AAA Waterbury

Negative experience: I drove from Litchfield to Waterbury for a previously scheduled appointment at 11am to obtain the TSA for airline flights. When I arrived, I was told the system was down since early that morning. AAA could have texted or telephoned me, but they did NEITHER!! AAA definitely had my phone number since I was texted the previous day for the second time to confirm my appointment day and time.

Negative experience: I went to the office for my son’s TSA. They told me that I have to be present because my som is using my credit card. I got to the place and the TSA did not any email. I called TSA and they said that the office did not send in the fingerprint information. I called the AAA office who redirected me to the TSA who told me that the office needs to send the finger print so I am going to dispute the charge and do TSA in another office

Fantastic experience: Great experience applying for TSA. In and out quickly. Explained what would happen next etc. Great place to apply for your TSA enrollment.

Fantastic experience: We did the TSA pre check here and had a great experience! The woman who helped us (I wish I asked her name, I’m sorry) was so sweet and helpful. We were worried about the location but this seemed to be in a very safe area with plenty of parking. It was a very fast process and she was so nice to our son and included him in the process. Fantastic experience: I was sent there for a TSA appointment Saturday 2-24 the scanner GOVplus claiming your appointment Is all set. So when I get there I went to the window I spoke to (forgive I can’t remember his name ) tall black man . He said politely to me there was no appointment for me. WHAT ! Please take I’ll seat what I can do. Then he spoke to the woman who’s in charge of doing TSA who was also polite as well. She said if this person doesn’t show I’ll do it for you ! They were a no show . Low and be hold she did it for me. I was so happy cause I didn’t have to do all those forms again. I couldn’t thank them enough.

Positive experience: They treat gold customers like they’re the walk ins off the street. You shouldn’t wait hours for a tow that you pre pay for annually. It’s crazy my father needed a tow he’s a gold member and waited 4+ hours for a IN TOWN TOW. that’s ridiculous. When I was a kid AAA was fantastic now its terrible quality control is down clearly

Fantastic experience: Got a flat tire so I went on the app. The app was super easy, no hassle of waiting to talk to someone, and they had someone sent out to me asap. Jonathan from Avenue was there within 20mins of sending the call. He was super nice and soo quick! the whole process was less than an hour. I had my daughter with me so I appreciated everything being so quick and simple.

Negative experience: Was stranded on my motorcycle 30 minutes from my house with a shorted battery. Not only did they tell me "there are no batteries that fit your bike nearby", but they also refused to tow me. Furthermore, I found a battery literally 20 minutes from where I broke down.

Negative experience: Don’t trust their hours of operation. Their listing in google maps and their phone message is wrong. They are Not open on Saturday and didn’t know this until we drove all the way down here.

Negative experience: I have been a AAA member for 20+ years and overall I enjoy the service they provide. I recently used the battery replacement service. I am writing this review specifically for the battery replacement service. Avoid using if you can. If your battery is faulty, getting a replacement is pretty close to impossible. I got many different stories for each of the agents I spoke with. Save youself the headache and just go to the car parts store and buy one there. In case you have an issuer the auto parts store will be able to help you where AAA will not.

CALLED THEIR OFFICE LAST WEEK TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT THEIR DMV SERVICES. I WAS PUT ON HOLD , AFTER WAITING ON LINE 2 HOURS 59MIN. (Yes I stayed on line waiting ) I REALIZED THEY HAD CLOSED OFFICE WITH ME STILL ON HOLD WITH UNANSWERED QUESTION. NEXT DAY DROVE UP ASKED FOR MANAGER WAS TOLD HE WASN'T THERE. ASSISTANT MANAGER ASSURED ME MANAGER WOULD GET BACK TO ME NEXT DAY. THEY WERE VERY RUDE TO ME AND WAS TOLD I SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AT THAT OFFICE IN THE FIRST PLACE ,SHOULDVE BEEN AT ONE IN WTBY CT CLOSER TO ME. NOBODY EVER GOT BACK TO ME. WENT BACK TO WTBY OFFICE TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED WAS ASSURED BY MANAGER THERE WHO WAS VERY NICE I WOULD BE CONTACTED BY HEADQUARTERS. IT'S BEEN A WEEK SINCE THIS INCIDENCE STILL NO RETURN CALL . WE HAVE BEEN MEMBERS ALMOST 40 YRS! THINKING OF CANCELLING, PAYING $190.00YR FOR PREMIER THIS US NO WAY TO TREAT LONG TIME MEMBERS!!!! I AM CALLING OFFICE AGAIN TOMORROW IF NO RESULTS MOST LIKELY YOU WILL LOSE OUR BUSINESS ALONG WITH OTHER MEMBERS I'VE TOLD.

Fantastic experience: Renewed my license. SO worth having AAA membership for that alone! There was a line when I went in for license renewals and because I had a membership, they had me go in members line, then I was called up almost immediately. I almost felt bad going ahead others waiting...but that's part of the perks of joining AAA...and the staff was very friendly, nice to everyone, and very patient with every person's questions. I never write reviews. This was well worth it!
