Negative experience: Horrible customer service. I hate dealing with this company as a travel advisor. I lost several clients during the pandemic as they wouldn't refund fees even though the airlines were willing to. Even post pandemic, whenever I reach out to them for assistance, their agents are very rude and extremely unhelpful, yet they beg me to vote for them as best consolidator. They also are careless and spell names wrong even when they have your spelling in front of them. Beware of this company. I hope the owner gets better training for their associates as many of these other reviews shared. Edit: Their response just goes to show the lack of customer service. I'm not sure how they can tell if I am a travel advisor or client based on my first name only. Instead of offering assistance, they became extremely defensive and called me a troll. It just goes to show how arrogant this company is.

Negative experience: Please don’t use this company. If you have to cancel they charge all kinds of rebooking and other fees. They are impossible to reach; long hold times for travel agents trying to rebook. They only work with a very limited number of travel agents and they won’t talk with buyer directly big you have problems with your travel agency. My experience with them has been a nightmare!

Negative experience: Horrible customer service. Airline made schedule change and connection time in Amsterdam was not sufficient. Would not work with my TA to reroute me. We tried to work directly with airline but since this was a bulk ticket they couldn’t help. Very rude agent at Centrav who only offered to cancel my flights and refund my money. Don’t ever book through a consolidator. You do not have control of your ticket.

Negative experience: One of the worst consolidator because why are you cancelling an original ticket because the client did not get back to you on time.

Positive experience: I've used centrav a lot and love being able to get great upgraded fares for my clients. Recently I've noticed Expedia has better fares that centrav presents. I found a business class fare from Miami to Honolulu for $3000 less on Expedia. The itinerary (layover in LAX both directions) doesn't come over and when I tried to find it on the itinerary builder it came back as unable to display. The fare's not insignificant. Centrav should have a best rate gty and should show all flights available.

Negative experience: Absolutely trash customer service. Edit: I have spent a month emailing and calling Centrav and they have not responded. I have $1,200 worth of credits through an airline that I have trying to use for over a month and I have not be able to use them at all. The cost for the tickets that I have been trying to get have gone from $450 to $750. That's a $300 increase per ticket!! I still have not been able to book my flight yet. I have been on hold multiple times for over 2 hours. This is insane! I want my money back now and compensation for the cost difference in these tickets. This is absolutely absurd.

Negative experience: Could not get a change in schedule for senior couple who have less than 1 hour to change planes in Chicago. Would like to contact the airline directly but was told must go thru Centrav since it was booked through them. They would not offer reasonable alternatives. I could do better with the airline if allowed. Poor customer service.

Positive experience: Centrav has been a great tool for me, my agents and agency to use when it comes to booking air for our clients. They respond fairly quickly and typically will do their best at helping resolve air issues. There have been a couple of bumps in the road where I felt I could have used better support, but overall, I still continue to trust and work with them. I would still recommend them over other air consolidators.

Negative experience: Do not book travel through this company. 1. They are not open on the weekends so if your flight gets changed or canceled you have to wait until Monday morning. It cannot be done through the airline, or Centrav. 2.Youre better off booking directly with the airline. Southwest charges you nothing to change a flight or receive a refund. Centrav charges $50 pp to change a flight. 3. They charged me $25 pp to receive a refund when Southwest canceled the flight. Southwest would have charged me nothing. Again, because I did not book directly with the airline there was nothing Southwest could do.

Negative experience: I booked with my travel agent Dec.12, 2019 for a trip to Africa. Covid delayed the trip, but we have rebooked for next month. According to our travel agent the new fare had to be paid in full & I would receive a refund. I have had to check back several times with my agent concerning the refund. Yesterday I had a charge for $50 on my credit card. I called my agent & she said it was a charge from Centrav for processing my refund. Centrav has had my money for 18 months, the cancellation was because of a pandemic, I have once again used Centrav, & I have to pay Centrav to get MY money back. Something is wrong with this picture. If I had a choice, I would never use Centrav again. I believe it is poor business to take advantage of customers.
