Negative experience: I'm so happy that I'm not a customer or member of AAA anymore! They said I owed them money but instead of trying to contact me they sent me to a collection agency and had it put on my credit report!! I was paying over $220 for no fault insurance plus $90 for roadside. I went somewhere else and now I pay $110 for everything! More then 50% less. Straight rip offs who don't care about their customers!

Negative experience: I could not get my agent to call me back, finally I got in my car and drove to the office and told them that I needed her to call me. By this time it might have been a little too late for aaa. The agent also had me on the phone for over an hour to get the policy going. I had my homeowner's insurance and my auto policy through them. My homeowners policy never got delivered to my mortgage company! She had the wrong address even though I gave her the correct one. The day I went over there to the office they were pretty unprofessional trust in sweatpants and stuff. I ended up canceling both policies and went back to the former insurance that I had before. If you ask me you better beware because your customer is your best advertisement! If you don't know this then you shouldn't be in business.

Negative experience: Horrible experience today , very unprofessional, rude and arrogant white woman , she didn’t know how to write the number 4 ( she wrote something similar to “Y” ) on the international driving permit , thanks god the receipt of payment is printed .

Negative experience: Worst roadside ever I've been trying to get a hold of anyone for two hours to set up a service call can't talk to anyone I will never get AAA again

Negative experience: STAY AWAY from Heather Peplinski!!! She was VERY unprofessional and rude!! Such a lack of consideration and understanding for the needs of my family. I have dealt with many many people in Sales and she is definitely one of the worst hands down! So unfortunate people like this act the way that they do. Stay clear of this lady! Trust me!!

Negative experience: I have never seen the worst front desk staff in my life. I would never visit this place. I was traveling from another city when they lied the photo machine was not working. Both the front desk people were rude and gave different reasons for not taking the photo. I would never recommend anyone to go to this AAA location.

Fantastic experience: I wanted to have some requirement for my home policy for renter insurance purpose. Mr. Stu Stirrett who is my sales and service advisor. Very Amazing and prompt service from him. Even though he was on vacation he replied email and provided me document which was required. AAA should be proud of such employee who provides excellent and very very speedy service. I am very happy from his service since almost more then 10 years.

Negative experience: I would give zero stars if I could. Stay away from these people. Rude, uncaring and expensive. They force you to sign up for a membership even if you don't want it. They dropped us with no warning after being a customer for 2 decades. Cancelled the policy the day they notified us. Horrible people. Horrible company.

Fantastic experience: We needed passport pictures taken and I called ahead to ask if I needed an appointment and was told that I just needed to walk in and show my AAA card. It really was that easy except I didn't even have to show my AAA card, just provide my name and phone number. Passport pictures were taken in a professional manner and presented to us in a nice little folder ready to be attached to the passport application. I love having my AAA branch office here for whenever I need their support.

Negative experience: I went in to get an international driving permit and the person helping me told me I couldn’t get one because I wasn’t a member. I showed this person proof that I could, indeed, get one without being a member with just a $20 fee. He then came up with an excuse that there is a “shortage” of international driving permits and that they were halting producing them. This did not seem right. I left and went to another location where they were able to give me the permit no problem. I’m not sure if it’s the certain person I was working with but this location lacked customer service skills and showed me that they were lazy. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

Negative experience: I did not go to AAA in Canton I don't know why it's asking me to post my experience at AAA .But I'll tell you one thing?, AAA dropped me 2 years ago, for no reason .I didn't have any tickets or any accidents .they didn't tell me they dropped me.. they made me drive around with no car insurance.

Negative experience: I was just there, no cars in the lot and doors locked. No sign why their closed. It's 2pm Mon.

Positive experience: I'm quite disappointed. I called last week and this week to get help finding a hotel for the weekend. Both times I was told I would be called back. I never heard from anyone. I called the toll free number. They were extremely helpful.

Negative experience: Locked myself out of my car. I had to sit and answer questions by a computer only to repeat it to a person. They sent a tow guy 2 hours away to the wrong address and recorded the wrong year of the car so he wouldn't be able to do much anyways. I'm going to be sitting here for hours in 30 degree weather.

Fantastic experience: Went today to get a trip tic. Also some tour books. The Lady that waited on me was efficient and friendly. Visit was very quick. She new what she was doing and just did it. A rear treat these days, if you know what I mean.

Negative experience: Rude. Rude. Rude. I went in for travel advice. Was met with an unwelcoming, rude, condescending representative. She talked to me like I was incompetent. Even though I went to her for her "expertise" never again will I be back.

Negative experience: Jim does not return phone calls or emails, has lied about resolving an issue and has caused the policy to be cancelled multiple months in a row. The policy gets reinstated every month and he fails to enroll in autopay, month after month. This has caused gaps in coverage at times when the vehicle was needed the most. Unprofessional, unresponsive and a total waste of time. If you value your time and money this is not the place for you.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience with AAA Michigan road side assistance. Been waiting for more than 90 minutes now, called the operator back, he put me on hold for 10 minutes. Apparently they went cheap on their tow truck network and there’s no operator to service the call for another 30 minutes. So much for the $90 we pay then year after year for roadside assistance!!

Fantastic experience: I've been there twice to get my international driving permit for my vacation. The first time I had just renewed my state license that day, so I couldn't do the paperwork that day, even though the wonderfully helpful lady had already taken my passport style photo. Thank goodness she had not printed them yet! Either way, I came back today and was helped by Antoinette and she was an absolute delight. She deserves a raise and to train future employees on customer service. She was amazing.

Negative experience: Needs handicapped seating to work with customer service rep. Would only serve me at the counter, but I was very clear in asking if I could have a place to sit to have my questions answered at the travel counter. I had to keep walking back and forth to the seating area because I couldn't continue standing. Horrible. And disrespectful.

Fantastic experience: Visited the Canton, MI office seeking information and travel insurance for a family trip to Mexico. The information and ability to complete forms was very efficient and the site information proved to be useful.

Negative experience: Came in for a trip ticket, but was told I was too early to receive a ticket as I was leaving in April. 50 years as a member, what is AAA good for ?

Fantastic experience: In planning a trip to DC for me and my 12 yr old granddaughter, my agent, Tom Dean has been SUPER accommodating and helpful. He not only has be great at the AAA office, but has communicated with me via email with other options and information that might be helpful with my trip. Thank you, Mr Dean, for adding so much value to my planned excursion. I hope to plan future vacations with you as well.

Fantastic experience: I visited the Canton AAA site to make some modifications to my auto insurance. I was ready to spend 30 - 40 minutes, but I was helped as soon as I got there. Ten minutes at most I was on my way.

Fantastic experience: Went to AAA to find out about airfare to Europe. Person at Travel section informed me that since I was looking for air only, I could do better if I book the flight on my own. This helped for future trips when I am looking for a complete package for travel.

Positive experience: It wasn't a happy experience when my vehicle was in the body shop. A rental car from Enterprise was charged to my credit card account because AAA would not approve payment to Enterprise. I am a AAA member for over 50 years and have had rental car coverage all the time I insured my vehicles with AAA. AAA would not own up to their error and it took quite a while to get it cleared up with Enterprise and my credit card company. This was hard to believe because AAA originally made a reservation at Enterprise for the rental car for me. My advise is to make record of all names and phone numbers of persons you talk to at AAA whenever making arrangements for anything through AAA or just do it yourself.
