Fantastic experience: Service was good and quick. Love the trip tik. It helped a little, but I think the mark on the map was confusing. Even with the GPS. And the map we were lost and out of the way by an hour,but with the maps help we got back on track. So hurrah for AAA! The map beat the GPS. Come to find out when we arrived at our location, the GPS got everyone lost in the city of Lubbock,Tx. Don't use GPS in Lubbock tx or Internet, doesn't work and always carry a map from AAA.
Fantastic experience: I love AAA auto insurance, best rates I could ever get, and believe me, I did my research before I signed up with this company. They have one of the best customer service, over the phone or in person, every time I need to modify my insurance, change cars or start a claim, everything was very smoothly. I’m in my 2nd year with this company and I hope I can continue my business with them.
Fantastic experience: I bought insurance from AAA for the first time in 2023. My agent was Jasso Ruthy. She is the best Auto insurance agent I have met so far. EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, ALWAYS AVAILABLE and what not. She explained me everything about the quote. And if I had to change my policy at some point, she made it easy for me. I moved to a different location and she refunded me the due without creating issue. I would recommend her if you are looking to buy insurance from AAA.

Negative experience: THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEY WERE ALWAYS VERY RUDE, AND THEIR ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE WAS HORRIBLE!!!! THEY ALWAYS TOOK 2-3 HOURS TO COME. OVERALL THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST INSURANCE I EVER BEEN WITH!!!
Fantastic experience: I have not had any issues with them over the years. they are very helpful when needed.
Negative experience: This is a horrible insurance company, my vehicle was stolen then recovered a little over a month ago and they just barely got it towed from the impound lot. They also dont want to do any repairs to my vehicle on the exterior because they are labeling it prior damage, they dont even want to check the suspension even though it looks like they took my car off roading. All they wanna fix is the busted window and stearing column. Practically had to beg them to replace my stereo that was also stolen. Will definitely be switching to a more professional insurance company after this is settled.

Negative experience: One of the worst road side assistance. On 20th Oct, i called the customer service at 12.30 PM for car lockout. The earliest arrival mentioned was 2.58 PM. When no one arrived, i called them back. At this time, they said, it'll take 2 more hours. I was within the city limit. By the way they did not even come. I got help with some and Managed to come home. Same thing happened couple of months back. I went for camping and mistakenly key was kept in the trunk and closed it. I called customer server and explained the situation. Called them at 4 PM and estimated time was at 6 PM. No one came at that night. Me and my family spent in my friends tent. Technician came next day 10 AM. We have membership and no use of it.
Negative experience: Don’t ever get your Passport picture taken here!!!!I got my passport pictures done here, due to scheduling issues I couldn’t get them done at the post office. Took the pictures to the Post Office to get my passport, the pictures didn’t fit the sizing tool. So the post office gave me a signed paper stating what was wrong with the picture so I could get a refund, and they were nice enough at the Post Office to retake my picture. Came back here and they refused to give me my money back. They provide a service mess up and refuse to fix their mistake. Unbelievable.
Negative experience: I canceled my membership and they renewed it by themselfs 2 months later im bout to go in and start a fight for my money back

Fantastic experience: Updating an existing AAA Auto Policy has been a bit complicated. Small delays occured but everything was fully explained & AAA Agent Ron rectified everything. Delighted with Ron's "Y'All Welcoming" attitude, a happy, brilliant Agent. I highly recommend him. Office Manager took time to finish off the final touches of our Policy needs. Great office, personalized service.
Negative experience: My husband called AAA to get a tow for his truck. They said 2.5 hours. 3 hours after his call he called AAA again. They canceled the tow and didn't tell him. It took a total of 8 hours for my husband to get a tow from a remote, dark location. He didn't get home until 2 am. I am so disgusted with the customer service
Negative experience: Changing my insurance, I’m a patient person, but it’s honestly ridiculous how long it’s taken for my car to be repaired. It’s about to be more than a month, I keep calling and asking for updates and they give a set date of when my car will be fixed and ready to be picked up only for them to keep pushing it back week after week.
Negative experience: Do Not Get Insurance from this company, unless you’re prepared to pay 10% cancellation fees. AAA is a rip-off! Their customer service and membership suck. Don’t be fooled by their five star reviews, they probably wrote those reviews… STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Negative experience: AAA used Ridgeway Towing to answer my call for roadside assistance for a flat tire. I was on IH 10 in San Antonio and they could not change the tire or tow my truck. The company told AAA that my truck was stuck in the mud and they couldn’t tow it. After I called AAA back to clarify, they did not believe me and said I would not be covered because it was stuck in the mud. They did not even follow through with contacting another tow company and I did not know that until I called back. My truck would have stayed stranded if I hadn’t called back. BTW, when I called my insurance, they sent out a tow company that had no trouble taking my truck to get the tire fixed. It was in no way stuck. I’m so disappointed in AAA and their customer service. Will not recommend them.

Negative experience: What a terrible experience on phone Marisa Boonnak . They gave me the lowest quote for a month and second month I couldnt make a payment and they would not honor my quote and want me to cancel and pay cancelation fees even thou they want to break contract. What a joke! 15 years with Geico and going back...

Negative experience: No communication between the agents. Charging me for 10 year roof after they wrote me a check for a new roof.

Negative experience: Good experience using my insurance, but raised my rates astronomically. Others quoting me and I now have same coverage for 2/3...
Negative experience: Insurance rates and membership rates go up. Paying a membership bill for something I never use and finding out it went up again. I ask for a receipt and I am told they don't send receipts out. I think it is time to find another insurance company.
Fantastic experience: Great membership benefits. Get get your maps, they have a notary available. Plan your next trip, get discount tickets to parks and movies. This place has saved me several times. The staff are great and I cannot ever say how much that they came to change tires, towed my cars, and jumped a dead battery. I have used their services for almost 15 years and I will keep my membership card in my pocket.

Fantastic experience: I was helping one of my tenants from work who is deaf get insurance and they were so nice I really appreciate them taking the time to just be kind and understanding and patient I recommend this to anyone or anybody I personally don’t use AAA but I think twice when looking for insurance because this experience makes me a fan of this company I recommend it to anyone who is looking for insurance.

Negative experience: Was hit by someone with aaa Texas auto insurance. They’re claiming that since they can’t reach their insurance the claim will most likely be denied. Ridiculous service. Doesn’t take 3 weeks to get ahold of a driver.
Fantastic experience: I just called yesterday and spoke to Paula. She was extremely helpful. I purchased a home and auto policy with them. In addition to costing less than both Allstate and State Farm, the home owners policy I purchased offered a higher replacement cost and a 1 1/2% deductible that cost less than the 2% deductible plan with Allstate and State Farm. Lastly, the auto policy is less as well. Very pleased with the pricing and customer service. Hopefully I will never need to make a claim.

Negative experience: I have used them for travel a few times. Been a AAA member for over 25 years! I have called 3 times and left messages to inquire about a trip and no one has ever called me back. Very poor customer service at the Huebner location in San Antonio, TX

Negative experience: Went to AAA to get an international drivers permit. Lady behind the counter noticed my wife’s license was expiring soon after she had filled out the booklet. The lady said we would have to get a new international license when my wife’s drivers license expired. I said I didn’t want to get the license until after my wife renews her drivers license. The lady tells me I still have to pay for the international permit because she already filled out the paper book. I tell her I’m not doing that and she goes into a lecture about how I am wasting company money and resources. It’s one paper booklet. I stand my ground and she caves but when I ask for the photos back she says they have been marked with the AAA stamp and are not valid anymore. I say BS because they would have the same marking in a few weeks when I come back as they do now. Stalemate.

Negative experience: Protected identity thief who used services in the State of Georgia by refusing to give the license plate and VIN # so I could report this crime to the police. They also turned this account over to collections with the wrong address information which is now on my credit report. Refused to remove theft off my credit report and destroyed my chances of obtaining a mortgage.

Fantastic experience: I’ve tried a few companies for my insurance and it has always been so overwhelming. I felt overcharged and was never able to make sense of the details. It wasn’t until I met Paula Harold at AAA, that I felt comfortable enough to ask my questions and finally felt taken care of. She makes it so easy from beginning to end. It is no wonder why her desk is covered in so many awards. I send all of my friends & family to her and I know they are in great hands. AAA is definitely lucky to have such a great asset like Paula.

Negative experience: If you are not a member, they will push you off the side and make you wait and wait and wait.... because they have to take care their CUSTOMERS FIRST!! So rude not professional...
Fantastic experience: Paula is amazing, after years with Geico they raised my rates almost doubling my monthly payment, I was recommended to Paula and she worked miracles and has been an amazing agent. Fantastic experience: Paula made me feel like Ive known her for years, but true its, a couple of days ago I was just filing a quote online and my info was redirected to her, thats how friendly, respectful, and helpful she was. Worked with my budget and my work schedule when needing to talk. Ended up buying two insurances instead of one. Just referred my coworker. Impressive Customer Service :)

Fantastic experience: We were traveling from Corpus Christi to San Antonio. Stopped at a rest stop and found out our van was on fire. The fire was put out. AAA was called to tow our van home. They showed up in a timely manner and towed our van 60 miles. This insurance pays for itself.
