Fantastic experience: Greg alleviated all of our stress when trying to figure out a car rental for our trip. He provided us 3 options with explanations for each and then answered any questions we had beyond that. Once we decided which option we wanted he handled the booking for us and explained what to do at the airport . It was a very simple process and much less involved than some other websites made it out to be. He also has rental car tips available that are valuable information. Greg was also readily available for any questions that arose during our trip. Do yourself a favor and don’t stress or look any further for booking a rental car, Greg is the best!

Fantastic experience: In the U.S. I rent straight from the big car rental companies, but I'm glad I didn't in Costa Rica -- it all works differently there. Greg (recommended by my travel agent) was extremely helpful -- he clearly laid out all of the options and we ended up with a nearly brand-new car that was exactly what we needed. Everything went smoothly and he was available in case any problems came up (luckily none did).

Fantastic experience: Greg, Helped us obtain a car rental through his website. The car rental went smooth and had no issues. The price was better than other well known websites. I do recommend that if you rent a car in Costa Rica, you get the full coverage, so you don’t have to worry about the vehicle. Costa Rica is beautiful, but the road system in rural areas is not great and is easy to accidentally damage the lower parts and undercarriage of the car.

Positive experience: Greg provided me with a quote through Alamo at the Liberia airport. To be transparent, I did run into some issues at the counter when it came time to pay for the rental (I ended up paying extra for an additional driver, when I should not have needed to do that because it was included in the initial quote). However, Greg spoke with Alamo immediately and rectified the situation. I was provided a refund for the additional funds I paid within a few days. Despite this, I would use his service again as he responds to messages very promptly, and the quotes he provided were significantly lower than quotes I found online on my own.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service on hire car for out trip from London to Costa Rica after seeing CR recommended in a FB group! The car was delivered to our San José airport hotel as promised the morning after a late arrival from the UK and the paperwork quickly completed. No extra charge for delivery back to a Liberia airport was a bonus. Greg was very helpful from start to finish with my questions, and knowing that we had him as a direct contact should we have run into any issues was very reassuring, but it wasn't necessary. Fantastic experience: I found Greg’s contact through the Costa Rica Facebook group when looking up car rentals. After reading some worrying posts of people getting scammed in the group, I wanted to make sure my friend and I would not only get the best price, but also a reliable car rental company with great customer service. Greg was quick to respond to my WhatsApp message and answered all my questions. He was able to find us a good quote with everything we were looking for and explained everything very well, especially when it came to choosing the appropriate insurance coverage. Greg got us a car from Alamo, the Paseo Colon location. The employees there spoke perfect English and were very patient when it came to checking the car for any damages when we picked up the rental. They even tried to help us link our phone to the Bluetooth system in the car. Unfortunately it wasn’t working, but this wasn’t a huge deal breaker for us. The car was a brand new car, 2025 model and clean. We returned the car to the Liberia location with no hassles and was refunded our damage deposit after a week or so. If you need someone to help you with finding a car rental, Greg is your guy. I highly recommend him and he will be available to help you every step of the way. Next time we’re in Costa Rica, we will definitely reach out for his help again!

He made the entire process smooth and stress-free from start to finish. We ended up renting through Alamo Car Rental in Liberia, and the experience was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even assisting us with an upgrade. We went with a 4x4 truck and third-party liability insurance (a must-have!), which cost $800 for 8 days. There was also a $1,000 refundable deposit, but it was just a hold and didn’t even show up on my credit card statement. Plus, they offered free shuttle service pickups, making the process even easier. Overall, this was the best car rental experience I’ve ever had. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Greg in reserving a car for pickup at Liberia airport a week before my arrival. His price was all inclusive so I had no surprises when I got there. The car was ready and exactly what I ordered and very clean. I did have a slight problem with the car at one point which was the power steering went out and that was really bizarre because it was a very new car. However I pulled up at the rental place and explained the problem and they replaced it with a much nicer vehicle within five minutes and I was on my way. I took it back early and they only charged me for the time I needed it and used it. I highly recommend Greg as he was easy to work with and very responsive. Great experience!

Fantastic experience: Rented a 4x4 passenger van that easily fit 8 adults and luggage. Van was brought to us at our airport hotel in San Jose on time with a very painless check in process. The van was absolutely perfect for us. It was very well appointed and virtually brand new. This van made it anywhere we wanted to go without any issues whatsoever. Fantastic experience: I contacted Greg because of the positive reviews he’s received re rental vehicle out of San Jose airport. He asked where we were going and then suggested three different vehicles. We went with Alamo and a Suzuki 4x4, and decided on full insurance for peace of mind. Greg then organized everything with Alamo, no deposit required.Alamo delivered the vehicle to our hotel, we did all the paperwork and checked out the vehicle with the Alamo guy. The vehicle was clean, full of gas and had a cover at the back to hide the luggage. The driving was uneventful, vehicle drove well, and the cost all in for 10 days was $612 US. We had to deliver the vehicle back to the Alamo office which was the only challenge as we got lost twice. Thanks to Greg the vehicle rental was super easy!
