Fantastic experience: I booked an all inclusive vacation through Funjet got my final itinerary but it did not have the flight confirmation number on it. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone from Funjet nor frontier airlines. I found local agents that were listed on Funjets website and called foxworld travel and Kayla was so sweet and helpful! She listed to my situation. I’ve never booked through funjet, never been out of the country and never flown anything but southwest….she had me email my itinerary to her while on the phone and called Funjet and called me back with an answer with in 15 minutes! Talk about customer service and I didn’t even book through them! I will definitely be booking my next vacation with them just based off of the willingness to help and prompt response to my questions. Negative experience: I called for a quote on a cruise. I waited a week to make sure I gave her plenty of time called back to make sure she had the right email. I was told she was working on it and going on three weeks later still have had no response so we have moved on to another travel agent

Positive experience: After a long day of travel, we arrived at our hotel to find out that our travel agent did not book the right dates. When I contacted her she basically said “I looked into it and that’s right, I missed the booking second night”. There was no offer to make out right. I will not use this agency again. Update: Fox contacted me and made it right. They were very concerned about the error and responsive.

Positive experience: Walked in with an appointment looking to get more information for a trip. It felt pretty unwelcoming when we walked in. No one welcomed us when we walked in, and finally someone came out of the back and asked what we needed. We stated we had an appointment and the agent we were working with came out of the back. The agent never asked for our names. We stated we were looking to go to Alaska and or to other places in the world/open to ideas. We stated we were interested in fishing, hiking and exploring local areas. We also stated we didn’t want a cruise. We had a pretty good budget to work with, with some wiggle room, and gave the ideas of what we were looking to do. None of what we were looking to do was brought up in the meeting. The first suggestion was to go on a cruise when we said we were not interested in a cruise. When certain things didn’t match our budget just right the agent didn’t suggest any other places to look into/other options and suggested we just do a driving trip Nashville or the Grand Canyon for our honeymoon.…. Less than an ideal experience.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so nice they go above and beyond to make sure your trip is the best it can be!

Negative experience: We wanted to take an Alaskan Cruise and thought it would be best if we used a travel agent. When I called for an appointment I asked that we be matched with a cruise expert. During our meeting we requested three things. 1. Our balcony room be located on the side of the ship where we would see land while cruising 2. The cruise be casual - we did not want to dress for dinner 3. We have open seating for dining. Our cruise is in a few weeks so we received an email from our travel agent with a suggested packing list of what to bring. Imagine my surprise when it said I should pack two gowns and that my husband should pack a suit. I'm not sure how our agent thinks gowns and suits are considered casual. Not happy but we'll deal with that. What I'm having a hard time dealing with is that we just realized that our room is not on the side of the boat where we will see land all of the time. When I discovered this I questioned the agent. She said you'll see it while traveling through the passage and that the opposite side of the boat has great sunsets. That's all very nice but it's not what we requested. When I told her she should take some responsibility for her error instead of trying to sell me on a sunset she replied that it wasn't her fault. That's the room the cruise line gave us - They are the experts and she had no reason to doubt what they offered." If there wasn't a room matching our exact request I'm uncertain why we weren't told that when we booked and weren't given the option to pick a different cruise. We booked this trip in late September or early October of 2022 - there were lots of options at that time. I think we have open seating, I guess I should be grateful for that. I will not use Fox World Travel again NOT because they make mistakes, but because they don't admit to them and are passing the blame. Being that we requested a cruise expert, our agent should have known the room we were given was not what we asked for. I should have saved the fee we paid them. Not worth the money

Negative experience: I took a month long trip to Hawaii arranged through Fox World Travel. I affirmed with my agent multiple times the total cost of the trip. I stayed at seven different hotels. I was never informed or provided any information about only half of each hotel stay being reflected in the total payment. That is a critical piece of information that was omitted!! Perhaps those who frequently travel would be aware of hotels only taking partial payments before guests stays but I am not a frequent traveler. I amassed thousands of dollars in debt due to this.

Negative experience: We called and explained we'd never worked with a travel agent before and wanted to learn how that works and what to expect. The woman was impatient and gave little info but said we would learn more in a meeting with the actual travel agent. Fair enough. We prepared for that call by creating a short list of our likes, dislikes about travel, and what the most important parts of the trip would be. However the agent didn't seem to care about our preferences at all. We said the cities we wanted to go, she said "No, you want to go...." and gave us new cities. Okay, we're flexible. Those cities are fine. Then she told us about a tour, we said we weren't interested in the movie that tour was related to. Then she told us we needed a wine tour, but we don't really drink...We had to work hard to squeeze in telling her what we wanted, because she really didn't seem to care! She brought up how much a trip like this would cost, and it was within our expectation. She told us when to expect her email. Well, the email was several days late and 50% over budget -- without activities! No explanation whatsoever, just let her know if we need a phone call about it. We paid $100 for what amounted to a waste of our time. Terrible communication, and both people we interacted with treated us like they were too busy for our business. We have since gone with another travel agent, who actually wanted to get to know our preferences so she could plan the right trip for us.

Fantastic experience: On short notice, direct flight, 7 night vacation plans were to me the next day with multiple resorts to choose from. Marisa did a great job walking me through everything needed to complete my vacation. Great job! Thank you!!

Negative experience: Scammers!! They have my information and booked a hotel for me for 5 days. I have NEVER heard of them before

Fantastic experience: When I wrote to Marisa at Fox Travel Brookfield with questions, she always got back to me ASAP. This is our 5th trip to Iberostar in the Dominican, but our 2nd trip booked thru Marisa! As you can see, we must be happy with Marisa!

Fantastic experience: Responsive, polite, professional, patient.

Negative experience: Guess it all depends who you get. My wife and I scheduled a trip to northern Italy and Switzerland. Signed in late January 2020. And COVID hit. Certainly not Fox Travel's fault. The company Fox set us up with for the Italy tour cancelled and gave us a full credit plus and additional $100 per person to be used on any of their tours by the end of 2022. Great. The tour company for the Switzerland leg, however, was not so great. How Avanti Destinations is still in business is beyond me. I joined a FB group where many details of their shady handling of COVID cancellations are documented. They cancelled the trip yet wanted the remaining $2600 for the airfare so that we could get a credit for booking by the end of 2020. We decided to contest this with our credit card company, and have not heard from the travel agent since. It appears from my research that any money paid by Avanti to United Airlines was refunded, so why did Avanti demand more money? And why did our Fox travel agent not fight them on this, especially when Fox suggested Avanti? Plus, the agent was per the emails I have supposed to have requested that Travel Guard give a credit for the travel insurance for when we could take the trip. Never happened, so I'm out another $530 on that. For all I know, the agent is no longer with Fox, but that doesn't matter. COVID was not Fox's fault, but the manner in which their agent simply walked away is Fox's fault. We will never use Fox travel again. Ever. And we are now empty nesters with significant disposable income. Big mistake, Fox. Big. We plan to book our own trip. If we can't count on the agent when we are still here in the US, how can we trust the agent if problems arise and we're half a world away?

Negative experience: I reached out to Fox World Travel in Brookfield and was in contact with Martha. I was looking to travel with my wife to Greece for our anniversary. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our work we only have a week to travel. I was informed this was a very short time to visit a place like Greece. I wrote back that I understood it was a shorter visit but explained why we could only travel for one week. After that I was completely ghosted and never contacted again. Fortunately, I have always planned our trips on my own in the past sothis will not be that detrimental, I will just have to spend my money elsewhere.

Negative experience: I called ahead to make sure someone that could help us with our trip request would be there. I was informed they would have three agents there that could help us. Upon arrival we were informed that the person that takes care of our trip was not there that day and were given general information. What a waste of time.

She has so much patience and has so much concern for all of her clients. She treats our group as if we are her family. Our group has been with her for over 28 year's but me and my sister have been with her over 15 years and she has never failed to call us, check on our needs, or just follow up on us to make sure we have everything we need. How she does it, it's a mystery to me because our group is a lot. Lol. Yes, a lot.

Fantastic experience: We booked our trip to Cancun, Mexico through Fox Travel, Brookfield, WI. It was fast and easy and all the travel agents over there, were very responsible in taking all of our questions and answering properly. Especial thanks to our Traval Agent; Martha, and to the all Apple Vacation’s Crew in Cancun, Mexico. We had a great vacation and wonderful memories from our trip. We stayed in Ground Sunset Princess Resorts in Riveramaya. We loved Princess, there are much to do during your stay in the Princess, from enjoying pools to live music every night and delicious food.

From multiple choices of destinations to actually choosing the right resort site for us, she was very thorough and diligently gave us lots of options and information. It probably took us about a month of weighing options, from our initial call to the time we actually booked the trip. Pretty cool thing happened on our day of booking, right after we had told Marisa to move forward with the package and options that we had chosen. She called back later that day to say that she did some last-minute checks before pulling the trigger and had found another vacation package with all the same options we had chosen, for about $1k less! Thanks Marisa! We haven't traveled yet, but are looking forward to our family vacation.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience - the travel agents are so knowledgeable! I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, but they helped me figure out hotels, flights, and "extras" that matched what I like to do when I travel.

Negative experience: Horrible service. No one said hi when we walled in. We had to say hi first and ask who to talk to. The woman helping us had no knowledge on destination weddings. She wrote our info down and never contacted us with prices like she said she was going to. Would never recommend anyone going here.

Negative experience: Do not go here. Everyone of the agents looked miserable to be there and rude. We did a walk in and the lady we first talked to gave us a look of oh no i don't want these people and gave us to another woman. I was excited to plan my trip but the agent didn't even ask my name. She asked a few questions and then told me costs that were double what i saw for prices onlines. She only talked about one hotel the winstor in every country we were looking at. Really .... she looked like she hated her job. If I were you I would not want Mrs. Phifer as my agent and I will NOT be going back.
