Fantastic experience: Recently gained auto insurance through them and the phone call was one of the most professional conversations I've had dealing with this topic. And when a problem arose that week, customer service was on point and gave all the information I needed. Also provided paperwork when asked. Quick service, detailed explanations, and had an answer for everything. Over five years with geico and I was never treated this nice. I wish I took down both of the ladies names because they deserve to be recognized for their service.

Negative experience: I tried contacting AAA regarding an insurance policy . I was transferred 5 times and was on hold for 45 minutes. All representatives were rude especially the male receptionist at the Branford location.

Negative experience: Insured vehicle was stuck in a hit and run accident on the left front and left side quarter panel which was reported to police and AAA insurance wanted me to pay two deductibles for the same claim because there were two dents at separate locations. Steer far away from this company for any of your insurance needs!

Positive experience: Visited on a Friday afternoon. Was surprised that there was no wait. Easily got my map of Scotland and was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I am always pleased with my experiences at AAA. Of course, it's great when you need a tow or other roadside emergency. Most of the time I use it to get tour books and maps, which I have always found very useful. We don't always plan ahead and like to drive around and pick a place to stay pretty much at the last minute. We always carry the tour book to help us find something. We've been happy members for many many years.

Negative experience: Horrible system they have instituted. You now must be a member to be waited on promptly. They have two lines - one for members and one for non-members. After waiting 35 minutes in line several members came in and promptly were waited on before the rest of us. You are basically held captive, you can wait hours and hours - if a member comes in right before your turn you wait again. I left. If you're not a AAA member don't bother. It's not enough that they charge us extra for the service - we must now be treated as second class citizens - unless of course you decide to join - then you're moved up in line. Outrageous!

Negative experience: Here when the door opens all of a sudden because we are not members we are in a separate line and Every time another member comes in we have to allow them to go first. I thought the class system was gone in America this is digusting!##!!!!

I just completed a trip out to the horse country of Virginia...And stopped to get a Trip Book from AAA. I thought that I was going to go one way, but Randy at AAA told me there was construction, and the papal visit to be aware of... He re-routed me, and other than I-95 road work...the rest of the trip was a breeze, and his directions pinpointed my destination to a tee! Perfect! Thank you...

Fantastic experience: I went in for AAA membership. Tina assisted me and it was an extremely easy procedure. She was so helpful and professional. We are all so busy with errands everyday and this was a pleasant surprise to encounter with speed of service and so much knowledge with their product. I highly recommend Branford AAA Office and look forward to purchase movie tickets and more with a discount!!

Fantastic experience: My Grandparents took me to compete in the State Games of America in Nebraska. We wanted to drive so we went to AAA. They gave us maps to where we wanted to go, a Trip Tix and a guide book. They were very friendly and helpful. Not to mention many discounts at Hotels we stayed at and car rental. It was great.

Fantastic experience: I went there last week with my husband so he could renew his license. Staff was so friendly and courteous! There was no line and we were in and out in no time!

Fantastic experience: This AAA office has always been a pleasure to deal with and recently they accommodated a last minute request to change my name on driver's license so that it matched all my other legal documents and allowed me to register my new car. Arriving 15 minutes before closing, they graciously got it done and DMV updated in time for my return to the dealer that day ! Thank you AAA Branford!

Fantastic experience: Who would have anything bad to say about AAA? I've been a long-time member. Their DMV services are far more convenient than the DMV and for everything else there is never a line.

Fantastic experience: I visited the AAA in Branford to renew my road assistance. Randy, the young man who helped me couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! He even looked something up for someone in a different county to help us out, explaining every step as we went along. I left feeling very satisfied with the way my renewal was handled plus I got tour books for future trips!

Negative experience: I went to AAA in Branford for a passport renewal applicaiton and a photo. I was given an applicaiton form and they took my picture. WhenI went home to fill out the application, it didn't make sense and my picture was awful. So I then went to the local library which I heard helped with passport applications. they wer very helpful. AAA had given me an applicaiton for a new passport,not a renewal. They helped me complete the application and showed me where to send it. They also agreed that my photo was awful and sent me to a local pharmacy which they redcommended for passport photos. With the help of the local library, I was able to submit my application for passport renewal. As for Branford AAA in this instance, on a scale of 1 to 10, I rate them Zero.

Fantastic experience: Went to AAA in Branford to get a passport photo . I was greeted as I entered and the associate who greeted me took care of taking and printing the passport photo . The associate was quick , personable and professional .

Negative experience: 4/16/15. These people were extremely rude. They showed very little respect to a person who didn't understand English very well and another worker was very unclear with the directions she told me when I was filling out a form. She then snapped at me and pulled the form out of my hands and filled out the form for me. Bottom line, I guess if you act like an idiot and ask for clearer directions they will just do things for you.

Fantastic experience: I've been a AAA member for many years now and I always get great service at the Branford location. Just went in for a driver's license renewal - easiest one ever! Not sure why I didn't get it renewed there last time instead of at DMV! The staff in Branford are always helpful and the man who helped me this time was as friendly and helpful as could be!

Fantastic experience: Recently visited this location to get some currency for an upcoming trip. Service was outstanding I would greatly recommend using this office or others like this to answer a bunch of issues related to international travel: currency, travel guides, laguage handbooks, etc.

Fantastic experience: I renewed my verified driver's license after only a brief wait. Also had passport photos taken at the same visit. Everything happened efficiently and with minimum waiting, and the photos were free (I have an AAA-Premier Membership).

Positive experience: Went to renew my license. Clerk was very nice, but spelled my name wrong. When I went back to have it corrected they charged me an extra $30 for their mistake. I will not be going back to AAA for my license renewal, even if the lines are long at DMV.

Negative experience: I have been trying to get a replacement gold card since 1/31/15. Getting nothing but the runaround from the staff in the Branford,Ct Branch.I finally had to call National Headquarters in Florida. The staff in Branford apparently know nothing about customer service. I have been a member of AAA since 1982.... They have no trouble taking my dues for the last 33 years. They have received the last $88.00 donation from me. I get offers all the time from auto clubs. Time for a change. Great job Branford Ct staff!!! Nicholas M Schaivone, Sr.
