Fantastic experience: Dimitris and Christina have done it again! Last time Dimitris planned my husband's and my trip to Greece - places you've never heard of and places you have - and that was an amazing experience. This time he and Christina took on me and my 2 sisters for our European Vacation(!)........we had the trip of a lifetime and they were there for us every step of the way! Our accommodations were fantastic and their suggestions for what to see and do were perfect, and if we had any questions or concerns they were just a text away. We'll never forget this wonderful time together and we'll always be grateful to them for making it happen.

Fantastic experience: Panos did a fantastic job planning and coordinating our family trip to Athens, Santorini and Crete. Our travel plans were seamless and tailored to our expressed interests. Our accommodations were incredible. I was particularly appreciative of the recommendations in Crete which I didn't know as much about. We loved exploring the old town of Chania which is just magical and had so many options for great hiking in the mountains and along the beaches. October was a great time to explore Greece with Asimina Tours as our guides.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I loved our itinerary that Panos from Asimina Tours prepared for us. You made our tours and transfers stress free with the amazing guides and our drivers were very friendly and punctual considering all the traffic. The guide we had for Pompeii made our tour very interesting and informative. One of our favorite activities was the cooking class with Ester and wine tasting at Cantina Del Vesuvio. The winery was beautiful and Ester made it so much fun. The hotels were great and loved the views we had from all of them. We were so glad you were able to reschedule our hike to The Path of Gods since it was cancelled on our scheduled day. This was another one of our favorite activities, especially having lunch at the old farmhouse. My husband and I appreciated all the work you put into arranging this trip for us. We definitely recommend Asimina Tours for your next trip.

Fantastic experience: We would absolutely book another trip with Asimina Tours! Stella was excellent to work with. She laid out our trip from start to finish and provided an entire list of things to be mindful of once we arrived in Greece. She made it very easy for us during our travel, having drivers take us to and from the airports. Each driver was polite and helpful, even pointing out things on our drive and providing some history of the country. Milos was our favorite stop! Absolutely beautiful, and you have to stop at O Hamos! for dinner. So many unique beaches and fishing villages to visit. The Milos Breeze Boutique Hotel that Stella selected was incredible. We were greeted right at the car and they took time to give us a tour of the hotel along with champagne as a welcome drink. They were extremely accommodating and it was the perfect romantic getaway for our honeymoon. Stella set up an awesome catamaran cruise for us with Polco Sailing that was a highlight of the trip! The people of Greece are very polite, easy to talk to, and very accommodating to visitors! There's nobody better to book a trip with when visiting Greece!

Fantastic experience: The owner of Asimina Tours, Stella, planned an amazing trip for us!! We had the best hotels with the best views. We even got upgraded to the Grand Villa Suite in Crete which was AMAZING and included our own full size pool!! We were just steps away from the beach. She suggested we rent a car in Crete which we did and visited two nearby towns where we ate lunch, shopped and sunbathed at the beach. Whenever I had questions she was a text message away. Fantastic experience: Dimitri of Asimina Tours planned a wonderful, once in a lifetime, trip for my daughter and myself; a mother/daughter trip that I had dreamed about for years.. We were finally able to make it "happen" just this past July for 10 days. Over any number of conference calls with my daughter and myself, Dimitri listened to what we were interested in, how we would like to spend our time, and the pace we would like to go. We had many questions, many call backs, any number of changes. Dimitri always had time to discuss and elaborate on anything we were unsure of. He was knowledgable, professional, and ever patient. Our Greek odyssey was just what we had hoped it to be. Our itinerary encompassing a number of guides, transfers, and accommodations all met our expectations and went smoothly. Guides were great. Fantastic experience: I contacted Asimina Tours to put together a Daddy Daughter trip to Italy and Greece. We spoke with Panos Exarchos and he asked what we liked doing and other questions and put together an outstanding itinerary for us. We visited Rome, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, and to Pisa, then went to Athens, Mykonos and Santorini! We just finished the trip and what is most important is that it exceeded our expectations! Fantastic experience: We just returned from a wonderful 10 day trip to Greece planned with Panos Exarchos from Asimina Tours. We started off with a short stay in Athens and then visited Crete, Santorini and Naxos. The trip was 100% worry free and extremely well planned. All the transfers…ferry, plane and car…. were perfect and there were no issues whatsoever. The hotels Panos chose for us were scenic and well located, and the tour guides and excursions planned were all excellent. What’s more, Panos’ advice and suggestions were all spot-on. Fantastic experience: Our trip to Greece was spectacular. Our stay in Mykonos, Greece stood out most. The hotel, customer service, friendliness of staff and people, cleanliness, excursions, availability of activities was just once in a life time amazing. The planning to include transportation was spot on and a must. So nice to come outside and transportation waiting was the BEST. I would definitely go back and use this Asimina Tours services again.

Fantastic experience: Dimitris from Asimina Tours planned an amazing 2-week trip to Italy for us. Not only was he asked to do it on pretty short notice, we had some specific dates in which we needed to fall. Every detail of the trip was planned out to the smallest detail and everything was perfectly orchestrated. We traveled to four main cities and had excursions from each of those locations. Hotel suggestions were offered for Venice, Florence and Rome. We easily selected a hotel for those locations and could not have been happier with them. They were ideally located, clean, well run and included very nice breakfasts. From Florence we were able to tour Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and the Chianti Region which provided a great overview of the Tuscany Region. Transfers, trains, private and small group tours all went like clockwork. The tour guides were all outstanding and gave us an insider's view to their cities. After Rome, we traveled to Sorrento by way of Naples. Dimitris planned additional tours for us to see surrounding cities and towns to include Pompeii, Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. Although we loved our visit to the Amalfi Coast, we were happy that Dimitris suggested that we stay in Sorrento instead. It was less crowded and offered a better value as he had indicated. The locations suggested and the side trips planned, allowed us to see a good portion of Italy during this first trip. I cannot begin to express how pleased we were with our trip from the planning process through to the experience itself. We were provided with an application on our phones that outlined our day, included links to all tickets and travel passes. The entire trip seemed so effortless for us but we know quite a bit of preparation was done by Dimitris and his team as they put together our itinerary. We will not hesitate to contact Dimitris and Asimina Tours for future travel plans. We have already made the recommendation to friends who will be using them for some upcoming travel to Greece. We historically have planned travel on our own but where feeling so overwhelmed by the time constraints that we almost did not go. Happily a good friend recommended Dimitris and his agency. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Panos planning our trip to Amalfi Coast, Italy! The transfers from Rome to Sorrento, including stops for tours along the way, tours in Amalfi Coast, and transfers back to Rome and points in between were such a help for our last minute trip to be a success. Having all of our details available in the app and updates provided daily with names of tour guides and transfers were a level of assistance that went above and beyond. Fantastic experience: Fantastic trip to Sicily. We chose to have a driver take us around the island since we ended up visit 10+ towns and cities. Met local guides in most places except where easy to get around ourselves. However we only stayed in four towns so packing, unpacking limited. This way we could relax and enjoy the experience. Helped with hotels and restaurants but we mostly chose ourselves in each city. Sicily is wonderful. Asima knew what they were doing and build a great itinerary.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Stella for anyone traveling to Greece. She really listened to what we were interested in - ancient sites, hiking, strollable towns, and a mix of guided experiences and time to explore on our own. She designed a perfect itinerary for us, including many sites we would not have come up with on our own. Thanks to her, traveling between islands was easy, as was getting and dropping off our rental cars. We loved the 4 hotels we stayed at in our 2 week trip. Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend booking your trip with Panos and Asimina Tours enough! Panos planned our honeymoon, 2 weeks in Greece, and it was the trip of a lifetime. We kept saying we can't believe our honeymoon felt so luxurious. We went to Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete, and the accommodations in each locations were incredible. We've never stayed in such beautiful places, and the service at each spot was top notch. The travel in between each island was the only part that wasn't so fun (through no fault of Asimina), there were just lots of delays and crowds, but we kept hearing that this is to be expected in Greece. The one thing that we would not recommend is the group tour in Athens. We were trying to save some money by not doing a private tour, so we were booked on a 45 person tour bus. In retrospect we should have just walked around on our own. Other than that tour, every excursion that Panos booked for us was an absolute dream. The sunset cruise in Santorini was a highlight. If you are reading this and deciding which islands to go to, you HAVE to go to Crete. It was by far our favorite destination and we wish we spent more time there. 10/10 recommend Panos and Asimina Tours for your next trip!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely unbelievable experience. From the start Panos was extremely responsive and professional and helped craft the perfect 2 week honeymoon through Italy and Greece for me and my my wife. He even suggested we go to Chania, Crete which ended up being our favorite place we visited. We scheduled a tour at each stop and every tour guide was so professional. Each hotel we stayed in was amazing with friendly and helpful concierges. All of the private transfers showed up in nice cars and were on time. When you book through Asimina Tours, they have you download an app that has all your travel information on it and is separated by each day. Such an easy, seamless way to stay organized with so many moving parts. Even on free days, they have recommendations for restaurants and other things to do. We didn't even have to contact him the whole trip because everything went so smoothy. My wife and I were hesitant at the thought of a travel agent at first but after this experience, we can't believe people travel without it. Could not recommend Panos and Asimina Tours enough.

Fantastic experience: We had a phenomenal trip to Greece, that was organized and planned by Asimina Tours. We worked specifically with Panos, and I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with him. After telling him what we wanted for our "dream vacation" and listening to some of his recommendations, he planned our entire trip without us having to do a thing. Even more impressive is how all those little details and travel plans/accommodations were executed flawlessly during the week of our trip. Panos's personal knowledge of the area, restaurants, accommodations, and things to do, were really superb. All of our accommodations were not only very nice and comfortable, but he strategically put us in locations that were walkable to nearby stores/restaurants and without being overly crowded. Without his personal knowledge, we would have been overwhelmed trying to plan this trip. I give Asimina tours my HIGHEST recommendation.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I took a group of 24 professional colleagues to Rome and Florence in April of this year. Asimina Tours was highly recommended by our local travel agent at Magical Adventures Travel Co. Our travel agent had worked with this group for years and explained the need to have people on the ground in the areas we were traveling. She was so right. Maria was our representative in Rome. She met us before the rest of our group arrived and made sure we were happy with our hotel and knew how to get to the restaurants they reserved for us, etc. Maria was also in constant contact with us through WhatsApp. She sent us driver and tour guide information daily and answered any questions we had almost as soon as we sent them to her. Her service was over the top. Asimina provided wonderful assistance with their luxurious automobiles, professional drivers and on time service. Their tour guides were top notch and met us at our hotel every morning. Stefania was super energetic, knew her history and every question we threw at her, had a great sense of humor and amazed us with everything she showed us in Rome and the Vatican. We would highly recommend requesting her as your tour guide in Rome. Our tour guide who lived near Florence also did a great job describing the history and architecture of the Duomo Cathedral, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and the Accademia Museum where Michelangelo's David is displayed. If you want an exquisite explanation of the Statue of David you have to request tour guide Elisabetta through Asimina. She will explain every detail of the imperfections in David and why it is such an unbelievable piece of beauty talent. She is very passionate about the art in the museum and awe-inspiring in her descriptions. We definitely recommend Asimina Tours. Our trip couldn't have gone any better all because of their amazing service.

Fantastic experience: I can't express enough how wonderful an experience we had with Asimina Tours. We had Panos as our travel agent and he was beyond professional and so easy and fun to work with. We came at him with a challenging task: 2 weeks in Greece and Italy with only 4 months notice for 2 friends. Not only did he pull it off, he exceeded expectations and created a trip of a lifetime. Fantastic experience: I'll give my input and then let others respond if they'd like....but the one thing I can say on behalf of the four of us is - we loved it!! It went beyond our expectations especially after having talked about it for so long (I made the comment before we left that I felt like we'd already been there since we had been working on it for so long...:) However, it was absolutely better than talking about it. Here are the aspects that stood out to me: - Having someone meet us at each stop - what a relief to not have to figure out how to get wherever we needed to be in a foreign place - We like the pace of the trip with some travel/tour time balanced by some time off (we did not miss the winery tours - it was great to have down time in Crete and go shopping and wander around) Having more of those at the beginning with less at the end was good too. I would not have wanted to start in Santorini I don't think - seeing the ruins first provided a background for everything we saw - Even though Delphi and Meteora included a lot of driving, the monasteries in particular were a highlight and well worth the drive there - The hotel arrangements were fantastic - we did not know we were staying in 5 star hotels at each spot!. The Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens was fantastic, In Rethymno at the Rimondi, we each got an upgrade to a suite and in Santorini at Agali House, the other couple ended up with the 2 bedroom suite at the top of the hotel (near the reception desk) which you thought might have been booked. Our room was a totally different style at the bottom of the hill but we loved it. It was 187 steps from our place to the town street so we got our exercise but didn't do that more than once a day usually. (it would have been less steps if we had a room at the "top of the hotel" but it was still a great place. We learned the rooms were styled very differently - from modern to a US New England coast decor. - We LOVED having personal tour guides and would highly recommend them both to others. I don't know if you knew who would be assigned to us but in Athens for the Acropolis, Joanna was excellent and we were delighted to have Constantdina (not sure how her name is spelled) for all 3 tours in Crete. Her personal stories because she grew up in Rethymno and still lived there were rich and enhanced the tours. She had many insights into where to wander on our own and recommended places to eat and stores to visit - The advice you provided about tipping was essential for us to know how to respond to guides and at restaurants - The catamaran cruise was a surprise as we were the only 4 guests on the boat with 3 crew!! Other boats were loading up filled with 15-20 people and we had our own private one. We are not sure how or why that happened but it was very relaxing for both us and the crew. We only missed having sun in Santorini:( It was out for the first few hours after we arrived and then was cool, cloudy and sometimes misty/raining especially in the evenings. Not what we expected - but no control over that and a good reminder to always pack a variety of clothing (which we did) We saw a lot of people unprepared for the cooler weather. The food on the boat was delicious, too! - In fact all the food we had, either at restaurants taken to by our guides or at places on our own was better than expected As an aside, I also appreciated the pre-trip phone call with you so we could all chat rather than all the arrangements made by email. It made it more personal and your assurance of us having a great time was good to hear...I was skeptical about being able to figure out the tour guide app but it was such a great resource! We ended up not purchasing any international service for our phones so putting them on airplane mode and hooking up to the free internet at each hotel worked perfectly. Thank you, Stella, for your help in pulling this together for us. We will highly recommend you to anyone else who wants to go to Greece!

Fantastic experience: The hotel accommodations were 5 Star. All of our tours were led by an outstanding guide. The three island Saronic Gulf Cruise was breathtaking. All of our pick ups and transfers went off without a hitch. Any hiccups we had were handled immediately by Stella Gressis who went over and beyond to make sure our trip was flawless. And it was. If you go to Greece, Asimina Tours is the only way to go. I can’t bare the thought of taking my group on future trips without Stella and Asimina Tours. They are that good!

Fantastic experience: Stella with Asimina Tours created a fabulous itinerary for our October trip to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. She handled all the arrangements to include airline/ferry tickets, hotels, transfers, the local tours we selected, and provided restaurant and things to see recommendations. The hotels were wonderful and walkable to restaurants and shops. In Athens, we had an incredible view of the Acropolis from the restaurant where breakfast was served and in the evening for dinner. Our local guide for our Athens day tour was very knowledgeable and pleasant to spend the day with. At our Mykonos hotel, we could watch the beautiful sunset from the restaurant or lounging in the pool area. The half day tour of Mykonos we selected was interesting and our local guide excellent. Our Santorini hotel was a short distance to restaurants, shops, and beautiful views. We had selected a boat ride for one of our days in Santorini. In spite of overcast and a bit rainy weather that day, we had an enjoyable catamaran outing with Santorini Sailing. The captain and his mate, who was also the chef, were entertaining and informative about the areas we saw. The lunch on board was quite delicious. I really appreciated the open communication with Stella throughout our trip. She eliminated the stress of arranging trip and travel details for our group of five women. The mobile app she provided for us to use for our itinerary, tickets, travel info, messaging with her, etc. worked great. I highly recommend Stella and Asimina Tours.

Fantastic experience: Our trip to Athens and the Greek Islands was perfect from start to finish and very affordable! Asimina Tours was there with pleasant transportation and signs from the time we arrived in Athens until they flew us back there from Mykonos. In Athens ,we had a wonderful private knowledgeable tour guide for the Acropolis followed by The Foods of Greece lunch. Then we were flown by Aegean Airlines to Crete where I got to see dear relatives in Chania for the first time ever. The Venetian Harbor was wonderful to explore. We went next to Heraklion to see the Knossos ruins. The following day our chauffeur took us to the huge JET BOATS headed for Santorini. Once there, our chauffeur took us to our hotel at the top overlooking the hotels and harbor from the precipice. We had a catamaran /snorkeling tour and great lunch on board. Next, we had a lovely private tour guide for a day of exploring Santorini from one end of the island to the other. We ended with a wine tasting of their lovely wine, which we brought home to celebrate with friends. Lastly our chauffeur took us to the JET BOATS for Mykonos. Our transfer took us to our luxurious hotel with lovely amenities overlooking the Aegean Sea. Our delicious traditional Greek dinner with accompanying balalaika music at the Royal was a lovely ending to an incredible trip of a lifetime. We were flown back to Athens on Aegean Airlines in time for our flight home to Virginia. Asimina Tours was smoothly orchestrated every step of the way. Fantastic experience: All I can say is "WOW"! We are a family of 5 and love to travel. I have always been reluctant to use a travel agent because I usually plan our trips myself and have had some bad experiences with other agents. If all travel agents were like Stella from Asimina Tours, I wouldn't think twice. Everything she planned was seamless, she provided us with the "Trip Plans" app where she downloaded our daily itinerary, contact info of all the tour operators, etc. She was easy to get in touch with by messaging on the app and spends a good part of the year in Greece so she's on the same time zone if you need anything. Fantastic experience: Asimina Tours is a First Class Organization… from the initial contact... to planning our customized trip… to support during our vacation, Dimitri and the team provided a level of service and support that exceeded our expectations. The planning of our 3 week trip to Italy and Greece was made super easy by Dimitri who made suggestions and recommendations that only enhanced the overall experience. His guidance was important in maximizing our enjoyment in each venue and gave us just the right mix of touring and free time so we could experience the culture and "local color" without tiring out. Our accommodations in each locale were excellent… small 4 star, up-to-date hotels centrally located within easy walking distance to the cultural and historical sites in each city. These were just far enough away to avoid the congestion of the heavily traveled tourist areas which allowed us to feel the vibes of the individual neighborhoods. The staffing at each was excellent and made us feel welcome and at home throughout. We chose private tours and drivers. Without exception, the tour guides were on time and extremely knowledgeable about the specific sites… providing information that enhanced the visits. Drivers were prompt, professional and personable which made for our transfer from train, airport, hotels in the different cities efficient and hassle free. However, what really sets Dimitri and the Asimina team above the rest is how well they handled the unexpected. During the end of our tour, a little medical issue caused us to have to delay our return to the US. Despite time zone and distance complexities, Dimitri and the team were able to contact the necessary organizations, rearrange air travel, book a new hotel and transportation for the extended, unplanned 5 day stay… all within a few hours! This, more than anything, really defines the quality and service provided by Asimina. We hoped that this trip would be a “trip of a lifetime” and it was. I would recommend the Asimina team without reservation for anyone planning a trip to Italy, Greece or Turkey.

Fantastic experience: Panos & Asimina Tours planned the best honeymoon for me and my husband! We went to Rome, Sorrento, Athens & Santorini for a total of 12 days and the entire trip was seamlessly planned the whole way. Any time we landed in a new place or had a tour scheduled a driver was ready to pick us up. Asimina Tours had the full itinerary set up in an app that you could access without internet which was great because we didn't have cell service in Italy or Greece due to our cell phone plans. It showed any tours, transfers, or hotels planned for each day and even had our tickets as attachments in the app so we could easily pull them up. All the hotels were nice accommodations with friendly and helpful staff. Our Santorini hotel was AMAZING. The tours were also outstanding. We had a 2 hour private tour of Pompeii that was one of our favorites and a sunset Catamaran cruise in Greece that we will never forget! One of my favorite parts about the itinerary/app was that Panos provided restaurant recommendations near your hotel as well. He included a good range prices and types -- from grab something quick and cheap to fine dinning experiences. Our favorite meal was in Rome where we did a tasting menu. The app also allows you to chat Panos and the Asimina team if you need them and they were always quick to respond. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely book with Panos again for our next trip!
