Positive experience: Went to have a passport photo made and it was successful. The lady who assisted me was very nice.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Smith gave suburb customer service. She honored my black Friday deal. She made sure I had enough miles for a tow. The black Friday deal only honored 5 miles of towing. Unfortunately, I could not add my brother in Texas or my sister in North Carolina, only family in TN.

Negative experience: Had a flat tire. It was dark and not a good neighborhood near Memphis. Called and received 3 text updates half hour apart saying they would be there in half hour. After that the texts stopped. So after an hour and a half I finally had to drive 25 miles to pick him up, bring him home then drive back the next day and pay for a tow to a garage for tires. First time I’ve ever been disappointed with AAA. I’m wondering if it was the area he was in they could have said.

Negative experience: Horrible experience with AAA. My car broke down, so I called AAA. There was nobody working on the 4th of July so I had to do everything through the online service. I received a call from a no caller said number about an hour after I put my request in. Paid $70 over the phone to be towed. About an hour later, I got a text that a wrecker was on the way to me. Waited 3+ hours after the text and they never arrived. Tried calling numerous times to AAA, but the towing company that called either called through the AAA office that had no one working the phone, or had a no call back number, so I wasn’t able to check on the status or to see if anyone was even going to come to me. Ended up having to leave my car in a parking lot after a kind MPD officer helped me push it out of the road. BOTTOMLINE: AAA is way too expensive for their horrible service. Horrible company to give money to to not be able to count on them when you need them. Will be canceling my membership immediately!!!

Negative experience: Left us stranded . We called back just for them to say we can’t find any tow trucks to pick up. Also said we need to SOS and find our own tow truck company , while knowing I had an infant and Kid in the car also.

Negative experience: Don't get AAA. They will drop you if you use their roadside services. I have an old vehicle and was towed several times according to their towing policies.

Negative experience: I called AAA tonight at 11:35 to get a tow. The estimated time was 1 hour. I had specific instructions on what tow truck to send, they still sent the wrong one. He stated he would call in another tow truck. After waiting another hour, this tow truck was riding around the city as I could see him in Parkway Village. I called the hotline and the girl hung up and didn't bother calling me back granted we waited another hour. I called back and someone answered and scheduled me another tow but it would take until 2:45am to receive it. Ummm don't bother.. I've already waited almost 3 hours for nothing!!! Terrible service and I can't wait to cancel this! I wish I could give zero stars!

Negative experience: My husband and I contacted AAA for a boost at 11:10pm and was given an estimated time for 12:15am however we waited after 12:30am to call back for an update as nobody showed up spoke to a customer service representative for a ETA who name was Brenda she was very rude and not helpful at all when asked to speak to a manager after almost 20 minutes with her she told us no because the reason we wanted to speak a manager was not a valid reason, however we told her we never said what our reason was so how can she tell us it wasn’t valid, then she proceeded to say well let me check and see if I can get one, placed us on hold until a new representative picked up who was no help either, this lady Brenda acted as if she is the one sitting in a cold car, low phone battery in a whole another state we are not familiar with because we do not live in this state . We pay for This service and has never used it until today well tired to use it and you would think the representative would have a little bit more compassion for their customers AAA is not cheap so I would reconsider getting a membership if u just gone end up asking a restaurant server who’s shift ended walking to their car to give us a boost and was way more caring and helpful then AAA was to us. it’s a shame even tho the wait wasn’t a big issue because we knew we would have to wait a bit it’s the way the company missed handled us.

Negative experience: They wasn't able to help with selling park tickets for Bush Gardens Tampa. In AAA offices in Florida this was easily possible.

Negative experience: Did not have stickers for car, gave me wrong numbers, not at all helpful.

Positive experience: I went there for get a international driver's license. It was quick and lady was kind. I might check auto insurance from AAA.

Negative experience: Called 9:00 a.m. was told wrecker will be out to you at 9:59 a.m.... never showed called back at 10:45a.m. another wrecker was called and set as priority. Next tow service never showed aswell. Glad I was in a safe location and I've had AAA for over a decade this is no excuse.

Negative experience: Poor customer service and professionalism all around. Granted homeowner insurance and then within a month they said we could no longer be covered. Multiple emails and phones calls were not responded to, then sent a generic message for an automated number. No follow up and problems or solutions when nothing had changed. Would NOT recommend or return service.

Negative experience: The most worst experience I’ve ever had trying to get a tow truck. It’s been over 4 hours , and no tow truck. Each time I call the tow truck will be coming in fifteen minutes. This has been the worse services I’ve ever had in trying to get a tow truck. Do not count on this poor service if you’re in need of a two truck.

Negative experience: I have AAA home & auto. I was set up for auto bill pay But was not actually set up on it. Of course, their mistake. I had to call customer service twice in 3 months b/c they have me recvng paper bills which is a higher pymt. AAA did NOTHING to correct their mistake. I WILL NOT RENEW with them!

Negative experience: Car wouldn't car so I called for assistance. I was on hold waiting for about 45 mins and no one answered. I disconnected and put in a ticket online for roadside assistance and waited for over an hour after the technician was supposed to arrive. I finally called my uncle to help me get my car started because it was getting dark. I called AAA back...still no answer after being on hold again for over an hour. This is a good service to have if you can actually receive the service. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Been with AAA since 1992. Love the maps you can get. Discounts on many services. Great company. Friendly staff both local and customer service calls. Great roadside service. One tow pays for the membership. They've come to my aid several times for tire and battery issues. Worth the price of a membership.

Fantastic experience: Had a tire go flat while driving. Crawled home with an almost bare wheel rim and through not a great neighborhood off Airways Blvd. So, I called AAA toll free and they dispatched Chris from AAA in Memphis who came with 1/2 hr. to where I live in Midtown. He was great, nice and didn’t give up with a difficult situation getting damn wheel off! At 1:45 AM!! Spare tire was put on successfully. Needless to say, he was timely in helping me. I had to give him some extra $. So worth it. I wouldn’t have gotten it off by myself! Highly recommend a AAA membership where not covered on some newer vehicles. So easy as in this case!

Fantastic experience: I called AAA membership and spoke to Jimmy. He processed my gift to my niece and nephew, to upgrade their AAA Classic to AAA Plus. Price was prorated for mid-year conversion. He emailed the new cards to my niece and nephew, since the actual cards will take 10 business days. Jimmy made it easy.

Positive experience: Miss the old location. The tour books do not give as much information as before. You still receive good maps if you don't have GPS.

I purchased a battery from them which is under warranty - the AAA guy that installed the battery never put the battery clamp THAT I BAUGHT and never put it back on -not my fault. And now they won’t honor the warranty. I’ve been a customer for 27 years. Definitely not renewing with them again. Be ware...AAA is NOT for the people

Negative experience: I wish the option for zero stars was available. I have been a AAA member since 1983, Their road service has deteriorated over the years. Customer service is very slow. A typical phone call to request a tow truck takes almost 10 minutes. An automation system asks you to input various information (phone number, membership number, location, etc.) and then you are transferred to an agent who requires you provide the same information again. The customer service agent will tell you the tow truck will arrive within the hour, but it is always 2 plus hours. There are very few towing companies with AAA contracts - sometimes just one in a metro area. If the one AAA contracted towing company is busy, you may be waiting 3-4 hours for a tow truck.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service yesterday I broke down on I-40 and was waiting 2 hours for a service call just to call back and find out that it didn't come through then when I went to replace the call and get service they told me it was going to be $750 I then proceeded to get tow from gleaves and they gave me a tow for only $300 bad customer service will never use them again and canceling membership ASAP
