Negative experience: Paid for homeowners policy on January 17th and was informed by the agent that the cancellation of my prior policy would be sent to them. I followed up again today which would be the THIRD time, and was told by the prior insurance company and they still did not receive the document. Each time I called AAA I was told that it would be taken care of immediately. Still not done! This is causing me to loose money! Now I have to wait for the agent James Austin to call me back again. Second guessing this service.

Negative experience: I’ve never had such a difficult time trying to get my fingerprints. I’ve done this at UPS so many times and never, ever had a problem at all. I’ve tried to make appointments, only to find the soonest would be one week from today; the process LITERALLY TAKES 5 minutes but they have no one to man the print station? Great… love having to drive 17 miles to get my prints. Who thought AAA was a good service provider for this oh-so-simple fingerprinting service? They can barely seem to staff the location to begin with.

Negative experience: Today, (12/13/2024) I went for the first time to get finger printed for FBI check for a new job. I was scheduled at 2:00pm. I get there at 1:30pm. I walked into the place and there was no one at the front to help take care of you. So, the woman to the right side of the office (probably handles all matters pertaining to triple AAA) asks what I was here for. I told her I am scheduled to have my FBI finger prints done. She asked me for my ID. I pulled my ID and was handing it to her, but she was still busy typing so I pulled back till she finished. She then says, “I said I needed your ID” I said “It’s right here.” She proceeds to offer me a deal if wanting to be a member of triple AAA, I declined. So she was quiet typing away and I said politely, “I have the information if you need it” she said “No, I don’t. Have a seat they will call you.” I’m like, Okay? Someone is not having a good day. So I sat and waited.But this was the worst. The woman who processed the fingerprinting (wish I had her name) was not polite, had no personality, not helpful and rude. I can only say she worked on 12/13/2024 at 2:20pm. She calls me and I approached smiled and said “Good afternoon” and she said with a stone face, “Your ID”. In my mind, I said to myself don’t pay no mind to her. She starts the process of finger printing. She scans the license and then says, “I will need you to stand up and place your right hand on the machine.” So basically, from there on, YOU are the one finger printing yourself. You are on your own. That was not the problem. The problem was when you are trying to do it right and she is getting upset for you are doing it wrong. While this is happening, she is online Googling products on a different monitor and not paying attention to what or how I am doing with the finger scanning process. She kept on saying, “You’re doing it wrong, apply pressure!” or “Don’t roll till I tell you too” or “Again, again!!!” I was sighing so loud and I had an angry face. At the end the photo she took was horrible. In the photo I was half way closing my eyes and looked very angry. She didn’t offer to have me retake the photo. So unacceptable her behavior. I went in happy and came out so upset. She knew I was upset. And that is not me. She said “there is the receipt and you will get results within about a week or two.” I just ripped the recipe out of the machine and walked out. I had to inhale and exhale in the car. I called my husband and he wanted so bad to come and say something to her but I believe two wrongs don’t make a right. Let’s just say I would NEVER EVER go to that place again. Trying to go somewhere closer to home was not worth it. The one from Hellertown, I have always gone to in the past and the person there then, who does the fingerprinting, has a wonderful pleasurable, polite, personality and she does the fingerprinting for you for it is quicker and it shows its clear and ready. She made sure it was done correctly. Also, when it came to the photos she would always ask if you liked it. If not, she would take another one. That is if she is still working there. Suffice whomever, Hellertown UPS IDentogo place is worth going to. But this place, Triple AAA, STAY AWAY! A-Attitude A-Audaciois A-Away FROM THIS PLACE! *FOLLOW-UP* It is 5:36pm and just received an email that I have to re-do the finger printing for it was inconclusive. Not clear. Of course it wasn’t, she was on Google shopping while I was trying to do my best to get the finger printing done correctly. Tried to get an appointment at Hellertown, but it is booked. Now to go to somewhere new hoping they are better than this place. Pray this doesn’t delay my hire date. UGH, I am not going to let this get my night ruined. Once again people, please do not go there!!!

Negative experience: Called for a tow at 1 and was told someone would be there by 2. Then got a call that they were looking for someone to come and they would let me know when they found someone. Then after about 3 more calls I was finally told that someone would come sometime after 5 p.m. because they didn't want to miss out on getting more local tows instead of first come first serve so I called and asked if someone could call and facilitate this tow because now my jeep isn't even going to get to the garage during business hours and she basically told me that the tow companies can pick and choose who they go out to help. So not only did Elite decide to just not help me and leave us stranded for over 4 hours but on top of that I'm paying for AAA to tell me I'm basically out of luck. What do I even pay for? Definitely not renewing our membership. Family is mad too so they are going to literally lose my 4 kids, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 mother-in-law, 1 brother and sister-in-law, mother and her bf, and about 6 more people. Gonna have to find another roadside assistance company that will actually not leave their customers stranded and AAA can try to pass the buck and blame Elite and vice versa but they didn't do anything to try and help in any way whatsoever so to me they both deserve 1 star and that's because you can't make it 0.

Negative experience: I swear I’ve never experienced such poor customer service before. I came here on a Monday morning for fingerprinting which is needed for a background check. My appointment was made weeks in advance for 9:50. I got to this location early and was told they were a little behind. The person running the fingerprints was named Jerry. He seemed to be not motivated and was wasting time on the phone. I was then told after waiting a half hour that their system was down and needed a reboot. Other customers were being turned away as they said they didn’t think they could get to them while in the meantime I’m waiting and no one was communicating anything with me while I’m waiting patiently. Finally after waiting an hour, I’m finally brought back and Jerry couldn’t even type in my information correctly into the system. I had to correct his typos multiple times. He then had issues with running the scanner for my ID and was clueless in resolving the issues. I then inquired if there was another machine on site to do my fingerprints and they told me no. How do you do fingerprints and not have a back up machine in case something goes wrong? Jerry was then unsympathetic and told me there was nothing else he could do for me except to come back another day. When you take time out of your day to schedule an appointment, you expect to get results or at least get some proper communication informing you that there are problems and apologies are offered for any inconvenience. I was offered none of that. If you ever need fingerprints done, stay away from this place.

Negative experience: I will say this. To have a fingerprinting location and travel in the same building is very confusing and pointless. It was my first time at this location and I needed to do my fingerprints for my certification in New York. When I first walked in 10 minutes before my 9:30 appointment. I wasn’t even greeted, and there was no sign telling me where customers for fingerprinting should sign in it. So as a way to need a front door as the closer to the fingerprinting with Debbie, the representative was handling another customer. I was then addressed by another representative, who was handling AAA business. She addressed me in a very condescending way and she had an attitude. me if I was a AAA member I said no I’m here to get my fingerprints done at IdentoGo. I’m not sure what her name was but she had dark hair and she look like she was in her late 50s early 60s. She asked me did I sign in and I said no I don’t know where I’m supposed to sign in at? There was no machine or clip board to write arrival time and the set up was confusing because all you saw was items for travel. So she proceeds to write down some thing she didn’t even ask me what my name was. She acted like I was invisible, and I was just another number..unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manager whose name was Jessica. I told her about the situation and she sort of downplays the situation by saying that they’re understaffed everyone has multiple hats to wear etc. customer came in after me and so while Debbie was finishing up with one finger print I was still waiting. The lady at the AAA counter tells Debbie that the customer that came after me is next and I said how was that possible when I have a 9:30 appointment for fingerprints? And the fact that she supposedly signed me on etc. My point is despite of having your workers understaffed speak to ALL CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND COURTESY. I mean regardless of race or ethnicity. I won’t be back at that establishment.

Negative experience: TLDR: I cant speak to their roadside service, but for PA title/registration needs, they’re somewhere on the spectrum between incompetent & dishonest/scam. Avoid at all costs. Full description below: ____ I’ll start off by saying I hate leaving bad reviews unless they’re REALLY deserved, and maybe I caught them on a bad day, it was Friday afternoon 2 hours before closing, or maybe they have uninformed employees I’m not sure but I came in for an out of state title transfer registration for a car I bought in NJ (PA has archaic rules for when you buy a car in another state, it’s strange, you can’t go to motor vehicles) and I called and spoke to someone who said they could get me my plates and registration the same day in an easy procedure, as long as I brought the car I was registering (along the requisite documentation) so they could “walk out to the lot with (me) and verify the VIN”. Perfect. While that sounds simple enough, despite being a PA resident, currently I’m staying in NJ 90 min away helping a relative who had a major surgery, so it’s a 3hr round trip, that’s why I called and double-confirmed to check. I’m sure you can see where this is going, but after an interaction with two women behind the front desk who talked to me like I had walked through their front door uninvited and interrupted a personal conversation, the older woman at my line said I was mistaken (despite speaking to their coworker several hours before), that this was NOT a quick process and they would not verify my VIN in the parking lot, that I would have to by law go to one of the mechanics on either side of them and pay for a VIN verification. Both mechanics told me they didn’t have time for this on a busy Friday PM and that it would take over an hour, even if they did have time on a slow day. What?! This goes against everything I read online, but hey maybe it’s a new rule or I’m just uninformed myself, it’s not like the internet is always accurate. I drove home upset I wasted 3hr+ of my time and took a half day off work for this, but really I was just annoyed with myself (as well as the curt employees of AAA). Fast forward to a week later, and I drove to John’s Auto Tags in Fairless Hills, PA after a phone call confirming the same process I originally was quoted by AAA, and I was in and out under 10 MINUTES, they just walked out to the lot verified my VIN visually and gave me my license plate, and they couldn’t have been nicer…All for $45! So avoid this AAA at all costs, they’re either incompetent, dishonest/scamming with their neighbors for VIN verification fees, or both.

Negative experience: Awful. I've called AAA 5 times in the past 2 hours since I broke down. They still can't tell me when a tow truck will be coming. Can't tell me what company will be coming. I've been a premier member for 36 years.

Negative experience: I have to give this company a bad review. My agent was very responsive & available while trying to make the sale. After the sale she has disappeared. Does not respond to messages left on her voice mail. I was over charged for the life insurance policy she sold and I can get no answers as to why. I tried calling the AAA customer support number listed on the policy and they told me they did not have this agent listed & therefore could not help me. What do you do when the national AAA tells you they do not know this agent and cannot not help? Now I am not sure if the policy this agent sold is even valid.

Negative experience: I look back at the year and think about the challenges of 2020 that began in 2019. My family had our 1st homeowners insurance claim ever (sewage damage) and what a nightmare from AAA Insurance. Tammy Smith-Gehris (their best none paying insurance rep.) Rich Weir (Pittsburgh Manager telling me to f* myself) and Justin Gair (local rep. that caught the “mistakes”) were so unprofessional and tried to steal money from our claim. Luckily my wife and I kept the best records possible and proved the thousands of dollars they were trying to take from us. In April they admitted their mistake and money came pouring in. However, they stuck us for just over $2k that we proved over and over we were owed but welcome to a pandemic year. We’re not done pursuing what is ours but need to take a breath after over a year battle. Worst experience ever and please don’t use AAA for anything. They’re an outdated company with nothing to offer and loyalty means absolutely nothing to them. Shop like your hard earned money deserves it!

Negative experience: Needed service for a motorcycle twice now. The first time, they didn't have parts to fill my tire with air. I ended up buying a tire inflator and inflated it myself. The second time it took 24 hours to get a tow.

Negative experience: Worst service ever! I waited 4hrs for a tow truck! All AAA did was transfer my call from department to department and no one can give me an answer or a good reason why it’s took so long ! I will definitely be canceling my service ! Horrible customer service !

Negative experience: Very bad customer service. The front desk greeter had a bad attitude. Went to this location to purchase life insurance with AAA and they did not allow for healthcare screening at the their facility while an empty conference room was available. Will take my business somewhere else. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: I have never had such bad service. Tire went flat on my way home from work at 4am. Called for assistance. Driver shows up 90 minutes later to assist and due to us not having the proper tool he tells us he will call a tow truck for us. Then tells us the tow truck will arrive in an hour. It is now 8:45am and the tow truck just arrived. Leaving us stranded but towing our vehicle home because he has his son in his truck and can't make room for one of us to ride along and retrieve our other vehicle. So beyond irritated and annoyed!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a AAA member for 31 years, and the yearly cost is worth every penny. We take a lot of roadtrips, and the piece of mind that you get with the roadside assistance can't be beat. I also appreciate the discounts that you receive at stores and attractions around the country. The membership pays for itself with just a few uses. I have also booked two trips through their travel services because of the great prices and one on one planning. The Stefko Blvd location is where I visit, and the staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful!

Fantastic experience: Are the people in the Bethlehem office of the Lehigh Valley Automobile Association of America are the absolute best. From Finding Me a van to rent booking me tickets to a cooking competition even selling me Disney tickets and more.
