Fantastic experience: Love AAA, has it for years now. The bend office is very nice and the people there were so helpful.

Negative experience: I have been a loyal customer since I became a driver over 10 years ago. I was very happy with their services until I signed my fiance up for a membership today. He is having engine issues and needs to be towed, so I got him the middle-tier membership so he can get towed from Redmond to Bend. He called to schedule the tow and they said they can't help him for 48 hours, unless we pay ANOTHER membership fee for instant service. I called to see if anyone could help us work around this issue as I have been with AAA for a long time and a snow storm is expected to hit this afternoon so I can't make it up to Redmond safely in my vehicle. I was basically told that I failed to read the "fine print" and there is nothing they can do for me. I am so disappointed and feel like my commitment to this business for so many years was completely disregarded.

Fantastic experience: Didn't know I could have such a great experience at AAA! Such a nice new building, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. While they were quick to help me I lingered around chatting and enjoying a complimentary cup of coffee. Will definitely be checking with AAA for all my travel needs moving forward!

Fantastic experience: Smooth pickup, Kevin Hall came over was extremely friendly and took my old car I was giving over to the insurance company for claim payment with zero hassle.

Negative experience: I have been a member of AAA for over 20 years and felt safe having them as my backup, especially on vacation. I locked my keys in my car last night and was told it was a 1 hour wait, never got any text updates so called back in an hour and told that there was only 1 tow truck driver and he couldn't take the call so they would try a locksmith, then was inadvertently hung up on, called back 2 more times and told 'working on it, sorry we have a new system'. Never an update... finally had my teenage son jog 4 miles in the dark to bring me spare keys... really a scary situation to be left stranded in an unfamiliar city. Apparently 24 hour assistance is untrue...

Fantastic experience: I stopped by AAA first thing in the morning to get an international driving permit. They open at 8:30 and I was there at 8:30. They were not quite ready to do business but everyone was super welcoming and made me feel they were glad I was there. Once they were ready they processed my paperwork super fast. Thank you very much.

Negative experience: You should see where the money u spend a on this because they are spending a lot of money seuing small business over the name aaa when there is 1000 of business with that name. They are wasting ur money and are paying the tow companies less then half what you would pay for a tow. Big corporation trying to take over our nation

Negative experience: AAA used to have way better customer service. There insurance plans used to be better as well. They have cut out many valuable RV services, travel services and one can hardly get anyone to respond to travel help questions or situations.

Negative experience: Called for a tow at 7:30, told me about a hour. Hour later called to push out another hour. Texted a specific time that was already passed. Called the tow company. To ask about the passed time and told by them another 40 min to a hour. So not 1houe but 3.

Negative experience: Omg... Usually I'd have nothing but positive things to say about AAA all around. Had them for about 10 years. But this last time I needed roadside service...... Was so irritating and embarrassing. I was told I couldn't get a tow to my mechanic in redmond because it was to far. Yet it was only 13 miles away, and where they would tow it was back to my house which was 8 miles away. And what alot of good that did since I broke down in the first place. THEN it took them almost 4 hours to tow it, even know the tow truck driver said he had only 1 other call in the previous 24 hour period. Not happy this time.

Negative experience: Called AAA to renew my membership which I let lapse, needed a tow and was told I had to pay membership fee plus $75 for service today which I agreed. Then I was told that they wouldn't come tow me cause I lived 20 miles outside of Bend and weather was a factor. Roads are dry and no snow forecasted til later this week. Last time I will ever rely on a company that doesn't do what they are in business to do. Extremely disappointed.

Negative experience: We have had Triple A for 6 years. Today one of our vehicles broke down. My wife and I own a company. So we use our vehicle for both personal and commercial use for the business. All of our vehicles have our company logo on them. Triple A hired Abbas Towing out of terrebonne Oregon to tow our vehicle. The tow driver was rude. So he left. Worst tow company ever. During this time the Abbas Towing guy sent pictures of our truck to AAA. It has a flatbed on it. We live on a ranch and in the mountains. Everyone has a flatbed in central Oregon. I spoke to a manager at triple A his name was Mark. He informed me that Triple A had a policy that as long as you use your vehicle for personal use it’s covered. So triple A hired Trac towing out of Bend Oregon to tow my flatbed. After the tow company showes up. They said AAA won’t cover this tow because it’s a company vehicle. So I had to pay out of pocket $350.00 This company is horrible, they scam you out of your annual fee. Then make up the rules as they go along so they don’t have to cover anything! I have checked into Goodsam travel club. They have a better policy and way cheaper. Been around longer than triple A….. do not use this company, go to good Sam much more professional and honest!!

Negative experience: On 5 26 of 21 at 12:58 p.m. my wife broke down and called Triple A in bend at 3:47 I arrive to a Very upset wife she was still there and very mad She had called 4 More times and was stuck in the heat at that time I called CONSOLIDATED TOWING direct, 15 minutes later we had a truck taking her car to the shop, I am thinking about canceling my Triple A +RV that I have had 15 years, I am one unhappy man the service gone down hill And prices up

Fantastic experience: I have enjoyed my relationship with AAA for over 40 years. Now, however, I have to leave. My doctor informed me that my reaction time behind the wheel is compromised and I suffer from peripheral neuropathy. I recommend AAA for all active drivers; as well as, because they sponsor several drag strips and John Force Funny Cars.

Negative experience: I went through the process of getting my international driver license here and it was something to remember. 1st off, the passport picture I brought in was not a "high enough quality" for this document. Fair enough. So I got an even higher quality picture and that worked for the already rude front desk lady. When my international license was finally ready, what AAA gave me looked like something a 3rd grader made up. My picture was just glued to some folded up construction paper with a bunch of made up non-since on it. I mentioned the poor quality to the lady and she assured me that this AAA license is a federal document. I just went with it. When I got to the Bahamas and showed the rental place my license they laughed and said no way that is real. Moral of the story people, YOU DONT NEED A AAA INTERNATIONAL DRIVER LICANCE. Just show your normal license when your out of country and don't fall for this money grab scam. I kept mine for a conversation piece.

Then I went to a "cruise showcase" and discovered the amazing services available to their customers. I am extremely happy that I'm able to deal with a local agent for my travel needs. Both Marah and Bobbie are very skilled at their jobs. It's obvious they look out for my best interest as their client. They find the best deals and work hard to save me time and energy both in making the necessary reservations and making sure my travel will go smoothly when I take my trip. They also give important tips and tricks to help make things easier. I know I will exclusively count on this fabulous team for any of my future travel.

Negative experience: Not the friendliest people in the Bend office. We've been AAA members for several years, sponsor all our kids memberships and we have always had fairly good service. Stopped in Bend office for info and the folks there were cold and very unfriendly. Not one person smiled and I am pretty sure they faked calling cooperate about our question.

Negative experience: Had a go through a major headache with after finding out my auto policy was cancelled at the beginning of the year and way still paying auto insurance. Thankfully, someone in Portland helped me with a very simple issue and now has my business for my car and the home I will be purchasing next month. I have never been a person to do post reviews but being a member and my family for 10+ yrs with AAA i have never had my wheels spinned so bad with terrible customer service.

Negative experience: Absolute WORST insurance company. I have called NUMEROUS times and left messages with my agent, as well as with the receptionist. I have been calling for the last 7 days to make changes to my policy. NOW I have cancelled due to the unprofessional conduct that has come from my agent. I do not recommend ANYBODY to this agency. I saved $1500 A YEAR BY SWITCHING INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!!! Word to the wise, your clients are what keep you employed. Keep this up and you wont have any left.
