Fantastic experience: Staff was courteous and efficient

Negative experience: went in because my engine light had been on for about a week or so and my car started surging while driving, and wanted to see what was wrong and if they could fix it. by the time i managed to make an appointment and bring it in, the engine light had gone off, but the car was still acting up and i told the lady at the desk just that. got a call about 2/3 hours later saying that my car was ready for pick up, and that the tech had driven my car for a bit and didn’t notice anything and that because the light wasn’t on they couldn’t really do anything. was charged $150 just for that! Plus when the guy called me he said that my back wiper was broke and so was one of my license light, and if i wanted them to fix that plus a realignment, it would be $300 more! i can go buy a license bulb ($7) and a rear wiper ($13) at any local auto parts store and fix those myself, total BS

Fantastic experience: I took my car in on a Friday morning and they were able to troubleshoot what was going on with my car. I was pleased with the service and their ability to get my car back to me in time to go to work Monday morning. I didn't have an appointment, so I was ecstatic that it was ready before closing on Saturday. Definitely recommend AAA for service and repair work. By the way, I'm not a member of AAA. Thanks again for a great experience with you AAA!

Lost a lot of money with them and just get treated rude update : they respond with an email below that tells me to call a phone number that is just a recording with no one that calls me back

Fantastic experience: I have had service done on my vehicles at various shops all over town. From small mom & pop shops to Belle Tire and several Tire Man shops. This AAA center is by far the best auto service experience I have ever had. The service advisor, manager and lead technician are the absolute best in the business. I was impressed by their transparency and willingness to meet my needs. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: Always dependable in providing the service I need

Negative experience: Was told my tow would contact me within 20 minutes with time estimate. Over an hour later, I had to call the automated service to see that time frame was for 3 hours later (I’m wrecked on the side of I75). They had told me on the phone it should be within 60 minutes. Three hours later would have been 7:15. They called after 11 to inform me of a delay. I will always pay the extra to get my car off of the side of the freeway. State highway patrol will not let you leave your car on the side of the road. Signing up for membership was a waste of time and money today.

Negative experience: After 4 visits to fix a check engine light and an 800 dollar repair the car is now idling roughly which it didn't do before the repair. Also had a bad experience with a battery. Won't go back

Positive experience: While the service was quick and prompt, I'm a little angry that the cashier refused to honor my $15 off oil change coupon. I still had time left on my oil, but decided to schedule the change to take advantage of the coupon. I might reconsidering taking my car here for oil changed in the future.

Positive experience: They do good work however the car repair service lady (id rather not use names) has a rude and condescending tone to her voice. I'm not sure if it's intentional but it bothers me and my girlfriend enough that we won't be back.

Negative experience: After my first incident with them telling me they can’t drive my car because it had low fuel, they then wrote my gas less than what my car was reading and even the photo they took showed how much gas it had. I go back for an oil change and back brakes, they didn’t even do my brakes like asked and then they rescheduled me for my brakes the following week which was today. They also kept my car from 10 am to almost 4pm when they said the car was ready. They gave me a discount today on the brakes after they up charged all the prices, I have my original paper with the price and lied to my face about it! NEVER again will I recommend this place after using them for over TEN YEARS.

Negative experience: Not the Tire Auto Service. The actual AAA Central Ave. store. The phone system is totally a mess and no one answers the phone. New phone system more than sucks. No customer service and I do not plan on renewing my membership when it expires. Zero Stars should be an option.

Negative experience: EDIT: Removed my original rating and review because I have to go back, due to my brand new tire leaking air. Not only that, they tell me they're busy and might not be able to get it done. No, that's not how it works, you fix your mistakes first. When I called for an update, I was told the same thing, that they "might" get to me today. Not at all impressed, won't be going back

Fantastic experience: My steering wheel indicator light went on and I could hardly turn my wheel. I called them immediately and spoke to Jack, the manager. He told me if I could get my vehicle to the shop, to do so immediately. Jack is very honest and upfront. He informed what the potential prognosis might be. The cost was going to be high and the timing to repair, long. I left very concerned and upset. We spoke later in the day and somehow the issue was not present. Again, Jack was so helpful. He told me things to monitor and also gave me more information about the problem that he personally took time to research. As a single woman, I have so much gratitude for Jack and the way he handled the situation. He made me feel reassured and conveyed a sincere concern about my problem. In these times, it’s a rare find to have the sense a genuine person who is truly concerned about providing exceptional customer care and service. I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Was directed here after my tire supplier recommended them. They were able to fit me into their schedule quickly and I was off with my new tires! Admittedly - there was a minor issue with the installation but the team was quick to respond and the correction was done the next day. Very happy with the service and the waiting area is definitely better than the other options in the area. Thanks to John, Jack and team!

Negative experience: Tried to get an alignment on my Dodge Journey. My husband went in and the sales lady, Barb, told my husband that we were outside our warranty from our previous alignment. That was fine, my steering wheel is crooked and we needed another one. She went on a rant about how its recommended to get 2 alignments a year and we were outside the warranty. It was again addressed that we wanted to purchase another alignment, but she would not ring him up. We then left and will not be back.

Negative experience: This place is always trying to get over on people. Took my car in before a vacation supposedly got my fuilds checked on the way back my car started to show signs the fuilds were not checked. Gave them benefit of the doubt maybe they over looked it. Gave them another shot called a day before for oil change and a tune up didn’t even put me on the schedule then tried to give me an outrageous price

My car literally died on me and was at a shop that was givin me a ridiculous price and time frame for my repairs. I've never been here before but decided to give them a call and Jack answered and listened to my problem and was able to give me an amazing quote. Now, I was stuck at home with the kids but I was able to have my car towed and delivered here AND have alll my repairs done within a few hours! I am so pleased with the ease of such a stressful situation. My husband and I plan on returning for all our future needs!! Thank you much again Jack. You guys are awesome!

I have NEVER been treated the way this guy, Jack treated me when I had to bring my car back in for the same reason I had it there 3 weeks before. $850.00 and steering went out again in 3 weeks. I won't go through what he was saying and how he was behaving. Too much! Just know that a person in customer service should Never treat anyone the way he treated me! It was scandilous! I've never posted anything like this! Never. Someone needs to do something! Don't know what to do??

Their diagnosis of the car problem was spot on as well- a local dealership failed to fix it properly which is why it was towed there in the first place. Thank AAA for all your help and patience and truly representing AAA as a company that is there to help the customer when in need on the road. Their kindness and knowledge was extremely helpful.

Negative experience: I am extremely unsatisfied with the treatment I received today, I called to find out about a battery recharge for my vehicle and was greeted with attitude and hostility. First, unfortunately the phone number on Google for the Sylvania branch AAA is apparently linked to a calling service not to the branch itself, and the woman who "helped" me placed me on hold for 20 minutes because when was trying to transfer me to the correct address after arguing with me for 10 minutes about why I was calling. Second, I ended up ending the call and looking farther for the correct phone number and spoke with Shaun. Now Shaun and I only had a brief conversation but in that time he made it very well known that my business was unwanted at this time. Infact when I asked about coming in for a battery recharge I wasn't told "yes, we'll see what we can do." Or "let's schedule an appointment because we are currently all booked up." After being told that I couldn't be helped without having any kind of recommendation I am now going to be contacting Bob summeral and reporting this severe lack of customer service, considering not renewing my membership, and will no longer be recommending AAA to other people. I hope that other members get better service in the future

Fantastic experience: Had a flat tire on my SUV, and called AAA. The driver, Carl, was fantastic. Was at my house in about 30 minutes, and had the tire changed in about 10 minutes. I am happy to say that I have been a member for 47 years. Now I know why, worth every penny.
