Fantastic experience: Me and my brother-in-law fished the South Fork of the Snake River on 08-22-2024 with our guide Skylar. We have fished in Colorado, Montana, and Tennessee, and this trip was by far the best. We are not close to being good at fly fishing but we caught clost 20 fish and probably missed or lost at least that many. Skylar was a perfect guide for us. He was very easy going, patient, easy to talk with and worked his tail off getting us onto fish. If I get another chance to fish up here I will be calling Worldcast Anglers. Mike Smith

Fantastic experience: After participating in World Cast Anglers guide school ten years ago, I knew I had to take my buddy on WCA's South Fork Hilton float trip. Two days of fishing the South Fork of the Snake River Canyon hooking many browns, cutties, bows, and huge Rocky Mountain bonefish. One night of luxury glamping and fine food. Exceptional guides and chef. A chance to make new friends around the campfire. Wildlife up the ying-yang. Great memories made.

Fantastic experience: WorldCast is the best. I fished with Joe today on just an incredible piece of water. The true measure of a guide is how well you and they work as a team. Yes, fly fishing from a boat is a team exercise. WC Guides are always the best!

Fantastic experience: We had a guided trip on the South Fork with Heather through WorldCast. She was a fine guide who put us on fish and steadily worked to improve our skills without being bossy or a jerk. However, the one thing she did that stood out from every guided trip I have ever taken was so simple and necessary. She went through safety measures and locations of all safety gear such as pfd’s right as we got on river. Never before! I was most impressed! Fish matter little if a tragedy occurs.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a fantastic experience with WorldCast Anglers last week on the Snake River in Wyoming. We were guided by Marcelo as we drifted south of Hoback. Both my wife and I are extreme novices when it comes to fly fishing and Marcelo was a great teacher and very patient with us both as we fished all day. He guided us to great parts of the river where we were able to get into what seemed like constant fish. We were able to catch some beautiful Snake River cutthroat and my wife caught an impressive cutthroat.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing day with Jackson floating the South Fork. He was great with me as an experienced angler, and so easy for my girlfriend, a beginner, to understand. She caught more fish than I did!! Jackson was extremely knowledgeable about the ecosystem and fun to chat with. We loved seeing the river from the view of someone who grew up fishing it! If you are fishing with World Cast, fish with Jackson!

Fantastic experience: I'm giving this a 5 star review because of the wonderful time we had on this float trip. Our guide was Joey Maxim and he was excellent. My fishing companion had never held a fly rod before and Joey had him catching fish on the fly literally 10 minutes after we got on the water. Having an experienced guide makes all the difference in the world and Joey knows the river like the back of his hand. His knowledge of the art of fly fishing combined with his skill of putting you in the best fishing spots is amazing. Definitely will do this trip again.

Fantastic experience: My son and I took a day long fly fishing trip while visiting the area. You should definitely put that on your list of to do’s when visiting Teton Valley. Very friendly, easy going folks that make sure that your day goes well. Yes it’s a little expensive on the surface but their price includes transportation to the river, lunch, gear and a guide for the day. Spend your money on experiences like this vs souvenirs in Jackson. They will last a lot longer.

Fantastic experience: Came to Idaho for a fly fishing trip with my friends. We came here to get kitted and get some advice on where to go. We spoke to Tyler and he was incredibly helpful and gave us tons of good advice and got us set up for a very good price. Highly recommend stopping by here if you want to have a good time fishing.

Fantastic experience: We enjoyed two great days fishing on the South Fork of the Snake River with Brenda Swinney. Brenda is incredibly knowledgeable about the river and did a terrific job directing my husband and me to the perfect spots for our flies. We caught five species of beautiful fish and Brenda pointed out bald eagles, osprey diving for fish, and even a moose swimming laps back and forth across the river! The lunches were great and the scenery unbeatable! This was our fourth season fishing here and we'll be back with Brenda next year.

Fantastic experience: I was in a party of four in two boats for two days on the Snake River. Craig, Mike and Joey were our guides; each provided expert instructions knowledge of the river and maximized our opportunity to hook fish. Even as a somewhat experienced fly fisherman, it is good to have professional guides to help choose the appropriate fly (with local up to date knowledge), provide reminders of fly fishing basics and safely maneuver the boat down the river. My mid-August float with my dad, son and a college buddy was the best fishing trip I have had in years!

Fantastic experience: We always stop in Victor to see the World Cast crew when we’re fishing in the area! The shop is well stocked with everything you need to fish Idaho and Wyoming waters, and the fly selection is one of the best I’ve ever seen. The guys in the shop are full of helpful info, advice on fly selections & great with equipment suggestions. Sometimes it’s tough to walk into a shop as a chick and feel that I’m getting the best service and World Cast is always a welcoming place to visit. Got a great pair of Sims wading boots and some other apparel items that I’m very happy with. Highly recommend planning a visit if you’re in the area.

Mike, Pryor, Lyons, Hunter, Dalton, Cole and everyone else who helps run the shop are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. You certainly cannot go to many other places and find an atmosphere and a culture like that of the one that the shop staff have created here. These guys will help put you on fish hands down.

Fantastic experience: First off wanted to start out by saying this is the best shop in the valley to get all of your fly fishing and angler needs. Fantastic experience: Kevin Emery could be a kindergarten teacher, that's how patient he is! He didn't treat me like I was clueless (which I was!) and even though he had to repeat himself many, many times, his corrections were just as patient and gentle as the first time. He was enjoyable and interesting to talk to and that is important when you're spending an entire day with someone. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic experience: Nan and I were the first clients of season 2021 to make the South Fork Hilton over night trip. The meals, camp fire, and sleeping arrangements were great. It was amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great fishing while floating through some beautiful landscape. The goal is to catch more fish than the eagles you see. We received the WorldCast Anglers "attaboy" from Hope Strong (our guide) for catching the South Fork Slam which was the experience of catching a Whitefish, Rainbow, Coutthroat, Cutbow, and Brown Trout on this trip. All together we caught 54 fish and my advice to other clients is - Don't be a dope, ask for Hope! Looking forward to out next adventure with WorldCast Anglers!

Fantastic experience: George Fallon was an outstanding guide! He was patient with younger an more "experienced" anglers. Young, but don't let his age fool you. He is very knowledgeable on the latest of everything fishing-related. He put us on fish all day long.

We had no idea how to flyfish and this dude made us look like experts, he took the time to teach us and even gave us major pointers to help land some good ones. Lunch was awesome, great sandwiches and epic views! The funnest was learning how to dry-fly and the great and funny conversations we had as we were slaying away at the fish. Fantastic experience: I honestly cannot day enough good things about this guide service/outfitter. Spent 5 days on the water with their guides, Mike Janssen, Will Ezell, Joe Harris, Erik White (2x) and all of them exceeded my expectations. They are all super “fishy” and know where to find fish. They run a tight ship and meet you early and put in a full day on the water with you. Definitely will book another trip with them next year.

Fantastic experience: My fiancé and I had always wanted to learn how to fly fish, so on our road trip across Idaho to Yellowstone we were looking for a guided trip that wouldn’t break the bank. We were nervous about our lack of experience fishing, but our guide Cliff had us reeling fish in within minutes on the water. Cliff was so patient with us throughout the day as I’m sure my fiancé and I were doing many things that would frustrate an expert fisherman. We truly had one of the best days of our life on the water, and it’s something we will remember forever. The views surrounding the river are incredible, but we were too busy reeling in fish to truly soak them in. I never leave reviews online, but after a day on the water with Cliff, I felt compelled to share my experience to encourage others to book a fly fishing trip with WorldCast Anglers.

Fantastic experience: I had one of the best days of my life on the Snake River, I'm so glad your team was able to suggest a path that got us on the fish. It was literally one after the other, and it made my special vacation with my dad so memorable. We fished in early October on the Idaho side. The geography was gorgeous, we saw bald eagles, blue herons, and I caught the grand slam of fish species (rainbows, browns, cut-throats, whitefish) Tim Watters was really awesome, he knew the terrain, the water, and was a kind and generous person. The lunch was great and we even were able to catch fish while anchored, eating our sandwiches! This has raised the bar for any other guide experience we'll have in the future.

Negative experience: Worst fly shop in the valley! I would recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Horrible customer service. The guys in there are about as knowledgeable as slugs. I recommend going to TRR or anywhere else. Get off your high horses!

Fantastic experience: I booked with WCA about 3-4 weeks before going to Victor ID on a family vacation. I spoke with Chris on the phone, told him about my fly fishing experience, strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He recommended a full day float trip on the lower Snake River based on time of year and my fly fishing abilities. I met my guide, Jesse the morning of the trip and we hit it off fairly quickly during the drive to the river. On the water Jesse had me make a few casts to determine my ability, gave me a couple tips for better casting, and I had a fish on my 4th cast! The winds rose to 45mph in the canyon that day and Jesse worked extremely hard to keep me in good casting position. I landed 15+ fish that day and lost a few more. Most of the other guides/anglers we saw at the take-out ramp were talking about landing 5-10 fish even with 2 anglers aboard. Jesse's work on the oars and his intuition to change from dry flies (which were working, but very hard to cast in the wind) to nymphs made all the difference and gave me a very memorable and exciting day!

Fantastic experience: I did an overnight float trip with some friends and stayed at " The Hilton" camp. It was one of the best and most memorable experiences ever. The service provided by their guides is above and beyond. Everything was perfect.

Fantastic experience: Kevin Emery was our guide and he made our day long fly fishing experience the GREATEST! The South Bend trout fishing was great and the World Cast Staff helped make this a super adventure. Well worth the cost!
