Fantastic experience: I've never used a travel agency before in my life, but when my family of 5 tried to book a cruise to the Caribbean I realized that we needed to go through an agent to get the "special rooms" on the ship for family sizes like ours (at least that's what the forums online said). I called and talked with Diana Chamberlain and she was super accommodating and understanding of our situation. She was clearly very knowledgeable about how to help us. She quickly reserved us exactly what we needed and answered all my questions. She was also very communicative after the booking, letting me know what I needed to do in preparation and always willing to answer questions. Next time I have any travel needs, I'm definitely calling Diana!

Fantastic experience: I changed this cruise twice! Diana was so nice, and did all the searching for me. Still got two rooms adjacent to each other. The cruise charged fees for my bad planning, but the trip was awesome. Cheaper than booking online direct. Royal Caribbean has some 'amazing sale' that expires at midnight like everyday, but Diana can save you a little money, do the searching, and make your life easier..

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of working with a travel agent for my Disney trip, and I can't recommend them enough. As far as agencies go, this one was beyond helpful! First off, the customer service was outstanding and Robin Boswell tailored her recommendations specifically for me and my 8 year old nephew's trip. She gave me tips on how to maximize my time with Disney hotels, attractions, and even which areas were a must-see. I will be asking for more rundowns and bookings with Snelgrove for my next Disney trip!

Fantastic experience: I didn't have a lot of time to book my family's trip to Cancun. Called Snelgrove Travel and had a very good experience. They helped me get a Skymiles discount and with this package to Cancun, I am now Gold medallion status. They were very helpful with all my questions and made the process easy. Fantastic experience: Diana Chamberlain is amazing! She booked 6 of us on an Alaskan Cruise. We chose Discovery Princess and it was perfect. Our cabins were all together so we could open the balcony into a large one for all of us. The ship was beautiful, the staff had the best customer service I have ever seen. Diana’s help and instruction on how to maneuver our flights, hotels in Seattle, excursions etc was spot on. We did whale watching in Juneau, white railroad pass in Skagway and just self exploration in Ketchikan. Our favorite day was Glacier Bay. We were able to just stay on our balcony, order drinks and food from our princess app. and have it delivered right to our rooms. We definitely recommend going platinum, even if you don’t drink the other perks are worth it. Thank you Diana for arranging and guiding us to the perfect vacation for us.

I prefer going thru an in person travel agent instead of all the online searching myself. I've come to her a few times for travel plans. It's so much easier with her planning things than me having to do it all online. Turns out I had to cancel cuz of all the Vermont and Connecticut flooding. She was so quick and helpful to get the airfare cancelled in time.

Fantastic experience: We’ve used Snelgrove for over half a dozen trips with great success. However our last one, Delta canceled one of our flights. As this was a Delta Vacations trip it was a little alarming. Robin called us several days before departure giving us the news. It was our second return flight from Atlanta to Utah in the evening that was canceled. Delta was originally only going put us up in a hotel and move us to the next evenings flight. The problem, it was a 10 pm flight, meaning we would’ve had to leave the hotel at check out and try to find something to do for 10 hours. Robin was as upset as we were so she decided to get a hold of anyone and everyone that could help. She actually got Delta to cover an extra night at the resort In the DR with no cost to us making it an even better vacation. Robin along with Diana and Rebecca have always been great to deal with. Their personal knowledge and great communication is why we’ll always use Snelgrove for trips. Thanks for the extra effort Robin!

I chose Snelgrove since the name is a synonym for integrity along the Wasatch Front. I sought the assistance of Rebecca at Snelgrove and was impressed with how cheerfully she shared information even though there would be little gain for her. I highly recommend Snelgrove Travel as a great resource for your travel needs.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I worked with Richard Snelgrove to book two cabins for our upcoming Alaska cruise on Princess. He answered all our questions and is great at what he does. We just went and paid off those cabins, while there Richard wrote up a $70 cruise rebate check. This was a portion of what the cruise line pays him for booking the cruise. He definitely didn't have to share this with us. We are very grateful for this and all the work he did for us. We highly recommend Snelgrove Travel Center. Negative experience: Recommend that you AVOID!! RUN AWAY!! This is the worst travel agency out there in our experience. They will advertise that they will beat all online prices. After 4 different phone calls that it took them just to verify the right itinerary, they finally conceded to beat the best price on the internet by a couple dollars. When a Military discount was applied by the cruise company, Snelgrove jacked their prices up $150. It is hard to believe there is a company out there so willing to take advantage of a discount that people of the Military are given by a cruise company. We were easily able to work with a number of online companies that were not interested in price gouging their customers and taking advantage of their customers that receive a Military discount. Wasted an entire day trying to work with these folks. There are better prices and more respect for their customers by many better companies out there. We were amazed at how they seemed to struggle with simple math. Save yourself the wasted time and grief from trying to work with a bad apple. Cannot say enough bad things about this company!!! We had many conversations with Richard and this was not a good experience. You are better working off with so many better companies! Your time is worth something and this company did nothing but waste ours. You may want to consider what your time is worth before calling them as it may take far longer than it should and the results are less competitive than if you used an online company.

Fantastic experience: Kristina was an excellent source of information for our trip to Cancun. Her initial bid was better than three other agencies and it was nice to have a complete offer rather than piece together something online. The people there were always accommodating...even when I arrived as they were walking out the door to go home for the day. The resort she referred us to was not only within our budget but was one of the best in the area. We had such a good time! Choosing from a very long list of excursions was difficult, it would have been nice to have a shorter list of options that people enjoyed most. I did not know that information would be helpful so I did not request it. Even though we will be leaving Utah I intend to keep them in my contacts and use them for all my trips. I would gladly refer friends to this company.

Positive experience: The place has a funky smell.... They need febreeze for sure. Alaska airlines has a 60 day return you ticket with a $120.00 penalty according to their web page. Snelgrove said they would give a full refund back if it was up to them, but said it's up to Alaska air. Snelgrove proceeded to charge $200.00 cancelation fee. I'm sitting in Seattle for 6 hours due to the route they chose for us. Something ain't right here.

Negative experience: I have used these guys for a vacation once in the past and had a great time other than every thing planned was not the truth, so I decided to try them again thinking they would help and they refused to help me book a trip that was to florida the lady was rude and I got hung up on. I will never refer anyone to them after trying weeks to get a quote for 3 different vacations and them saying they would email me and never did then I call them and no one is nice and won't help at all I will never give them my money again!!!! This is not a bogus review my wife wrote this and she has used you in the past and yes she did get hung up on and no one would assist her she was trying to plan a trip for this Christmas and your team said they couldn't help her because it was only to florida and not out of the states!!!!

Negative experience: I've tried twice now to get feedback of rates and travel for upcoming trip to Hawaii- the 1st time the dates of travel were wrong in the quote, responded with correction and clarification- never heard back. Tried again last week because they are promoting HAWAII fares- still nothing. Save your time and energy- if people are willing to spend $ traveling they need to improve customer service to respond to needs and inquiries in timely manner.
