Fantastic experience: Kia travel is the best choice, especial in processing documents for authentication. I had to authenticate a document for Ethiopia and they take care of the authentication process by go through the State Department and Ethiopian Embassy in Washington DC. After that, they forward the paperwork to their Addis office, where it is further authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and they promptly return the document to me. I'm happy of the agency and Biniam in particular because of the amazing and extremely professional way he followed up after explaining the entire procedure. Once again, I appreciate your assistance.

Negative experience: I have paid $278 and waited 10 months for my Ethiopian Yellow Card. Repeated attempts to resolve this issue with Ato Tassew has been to no avail. Save your money, work with a different agency, or direct with the embassy in washington DC. These guys have no clue how to do business in the Western world! they just enjoy taking your money! A scam... I would rate them a zero if I could! Very disappointing, though they came with high recommendations!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Kia travel since 2017. The owner/Chernet and staff very attentive, professional and knowledgeable about the laws and regulations. They were able to finish transferring karta under my name with very few documents on my hand. They were able to track down all the required paperwork from kebeles and was able to finalize the karta under my name. They did the IMPOSSIBLE and I will always be grateful for that. Chernet treats me as family, not a customer, the consultation and advice he gives always has your best interest at heart and very educated on the laws and how things work in Ethiopia, I always feel at ease after I speak to him on how to pursue certain situations. They continue to be great by renting and managing my house in Addis. The team is Addis is also amazing. They frequently check on the rented house, take pictures and email with details. They collect rent and deposit to bank. What can I say” I sleep well at night because I know I’m in good hands”. Their wekelena/yellow card/TIN number process is also fast. Biniyam took the time to call and remind me the required documents to speed up my process. All the services they provide are fast and very transparent. Over all, call their office and you will be amazed with all the services they provide.
