Positive experience: The office was very nice, but I was disappointed that they would not attempt to take a passport photo of my infant. They felt that it would have been too difficult. I understood at first, but then the post office and CVS were both able to do it. I was disappointed, because we are paying to be AAA members and then I had to take more trips in order to get our passport photos complete.

Fantastic experience: I enjoyed getting some maps here. Delightful conversation with the very knowledgeable, Simon. I enjoyed hearing about his trips to Fla, Disney, Universal, etc. He was very kind and even found me the very last Europe Tour Book, as they no longer have them in store , as everything has gone digital. Such is the way of today. I miss thumbing through them, turning over corners, etc. Anyway, Simon is a delight. Ask for him !

Negative experience: I presented him with a claim explaining the damage that one of his tow trucks did to my vehicle during a route service and I mentioned that I was with a police officer on board and another police officer could cooperate with what happened and they were not going to fix my car when I told him The person at the tow truck told me that my car was special and that it was not as tall as a regular car. He spoke badly to me and told me that he doesn't care about what happened.

Negative experience: In September of 2022 I was on 75 in Tennessee when I had a flat tire . I live in ky. I document everything..I called Triple AAA as I have been a member for years having paid for the highest membership with a battery etc ..I noted who I talked to. I provided my location...Mile marker etc .. was stranded for 3 and a half hours ..unacceptable..dangerous for a woman..no one came. Unacceptable. I continued to call back..documented who I talked to. A state Trooper named Adam Douglas came to my rescue. When I returned home that same day I called to make a complaint. I have the case no..I documented who I spoke to. I continued to call back with the case no and name of case mgr. To this day Noone has called..unacceptable ..however I have continued to receive correspondence to pay for my membership that I of course absolutely won't give another dime for.Dont throw your money away people....as a member for years. now former ...I will use every opportunity to expose this piss poor business...when I see theire rep on TV I am so so perturbed by her advising...Your agency is a sham. And if I get one more piece of correspondence soliciting my money.ill contact every local news station and do my own advising. Direct from the consumer..no star..if I could give zero stars i would

Negative experience: This has to be the most unhelpful AAA office on the planet. I moved from Bowling Green two years ago and went to the Hamburg location of AAA to give a change of address and was told I'd be notified of renewal (I have letter from Cincinnati office confirming). I did not get a renewal notification from Hamburg/Lexington. I went to the Hamburg location recently when I did not get the renewal notice, to renew my membership and was basically told by Simon/Mark that they could not help me. The manager basically said "It was my fault, I should have called when I didn't get a renewal notice" (when you're on auto pay you don't really thing of that!!) I came back later with the letter from Cincinnati confirming that I'd made a change of address two years ago. Leigh was the only person who tried to help and get things sorted out. But, I'm still not able to get into my account. Simon and Mark were totally dismissive of me, and quite honestly I was I was completely embarrassed and shocked by their and the office mangers' treatment of me. Leigh was the only person who tried to help.

Fantastic experience: Roxanne was excellent in arranging our travel plans. She listened to our preferences and interests, searched out deals, made suggestions of things we hadn't thought of, and an hour later, we had plane tickets, hotels, local transportation, and a sightseeing tour package. Fantastic experience: I can't imagine a nicer and more professional bunch of people to deal with. We were provided with excellent help planning our recent trip to Ireland and making sure we were prepared with the proper travel insurance and electrical devices to make sure we didn't blow up our cameras or phones converting from the voltage in Europe. We visited the Hamburg office several times before and after our trip and always were greeted with friendly and concerned faces. I would not hesitate to send any of my friends to these folks. Negative experience: after speaking finally to the associates that poorly handled my case complaints i no long have faith in the triple A company, these shady con artist with go above and beyond to steal your money and lie to you while they cover their own backs and will ignore you until you make a big deal about someone getting back to you months later

Negative experience: Just got off the phone with AAA "Linda". What a disappointing conversation. I had asked about Medical Insurance requirements to travel to Turks&Caicos. The associate just did not seem very interested or willing to help with my travel question. Secondly, I asked about travel to Utah and the mighty five area. Again, I was directed to the National Parks website and the associated stated that she did not know of any other resources. If these response are any indication of the AAA travel group then it really is a waste and such poor customer service.

Fantastic experience: on Sunday 2/6/22, my daughter's car transmission burned out & she was stranded on side of road in Lexington. Called AAA customer service center & spoke with Kara Winchester. Kara was friendly, professional, & very efficient. After placing my call, Kara dispatched a tow truck over to my daughter in LESS than 30 min. Her car was towed from Lex. to Lou (75 miles) & she was driven back to Lou.as well! Excellent Customer Service!

Negative experience: Been a member for two years and used it once before today.today I called and they said they got no answer from local Providers and they couldn’t get me a time when I would be serviced. I was sitting on a country road With no hopes of getting a call no timeframe at what I’m looking at and the best I could get was I’m calling.. what a joke! $100 a year to be abandoned on a country road at 4 am cuz some local provider wouldn’t answer knowing they could go to another provider another country over but it would cost more. I CANCELED MY MEMBERSHIP AND WILL NEVER UAVE ANOTHER

Fantastic experience: Every time I have had to deal with AAA having to do with almost any aspect of the business, I've always had an absolutely wonderful experience. We have used AAA services to the max and have never had any problems. Call it good luck, call it good timing, but we have had an absolute great experience we highly recommend AAA membership to anybody who wants it if you own a vehicle or if you plan to go on vacation or insurance. My most recent experience was using a notary specialist that assisted with notary signatures for a sale of our personal vehicle. Seamless and friendly transaction.

Negative experience: 45 minutes to an hour on the phone to request a wrecker. This was a second call the next morning because they screwed up the night before and sent the wrong type of wrecker and then cancelled the other wrecker that was supposed to come pick the car up. So their 24-hour roadside assistance is nothing but a joke. Basically Triple A left them stranded. My rating not even a one star. However I cannot post this review without at least posting a star

Employees seemed half asleep, and unhappy in their jobs. Been twice now, same thing both times. Will not deal with this office.

Negative experience: update: now these idiots sent me an "overdue" bill for the exact same amount of the remaining money for home ins. from two years ago! I do not owe them money. Do not give these people your business. They are such a never ending nightmare! Quality isn't what it used to be. When I first came in to AAA for car insurance and rental insurance I was able to get great coverage for less than Liberty. My agent was great, until he got married. He stopped returning calls. I physically went to the office to get the car insurance straightened out. By the way, the insurance increases about $100 every year. I've moved to the country, my insurance increased again. Oh, did I already mention Will Goldey is never in the office? 5/30/2017 went in again today to go over the car ins and yep, you guessed it, not there. I have no desire to talk to someone on the phone after going through an automated ordeal. I want local, affordable insurance. Today, a Karen B reluctantly helped me. I do not drive my car every day, no tickets, no accidents. I shouldn't be paying more for car ins. than my spouse who lives in California. Hopefully, I can find better insurance with a company who gives a rip. AAA just wants your money. Or in this case, my money.

Negative experience: I've been a AAA Plus member for 45 years. Used towing service twice and jump service once. Sunday nigh (2/25/18) I was stranded on a country road with a break down. Called AAA six times. Never got any service. Never even got a return call. After 3 hours an off duty Police officer saw my wife and I by the road and assisted us in getting wrecker service to tow us and our car. It is my intention to dissuade as many people as possible from wasting their time and money on this useless frustration.

Negative experience: We have been with AAA for a long time and have our homeowners and car insurance with them. As other reviewers have noted, AAA has really gone downhill in the last few years and become VERY unreliable. Even though we have a perfect record, our car and homeowners insurance keeps going up between 100-400 dollars. When we ask our local agent why, he says insurance just went up. Anyway last year our local agent W. Goldey was supposed to cancel one homeowner insurance and activate another. He assured us that it would be taken care off. (We still have emails as proof). It turned out that he activated the new insurance but never canceled the old one and our mortgage company paid both resulting in our escrow payments increasing. Thank you AAA for your screw up. Our homeowners insurance and car insurance also went up again this year so I went to AAA several times to get a quote from our agent. Guess what, he is never there. Since I have work, my wife went in and finally got to see him after several attempts. He gave us a quote for a new home insurance policy and told once the old one expired, the new one would take effect. He assured us that the old policy this time would get cancelled. Mr Goldey also assured us he would inform our mortgage company about the new insurance policy. Well, guess what, he cancelled the old policy but never informed our mortgage company that the old policy was cancelled and never informed our mortgage company that there was a new policy. The mortgage company went and paid the bill on the canceled policy because they were not informed by Mr Goldey that the policy was canceled. Even though Mr Goldey had 2 1/2 months and assured us that he would take care of everything because of his mess up last year, he did not do it. To add insult to injury, since he did not inform the mortgage company that we have a new homeowners insurance policy, the mortgage company did not know they had to pay for the new policy. So, as of right now, we just found out today that we do not have any homeowners insurance because of Mr W. Goldey's MAJOR screw up. This is how much AAA cares about its loyal customers. We hope to talk to a AAA Regional Manager or CEO so that they can be made aware how poorly their local branch operates and rectify the situation asap. Shame on you AAA.

Positive experience: I'm not an AAA member. But I stopped in here to pick up my international driver's license. This is a pretty cool place. They sell travel gear and luggage at good prices. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly.

Positive experience: I stopped in this morning to get some tickets for an upcoming trip. While the rockers took almost an hour to procure, the girl at the front desk was dedicated and apologetic. Once completed, she also gave me some good advice to use on my travels.

Negative experience: The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars is because every time I called AAA the customer service people (especially the insurance dept.) have been outstanding! However, their receptionist acts like she couldn'the give a damn whether you're helped or not! She repeatedly invalidated and dismissed anything I said like she is the ONLY one with ANY information about travel. Evidently, according to her attitude members know nothing and are unworthy of time or assistance. (I wish I'd gotten her name, but she worked the front desk at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday June 25, 2016.)

Negative experience: This is my 5th call in 3 days. You are the WORST possible AAA club in history. Member since 1997! Premium member now what a joke! 3 hrs on hold, hung up on, with a family member in car totalled. Just needed help. I've had a car towed from Joshua Tree to Redondo Beach Ca, and I can't get mine towed after a crash from Bowling Green to a shop in Louisville??? Your club is a joke. Please transfer my premium membership and all it entails, and my loyalty since 1997 to a PROPER one! Airbags are out CLUB! The car, It was totalled! And you can't tow it without "auto shop" approval?

Positive experience: Went in to pick up some travel books, but they were very busy, so I went out to run another errand nearby, came back and had a wonderful experience receiving assistance from one of the great ladies who assembled a travel package of some travel books and a map!
