Positive experience: Location is fantastic, within walking distance of restaurants and right next to the highway. Rooms were perfectly adequate with all the amenities. My only complaint is that the walls were paper thin. I felt like I could hear everything my neighbors were doing, and they could probably hear every noise I made as well.

Positive experience: If you book online be prepared to pay extra 200 deposit. I also had another 89.25, that idk what for. So, 117.94 online +200 deposit +89.25 no reason given. = 407.19, for one night. I will update when I get my 289.25 back. Got my 289.25 deposit back next day. Just seems steep for 1 night. All good though.

Negative experience: Would NEVER stay here again!!! When we checked into the hotel the woman up front said there is an incidental fee of 2. I saw what is 2. She said $200. Excuse me?!? While I understand having an incidental fee for damages, based off of the condition of our room $200 is ridiculous! We have stayed in much nicer hotels where they don’t charge anything or once I paid $50. So now 10 minutes into our overnight we are out $200 from our budget. Plus it takes 3-5 business days to get the money back in our account. When I spoke to the gentleman at the front desk about our room and the fee he said he would talk to the GM about how the 3rd party didn’t have the fees listed. I also mentioned that I could not find it on their website either. You are not made aware of said charge until you have already booked the room online. Upon getting to our room there was a large rip in the rug, our smoke detector was not hooked up, the handle on the nightstand was broken, there was chipped paint and dust in the upper corner of the wall. The bathroom faucet handles were messed up to where you couldn’t run the cold water without turning the hot water handle all the way around, and then the cold water handle leaks when you turn it on. The tub faucet continuously runs because you can’t turn the handle enough to turn it off.

Negative experience: Booked online pd online get to the hotel they say it's booked not pd. Paid cash call the on-site number they said they have no idea why hotel would ask for payment long story short fighting for my money back customer service number says has nothing to do with them. I've heard stories ever since about the same establishment.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this hotel at all. The room smelled horrible because the person before me had smoked. I complained and they did not help me at all. I even asked the girl who greeted me if she could give me something to spray in the room, but she just spoke badly to me. I am Latina and she is brunette and I felt too much racism towards me. I hated it with all my heart.

Positive experience: 7 AM breakfast… you would think that they would have breakfast at 6:30 AM like all the other hotels, knowing knowing that people go in there to work also and they have to be at work by seven. You think for the price that you’re paying for room that they would at least have breakfast at 6:30 the earliest or at least open up the latest, 6 AM the earliest would be great but no, we can’t do that. We’re gonna charge up your room and we’re gonna screw you on your breakfast.

Negative experience: If I could give this hotel less than 1 star I would. I stayed here for 18 days for the holidays and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel. This hotel has no redeeming qualities other than the location of it being so close to all the stores. The fitted sheets don’t actually fit the bed so they never stay on while you sleep and actually I developed a rash on my body while sleeping here. Also the room service/staff are awful. My wife and I requested room service multiple times in one day on multiple days and never received any service until 7 days in. We had no towels, a dirty room, and dirty linens. Along with that while receiving the room service finally, the housekeeper was unbelievably rude to us. After receiving this room service we never got a blanket back. We had no blanket for days afterwards and then only received a blanket not even meant for the bed. Also when requesting towels it would take numerous hours (all day) to get the requested towels. I literally had to air dry after my shower like bro are you serious? The breakfast in the mornings is definitely not continental either, it’s trash. Also the AC in the room is super loud. To top it all off the internet is awful as well. It crashes every 30 minutes and when it’s not crashed it barely has enough speed to even play video. Plus the live TV quality is so bad and gets frozen so normal TV isn’t even an option here either. Overall, never ever come to this hotel.

Positive experience: Me and my wife stayed last week, overall the place was pretty good, but can improve on room cleaning service. During the whole weekend they never came to the room to either clean it or just to replace fresh towels and coffee.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with this hotel. I stayed for 5 nights, 9/10-9/15. My room was on the 2nd floor on the very end in the back. My room was very clean and smelled nice. Everything was in working order. The free breakfast was very nice. The management and gentleman on the front desk were great. Hotel is convenient to the mall, mcdonalds, gas stations, dunkin donuts is right there and an asian restaurant, and a gas station, and its right off of the highway. It was inexpensive too because I rented it through groupon. I plan to stay again when I need to recharge and relax. *****

Negative experience: For $300 for a night stay I expected at least clean and safe. Instead the non-smoking room reeks of cigarette smoke to the point your eyes burn, it took 45 minutes to check three customers in, it doesn’t feel safe and the window won’t lock, the a/c-vent hasn’t apparently worked in years, and it is filthy. If I wasn’t settled in and exhausted we would leave even if I couldn’t get my money back. I would absolutely recommend no one ever stays here if paying over $50 per night. The negative reviews can’t begin to cover how disappointing this place is especially for the cost and orbits should be ashamed because they jacked up the reviews to show 3.8/5 rating when it’s really currently 2.5. Really frustrated that this place spoiled our vacation. Will never stay here ever again, better to sleep in your car and won’t try a Baymont ever again if this is what you get at this price point.

Negative experience: I stayed here for 10 days 2 months ago and I have been itchy ever since. Also had an unauthorized charge on my card that they wouldn't refund me for. I thought it was nice at the time, the rooms were actually pretty ok looking and the cleaning lady and some front desk were really nice.. I was desperate and it was the best price I could find, but I regret staying here. Sketchy crowd. But like I said I was desperate. I'd recommend against this place.

Fantastic experience: I went into this stay expecting to not enjoy it because of the negative reviews and low price, but this hotel was an extremely pleasant surprise! The room was very clean and smelled nice, and while the place felt old, it was well kept-up and a lot of it looked newly refurbished. Joy at the front desk was a treat to talk to and I want to commend her for her excellent service. All the amenities were functional and the fridge in the room was a nice surprise too. The breakfast area served coffee and tea 24 hours, which was lovely as well. The only negatives I can think of are that the outlets were a little finicky (but still functional!), the temperature control in the room wasn't very precise (but again, still functional), and the breakfast wasn't particularly impressive, but none of these things even came close to ruining my stay. If you're looking for a budget hotel it really doesn't get better than this!

Positive experience: I’ve stayed here about 3 times, its more of a nicer motel than a bad hotel. I think the free breakfast may be the thing that keeps them straddling the line between hotel and motel. The breakfast is pretty sad, nothing is hot. Bagels, yogurt, muffins, bread, juice, coffee. There is a $200 deposit at check in and you’d have to trash at least 7 rooms to incur them that amount of damage so that seems a little ridiculous. If their rates are over 150 a night (really 100) you’ll feel like you’ve been robbed. It’s just not a nice place but will do in a pinch or if rates are reasonable. The place is just so damn run down.

Negative experience: Non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, filthy carpet, peeling wallpaper, bathroom door could only close with effort and was harder to open, breakfast accommodations were mis-leading at best. But the worst was seeing an elderly couple try to navigate the front entrance with no assistance from hotel staff. We helped pick the person up and get him steadied with his walker after witnessing him fall. The manager was standing near the front desk watching the whole thing with hands behind his back, and didn’t move when we finally got them inside. There was no signage directing them where handicap parking was located, but we found it on the side of the building and in disrepair. The welcome carpet was curled at the corner posing another threat to safety. Our stay was very disappointing; but we were more concerned about the safety of this lovely elderly couple.

Negative experience: Where do we start ??? Please do not go to this motel sleeping in your car is more safe and luxurious trust me i will attach pictures and you will understand this motel is full of water infiltration in rooms and in hallways the hotel stinks, housekeeping is poorly done they give you only two towels and they don’t refill or give you any good thing i brought some from home . Also they mention they have internet free wifi they don’t you only get wifi in the lobby the signal looses itself the further you walk away from the lobby . Rude and careless staff . They mention they have breakfast which is a wet lie what is in the pictures is not what you get for breakfast they had mini bagels butter and peanut butter and Some cereals ,milk and coffee that is it and also ants crawling all over the counters . Overall its not hygiénique the air quality in that building is poor its full of mold . This place is not sanitary and they refused to refund my stay so I can go elsewhere i think they are in a bad financial situation . Please avoid at all cost . I made a report to the Us health department.

Positive experience: The choice of air freshener or whatever the smell was in the lobby and rooms made my eyes water and was not pleasant to me. The room was not clean around the edges and under furniture. The place may have had a recent face lift but it was poorly done. Grout smears on backslash, missing paint, forgot to replace very corroded plumbing fixtures. Maid service did not clean coffee mugs or leave more coffee packets and the desk clerk acted like he had no idea what I was asking for. NO ELEVATOR. Nowhere did I see any mention of that and the desk clerk asked if it was OK we were on the second floor but did not mention there was no elevator. We're old and I have a bad knee. Should have been clearer about that. This place is not Wyndham worthy.

Negative experience: Lousy service will never stay at this place again!! Three days without maid service and had a sink with no running water had to buy bottled to brush my teeth. All I got was excuses. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Positive experience: Wonderful staff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Older property very few ADA rooms. DisabledMarineCombat veteranwheelchair-bound. Was having a rough night medically. And lost my bowel in the bathroom before I could reach tthe toilethe desk clerk did not have housekeeping available yet still found some help and cleaned up the mess, yet refused all my offers of a cash. Tip stating he wasn't allowed to take tips. They frequently held the doors open for me when I needed to go smoke. Other than lacking certain ADA adaptations within the common areas. This place was superb due to the staff who were mostly Jamaicanswho were friendly and worked hard everywhere I looked. ,Many thanks John Young

Negative experience: If I could give negative stars I probably wouldn't even do that, as this place does not deserve any type of star! I reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival, was told I reserved 2 rooms with 1 bed and a pull out couch. Confirmed reservation confirmation says 2 queen beds in both rooms. Was told that they were booked full and nothing could be done. Absolutely not! Was able to get one room changed that night to 2 beds. Was told the second night the other room could be changed to 2 beds. That never happened! On to the rooms themselves. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! The room with the pull out had no sheets on the pull out. Was given sheets to put on it ourselves. Where was housekeeping!? The lamp shade had mold ALL over the bottom of it! The bathroom towel rack clearly had been ripped off and placed back up without painting or fixing where it originally was. Paint was peeling on the ceiling as well as mold all over! Room reeked of mold/musty smell. Absolutely foul! 2nd room looked like it had never been vacuumed! White peices of paper all over. The toilet wouldn't flush. Anytime someone used it we had to take the top off and mess with the inside to get it to fill! How nasty is that!! I should not have to touch the back of a toilet that God knows who touched to make it work! No microwave to be found! Both rooms asked for more towels as there was not enough for everyone and was told they didn't have extra!? Then the second night was told at 6pm that housekeeping was still doing rounds, yet no housekeeper was to be found! Asked for more blankets and a pillow and was also told they didn't have extra! How do you not have extras of anything? The ceiling in the hallway was falling down, peices of it all over the floor that was never picked up the whole time we were there. Wet spot with mold all over it as well as peeling paint and mold around it. Hallways smelled of stale alcohol, mold, and Marijuana. Breakfast, if you even want to call it that, was a joke. Small mini bagels/bread, 2 cereals, yogurt/fruit cups. That was it. If you weren't there right at 7am you weren't getting anything. By 730am there was nothing left. They never restocked any of it, beside sugar? We stayed until 9 and Never even seen an employee come and check on it. The following day there was no milk for cereal left and was told that there was none left! I paid almost $500! Not even worth a penny!

Walk down to front desk no elevator. Two guys at check in they told to find housekeeper. You get what you pay for staying here

Negative experience: This location along with Priceline are scam artist. I made a reservation for 5 nights and paid in advance. I stayed one night and checked out. They refuse to reimburse me any of the money paid. I understand a penalty being applied, but they refuse to return any of the money. This is pure greed.

Negative experience: Since the first day we-came the room smells awful, the hallways cigarettes stink, in the room too, there was a vibrating noise in the room couldn’t sleep, move in to the first floor for tree night, but they fail to put in for 3 nights the they kick us in the first one cus was all ready reserved for someone else. Negative experience: We was told that the room we rented had a queen size bed..come and find out it was a full size bed very uncomfortable for 2 people..my husband and i had an awful night...then I checked my bank statement and they double charged me for the room so be careful when using your credit card and debit cards..we weren't the only one that has happened to.. the channels on the TV where snowy and horrible I will never go back there again

Negative experience: If I could do -10 stars I would. This hotel was dirty, the bathroom was broken, and they double charged me. Then instead of issuing a refund they charged me A 3RD TIME!! The very rude gentleman at the desk, informed me that this has happened the previous week, which leads to the assumption that they make a habit of over charging guests. DO NOT STAY HERE

Negative experience: It was horrible because the toilet was disconnected and the shower felt like they were going to break. Also the room smelled like someone smoked in it even though it was a nonsmoking room. The walls are thin as a paper you can hear anything it is horrible. There is no elavaterd too.

Negative experience: Horrible stay away. My buddy booked three rooms for us stay for a fishing trip we had. When went to check in, to our pleasant surprise we were told the reservation only had one room not three which we booked and had proof and to make matters worst they were sold out, The manager wasn't the most helpful and kept saying its not our fault. The front desk seem clueless and were lost. Then they charged my friends credit card three times. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY.

Negative experience: Could not check in on time, waited 3 hours, still dirty linen in hallways, key did not work, no elevator, no coffee, breakfast hardly anything, key didn’t work again second day, did not feel clean - old dust on furniture - microwave in lobby doesn’t work properly, no micro in room, safe non-functional, side door blocked open all night, sink doesn’t drain properly, toilet crooked.

Negative experience: One of the worst hotels I've been in a tour, this coming from someone that had no problem with holiday Inn etc. Not sure if it's just my room - all the head lamps were unplugged, and we have to replug around a table leg, hair dryer not working, bathtub drain is clogged and no hot water in the morning, the radio alarm does not work.

Negative experience: Service with front desk staff was poor. The entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke, our room smelled foul, our room phone did not work/was not fixed when we reported it, and no one answered the front desk phone when I called to ask a question. Would not recommend.

Negative experience: Only stayed a night to visit U Mass. D. Room has 2 beds, desk, 2 chairs, small dresser, large fridge w/ freezer, phone, TV, bathroom w/ hair dryer, iron & ironing board, safe, blackout curtain & plenty of lighting. As with most hotel rooms, corners & crevices could use a good cleaning, A/C unit is very loud. Bed was ok, I like the pillows - alternative down fill. Main hallways & room window screens need attention. The continental breakfast (7-9) was minimal w/ frozen egg Patty's you had to heat up in the microwave, see attached photos. They also use Styrofoam bowls & plates - who does that anymore? Hope they were the more bio based kind. Front desk was staffed at our check in, around 5pm, but while we were having breakfast, we saw 2 customers wanting to check out & no staff present. We DID have a VERY quiet night & early morning, we stayed on a Monday night. Much better than most any other hotels I've ever been to.

Negative experience: Although the bed in our room was comfortable and we had nice clean linens, the fire alarm went off before 6:a.m. What a way to wake up. Fortunately no fire. No explanation from the manager ...and we are staying another night. Hoping we can sleep in tomorrow morning and no alarms or fire engines or people running through the halls. It was a scary few minutes.

Fantastic experience: We stayed the weekend of June 5 & 6. Sam had already upgraded my room when I asked for another bed. Our room and the facility was very clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They gave my group a great rate. Sam was very knowledgeable and helpful. The closest hotel to Fieldstone Show Park. Will be returning next year!

Negative experience: The service was terrible and the man at the front desk was extremely rude. The rooms were nasty. The towels were stained and had a smell. They never opened the breakfast stand when they said that breakfast was included. Watch out if you register online because they don’t give you refunds if you want to cancel and the information online is false. I definitely do not recommend going to this hotel.

I called the desk but they told me to ignore it. After I had to get snippy about it the staff came to my door to check it out.

Negative experience: My first room the door didn’t close properly and the bathroom door didn’t close at all. After I got my second room, I am now placed in a handicap accessible room, hmm what if someone that needs handicap accessible comes in and needs a room you now don’t have it available, towels has stains, there’s was no small bottles of shampoo or conditioner. Mind you this wasn’t a planned overnight so I had nothing w me and had worked all day. The towel rack in the bathroom was all rusted. Heat was not working well. Will Not stay here again would not advise anyone else too!!!

Negative experience: Internet was awful. Room had gnats flying in the bathroom. Holes and stains on the walls. Window was left open on first floor room so intruder could just walk in. No visitors allowed in room due to Covid, but people were walking around without masks. It was way too expensive too. Basically it was a step above a dive. But had a good restaurant right next door.

Negative experience: I JUST checked in and I already regret being here . The front deak clerk was very rude and kept repeating certain rules pertaining to having company assuming that because i appear young i must have intentions on doing so . Instead of going over the “deposit policy” he just looked at me and said I am taking 160 payment until i look at your room if its clean when you leave . The room itself has stains all over the sheets and a musty smell to the room . The worst part is i just paid for two days in advance . I am livid and already uncomfortable!

Negative experience: We stayed there as a part of a school group that had booked about 7 rooms. Staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. They yelled at our kids for meeting in the dining room to prepare for a competition. They yelled at the parents for talking in the hall. The didn’t like the fact that we congregated outside. No problem, we’ll never stay there ever again and I recommend that you stay away from there too!

Negative experience: When we arrived, the online price was $83. They charged us $142!! The person at the front desk was arrogant and had a bad attitude!! To make it worse, the room smelled like cat pee When we wanted breakfast, they had a few things out including the waffle maker. It wasn't plugged in nor had the batter been made. No one was at the front desk for over 20 minutes or answered our calls. When we finally saw someone, they pointed at us and said in a nasty tone, they are not for the guests; only for the workers. Would rather sleep in my car than at this "hotel" again. Beware.

Negative experience: The bed was very uncomfortable. The ac took hours to work. I went to my car at 10:15 am and my room key would no longer work to get into the building or my room when check out isn't until 11am. The staff was fine, no complaints there. The price for the room itself was high. There was dry blood on the wall, chocolate remnants in the drawers one of the handles for the drawer was broken, the cleaning crew seems to be very lax. All in all the stay itself was fine, I didnt much like the price but I paid it. I would probably come back for a short stay.

Negative experience: I honestly do not know where to start. We booked our room (late evening) and checked in to room 220. (Before the owner responds the reservation was under Howell) The cieling was falling down. We were moved to room 234. The curtains are torn, the bathtub (no photos) was DISGUSTING. We were only sleeping there so it wasnt a huge deal to us. In room 234 the tv was unplugged, as was the phone. The toilet paper was obviously preused by the past resident. The wifi was HORRIBLE and pretty much unusable! Also with tmobile there is no service inside! It STINKS in the hallway.. kind of like mildew and perfume. I would only reccomend the place to sleep and shower. Do not plan on spending ANYTIME inside of the room. You will notice more and more wrong with it. The hallways arent air conditioned and they dont turn the AC on in the room before you enter (you are walking into a sauna). We slept there friday and cut our vacation short and left Saturday night! You can hear EVERYONE around you! Seriously SPEND the extra $40 bucks and get the better hotel! You will NOT regret it!

Negative experience: The staff was extremely rude we had a 2 night stay the second day our key wouldn’t open the door we go to the front desk the man behind the desk says I need to see your ID because I know it’s not in your name even though he never asked our name he checks and the key was only programmed for one night instead of the 2 we paid for he gives us a new key and never apologizes or anything I would not recommend staying here they also did not replace the empty toilet paper roll

Fantastic experience: I am seeing negative reviews here but maybe their experience was a lot different than mine. I stayed this hotel for a night and from the point of entry until I left, it was nothing but great. Room was super clean, bed was comfortable and the staff was kind and very friendly. Definitly going to stay there whenever I come to the city again.

Negative experience: I have traveled a lot in my life time and this is the worse place I have even stayed. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. I arrived at 7:30 which was 30 minutes before my schedule time from my travel agency’s booking. I rang the bell and called called no one was working. When he came to the door the owner began screaming at me that I was an hour and a half early. He screamed at me for almost 10 minutes straight. I was super scared. The place was ice cold from heat being turned off though out the whole place. The next morning I went to ask for coffee and cream and he started screaming at me again that it is not summer and we don’t get that. I showed him where on my site said it had breakfast and coffee. He walked away saying you get no coffee. The next night my kid tried making a phone call out of the room and his wife screamed at me that he must stay in his room only and to not walk around the hotel. Also the place smells really bad and not very clean. The blank smell and looks as if it was bought in the 70’s and never washed. I had to take it off and only have a sheet. No other blankets in the room.

Negative experience: I was able to get past the stale smell in the dingy lobby, but finding someone else’s hair in the bathroom sink and in the bathtub was too much for me. If this is the only available hotel the next time I visit this area, I will opt for sleeping in the car and using the Porta-Potty at the nearest construction site.

Positive experience: Great place to lay your head for the night or a couple of nights. Beds are comfy, rooms are always clean, everyone there is really nice and it's in a great location if you have to visit Umass Dartmouth or any place off the highway. Give it a chance and it will surprise you.

Negative experience: Says $129 online. Man on phone had quoted us $160 for 2 nights (we are from NH). In office, woman charged $160 a night plus tax! Stinky room, smells musty really bad, cigarette burns in comforter. Never staying again.

Negative experience: I was charged double the rate I found online for a same day rental renting at the desk instead of online. The room smelled like animal urine and water damage. Under the bed hasn't been cleaned in months. Front desk who checked me out was the owner and he was friendly and courteous. I'll never stay again because of the blatant up charge and taking advantage. Water pressure was so low it took me ten minutes to brush my teeth

Negative experience: Hotel smells of mildew, cigaretts and odly enough wet dog. My breathing has been affected by the musty conditions within 1hr of arriving, i will never stay here again.

Negative experience: The place is not bad. It is a bit expensive for what they offer. What displeased me was that the front desk staff was hostile. I only saw two people and their treatment was not pleasant, rather racist.

Negative experience: NOT ONLY are the couple running the place RUDE the room was FILTHY! The Comfortors were DISGUSTING. They had STAINS & you could tell they HAVEN'T BEEN WASHED. NO AMENITIES. My family & I came up here to visit & we stayed for 1 night & switched to the hotel next door at the MARRIOT & it was pretty much the same price!!!. I'd rather spend 10 more dollars to make sure my Family doesn't contract MERSA.

Negative experience: This place was no good. We didnt even have a microwave in the room.No morning breakfast either. Burn marks on the blankets, spider webs in the corner of the walls, spill stains all over the walls, and when we got our room it was cold like outside and the man was mad about giving me another blanket. Also take the coffee makers out the bathrooms

Positive experience: Checked in and was offered to pay cash or debit/credit. I haven't encountered another who offers said choice. Room was very clean. Bathroom was clean as well. Towels were scarce. Hotel was by far the quietest hotel I've stayed at. I could hear a pin drop in the halls and lobby. The gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful. There couldn't be a better location than this hotel. Everything from food, shops, malls, plazas, gas, pharmacy, and all major highways all within a mile.

Negative experience: Was in room 119, I would not recommend anyone stay here. The bathtub was not clean, toilet and sink backed up and was told they would give us a plunger, but they came and plunge toilet. Booked hotel on the premise there was a microwave in the room. There was not. Also web page showed a lake view. 5 miles away from any water. Towels were stained and disgusting. Also said Continental breakfast but was told it was off season and not available. Not enough people used it. Told them sink and toilet backed up and was told we used to much toilet paper. Said cleaned room but toilet was still clogged. And sheets never changed and was not given anymore cups. Two people stayed but only gave one coffee.

Negative experience: We stayed in room 136 and immediately met with a musty mildew smell as we walked in. The carpet was moist and sticky and the bathroom door didnt close without forcing it shut, which would then make a loud noise when opening it. Stains on the walls, broken fixtures and wrapping left on lamps. We did see a friends room, which looked perfectly fine, so this is only for room 136 and the lack of interest to address the issues. They do have breakfast from 7-9. So there's that. Its a gamble.

Positive experience: Had a good 2-night stay here. The staff I spoke with were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a nice non-smoking room that really didn't smell like smoke at all, included a desk & chair, plus a small sofa & table...only thing missing was a microwave, but there was one downstairs in the breakfast area that I probably could have used. Breakfast selection was pretty good for being complimentary. The bed wasn't the most comfortable ever, but the pillows were soft and comfy. May very well stay here again in a month or so!
