Fantastic experience: I went in to get my international driver's license and was really surprised to find an actual store there with all sorts of travel items! Very nice, helpful staff and beautiful, clean, and well organized store.

Negative experience: A total waste of time to get auto insurance here as new customer.....I lost interest because no option but to get high price thing.

Fantastic experience: Two days ago, I had a bad situation - a totally dead Suburu in the garage. Garage is 90 degrees to the driveway. Johnny, the driver had to get the Outback out of the garage, with locked steering, turn it and get it on his truck. Very patient; very clever. No damage to garage or car. Haven't used AAA services in many years but was very glad I had it.

Negative experience: 6/4/24- 7p.m.. They told me I had to wait over 3-1/2 hours to tow my Motorcycle from Boise to Meridian while I was stranded with my Grandson so one of only two of there drivers on duty could have lunch. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Fantastic experience: Had vehicle issues, called AAA, and 15 minutes later my car was hooked up and off to the shop. Brendan, the driver, was great…. Professional, and efficient!

Negative experience: I have no idea why I have AAA here in Idaho when I was stuck in a snowdrift all day to do was tell my car to the side of the road they wouldn't even take my car to an address or repair shop plus they don't offer DMV services so why am I a member? Well I signed up in California and they helped me in so many ways via the DMV via towing and awesome customer service but if you're in Idaho forget it you do not need it!

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I would. I called for a battery jump and they told me the guy would be here in an hour. I called at an hour and asked for an ETA, they said it was on the board for 12:05, which was in 10 minutes, so I waited and called again at 12:10 and at 12:35 and then I was told he wouldn't be out for another 45 minutes. I called someone else and they were here in 10 minutes. They AAA guy did show up about 45 minutes later and he said he told Susan that it would be over 2 hours. This wasn't a failure in service from the technician this was a failure of AAA. Had I been told it would take almost 3 hours, I would have had someone else out right away and made my meeting. I should have been given the correct arrival time. I was going to give AAA to my 3 kids but I will not be giving them AAA after this experience.

Fantastic experience: Thank God for AAA!! I got about 20 miles outside Boise in the middle of Boise/Mountain Home and got a flat tire in a rental jeep. (who's tires weigh as much as I do) They came to help me, and I was so thankful!

Fantastic experience: I had my Classic mustang towed this a.m. and my tow truck driver was the best ever. Daniel Salazar Technician # 7905 went above and beyond to make sure my car was well taken care of and did not get scraped or scratches! I highly recommend him if you ever need a tow!!

Fantastic experience: I discovered this location when I needed to obtain an international drivers permit for our vacation to Spain. Everyone was so helpful, that I purchased a membership from my wife, myself and my daughter. It is very convenient for changing dollars for euro. They do this in increments of €100, for a maximum of €200 per day.

Positive experience: In and out, was super easy to get international drivers licenses here. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: The employee that helped us over the phone (Emily) was extremely rude and condescending. A little compassion would have been appreciated when I was in such a stressful situation. I hope I never have to speak to an employee like that again.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly, VERY fast and efficient. Went in for passport photos and I was probably in the building for 4 minutes and got everything I needed. They also have great travel wallets and products.

Negative experience: Had to wait literally 2-hours for road side assistance to jump my car just off veterans and Adams street because the Boise company that AAA contracts with doesn’t accept calls after 6:00pm. I was informed of this by the Nampa mechanic/towing service when then finally got there to jump my car. Hopefully you don’t need help after 6 or you have several hours to waste cause AAA is not your solution. However I am grateful that the Nampa mechanic was kind and professional and I only have good things to say about them.

Negative experience: They take your premium for travel insurance but will not pay when you have a claim. All while Allianz the isurance they broker for states on their web page how profitable they are. Of cource they are profitable, They offer no service and blame the carrier if there is a lost bag. I have been working over 4 months with Linda and she told me not to confuse the airline. It might slow down things.

Positive experience: Sparse inside, truth be told. Renovation is in process, and it appears that efficient (though IMHO sterile) cubicles are going to characterize the place. It may liven up after the office again becomes populated by fun personalities ... but it would take a ton of vivacious helpers to draw me to seek help there, and advice. I'm afraid I would rather do travel things for myself, online -- it's less barren-feeling in my own home. And take a retiree's long, hard look at the AAA towing benefit.

Negative experience: If you need Insurance either find another AAA office or go with another company. I got stuck with Rob Dorion for the second time on a policy I needed. The first was a renters policy. At that time I found him to be unresponsive, and difficult to work with. When I needed to change my insurance policy from another state to Idaho the process was 10 times worse. I got stuck with the same agent based I guess on where I live. He is difficult to work with only wants to respond through email and tries to get you off the phone as quick as possible. I don't like doing business through email. I week after purchasing my policy I had to call the 800 line and I spent 53 minutes on the line with another agent trying to fix his screw ups. If I need any other insurance I will change companies for all of it. If you call and they transfer you to Rob Dorion I suggest you hang up and call another company.

Negative experience: AAA used to be a great business and a service. Now it is like all other businesses and make it difficult to deal with. My mother in law who is 88 bought a battery ($181) less than 2 years ago and it has died and may have a leak. We have her car in Idaho, because she was moved to Montana because she is compromised and would have dire consequences. Since she is not with the car AAA will not honor the warranty even if we get her on the phone and have a copy of her DL and AAA card. Now we need to purchase another battery so the car can work. AAA has lost it's integrity and it is time to start looking for a new roadside assistance company. The customer service person was rude and would not give any suggestion to working this out. They should just be called A!

Fantastic experience: I was the literal damsel in distress. Flat tire and no spare. AAA came to my rescue again. Very prompt, courteous, wonderful driver. I didn't get the name of the driver but if he is the one who towed my car from Salmon Creek 10-2-19 at about 9 pm I wish to thank you very much. You made a night that could have been the end of a hard day something that makes me feel better about human kind. I do thank you!

Fantastic experience: Set up appt. With my agent to change from one company to another as it is going to save me $110.00 per month. My agent has everything ready for me and took about 30 minutes and I was walking out the door with new policy from AAA auto insurance and I'm a happy camper. Service is great, you get greeted with a smile and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Definitely a place for people to check out.
