave up after 3 days and came home. Negative experience: me feet hurt so much from all the running around from these guys. very dis-honest and even though they made a mistake it will cost me $175. they will not let me cancel my reservation for cabo after 9 days of trying. their website had a glitch when i made a reservation and it booked me to the wrong location. they will not correct it and if i need to cancel (which im still trying) they give you the run around. I even broke down and said i would pay it but still can't cancel. globequest is a dishonest company who does not care for the consumer. read BBB reviews.

Negative experience: DO NOT TRUST!!! So far not seeing the benefits of reselling/renting unused time as was promised by our sales rep. Jorge (happymanincabo). He gave us empty promises. Make sure you get everything they sell you in writing and don't believe them if they tell you they will help you with the process!! In this case, we wanted to know how to post our timeshare for rent because we were tight in the wallet. We were able to use our membership once locally but pricing was similar to that of AAA. Not sure it's worth what we paid. Have tried to reach out several times. Jorge (hapymanincabo) is no longer with GlobeQuest...so I'm stuck!

Fantastic experience: Was really upset with their customer service. Online they allow you to set up transportation services, well I set up one way transportation from airport to resort on the phone (I asked the gentleman for roundtrip but he didn't do that). So, I set up the transportation one way back from resort to airport online. Well apparently that's not allowed. Got a call that I had to cancel that reservation but they charged me a $35 fee to do so!! Pretty ridiculous if you tell me. Not happy with their customer service, I honestly will not be using them again after this trip. 09/15/19 update- the next day after the reservation Globe Quest had customer support call me and refund me the fees and expenses and created 1 roundtrip reservation. Was very impressed that they made this right. Thank you.

Positive experience: I do not want to give an overall rating, but it is required that I do so ... I wish to rate my wonderful experience with Pabielis today, which was wonderful, as FIVE STARS PLUS. When I called, I was very unhappy. I would have given this vacation Club a one-star rating or less. My sales rep distinctly told me that I would not have to pay ANY sort of maintenance fee if I did not use the service ... When I went on to book a room, it was indicated that I owed $199 + a $30 late fee for "renewal". I have not paid that before TO MY KNOWLEDGE ... I chose GlobeQuest specifically because I was told there were NO SUCH FEES. I just want to say that Pabielis handled our conversation incredibly politely and professionally -- and did so with a VERY unhappy customer. His customer service skills are exemplary by any standards. You are unbelievably fortunate to have a representative with such skills. If a person can handle a VERY unhappy customer as beautifully as Pabielis responded to me, they are SOLID GOLD! Please express my heartfelt appreciation to Pabielis. Positive experience: Al dia de hoy no hemos visto algun beneficio de la membresia, llevamos pagando casi un año, en donde nos prometieron que nos iban a apoyar con las rentas de las semanas y hasta ahora va a salir mas caro estar pagandola membresia que comprar directamente en una agencia de viajes, en donde los precios si estan baratos, el Sr. Cesar de origen Venezolana nos bajo el cielo y las estrellas pero lamentablemente esto parece ser un fraude, que lo unico que les interesa es vender y tomarles el pelo a la gente sin importar su nacionalidad.

Negative experience: WE made our reservations with GQ probably 8 months ago. two weeks before our trip, I was told I had to contact the resort directly to confirm my reservation. The hotel didn't have any reservations on mu name. It was very stressful because GQ wanted us to call the resort, and the resort continued to state they didn't have any thing reserved on our name. I had to call GQ every day, sometimes, 2-3 times a day, and every time, I had to talk to a different person and explained the whole story all over again. It was very frustrating.

Negative experience: This is a total scam. Please do not believe them or pay for this. They will tell you that you’ll get a certain type of room for what you purchase, and then when you book it, they’ll tell you again that you’ll get that, but when you get to the resort/hotel, they’ll give you something less, and tell you that room types are not guaranteed and that they only have a small amount of rooms set aside for Globequest, none of which are the type they said you would get. And then when you call Globequest, they say they can’t help.

Negative experience: Globequest Travel Club in May 2018 sold me a travelclub membership. I was initially reluctant to purchase but their representative Christopher Hance guaranteed me that they would get me out of my Hilton timeshare and if they couldn't they would return my money. Well needless to say they were unable to get me out and they've refused to return my money or answer my calls. This company is a dishonest business enterprise that literally stole my money with witnesses watching them do it. Beware of doing any business with them and beware of talking to any of them if you come across them in your travels.

Negative experience: Illegal, trash company. I canceled on time. I sent in my letter. They still refuse to cancel. They have now stolen $3000 from me.

Negative experience: It's not a good idea that I publicly rate the nastiness of the past 8 years with Globequest, and I haven't even used the timeshare I purchased. :(

Fantastic experience: Ceser was extremely helpful and efficient when I called to confirm my reservation for Oct 12-19, 2018. I also requested a bottom floor room with direct access to the pool which he said he noted for me.
