Fantastic experience: Awesome place for all military (retired, active, reserve) to get all their needs for recreation met.

Negative experience: DO NOT RENT EQUIPMENT HERE! We paid $100 for a snowboard rental that ended up being completely unusable. The bindings would not tighten to the board and rotated when you attempted to ride it. This not only made the board difficult to ride, but it's also a huge safety risk to use a board with unsecured bindings. Upon returning it and asking for a refund for the broken snowboard, we were told that "We know it's a terrible design and we're trying to get fixed but they just do that and there's nothing we can do." We were refused a refund. So basically, they know that their equipment doesn't work but still rent it out anyway and refuse to refund it. We not only lost the $100 on the rental, but also drove 3+ hours to the mountain and back just to not be able to use it.

Fantastic experience: Sorry for the late review!! We went into this facility on 2/14 to check out rental items. We were approached by a gentleman named Perry, his customer service was REMARKABLE! He was very tentative, kind, and his knowledge about the products were ON POINT! Although we didn’t rent anything his way of conversing was very natural and that’s very rare to find these days. I just wanted to say thank you for everything! Hands down the best customer service we’ve had in a while! Keep it up Perry!!!

Positive experience: Travis Famcamp is a good place to stay. Be prepared to call outdoor rec, option 2 for buy tickets and request Tyler to address any issues with your campsite.

Fantastic experience: They are very helpful and have some wonderful customer service. They work with you even though you may have a pushing time frame. I have been here for several things, and all have been excellent.

Fantastic experience: One of the benefits of being a veteran is the outdoor rec. Excellent deals on local trips for outdoor activities. They also have the best prices on tickets to theme parks like Disneyland/world, Paramount and six flags. Great deals with hotels at these locations. You can save a LOT of money using their services.

Fantastic experience: Yolanda is a great resource. If you stop in for ideas, especially if you can't make the group tours, she will give you all the info you need to create your own trip. In case you miss her, sharing the info she gave us. Her recommended winery: Sterling Winery, ($35 for self guided winery sampling and tour, great views going up in an air tram). Best way to go to San Fran: Take the ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco at 10am on Sat/Sun, (try for Sat to make it to Farmers Market), parking $7 and one way ticket $15. We didn't have time for the jelly bean factory tour and oil and wine market nearby in Fairfield but will do it next time. Thanks Yolanda!

Fantastic experience: Great place to find people knowledgeable about various outdoor and tourist places around Northern CA, whether well-known or off the beaten path. There is also a lot of equipment here to rent. I plan to join several excursions in the coming months do discover places I had not seen in the 23 years that I have lived in CA!

Positive experience: Service with a smile. If you're looking to plan a trip to a location like Disneyland I'd definitely check their options. They also have outdoor equipment that can be rented, to include bounce houses perfect for parties or squadron events

Negative experience: Rarely ever have the gear that is listed in their pamphlet. I showed up for some water sports equipment, none of what was listed in their adventure guide was in stock, it was all damaged, and out of stock.

Fantastic experience: They are FABULOUS! The new management is great! Also if you want to use their equipment, be a guide and you have access to it. Great travel gigs too. You should at least check it out before you spend your money anywhere else.
